Spirit Animal

I could feel myself being carried by something that feels like static all over my body. The cold wind of the night rushed threw my hair. It only made me want to sleep more and hopping it would last like this forever. That was until I could hear a familiar voice that sounded sweet and caring. But under all of that I could hear the smallest hint of panic and fear. I could hear her say something like, "Stay with us" or, "Keep pressure on the leg." The second one was the most confusing, did something happen to some ones leg? That was when I could hear something else, that was not from the woman but rather from me. It was in my own head and what it said seem to just make me pissed at it.

"What, you too stupid to recognize the voice of the pony that is saving your life? You really are a dumass with is head in the clouds." I couldn't help but feel the rage build in me and that was when the memories came flooding in, and my eyes shot open. I could see the everfree forest trees above my and the night sky. My attention was then brought to the six mares around me and the growing pain in my right leg. But before I could even look around, my head was faced toward to the one pony that I consider a friend, Fluttershy. I couldn't help but smile at her but the pain in my leg was quickly in pain and bleeding threw the shirt I tied around it. I hissed in pain as Applejack had a steal grip on it and it was hurting like hell.

"Applejack please be more gentle with his leg." Fluttershy told to her and her grip loosen and the blood started to boor out. Applejack didn't want to hurt me again but I think I would rather be in pain then dead. So with one breath and chocked out.

"Applejack, no matter what,*cough* Do NOT let me bleed out. I still have a family to get back to." Applejack and fluttershy looked at me with shock. I then added with my teeth gridded, "I am not returning home in a body bag." That seem to give the conformation for Applejack to keep me from bleeding out and for fluttershy to give me comfort. After several minutes that felt like hours we had made it into the town, and the first thing I see is several ponies looking at me with shock and fear. I think I saw a gray Pegasus with derpy looking eyes about to loose her dinner. Finally, after what felt like forever we made it to a hospital and I couldn't stay awake as the doctors put me on a gurney and I pasted the fuck out.

Spike POV a few minuets earlier.

As I sat on the library couch, reading one of the power ponies comics I kept hidden from Twilight. I was slowly wondering what was taking her so long, so I got up and walked to the front door. But before I could even open the door I could hear some ponies scream in fear and some yelling. I throw open the door and step outside hoping that what ever it is it better not be a monster. But what I saw was a crowd of ponies heading toward the direction of the hospital. I decided to fallow to see what was going on and hoping that twilight and the others are okay. I rushed to the crowd and as soon as I was seen the ponies turned to me and bowed. I was confused until that I remember that I am the son of celestia so that mad me a prince. So as I walked threw them I tried to tell them to stand while trying to get past them. That was when my nose caught something that made my blood run cold. I could smell the smallest hint of blood and I could help but think that it was twilight or rarity's, so without any warring I sprinted to the hospital. Not caring for the ponies I past, one of my friend might be hurt or worst. As I approached the hospital I threw open the doors and to my surprise the girls where in the waiting room and all seem fine. That was when I saw Applejack and the amount of blood on her hands, they where drenched in it. To think that so much blood was on her and what caused some pony to bleed that much, it could only be from the everfree forest. But who was the one hurt? The girls where here and all seem to be scared for some one but who. That was when I remembered that Chaz was gone for the entire day and all of a sudden this happens.

"The six mare that brought... that thing in please come to the front desk." A nurses voice can be heard over a speaker and the girls and I walked to the front desk.

"Twilight what happened to Chaz?" I asked her as I walked behind her. She turned and before she could give me and explanation the nurse at the front desk caught both of owner attention.

"You the six..." She stopped right in her tracks as she noticed the amount of blood on Applejack. Once she did she shown her where the bathroom was and turned to us once more. "Okay, well the creature is stable and alive. All we need to know is what he is and we are hopping one of you know." The group and I looked at each other ant then back at the nurse and only one really knew what Chaz was. Fluttershy walked up to the front desk tiers still in her eyes but able to give all the information that she had. That was when I felt a familiar magic which made me question why she was here. But it was answered as my mothers ran into the hospital and made a B line toward me. My eyes met hers and her exception was worried but change to stone cold. She turned to Twilight and demanded.

"I would Like to Talk to Chaz."

Chaz POV, The dream scape.

I feel cold for some reason. I then replayed the events that lead to this, and the amount of pain that fallowed. My eyes opened and I could see and empty void all around me. I couldn't help but feel like someone was watching me and it wasn't my low self a steam that was the culprit. "You and I both know it is way more then self a steam. But there is some one watching." As he said the same princess from yesterday showed herself and she seem to be at the age of a teenager. And so bared a resembles to princess celestia only because of the wings plus the horn. Her hair was a cyan blue, her fur a darker shade of blue. The one thing I also noticed was a moon decyne on her dress.

