Chapters 1) A new world, a new start.
"Goddamn, well that hurts, I abruptly opened my eyes, to see plains of grass in my surroundings. Did I make it to Equestria?, I don't know if this is Equest-". I was completely caught of guard at seeing a sign that said: "Maretime bay" and Lighthouse up ahead.
I said to myself: "Maretime bay? Mare... time wait, I think I am in Equestria! I mean come on just look at the name of the town "Maretime bay", mmm but this is strange, I've never seen this town before".
"Somepony, heh somepony I gotta get used to that, well i think somepony lives here but I'm not sure". I approached to the lighthouse to see if there was somepony living there, I peeked through the window to see a mare with orange fur with pink hair with a blue tie preparing her dinner for tonight, I noticed here cutiemark was a pair of three stars with light a blue trace behind. What could that represent? i ask myself but my stupid ass forgot that i was peeking in bad position. I was so excited and nervous at the same time, I accidently tripped making enough noise to alert the mare
"Good job you dumbass", I said to myself now she'll check what was that noise
I didn't have time to react, as the mare opened the door, and saw me.
In that moment, I deciced to play dumb feeling confused
We were both spechless, me acting dumb and she couldn't process what she was seeing
"Whaa--at are you?" she curiosily and nervously asked
I then acted like i was hurt
I grunted in pain, "yeah jackass she'll totally fall for it" I said to myself
"Oh no you must be hurt...... but i have never seen a creature like you", she said insecurely said. Thinking i was hearing her, she aproached me while extending a hoof smiling softly.
"Don't worry you don't need to be scared", she reassured me, of course I wasn't, it was just acting after all.
Then I slowly extended my hand to reach her hoof, she is soft, also she's not afraid of me. I think this will go well
"h-hey I said still acting", "You can talk?" she asked, "Yeah i just didn't know what to think when i saw you, a pony talking".
"Is it that weird for you hearing ponies talk?"
"Yes, mostly because where I come from ponies don't talk or are either sentient like you".
"huh how strange she said, let's keep talking inside my house to make a better atmosphere" she said happily.
'Ok', was my answer
Then we both entered the lighthouse. And what i saw completely made my jaw hanging, she had a purple quill, the one twilight sparkle used to write letters. a picture of starswirl the bearded, a vitruvian man concept but on twilight sparkle body, grogar's bell, a picture of the chest the mane 6 opened with their keys representing each mare of the mane 6 elements of harmony.
but what completely caught me of guard was the map of Equestria, it only showed ponyville, Twilight's Sparkle castle and Canterlot, Cloudsdale, the Everfree forest with previous location of the tree of harmony. but the other kingdoms weren't in it, and then I saw a few colorful notes with the mane 6 names and cutie marks, but i noticed that there was no applejack note of her name and cutie mark. But this also made me think, am I in future Equestria, what happened to rest of it?
"Welcome to my ho"- she midly said, when she saw me gawking at the relics.
"Wow I--I never thought you would have a lot of research thingies".
"Well... it actually belonged to my dad...." she sadly spoke
In my confusion about her sadness I saw to my right a picture of her mentioned dad and his accesories, a pair of glasses, and a collar with twilight sparkle cutie mark which let me guess all of them belonged to him as well, on a pedestal table.
"jeez" i said knowing what it meant, i had no words but to say sorry for reminding her that
"I'm sorry little pony I didn't know". To be honest my experience with my lousy dad made me hate that word, but seeing this one was different, I completely felt bad for her.
"It's ok you didn't know like you said.." she sadly trailed
To not fuck up the moment more. "Let's introduce each other" I started to not ruin the mood any more
"Yeah!, i was about to say the same thing, I'm Sunny Starscout, what about you uhhh"- she trailed
"Tyler my name is Tyler Etten nice to meet you sunny",
But then i saw she was talking to herself, "there's an unknown creature in my house wow, I can't believe it!" she excitedly exclamated. Suddenly she smiled sheepishly, "uhhh what are you exactly Tyler?"
"I'm what you see a human", I said normally
"A human". "I've never heard of your species she said strangely".
"Well the thing is that-" , fuck would she freak out if I told her I came from a different universe? I didn't know if I should just say it.
