Spirit Animal

After spending what felt like only a few days in the hospital I was ready to go outside. My leg was fine as the bear trap only felt a scare, another to add to the collection. My shoes although dirty where still the only one I had, My green hoodie torn with several holes.' Son of a bitch I glade I have more clothes back home.' I think to myself as I leave the hospital room. But before I took one step I could hear a familiar voice.

"Excuses me, Mr. Cooley." I turn to see nurse Red Heart walking toward me with a clipboard in her hands. I sigh as she was one of the only ponies that other from the doctor would ask question.

"What is it now Nurse? You need a sample of my brain?" I say jokingly but her face was less than amused.

"How many times do I need to say? We are not scientist and if we were, we wouldn't do that." I just roll my eyes and turn to face her fully.

"Alright then what do you want?"

"I just need you to sign here and you can be off n your way." It wasn't much as they already did the physical and everything needed. I sign the paper and I was finally allowed to leave only to see the six ponies greeting me at the entrance. I laughed as I was expecting no one but that least someone cares. All at once all six had surrounded me in a group hug and I couldn't help but smile. The two I could feel hugging the most was Pinkie pie and Fluttershy. I smiled at both of them until Rarity gasped and pushed me away from her. I was confused and so where the others, it didn't take long for me to figure out however.

"You know, You could have just said something." I say and her cheeks turned red then she replied.

"Darling, That awful jacket of your is simple something I can't bare to get close to."

"Well if you know someone who could fix my clothes, please do tell." When I said that her eyes glowed like the memes you would see. I then realized that I may have made a mistake. With on warring I was being pulled by her with the rest behind me but of course rainbow had to open her mouth.

"Looks like some ones getting a make over, ha ha." I then looked at her with the most pissed expression a native can make.

"Say something like that and I will pluck your feathers one by one." Her face said it all as she fell behind the others. Her face was a mix of shock and pure fear of what the feeling of her feather being plucked she can only imagine. Applejack then walked beside me said with a stern voice.

"Sugar clue that was rather hares to say." I turn to face her my hand still in rarity's and say the most 'not giving a flying fuck' face I could pull.

"I know and that is why I said it." Her face was one for the books as it was just pure disbelieve. I couldn't help be smile like the joker after that and before anything else could be said I was then pushed inside something and before I knew it there was a measuring tape all around me. Lord what Have I done.

One Hour later.

I don't know what hell is like but I am pretty sure I just went threw something like it. One hour of just trying on several different pieces of clothing. I was only able to get out by letting rarity fix my jacket and my pants. It will take a while but at least I got free clothes for it. The other left half way threw the torcher and pinkie left a cupcake for me as the only thing there. I step out on the street and ponies all around me just seem to stare then look away as I notice them. That was until a mother and her son walked past me and only walked fast as they did. Right I am still the freak of the town that is filled with ponies great. That was until I saw Rainbow dash flying around with a griffon and that was not the only thing I noticed. The griffon was also anthro and only wearing sports clothes to fly around. As they landed I could see them talk about something and head off in their own direction. The griffon moved around the market and I lost sight of her so I decided to see what would happen. As I got closer I could see fluttershy leading a group of ducks threw the market. wanted to say hi but that was until she pumped into the griffon. Almost in an instant I could hear the griffon yell at fluttershy and that is something I can not just let happen.

"Hey, Feather Fucker!!" I yell to her and that seem to catch her attention allowing fluttershy to leave with the ducks. "Why don't you pick on someone who can fight back!" As soon as I say that the griffon flew over too me and with the most smug look on her face.

"Oh, and what is a hairless monkey going to do?" With that I delivered a left hand upper cut strait to her beak. Her head snapped back and so did she, with only one punch and not using my spirit animal. I knocked her flat on her ass with the biggest smile on my face.

"I am going to teach you a lesson." As I said that the griffon stood back up and readied for a fight. I then stood in the boxing stance ready to throw hands for the one I care about. She lunged at me, using her wings to but more a kick to the punch to the gut. The air was knock out of me but I was prepared for that. As she landed the punch I then but hands together and slams both down with the top of her head. She hit the ground hard but wasn't out cold like Rainbow Dash, instead she got back to her feet. With no warring I kicked her with my right foot but she had caught it with a talon like hand. I quickly acted by jumping with my other foot and kicking her in the face. But I landed flat on my back but she was also down for the court her face was most likely in the most pain. But that was when rainbow dash showed up with a pissed off look on her face toward me. I was confused as I did nothing wrong, well I swung first but she was asking for it.