"We have a guessed, try not to be such and ass hat Okay." I turned to myself while I said that and the princess seem to be confused on what I was doing.

"What are thow doing? Talking to thine self." I was more than confused on why she spoke like that but I could not give less than a fuck.

"Its something I do to the fuck up part of my brain. That being this piece of shit right here." I pointed at the person to my left where he stood. He just laughed and seem to ignore what I told him.

"Aww, come on you and I know why and how we came to be." The princess looked at both of us and seem to have a worried look on her face. I noticed and I could feel the other half smile and I could only try and fail to stop him from saying it.

"Don't Fucking DO IT." I say with a sharp tone in my voice but the other half's smile just grew.

"Don't worry Princess,-"

"Don't " I quickly say but he just continued.

"We are not as crazy as you, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" His laughed can be heard threw out the void. I could only look on in shock as he laughs his ass off. I only pray that owner deaths are quick and painless but that was when the princess walked up to him and Punched him. It was so hard he was sent flying into the void and wouldn't been seen for, maybe an hour. She then straiten her stress and turned to face me. She gave me a glare and I could only shrug.

"If you execute me make it quick." Her face changed as she seem disgusted at what I said. "What? You don't do that any more?"

"No, we do not exacute thous not deserving!" Her voice was loud as hell, and it made my ears ring.

"Jesus Christ!! You do not need to yell so FUCKING LOUD!!!! Fuck my ears!!!" She seem to be shocked that I yelled back. That was quickly changed to rage and I could only cover my ears.

"How dare you speak to royalty this way!!!!" I was getting really sick of this one yelling my ear drums to death. So using the only way I know how to deal with this, I yell back.

"I do not respect royalty so YOU CAN TAKE THAT CROWN AND SHUFF IT UP YOUR ASS!!!!!" Her face seemed to be in pure shock as I was staring daggers at her. She then realized who she was talking to and that I am not a pony. "I am not one of your subjects so I don't treat you like shit if you don't." She seem to catch on how I work and what I want as all she did was nod. " Now, if you don't mind I would like to be left alone." With that she disappeared and I couldn't help embrace the sweet sound of silence. But was interrupted by me walking up in the hospital, with and angry princess looking down at me.

I just sighed and gave her the 'What the fuck do you want look.' She didn't like that as her anger was raised and I could feel it as well. But I don't fear death or anything that would kill me so this did absolutely nothing to me. That was when she yelled, but not as ear bleeding as the other one.

"Don't give me that look and you know why I am here." I rolled my eyes as of course he had to go run to mommy. I the replied hoping to just get her out of here.

"He wanted to show that he could fight, but who ever thought him clearly never leaned street fighting." That seem to calm her down but only a little bit. I then decided to ask the one question on my mind.

"So why did the two princess want to come see me?" The write one was confused as she was the only one in the room at the moment. "Look what ever your name is I know the dark blue one was in my head or something." She then looked at me with surprise. But it was then focused on the fact that I do onto know their names.

"I am Princess celestia and the one you saw in your dreams is my sister. Her name is Luna." I nodded now having the two princesses names in I began to say.

"So celestia, I have a feeling that your son is not the only reason why you are here." I say as she turned to me and her horn lite up. And in a flash a light there was a book in her hands. I couldn't see the title but I got a clear view as she opened it, the title was 'Legends of Equestria.' I was more than confused at the title as the one question popped in my mind, 'What dose this have to do with me?' That was when I thought back to the time I used my spirit animal and how I only figured it out by accident. Sure I believed in spirit animals but they never where used to attack, only for heightened senses.

"Here it is." I was too focused on my own thoughts that I didn't realize that I was staring into space. I look to celestia and as I did she turns the book to face me and what I saw surprised me. On it was a old strawing of what looked like a Navajo person with a bow and Tomahawk. But what really got me was the name of the drawing and it read 'The Spirit Warrior. those who hurt the innocent beware.' I was confused until I then realized what she was implying.

"So you think I am this warrior?" I say as I look up at her, the look on her face said it all. " Let me guess you either want me to do something for you make sure I am not a threat?" The looks changed to surprise as I read her like a book in just a few seconds that I have sent with her.

"Yes, I want you to help Twilight in anyway you ca-"

"Hold on I have a request." I cut her off, rising my hand. "If I going to help them I want my house out of that god forsaken forest." She looked at me with confusion and I sighed. " I mean the everfree forest."

"Understood, anything else you want mr?...." I then realized that I never gave her my name and that was just embarrassing.

"Chaz Cooley, and yes I only want one more thing. I will only help them when I really have to, I have a home to get back too."

"Understood I will have all my best unicorns move your house. And as soon as you are free I have a proposal for you when you are at full strength." I nodded and rested back down on the bed the book was then laid on counter on the left of me. I Then heard the door open and close and with that I close my eyes and get back to much needed sleep.