"Look Sunny you promise not to freak out, If i tell you?"
"Oh why would i freak about?" she said a little confused
"ahaha" i laughed nervously well, "the thing is that I come from another world".
At that final sentence she just gawk at me, "you mean, yo-you-u are from another Universe"?!
"Yess-s" i sheepishly said
Then she got close to my face almost touching my nose, "!I'VE GOT SO MANY QUESTIONS!", she excitedly squaled
I sadly and humorous at the same time said, "you know, you remind of someone......"
Not knowing who this special someone was she tried not to touch the topic, just like I evaded her dad's death topic as well.
"I bet that someo- wait you mean somepony?"
"Yeah... I mean wait what? oh yess haha that" i chuckled nervously
In that I saw the clock was 8:00 pm, then out of nowhere she reacted, "oh no! I should be sleeping by now, tomorrow is the big day!"
"Big day?" I curiosly added
"I'll explain later, now gotta go to sleep, how about you stay at my place?"
I was excited when i came to Equestria, so why would i say no to that?
"Oh of course sunny" i simply said. "Can I sleep in the living room?"
Sure make yourself comfortable, now i have to go to sleep she said
"Oh ok Sunny goodnight then!"
"Goodnight Tyler!"
She went upstairs with an hand made elevator which is cool looking
And I just made self comfortable in a sofa wondering.
"What is this big day she's talking about?" I said while trying to sleep.
“You are useless”, a voice said.
"Wh-hat?" I carefully trailed.
"Who’s there?" I asked.
“You’re a nobody, a shame, a being who should’ve stayed dead”, the voice keep somberly trailing.
"Who are you?! I don’t give a damn you hear me?! I just don’t give a damn an-y-ymore!" I said while crying.
Then I remembered this is just a dream, but.... What that voice is was true, I’m nothing. I always got picked on in school, even though I fought back, what was the point?
Physically abused by my dumb urghh i hated that word. Just by doing small mistakes he beats me up, and the worse thing was, that he’s denial of doing so.
"Why did I have to suffer like this, WHY?!?!"
"Pant Pant no no!!.... Huh?" I said waking up........ "What a nightmare holy shit, good thing I’m still in Sunny’s home",
Fucking stupid nightmare, but it was true, I’m useless, pathetic, and nobody. Why I’m still feeling like this, I should be happy that I’m in Equestria......but those memories are still haunting me no matter where I go.
I look deadpanned to the clock it said 7:00 am, and at the same time I hear an alarm. Huh? Probably Sunny’s alarm, come to think of it I haven’t seen her room yet.
So I stood up and waited patiently for Sunny to come down.
"Good morning Tyler" she came down with the elevator, I look to see Sunny’s awake, "Oh hey Good morning Sunny What are you up to? I see you are excited".
"Today’s the big day!" She exclamated. "Buuuutt what’s this big day you are so excited about?" I asked.
"Oh, today is the annual show of canterlogic technologies to protect “us” from Pegasi and Unicorns which is ridiculous, because in ancient Equestria all pony kinds were friends".
"I was completely shocked with her words Ancient Equestria?, how much time has passed?, like what happened? To the main 6 legacy? Did the ponies fight again? Something must’ve happened so all 3 pony kinds got separated again", i thought in my mind.
"Aren’t you supposed to be the same species?" I asked, "if so what kind of pony are you?"
"How did you know we are the same species? and I’m an earth pony".
"Ah, it’s not hard to analize that", I responded lying of course
"Hmm she was thinking, yeah i know what you mean", she said.
"Oh hey come up here let me show you what I planned for today", the mare happily followed.
After I went up to the 3rd floor of the lighthouse, I saw a poster of canterlogic along with other papers. And I’m not going to lie this floor has quite the view and the floor itself was just gorgeous.
Then I saw Sunny writing something in a paper. "Perfect" the mare said, putting the paper in her saddle bag, we went downstairs and she explained all the stories her dad mentioned about the mane 6 and the 3 pony kinds being friends. Of course they were.
"I’m gonna show and prove them wrong, that we ponies used to be friends and can be again!"
"That’s really a determined plan", I adquired.
"I’ll come with you Sunny and help you, on your mission".