"Why are you two fighting each other?" That question seem to aimed more toward me than the griffon. I stood only to see that the griffon was going to play the badly hurt card.

"Oh didn't be such a big baby they were only love taps." I look to see the griffon giving me a strange look with her cheeks pink showing threw the white of her feathers. I then realized what they thought I meant by that "Not like that! get your mind out of the gutter." When I finished that the griffon stood and said to rainbow dash.

"Maybe this town isn't so lame after all." with that she flew away leaving me and Rainbow dash standing there until she turned to me. I looked at where fluttershy ran off but as I thought she was no where in site. My attention was then drawn to the walking pride flag herself Rainbow Dash.

"So you mind telling me why you where fighting one of my friends?" She said as she gave me a death glare which only looked cute and not threating. I couldn't help but laugh at her poor attempt at trying to make me scared.

"First, I have seen scarier in that forest so stop trying to scare me." As I finished she just crossed her arms and pouted. "Second, That 'Friend' of your was about to do something that she would regret. And that is fucking with the ones I care about." Rainbow dash looked confused at first, but before she could press on the pink physics baker showed her face in between us.

"Hey dashie I have an Idea for your friend Gilda." Pinkie was more talking to Rainbow dash then me which I didn't mind. I was able to get away from the mind bending pony and continued to look for Fluttershy. After a while looking I figured that she was just at her home and not coming out for a while. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and as soon as I did I felt a piece of paper. I pull it out to see that it was a party invatison from Pinkie, not allow did this scare me but gave me a headache. When the Fuck did she do this and how I lived in the res most people try to pick pocket you. But are shit at it so how in the flying Fuck did a pink pony do it.

"Oh christ, That mare is going to be the death me." I say out loud and the surrounding ponies look at me with confusion and some with fear. I decided then and there that it was a good time to go check on Fluttershy hoping that she was okay. It wasn't long until I made it to Fluttershys house and I could hare the animals from the outside. Seems like she at least still caring for them. I knock on the door only for it to be opened by the lovable bear himself Harry. "Hey, Harry. Is Fluttershy alright?" The only answer I got was Harry moving to the left and allowing me in. "Thanks" I say as I took a step inside. I head up stairs as there was no sigh of her anywhere. "Hey, Flutters? you okay?" I could hear the faintest of 'yeses' deeper in the up stairs hall way. "You need a hug?" There was a moment of silence until from the door furthest of the hallway I could hear her voice.

"That would be nice if you didn't mind that is" I couldn't help but smile as she was the only one besides the others who didn't fear me. I walk into her room and with nothing being said I give her the hug that she needed. She was in a blanket and so enough we where both on the bed. I would hold her close and she would snuggle against me like there was no tomorrow. After an hour on two I left for the party Fluttershy staying as not to run into Gilda again. me however I can wait to show the feather fuck what messing with a Cooley meant. You stay six feet away form the ones I care about or I will send you six feet deep. I then arrived at the address to what looked like a gingerbread house, the sign read 'Sugar Cube Corner.' this is defiantly where pinkie lives. I enter only to see Gilda getting more and more mad at the small pranks being pulled on her. I missed something due to that hug but hey it was worth it. uh where did that come from? Before that could be answered Gilda yelled and head strait for the door where I was at for the moment. She shot me a death glare but again I don't fear death so that did jack shit on her end.

"Get out of my way Hairless monkey!" That was really the best insult she could come up with. Really I hare second graders with better insults and they didn't know cures words. She stopped n front of me and still with a glare tried to stare me down but nothing was doing it. She then tried something I wish never happened but I have to live with. So ever been kissed by a beak before? Well it is weird and it is not something I would do again. She broke the kiss and before she leaved she delivered a power punch to my gut knocking the wind out of me. "I'll see you around~" She walked pasted me while I still was catching my breath not after she took flight and the flapping of her wings where fading. The one thing on my mind was the question.

"What the Fuck." She kissed me then punched me in the gut. I mean I like a tomboy but that was something else something I was not expecting. After a while I got my breath and some need cupcakes I headed home that moment still playing in my mind. I only hope that none of the six are one to gossip about anything. My home was on the out side of town and was on a flat patch of land. I headed inside took off my shoes and falling on the bed closing my eyes sleeping the day away.
