Fallout Equestria: Wasteland Guardian

While out walking after saving a town full of old wartime Zebra commandos who were turned into ghouls via the Balefire Radiation. Purple, Rocky, Paladin Sapphire, Critical, and Starry were out walking again. It was just another day in the nightmare of the Equestrian Wasteland.

They saw a building on the horizon and they saw that it was an old pre-war farm with ruined crops and dead animals. They entered the barn and decided to get some rest.

They didn't do much, only for Critical to look out the barn window to keep an eye out for Raiders, Slavers, Alicorns, Hellhounds, Grand Pony Enclave and so on.

Paladin Sapphire, and Starry took a nap, and Rocky couldn't comprehate that her brother stabbed them in the back and mostly she's broken hearted about it that Midnight Twister would betray them. He promised her that he would take good care of her no matter what and won't be separated from her.

Purple was busy raiding the farm for supplies; he left anything that he felt had any kind of sentimental values to the pre-war owners. That's because he had morals which are more or less extinct in the wasteland.

Half an hour later they all got their stuff and headed southwest and saw more of the same dry wasteland soil and a lot of destroyed trees and they kept going. They also saw some destroyed buildings or buildings waiting to collapse one day.

They kept walking until they saw a tall wall with a five foot concrete wall in a rectangle formation with a twenty foot razor wire fence on top of the concrete fence and an old tattered Equestrian flag flapping in the wind.

The base didn't have much, they saw some metallic circle's on the ground with numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, they all stepped on number four. Paladin Sapphire out of curiosity pressed a button and number four started to go down.

They saw darkness so Purple turned on his Pipbuck 3000's flashlight and soon it stopped and they got off.

"Let's find the utility or engineering room," said Purple. "And let's start the power back up!"

They would all like to see and they came to a directory telling them where each room is and not surprised that the utility/engineering room was and it was kinda hard to see where they were going even with Purple's Pipbuck was bright enough to see far ahead.

"I wanna say we're walking into a death trap," said Critical. "Who knows. But a location like this? I would've set up a permanent operation out of here. Nice and located underground. Nopony would think to look for me here."

They soon went downstairs and followed Purple into the utility/engineering room and it took some time and Purple got it up and running the main power was back online.

They decided to explore the underground base and thought it was a secret remote by the Ministry of Morale to do surveillance on the wartime Equestrian population or just a secret off the books Equestrian military black ops base. But they saw some skeletons in white t-shirts, dark olive green overshirts, and combat helmets.

In the main room, they saw a map of Equestria and the Crystal Empire. It said, "CANTERLOT: OFFLINE, FILLYDELPHIA: OFFLINE, MANEHATTAN: OFFLINE, VANHOOFER: OFFLINE, LAS PEGASUS: OFFLINE, APPLEWOOD: OFFLINE, LOS UNICORNIA: OFFLINE, CRYSTAL EMPIRE: OFFLINE, CLOUDSDALE: OFFLINE, MARETROPOLIS: OFFLINE, BALTIMARE: OFFLINE, SEAWARD SHOALS: OFFLINE, TROTTINGHAM: OFFLINE, SALT LICK CITY: OFFLINE, SEADDLE: OFFLINE, CHICOLTGO: OFFLINE, HORSOLULU: OFFLINE, FOALEDU: OFFLINE, HOOFINGTON: OFFLINE, MUSTANGIA: OFFLINE, WHINNYAPOLIS: OFFLINE, SAN FRANCISCOLT: OFFLINE."

"That's a lot of 'Offline's.' Something bad happened," said Critical.

Rocky replied, "No shit Sherlock Homes."

Purple replied, "The Balefire bombs what happened. The Balefire bombs are the reason for that."

They walked around to explore the new underground base. They did it to explore it and to see the base more until Rainy Night came over Purple's Pipbuck telling him that Honey Cake and they are under attack with no way to escape as their Vertibucks are being blown out of the sky while taking off.

Purple lit up his horn and teleported to Grand Pegasus Enclave Combat Command Attack- Honey Cake base Aurora and saw Steel Rangers attacking it with force.

At GPE Base Aurora.

Purple flapped his wings and saw a Vertibuck take off from a hangar only to blow up killing the crew and injured soldiers. He also saw a Senior Paladin ordering the four Paladins, three Crusaders, and twenty-one Knights. Not adding there were five more Paladins, four Crusaders, and twenty-eight Knights attacking the left and the same amount attacking the right for a total of one Senior Paladin, fourteen Paladins, Eleven Crusaders, and seventy-seven Knights.

Target the officers first to demoralize them, Purple thought, That's what we were taught in the Stable from books written by the military and that is to target officers and their morale will drop quickly. That's what our sharpshooters did back during the war and shot the Zebra officers. But all their armor is the same and I don't know who's who. Come on S.A.T.S do your trick.

Purple used his S.A.T.S. and found the Senior Paladin and he picked him up, took off his helmet, and shot him only to drop him from several hundred feet.

A mare voice said, "All hooves! Abandon the base. The Aurora base is lost."

Purple headed to the command building he saw several deceased GPE soldiers and dead GEP operators and almost got his head blown off by Colonel Honey Cake with her Novasurge RIfle.

"Sorry Lavender!" said Colonel Honey Cake, "This isn't the best time for this!"

Purple told Colonel Honey Cake about a secret base he and the gang found. He'll buy them some time to head there.