"Thanks Tyler that’s really thoughtful of you, the big problem is that, i don’t know if the townfolk will be scared by only seeing you, an unknown creature might freak them out. I mean.... No offense" she added insecurely.
"Don’t worry about it, you said they mostly fear unicorns and pegasi, which like you said is ridiculous, I don’t think they will be scared for seeing a strange creature," I said not sure.
*sighs* "fine" she said. "I just hope they don’t get too scared".
"Let’s just go" i said.
"Wait!" She shouted.
"Take this", she gave me some heart shaped stickers of Unicorns and Pegasi. Hm I thought to myself, looks like Twilight Sparkle and her friends legacy is still alive, at least in Sunny’s life, for all that i can see.
Before we went outside she got close to a photo in where she was with her dad playing, ‘today’s’ the day dad I actually have a plan this time wish me luuuck’ she singly said.
"Heh I guess I’m not the only one who speaks to himself".
After we went outside, Sunny had some roller skates on her hooves, and started to sing:

"Wait for me Sunny!" I exclamated, I tried my best to catch with her, she was fast as fuck with those rollerskates
So much to do
Looks like the townfolk are giving me scared and strange looks but they are not running away or anything, then I saw Sunny taking a mobile fridge with smoothies in there. Was that her job? I wondered

I saw how a filly and a colt were breaking down a pegasi and Unicorn piñata, which made her sad while singing, I could see why.

We both look at each other and smiled and started to put the heart shaped stickers of unicorns and pegasi around the town.

She then draw a heart in a poster that was making pegasi look like monsters, I smiled at that.

And then we arrived to the canterlogic annual expo, hmm looks like no one is scared Sunny. You mean Nopony? she asked
Yeah that, and they're just giving me strange looks, so we should be good.
After walking at some inches from a sign of canterlogic logo, a stallion with yellow fur and with blue hair , and his cutie mark is a yellow shield with an blue H, appeared right in front of us.
"Aha! There you are Sunny, just the pony I was expecting". he said.
"Morning, Sheriff Hitch, I see you brought the whole squad along again".
a crab and two birds saluted at her.
*Sighs* "What is it with me and critters? I'm like a magnet to them", guys come on, give Hitch a little space". moving just an inch the stallion sighed again, but was he ignoring or not acknowledging my presence?
Then he got his face up and finally got a good look at me.
"....Uhhh what and who are you now? and how so you're with Sunny? Is this one your sabotages again, Sunny?"
I was like what? what is up with this stallion?
"No, what're you talking about?, he's another creature called Tyler, he is a human". she protested.
"Well I've never heard of his race, but he better not cause any trouble around here".
"I was little pissed at that statement like, what does he think I am? a brainless idiot?"
"Hey I'm here you know, I'm not a mindless fiend" I angrily stated.
"Ok ok I get, just don't cause any disturbance" he said.
"Fine", I said rolling my eyes.
And in that moment Sunny decided to intervene in our conversation to not agravate things.
"So, what's up?"
"Oh, please, like you don't know. Today is the annual presentation at Canterlogic" he said deadpanned.
"Hey, I'm headed there right now-"
"No, you're not".
This stallion was getting on my nerves.
"Listen, I know you have come up with hare-brained scheme to sabotage it, and if you think I'm just going to let you walk in...."
"Hey, Hitch....." Sunny interrupted
-No. The stallion says.
"Come on", Sunny insisted.
"Good morning Sheriff hitch" a mare passing by greets Hitch
"Morning, Mayflower, Dahlia" he greeted.
"Sunny, I'm on duty", he exclamated.
Sunny then rises her right hoof signaling something.
Hitch groans, and they start a personal salute
Up high! Down low!
"Ok". hitch says.
Ha, I can tell from that salute that this two are childhood friends.
*panting panting* "I did what you asked for Hitch, she never left my side, not even once, a tired red stallion with a cutie mark of a radish coming from the dirt spoke."
"Who is this guy now?" I mentally said.
"Oh hey Sprout, you okay? You seem kinda weezy", sunny spoke.
"That's deputy sprout to you". Oh I already don't like this guy, arrogant fuck.
"huh? and who and what is this creepy guy?!"| he said looking at me.
frowning I said, "I'll be more than that if you don't respect me dEpUtY" i said threanteningly.
