Three weeks had passed after me and Sapphire arrived in Equestria and helped the ponies defeat Nightmare Moon and since we didn't have a place to live our new friends offered to let us to stay with them till we find a place to live which we gladly accepted.

Today the two of us were at sugar cube corner talking about finding a place for us to live. “Since none of us have any money to buy a place, I was thinking we should find jobs.” I say.

"I agree especially if we're going to be living here from now on." Sapphire says in agreement

"Yeah I feel like we're relying on our friends to much with them letting us stay with them, I think it's about time we find a place to live."

"Yeah maybe we should find a two bedroom house." Sapphire says.

"How about one of us go looking for a house while the other one go look for job applications that are hiring?" I asked.

"Here you go guys. Two milkshakes! One chocolate, one strawberry." Pinkie says bringing us milkshakes.

"Um Pinkie we didn't order any milkshakes?"

"I know Lillian but these are on the house." Pinkie says with a smile before leaving.

"Thanks Pinkie." I say before taking the chocolate milkshake while Sapphire took the Strawberry milkshake.

"So back to to the topic at hand Sapphire I was thinking you look for job applications while I look for some houses."

"I think that's a good idea." Sapphire says with a nod.

After finishing our milkshakes, we left sugar cube corner and went our separate ways Sapphire went to look for job applications while I went to look for a two bedroom home.

As Sapphire was looking for jobs at the town board wall she spotted a few job applications that were hiring three of which where from our friends Rarity was looking for an assistant to help with cloth making skills. "Hmm I do have some experience with cloth making I think I might take that job." She says to herself before looking at the other job applications.

Applejack was looking to hiring hard workers that can help work at her family farm while at Sugar Cube Corner they were looking to higher extra help at the bakery, another job application was for a candy shop and the last application was for a fast food restaurant called hay burger. "Lillian might be great for some of those." After grabbing the job applications Sapphire head straight to Rarity boutique.

After arriving at Rarity boutique Sapphire entered the building making the bell ring. "Welcome to Carousel Boutique where everything is chic, unique, and magnifique." Rarity calls before entering the room and seeing Sapphire. "Oh Sapphire darling what brings you here?"

"Hey Rarity I just came by because I saw your flyer saying that you were hiring?"

"Oh so your here for the job I see?"

"Yeah me and Lillian decided that one of us should look for jobs while the other looks for a place for us to live."

"I see well if your here for the job than I wouldn't mind hiring you, but tell me are you good at making dresses or any clothes of some kind?" Asked Rarity.

"Of course I used to be a dress maker back home so I know my way around a sowing needle."

"That's perfect than how would you like to start lets say tomorrow?"

"Sure I think tomorrow would be great." Sapphire says with a smile.

"Fantastic than I'll see you here tomorrow at five."

Sapphire nodded before leaving the boutique to give me the news.

I was at Town hall looking for houses with two bedroom. "Hmm there's a couple of good ones, but some of these houses are very expensive." As I looked through the papers of houses that were available until I found one that was outside of town and that was free for a week before paying 100 bits for it. "Huh this might be worth the look and it's cheep too and theirs a few guest bedrooms too."

"Lillian you here?" I hear Sapphire called out as she entered the town hall building.

"Yeah I'm over here." I called out to her as she come up to me.

"Hey Lillian I got some good news I was able to find a job at Rarities boutique and I brought a few job flyers that you might like to see."

"Oh, really that's awesome and I was able to find a house with not just two rooms for us to sleep in but it has a few guest rooms." I say as I showed her the papers that shows the locations of the house with two bedrooms.

"Really let me see." Sapphire says looking at the paper. "Wow it's cheep and free for the first week and it's outside of town I wonder why no one bought this?"

"Who knows but it's a good deal so lets go check it out." I say with a smile.

"Agree let's get it." Added Sapphire.

We both nodded before heading to the mayor office. After we told Mayor Mare about the house, she offered to show us to the house.

After we arrived at the house with the mayor we were surprised to see how big it was before we entered the building. "Wow this place looks better than I thought." Sapphire says looking

"Yeah even the bedrooms looks nice." I say as I was looking upstairs.

"I'm glad the two of you like it we were afraid that nopony would ever take this place." Says the Mayor.

"Yeah why didn't anyone want to get this place?" I asked.

"Well besides from Fluttershy nopony really wanted to live outside from town, and we were afraid that if nopony would take it than we would have to tare this place down, but we're glad you two decided to take this place." Mayor Mare says before asking. "You two are taking this place are you not?"

"Yeah you know what after having a look around this place I think we should take it." Sapphire says with a smile.

"Yeah." I say nodding in agreement before turning to the Mayor. "We'll take it Mayor."

"That's good to know I'll bring the papers for you to sign." The Mayor says before leaving.

Later on that day, after signing the papers for the house Pinkie threw a party at our new home congratulating us on getting a new place to live. "I'm happy the two of you were able to find a place for you both to live at." Twilight says walking up to us.

"Thanks Twilight even though me and Sapphire appreciate that you and others allow us to stay with you girls we felt like we were relying on the six of you to much so we thought why not find a place for ourselves." I replied.

"Well even though ya' two may feel that way just know that if y'all are ever in need of help don't hesitate to ask us." Applejack says joining the conversation.

"Yeah." Agreed the others as they joined in the conversation too.

"Thanks girls we appreciate it a lot." Replied Sapphire.

"Enough chitchat let's enjoy the party!" Pinkie says before going back to enjoy the party as we all laughed before joining her.
