THE GREAT PINKIE!

2, Papyrus acts strange

Previous Chapter

Flowey let out a bored sigh. Or he would. But that would ruin it. Would it? Flowey almost shook his head.

He really liked Papyrus. The goofball was always so cheerful, and could undertake so much stress! Physically and mentally.

'He gets up now.' Flowey thought in his head.

"WELL FLOWER, I ENJOYED OUR TALK. HOWEVER, I NEED TO GO HOME TO MY BROTHER." Papyrus said, getting up from the snow.

'I wonder how far I can knock your head' Flowey thought. A vine popped out of the ground. 'Three more steps, turn around to talk about your dumb lasagna, turn around, and boom.'

Papyrus took a few step, before stopping. "AH, THAT REMINDS M-" The vine shot strait forward as Papyrus turned- and tripped, the vine missing his skull by a centimeter.

Flowey stared in shock for a moment. 'H-he tripped!? But he never trips here! How-! Why!?'

"SORRY, I TRIPPED." Papyrus said as he got up. "BUT AS I WAS SAYING, I THINK I'M GOING TO BAKE A CAKE FOR MY BROTHER." Papyrus walked over to a random tree and pulled out a piece of paper. "I'M MISSING SOME INGREDIENTS, AND I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE ANY I COULD BORROW."

"I- I- I need to go!" Flowey said, popping into the ground. He reemerged in Waterlands, panting heavily. "W-what just happened!? How did he!? I-!" The RESET button appeared as Flowey stared at it. "... No. I'm actually curious to see where this goes." he said to himself. The button disappeared. "Plus, I haven't disappeared in a panic for a long while."

"FLOWER, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"

"GAH!" Flowey turned around and stared at an Echo flower. "Oh... That's right." He turned away, a troubled look over his face. 'Why... Why did that scare me so badly? A change should be nice!"

"YOU KNOW YOU CAN TALK WITH ME, RIGHT?"

Flowey let gave a small grin to the flower. "I almost killed you... How many times have a killed you? I've lost count."

"FLOWER, I AM YOUR FRIEND, AND I UNDERSTAND IF YOU NEED TIME ALONE. BUT BEATING YOURSELF UP WITHOUT ANY REASON? ... I WILL BE SILENT, BUT I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU."

"But then you dodged. Somehow, you dodged." Flowey frowned. "You also wanted to make a different food."

"FLOWER, THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL MESSAGE. THERE IS A PIZZA FOR YOU UNDER THE BENCH. IT IS FROZEN, BUT CAN BE COOKED BY LETTING IT SIT ON HOTLAND SHORES FOR TWENTY SEVEN MINUTES. I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER."

Flowey blinked. "Oh. I... never checked... Huh."

Sans let out a sigh. "well, i'm bored." he said, sighing a second time. He paused, before sighing even louder. "really? I was expecting something to happen. maybe if i sigh louder..." His watch suddenly beeped. "looks like my shift is over. i haven't noticed anything shifty either, so that's good. i better shift on over home before my brother loses his shift over me being late." With that finale but of cringe, he shifted home, plopping on the couch.

"GREETINGS!" Sans glanced at his brother, who was in the kitchen. "AND YOU ARE?"

"sans. sans the skeleton." Sans said. He waited for Papyrus to correct him for... whatever the question was. He honestly wasn't paying attention.

'Well shoot. That barely helps me.' Pinkie thought to her-his?self. She didn't even know what gender this body was! Usually you could look between the legs, but all the everything wasn't there! Just bones! It was an understatement to say she was panicking. Plus she had no idea who anyone was.

Thankfully, she could still bake. And talk...

***

"SANS? I NEED SOME ADVICE."

"don't kick a dog." Sans suggested. He glanced at his brother, who looked slightly troubled and distracted. "dude, is something wrong?"

"...I'VE... I'VE UPSET A FRIEND. AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT." Papyrus said, his voice shaking slightly.

"who?" Sans asked, sitting up. His brother hesitated to answer. "wait, it's not the flower, right? i keep telling you, it's nothing but bad news!" Sans could smell sweets. But the shopkeeper was still working!

***

Well this helped none. Pinkie was now pretty sure she was now a he, but the relationship between her and this other guy was still a mystery. They could possibly be boyfriends or brothers, and that was something she did NOT want to mix up.

***

"pap, you've been staring at the flour for like four minutes. what's got you so rattled?" Sans asked.

"..."

"...sooo, find any humans on patrol?" Sans asked. His brother didn't respond. "papyrus?"

"N-NO. I DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING ON PATROL." Papyrus answered. "HEY SANS?"

"yeah?"

"IF YOU COULD, WOULD YOU KISS A CLONE OF YOURSELF?" Papyrus asked, pouring the cake batter into a pan.

*Some how, the oven is already preheated.

"i skelecan't see myself doing that." Sans answered. Papyrus let out a snerk. "but i would still be beside myself with excitement." A slight giggle. "we would probably fight every now and then, but nothing i should beat myself up over." There was a large snerk, and Papyrus was now holding a hand over his teeth. "but imagine if there were clones of you pap. It would be a youtopia. Me and my clone would probably run trains, becoming genetic engineers.

Papyrus burst out laughing. "NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!"

***

'He's hilarious!'

***

"anyways, i made you a best brother pizza. it's in the fridge." Sans said.

***

Pinkie threw open the fridge and grabbed the pizza.

*Its a pizza with the words "pap best brother yes" written in ketchup.

'Hey, this means that he'll be my best friend in this place! But for some reason he creeps me out'
***

Flowey stared at the pizza. It was covered in mold.

*Moldy Pizza. It's made with love.

"Huh." Flowey glanced around, making sure no one was watching. Then he took a bite.