"Hey! I'm a deputy you should watch your mouth and apologize this instant!" he commanded me.
"In your dreams idiot" I spoke.
"what did you sa-", "can you guys stop arguing like children so loud?!" Hitch intervened.
"You sprout shut up, and you Tyler I'll repeat it to you don't cause trouble ok?" I just rolled my eyes.
"Whatever he started by calling me monster". I deadpanned said.
"Just forget it", Hitch exclamated.
"Fine, fine whatever you say "sheriff".
"Come on guys stop it", Sunny finally decided to intervene.
"Ok ok, so Sunny where we?" I asked.
"Oh yeah! she then proceeded to go to the factory".
"Hey! Hey! wait up!, I'm not finished!" Hitch shouted.
"Sunny! Sunny! We both know how this goes!, Every year you to try sneak in, every year I stop you". he protested.
"Look you have nothing to worry about, I'll just go into the factory, deliver my smoothies an-" Sunny was interrupted.
"Ah ah ah you can't even step a hoof in there!, my mom had you banned!" Sprout spoke.
"The nerve of this guy", I angrily said while clenching my fists.
"But I-" Sunny faintly said.
Hitch groans, "I'm asking as your a friend, not a sheriff, just.... please try no to play any stunts today"?
"Okay okay, I'll try", sunny said. "Thank you, now give your delivery to sprout and go home", Hitch insists.
Then a random throws a litter to the grown, "Hey! hey! That's a violation of code 33", he shouted and chased after the pony who threw the paper.
Then sunny proceeded to go but Sprout was on the way, 'bye bye' he said to Sunny, and she wasn't too eager to give her deliveries to that asshole Sprout. Then he laughed wickedly. Again making me want to punch this stallion's face.
But Sunny wasn't giving up when I saw the look on her face. "Hey Tyler, come here" Sunny called me, "Yes Sunny?" I asked. "I have a plan to get us both inside without being noticed". "ho ho ho I'm liking your idea Sunny, What should i do?"
"Just follow me", she spoke and winked at me, Ok looks like we are going to infiltrate to the factory unnoticed. It's game time.
The Canterlogic presentation was almost starting, me and Sunny managed get past security, and we hid behind the stage, which was probably going to start working soon. I cannot believe this, Why and How Pony kind got separated again..... it makes no sense, all this crap is just unbelievable...... "Uh Tyler? Are you ok? Sunny tapped my shoulders. Oh n-nothing Sunny I sometimes space out of my mind. Huh, well try not to now, the event is starting now.
Ok so what's the plan, Sunny? Just follow my lead she said,
Meanwhile
"Hey you know what Sprout? I think I finally got through to Sunny", Hitch proudly said to his partner. Then the lights go off to introduce the presentation of canterlogic. "It's the moment you have been waiting for, as the founder of Canterlogic, she's been keeping safe and stylish for the last 20 moons, please go wild the one and only Phylis Cloverleaf!"
"Thank you! Thank y- hey how are ya? Thank you so much! We here at Canterlogic are so thrilled to create products that protect ponies like you, from ponies like that!" she said repusively as crowd were booing in terror, and like I always say! To be scaredd iss? to be prepared she said along with the crowd altogether.
"Hey Sunny are you hearing this Ridiculous mare?", "yeah i know but let's just ignore what she says, it's irrelevant to us" she says whispering, we were behind the stage hearing all those ridiculous products introductions until, the lights finally turned on to show some devices for pegasi and unicorns with a test dummy.
"Alright Tyler this is our cue, come on, right behind you Sunny". So we both jumped in the test floor, Sunny pushed the dummy aside and I Joined her.
Phylis alongside the crowd gasped in shock of seeing the blunt interrumption of the presentation. Sunny was wearing a hoof made wings and horn with a poster with a horseshoe, wings and a horn.
"Earth ponies of Maretime bay, fear is not friend, but the unicorns and pegasi can be! Let's extend the hoof of friendship!"
"Yeah! All of the stories you all have heard about them are full of hooey, stop believing in those stories!" More ponies gasped.
Then a set of metal boots appeared and covered Sunny's hoofs, "what-? that is not what I meant she said. uhhh What is this now?" I asked worried.
