On a hill was Corporal Sapphire Love a blue unicorn with black hair with a sapphire gem and a Claddagh symbol that's in the background with the gem over the Claddagh symbol.

In her squad is Farming Green a dark green earth pony stallion armed with two 7.62mm GPMG on battle saddles, Violet Soaring a violet-colored pegasus mare armed with two Rifle caliber 5.56mm battle saddles, and Aroura Surge a stallion alicorn who's a light purple who's armed with a scoped 7.62 battle rifle. They're all wearing dark olive green woodland camouflage with backpacks, some with helmets and some with hats, and gas masks on their utility belts.

The Equestrians are still working on flight and got the basics of something called a "helicopter" and the 57 foot 9 5/8 inches long, 10 foot tall, and 10 foot wide olive green helicopter flew away they saw some exploding clouds.

Their only way in and out of the Zebra homelands is kaput and they're on their own.

Corporal Sapphire Love told her team that they need to find two defectors from the Zebras and bring them back to Equestria. But the closest is within a mile from their location.

They heard some of the bushes rattles and they pointed their weapon where they heard the rattling coming from.

"Come out nice and slow," said Farming Green, "Or we'll fill you with lead!"

A zony mare came out of the bushes, sat down, and stuck her hooves up.

Sapphire Love told Violet Soaring the question and Violet Soaring said, "Who is my favorite mail pony?" asked Violet.

The zony told her that it's Derpy Hooves.

They singled the zony over to them before any zebra sees her.

"My mother." said the Zony, "My mother you have to rescue her from my father. I can show you where she's being held captive."

"Just stay here and stay hidden." says Aurora Surge, "Just stay here sweetie we'll get her.", PFC Aurora Surge then gave the twelve-year-old Zony mare a kiss on the head to keep her calm.

The Zony protested wanting to help them and finally said, "I know the Zebra patrol routes down there and knows how to get to her house quicker than normal routes.

"First we silence those AA and triple AAA guns." said Sapphire Love, "Then we come back to you and you can take us to your mother."

They went down and caught the Zebra sentries off guard.

On the roof of a small warehouse, Corporal Sapphire Love placed a satchel charge on one of the Zebra's Anti-Air Cannon where she had a small steel thing that's in the shape of a cigarette and turned it three times in a 360-degree rotation and pulled the pin with her magic.

Corporal Sapphire ran and yelled "Fire in the hole" and after fifteen seconds the Zebra AA gun was knocked out of action they had one down and two to go.

They made quick work of the Zebras of using their weapons where the Zebras had old bolt-action-rifles while a majority of the Zebra Carbine Rifles are on the front to deal with the Steel Rangers. But some of the Zebras have specialized rounds that can penetrate steel.

The Zebras they fought were undertrained and they went back for the Zony and she lead them through thick woods until they were thirty feet from a quarter-mile bridge.

There was no way to cross it easily without attacking the guarding Zebras head-on.

The Zony mare asked what's their plan was without being suicidal but the only way for them to cross was head-on so they did. They laid down a heavy amount of firepower that overwhelmed the Zebras but the Zebras on the bridge had no cover.

The Zony mare galloped across the bridge and they had to catch up with her because she's running home.

They ran inside to see a Zebra on the second floor holding a golden assault rifle, "You think you Equestrians can come in here and take over!?" chuckled the Zebra, "Your mistaken, Nothing not even your precious Steel Rangers can stop us! We won't stop until every Equestrian stallion is killed and every Equestrian mare becomes our sex toys!"

He shot at them but he was quickly put down by the Equestrian special forces team.

They searched the rooms for VIP 2.

"Um Ponies." said the Zony mare, "We got company!"

Sapphire Love came over and saw three companies worth of Zebras walking on the bridge and coming off of it and spreading out but also coming closer to the house.

Aroura Surge opened a door and saw a tied-up orange earth pony so the alicorn walked over to her, untiled and unbounded her.

Still, on the second floor, Aroura Surge came out with the VIP and told them that the package is secure.

The rest regrouped with Aroura Surge but they needed to get away out of there. The only way they came in is their only exit but 360 Zebras are outside and slowly approaching the house.

The orange earth pony told them that there's a golden flying thing on the roof which they can use so they all went up there.

They all got on and Sapphire Love got in the cockpit.

"Okay, Sapphire okay," said Sapphire Love, "How do you start this thing up?"

Sapphire Love started to hit random things until it started up and they were off.

"Alright we're off." said Sapphire Love, "We're going back to Equestria."

They all heard bullets ricocheting and thudding sounds on the metal of the prototype Zebra helicopter which they're trying to be neck to neck with the Equestrians in air supremacy because they don't have pegasi and an advanced war industry or magic as well.

Sapphire Love started to calm down the moment but though that the Zebras have a powerful industrialized empire but they can't mass produce on the Equestrian level which unicorns can copy/clone objects so they don't have to waste materials that are vital in the war effort.

"Hey look." said Farming Green "Enemy convoy down below. They must be heading to the front."

"I ain't going to attack them." said Corporal Sapphire Love, "Our brave mares and stallions on the front lines can deal with them later no fun for them if they don't kill them."

They soon came across a dam and the Zebra forces attacked them but the helicopter they're in has an autocannon and some rockets to destroy Equestrian power-armored Steel Rangers.

They were easily dealt with from the air but there were some anti-air fortifications in the valley below.

Sapphire Love and the Equestrians Special Forces team disembarked after she landed it.

In a building.

"Corporal Love?" said Aroura Surge, "I don't know how to say it but I love you and I want to be with you. Will you be my marefriend?"

"We been friends since we were both colt and filly," said Corporal Sapphire "I always had a special place in my heart for you. When this war is over it'll just be me, you, and a "couple" of foals living on a farm."

Aroura Surge asked what she means by "a couple of foals" only for Sapphire Love to point out that by the time the war ends that millions of Equestrians will die and will go through a foal boom and the two are going to do their part.

"Power's off," said Farming Green, "The enemy port won't have any more power and they'll be in the dark as well."

They all left because the building has a backup generator in case of a power failure and re-embarked the helicopter and flew off again.

There were loud thudding sounds of higher caliber rounds hitting the helicopter so Corporal Sapphire Love used her magic and had the helicopter go up to make them a harder target.

They flew back to Equestrian front lines which took hours but before they did they painted it in Equestrian colors.

Two hundred and two years later

In Stable 190, Harp was looking through a book of her family generation and thought it was funny that a unicorn and an alicorn gotten a spot in the Stable and had two daughters and she's their great-great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter.

Harp then kept her smile of seeing her pride of joy which is Purple Artist under her and her husband but she placed a red x over Base because he's dead to her and going to pretend that she never conceived him and birthed him where in her mind, Purple is her only son.

"Purple I know you can't hear me." said Harp, "But can you please find a mare, come back to the Stable and give me some grand foals?. Love you Purple stay safe. But please give me some grand foals before my time is up."
