It was a nice calming day within the land of Equestria ponies and many other creatures alike going about their day. In the whitetail Forest Fluttershy was going on a little walk greeting every animal she saw, but as she walked through the forest she started to hear what sounded like singing. "Huh what is that?" She asks as she listens more closely as she hears the sound of singing again as it sounded like it was coming from a child.

Curious about who or what was singing Fluttershy started to follow the direction the singing was coming from. After walking for two hours Fluttershy had finally made it to her destination as it led her to a small cave entrance big enough for her crawl through.

Curious about where the cave led to she started to crawl through it but as she does she noticed the deeper she went the darker it got. "O-Oh my i-it's getting awfully dark in here." She says nervously but soon noticed a bright light at the end of the tunnel which calmed her nerves and when she finally got to the end of the tunnel she was surprised at what she saw

(Lillian P.O.V.)

"There's a lot of very interesting info about Equestria and the lands surrounding it." I say as I sat on a chair in Twilight library reading books about Equestria, its history and the neighboring lands around it.

"Yeah not to mention some of the amazing books written by amazing authors like A.K Yearling." Sapphire says as she was reading an adventure story called daring doo and the Sapphire Stone as that just made me roll my eyes with a smile.

As we were reading Twilight door swung open as Fluttershy came in with a small but excited look on her face. "Twilight you wouldn't believe what I… oh um hello Lillian, hello Sapphire is um Twilight around?" She asks when she saw us in the library.

"Yeah she's upstairs doing some experiments while me and Lillian just came by to do some reading since Rarity and Applejack gave us some time off today." Sapphire answered.

"Yeah and from the look on your face and the way you sounded just now it seems like you have something important to say." I added as I wondered what she could be excited about.

"What's going on down here?" Came Twilight voice as we all looked up at the tip of the stairs to see Twilight and Spike coming down. "Oh Fluttershy it's you what brings you here?" She asks when she spotted the shy pegasus.

"Oh hello Twilight I came by to tell you that I found something amazing in the Whitetail Forest." Fluttershy says with excitement.

"And what could be so amazing that you had to come running straight to me?" Twilight asks.

"Well you see I was going for a walk through the Whitetail Forest greeting all the wonderful animals and other creatures that live in when I started hearing what sounded like singing."

"And let us guess you found someone singing?" I asked not looking up from the book I was reading.

"Lillian, don't be rude, let Fluttershy finish talking." Sapphire says looking up from her book and looking at me disappointed. "Please continue Fluttershy."

"Oh well it wasn't a pony who was singing but I followed where the singing came from it lead me a small cave and when I entered it the cave got darker the deeper I want which frightened me but then I saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel and when I got to the end I saw the most adorable sight I ever saw at the end of the tunnel were those cute and adorable blue creatures flying around what looked to some kind of garden."

As soon as Fluttershy mentioned cute and adorable blue creatures flying around in a garden Sapphire and I instantly put our books down and ran up to Fluttershy, surprising her. "Did this garden by any chance have trees growing fruit on them?" I asked.

"And those Creatures kept saying the same word like chao?" Sapphire added.

"U-Um yes."

"Girls, do you know what these creatures that Fluttershy was talking about are?" Twilight asks, walking up to me and Sapphire.

"Maybe but we can't be sure unless we see this garden for ourselves." I say while in thought.

After hearing Fluttershy tell us about the garden she found in the Whitetail Forest we decided to go check it out, but when we made our way to the garden the rest of our friends spotted us and were curious about what we were doing. When we told them about the garden Fluttershy found they started to get curious about it too since there was never a garden in the Whitetail Forest before.

"So how much further until we get there Fluttershy?" Rainbow asks a bit bored.

"Not that far we're actually almost there." Fluttershy says with a smile.

"So Lillian from what you girls told us it sounded like you and Sapphire know what this garden is and the creatures that inhabit it?" Rarity asked as walking next to me.

"Yeah I think we do but we have to see the garden to be sure we're actually right." I say before noticing Fluttershy stopping in her tracks.

"We're here." She says pointing to the cave entrance.

"That cave's a mighty bit small d'nt ya think fluttershy?" Applejack says looking at the cave entrance. "Do ya think we'll all be able to fit through their?"

"All at once no but if we go in one at a time then sure." Sapphire says answering Applejack question for Fluttershy.