"Turn it off! Turn it off!" Phylis kept whispering to a pink earth pony pressing a button to stop it but nothing happened.
"Aha ha ha so now can prevent an aerial abduction, with a new of anti-pegalite boots!" Phylis said nervously to keep to show going. Then some pegasi dummies appeared, out of nowhere from the ceiling.
"Piece with-ah Pegasi!, Unity! with-ah! unicorns!" Oh shit those dummies were taking her custom wings and horn, and now some of those dummies where after me.
One of them grabbed me by my shirt, so I punched a dummy and it let me go, then an uppercut another one. while Sunny was hitting one that was holding her hoofmade horn with her sign. "Give me that back! Ow!" Then they dropped the sign on her head.
*sighs* "Sunny", Hitch groans
I tried lifting Sunny by wrapping my arms around her body, I tried lifting her so hard, but these boots were really having Sunny's hoofs trapped. Then the ground started to move, I noticed how it started to flip making me jump out of the circle Sunny was trapped.
Then I saw a big claw lifting Sunny's entire body liberating her of those boots, while the floor was changing and there was a big red x on the floor.
"Ee-ee-eee-everypony take a look to our unicorn entrapment device!"
"Oh boy what is going to happen now?" As I say that, another claw put a helmet with a horn in Sunny's head, representing a unicorn, after that the claw dropped Sunny to the x on the ground, and a metal box appeared from the floor and trapped her inside with a siren making noise.
Jesus, Like how dark this future has become? I wondered in disgust.
I tried punching the box, but of course it wasn't working my hands were sore from the punches to the box. After some seconds i noticed there was an emergency button on the side of the metal box and I pressed it in Sunny was was free from it. While Hitch was telling the other two ponies who were in charge of the experiment to stop the machine.
"Toots, Sweets shut it down! sheriff orders, we are trying! It's fully automated means that it has to go through the whole cycle!". Another claw appeared and put wings on Sunny now, but this time the claw was holding her very tigh, and from my side. a strange device was shown, I didn't know what to think of it at first. But when I saw the claw, it lifted Sunny and started to spin her around the room and the machine started shooting slime balls at her.
"Peace with pegasi, unity with unicorns!" she kept shouting when the claw was still spinning her
"An--a -aand this is the Splatapult!", that bitch Phylis still announced
"Woaoaouau!, cease fire!" Sunny shouted Until she got a hit with a slime ball in the face almost knocking her out. At this point I was completely pissed, I tried to catch Sunny but the speed was so much, that instead of catching her, it sent me flying to the wall.
"OW motherfucker!" I shouted in pain
After everything was a shit show. Hitch saw the cable that was making the presentation work, so he pulled it off of the outlet, and after doing that everything went off, the cables, the splatapult, and the claw that was holding and spinning finally released Sunny. After that she was sliding to the center of the modeling floor, after that I got up and went next to her. More ponies gasped and some screamed with my sight, but nopony ran.
*pant pant* "Aren't you tired of being scared all the time? the truth is...we're not in danger, it's all a lie, we don't need any of this canterlogic junk", she expressed.
"Oh we don't? Do we? How to suggest we defend ourselves?, with huuugs and cupcakes?" She exclamated as the crowd was laughing.
"Who do you think you are you filthy stinky pony?!" I shouted completely pissed off with her statement.
She then cleared her throat and spoke: "Well and who and what are you to tell me how I run things around here you unknown monster!.... or maybe this creature wants to eat us all!" The crowd gasped in horror. "N-no wait what?! don't you dare manipulate this situation you stupid earth pony! you should be rotting somewhere in the sewers, where filth like you belongs!" I was beyond mad at this point.
"Hey that's my mom you're talking to!" Sprout shouted
"Shut your stupid mouth, mama boy". I spitted
"Tyler pls calm down enough of it already!" , Sunny put her two hooves in my shoulders reassuring me, "let me take it from here. Just imagine, if you had a friend who could fly, or a friend who cou- fry your brain with a single horn zap, or swoop down and snatch you away" Phylis interrupted Sunny and more ponies gasped.