Purple galloped out and the Steel Rangers opened fire on him only for their bullets and energy rounds to reflect off of Purple's magical barrier which he used to defend himself. The remainder of GPE CCA Honey Cake headed to the secret location even the old Equestrian pilots who finally got there old fighters, dive bombers, tactical bombers and torpedo bombers in working condition and went there.

At the secret base.

"Come on Private," said Colonel Honey Cake. "Lavender! Got a badly injured one! The right eye was blown out!"

The GPE Private replied, "I don't want to die. I want to see my little fillies."

Purple had his hooves overwhelmed literally and didn't have the medical supplies on him or in the room to keep up with the injured. All of the hospital beds were occupied and the additional injured had to wait outside or sit on the inside against the wall.

Purple did what he could. Paladin Sapphire saw Purple overworked so she went and found Honey Cake setting up in the main office overlooking the operations room.

Paladin Sapphire talked to Colonel Honey Cake and Honey Cake pressed a button.

"Honey Cake to Aerial 2-1." said Colonel Honey Cake.

A GPE Pilot said, "Reporting Colonel."

Honey Cake replied, "Got a special mission for you. Transportation."

The GPE Pilot replied, "Roger that Colonel. Transportation mission."

"Honey Cake to Aurora squad," said Honey Cake.

A GPE Soldier replied, "Reporting Colonel."

Honey Cake replied, "Aurora squad go with Aerial 2-1. Travel light. You're going to have a visitor with you."

The GPE soldier replied, "Roger that Colonel. Recon only."

Paladin Sapphire got Aerial 2-1, a metallic AV-1 Vertibuck.

"Looks like they're about to go fight a Star Spawn," said Paladin Sapphire. "Two miniguns and twenty-four 77mm rockets."

The Gunship Transportation Vertibuck started up and they piled on.

Honey Cake told the pilots and told Stable 190 and gave them the coordinates. And the Vertibuck flew to the location.

In the Stable in the Overpony's office.

Paladin Sapphire knocked on the door and Overmare Harp answered it.

"Oh it's you," said Overmare Harp. "What do you want?"

Paladin Sapphire explained the best she could that a lot of Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers need medical help. But Overmare Harp quickly shot Paladin Sapphire down due to the fact that they and the Grand Pegasus Enclave have bad blood.

"Fine hope you can sleep at night knowing that dozens of colts and fillies are going to grow up without a father or mother or both," said Paladin Sapphire. "Hope you can sleep at night knowing that there's going to be dozens of colts and fillies that are going to grow up parentless and fall into bad groups and become other groups of Raiders and Slavers."

Overmare Harp replied, "Alright. I'll get some Stable Doctors and give them to you. But I want them back and hope I don't regret this decision."

Paladin Sapphire thanked her for that and went to pay Rainy Night and Albatross a visit as the Stable doctors got their medkits and medical supplies ready for a lot of mass injury of all those Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers.

The two made a wonderful duo and Paladin Sapphire didn't disturb them and went back to the Vertibuck with the medical team and went back to the new CCA Honey Cake base. The Stable doctors were able to help with their two tons worth of supplies and that quickly went and they had more to go through.

At night.

The barracks in the underground base were full with GPE CCA Honey Cake Soldiers and officers in the bunk beds. There weren't a lot of beds for a thousand so a lot of them had to sleep on the floor or somewhere. The bed in Honey Cake's office was full with her, Purple in the middle and Paladin Sapphire on the right against the wall.

Both Grand Pony Enclave and Steel Rangers flew over the new base for the CCA Honey Cake regiment; the base has a secret defense mechanism to create a sandstorm to deter anypony from finding the base. It also prohibits night time flight operations as well.

In the morning.

Colonel Honey Cake got up and noticed Purple was missing and Honey Cake visited the infirmary to pay a visit to the critically injured soldiers under her command. Even the one who's missing an eye.

"Colonel?" said the GPE soldier, missing an eye, "Can you do me a favor?"

Colonel Honey Cake replied, "Yeah, name it."

The GPE soldier replied, "Can you write and send a letter to my two fillies?"

Honey Cake replied, "Yeah. I can."

Honey Cake got a pencil and a piece of paper.

"Ok say what you want me to write down," said Colonel Honey Cake.

The GPE soldier said, "Winter Breeze, Fall Gust. This is your father writing to you. I don't think I'm going to see you two any more. I was badly injured in a firefight and I'm just badly injured. None of the doctors or medics won't tell me but I have a gut feeling I won't make it home and won't see you two within sixteen months when my tour of duty is over. But I want to tell you that daddy loves you. I wish I could be there to see you two grow up and get married or something like that. Whatever you two do just run and go live with your Aunt Melody Heart she'll take care of you better than your alcoholic mother. But daddy loves you. Love Daddy."

Honey Cake wanted to shed a tear but she didn't and sent the letter to the injured GPE soldier two fillies. She went to go check on the injured GPE soldiers again only to notice the one with a missing eye had a white sheet over him.

"Lavender?" asked Honey Cake, "Why aren't you helping him? Why aren't you helping PFC Autumn Windsore?"

Purple replied, "Your Private First Class is dead. Even with the antibiotics and medicine the infection reached his brain and heart. He died from it. Even if he was the only injured soldier in here and with every medicine and medical stuff here, he still would've died. I'm sorry but we tried everything we could even if we had every medical item and medicine here he only had a 99 to 1 chance of survival. 99% of death, 1% of survival. I'm sorry Honey Cake. But we couldn't and we still have to ration our medical supplies and we're critically low and don't have a lot. I'm sorry."

Colonel Honey Cake left and went back to her office and she trashed it. Honey Cake slid down a wall and started to cry her eyes out