"I'll go in first then." Fluttershy says before entering the cave then after that we each started to go in one by one with me being the last to enter.

As I crawled through the cave I saw how dark it was getting. "Man I didn't expect it to get darker the deeper I want." Just as I say that I noticed a bright light at the end of the tunnel. "Well that must be the way into the garden which means the others are waiting for me." I say before I started heading to the light and when I made it out I was surprised at what I saw.

Right in front of me was a garden with a water that had a huge pond filled with clean water and fruit trees all around the garden but what really surprised me was the many Chao that were flying around as the girls and Sapphire who was also as surprised as me looked at the sight before them.

"I can't believe it, it's actually a Chao Colony!" Sapphire and I saw making the others look at us confused.

"I'm sorry a what now?" Rainbow asked not knowing what me and Sapphire are talking about.

"A Chao Colony this garden we're in is a Chao Colony, colonies like these are in a lot of places but there has to be plenty of fresh water and since the water needs to be clean the colonies are always kept secret." Sapphire says answering Rainbow question.

"Okay but mind telling us what a Chao is?" Twilight asks now curious about what a Chao is.

"Well those little guys that are flying around the garden, those are Chaos, they're cute little flying bundles of joys who like to play and make friends." As soon as I say that the Chaos spotted us before flying over to us and greeting us with a smile. "Hehe and they're friendly towards those who are good and know won't do harm to them."

When Pinkie heard how friendly the Chaos were and how they liked to make friends she gasped with excitement. "Does that mean they like parties?" Pinkie asked with a smile. "Because if they do I would love to throw them a welcome to equestria party."

"And I should tell Princess Celestia about this new discovery." Twilight says with excitement.

"Hold on there ya two d'nt ya hear what Sapphire said this place was meant to be a secret now imagine what'll happen if word of this her garden got out." Applejack says reminding the two about what Sapphire told them.

"Applejack, right if too many ponies were to find out about this place the Chao's might all leave to find a new place to form their colony." I added.

"Oh okie doki loki I Pinkie Promis not mention this place to anypony else." Pinkie says with a smile before the weirdest thing I saw her do. "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." She says with a smile.

"You sure I can't tell the Princess?" Twilight asks.

"Well I guess it will be okay to tell her as long as she promises to not tell anyone else." I say before the Chao's start pulling us wanting us to play with them.

"Alright I'll let her know." Twilight says with a smile as we want to play with the Chao's and of course I can already tell that Twilight will be coming here more often to do some research and will probably ask me and Sapphire more questions later about the Chao's.

The girls went to look around the garden with Fluttershy and Pinkie playing with the Chao's along with me and Sapphire while Twilight was studying the garden and Chao's.

Applejack was looking at strange fruit that grew in the garden before trying one and was surprised how good it tasted while Rarity was a group of Chao's who gave her a flower crown while Rainbow was just relaxing in the water with some of the Chao's who were doing the same thing.

After spending some time with the Chao's and playing with them we noticed how late it was getting so we all decided it was about time to head back home. "Bye little guys we'll be sure to come and visit again when we get the chance." I said while waving goodbye to the Chao's as they waved back before we each started to go back through the cave one by one again.

Once we all left the garden we all started to head back into town and of course as I thought Twilight started asking me and Sapphire more questions about the Chao's of course Fluttershy also asked some questions about them too since she really took a liking to the Chao's.

"Seeing those adorable little darlings gave me inspiration for a new line of clothing." Rarity says as we walk.

"Well I'll be sure to help you with making them Rarity." Sapphire says with a smile.

"Andd' thanks to those little critters offering some of their fruits I can try to plant some of them back at the farm." Applejack says while holding some of the fruits she got from the Chao's. "And you'll help me grow them Lillian since I'm sure you know how too."

"Hehe yeah of course AJ I'll be sure to help you grow them." I say with a chuckle while rubbing the back of my head.

Once we all went our separate ways Sapphire and I headed back to our home. "I'm surprised that we would actually find a real Chao Colony here in Equestria. I really thought we wouldn't find anything like that here." Sapphire says as we walked down the road to our home.

"Yeah I didn't think so too. I guess being a displaced also means that things like that will appear and if that's really the case then I wonder what other strange things we'll encounter here in Equestria that don't really belong here." I added.

"Who knows Lillian but what I do know is that I'm tired." Sapphire says with a yawn just as we made it back home while I just chuckled before we entered our home to have a nice long rest.