"Sheriff do your job, Phylis says. Alright Sunny, let's go". "No! everypony needs to hear this. Everything you believe about pegasi and unicorns is wrong, they used to be our friends and can be again!"
"Hey we don't need any of that around here! Get off the stage!, That creature too get off already! Sunny you're just embarrasing youreself!" ponies in the crowd started shouting booing us two. "Come on, let's go show's over Sunny and Tyler".
"It's quite sad really, that bitch kept saying. Well where were we?" she says laughing nervously.
When were outside I sadly whispered to Sunny, I can't believe this didn't work, *sighs* They are like this everyday...Sunny followed
While were walking out Sunny went to the Smoothies car and closed the window, I followed her to reassure her. But then....
You two have any idea how many bylaws you broke in there? Hitch scolding us asked, I'm sure you're about to tell us, Sunny sarcastically said. "Actually for once I can't!. Because there's so many!" Sunny rolled her eyes while she was closing her business car, "and you Tyler I told not to make any disturbance! and what's the first you thing you did that i told you not to?" Hitch kept askig angrily. "Well actually for once I don't give a damn, because you all earth ponies are full hooey about unicorns and Pegasi!" I responded.
"And why do you care much this?! you aren't a pony". I was shocked in disbelief to heard that racism coming from Hitch, the sheriff that kept everypony safe. 'So what?! who are you to tell me I can't help a different race to achieve an important goal, like restauring friendship and harmony to this land". "From where I come from everything is a lost cause. So I left to search for a better land and this land which you call Equestria has a lot of opportunities to get restoured to how it was in the past!"
"You believe in Sunnys's ideal? Ha! you must be joking". he demanded, "no I'm not" I said deadpanned.
"And you Sunny I tried to warn you, I can't keep associating with somepony who causes breaks every rule causes and chaos wherever she goes, I'm the Sheriff!. "Exactly, other ponies look up to you, you can help! she brightly says. *Sighs* the law is the law Sunny and here apold it and keep everypone safe", Hitch says. "Aha! you just said everypony, that includes Pegasi and Unicorns" she said in sassy tone.
Come on Sunny what did you think it was going to happen? you give a little speech and what? Everypony just magically welcomes Pegasi and Unicorns into Maretime bay. You keep saying there's nothing to be afraid off then prove it!
"We were doing that!" I exclamated. "I'm not talking to you", hitch said, I was clenching my fists so hard to not attack this pony.
"*sighs* all of that pony unity stuff was a foal's bed time story made up by your dad", Hitch says. Bullshit I knew it was bullshit because the magic of friendship still exists, it's just missing.
"Like it or not this is the way it is and always will be". Like fuck off you have idea how much I hated that phrase i said in my head. "I'm the last friend you got in this town, you really want to lose me too?". I was like dude what the fuck.
"How dare you, you prefer more your stupid job that your own friend? you disgust me, you shouldn't even be called a sheriff, just an idiot", I tried so hard to swear in front of these ponies. "I'm just not gonna pay attention to your words". Hitch says
Then both of them were sad at this point, I was completely shocked in disbelief and disgust. Let's go Sunny I said we don't need to her more of his bullcrap.
The two of them sadly walked away. After that we saw a filly and a colt playing, after seeing a post depicting pegasi as monsters, we saw how the filly was acting like the monster the pegasi represented in the post.
Were both sad at this sight and the confrontation with Hitch, so we just sat down in a bench waiting for something to happen. "I wish you were here dad", Sunny sadly says. I couldn't help but to hug her, she was caught by surprise with my action. "It's ok Sunny I patted her back, you still got me, and I bet your dad was somepony to admire". I reassuringly said.
Then she hugged me back, almost crying, "thank you Tyler", so now we're both hugging each other and broke the hug after some seconds.
Suddenly I heard a stallion running in fear, huh? I said confused, Then I saw colt running in fear too. What the? Sunny's says confused. "Why're they running from?" i curiosly asked. As we got up from the bench we saw more earth ponies running away from something. "What's going on? What's happening", and suddenly an earth pony shoved Sunny to the ground. Sunny are you ok?" I asked concerned after we were looking up to see what's scaring ponies, we saw the unexpected.
"Hi new friends! My name's Izzy!". It was an unicorn. Well this should be fun
