Chapter Nine

Star knocked on Frosty's door “Frosty hey you in there? We need to talk to you, Frosty!” Star pounded on the door of the bar.

“Look Star you need to calm down you look like a crazy pony and not in your usual way” I said prying his hoof away from the door.

“I don’t care Blue we need to find my daughter!”

“Look calm down ok? I’m sure she’s fine maybe Frosty let her use the spare cot he keeps in the back.”

“*sigh* ok ok you're probably right it’s just I-I don't want to lose her Blue I can't lose her again” I put my hoof on his shoulder.

“I know I know”

“Are you two colt cuddlers gonna stand there all day or are you gonna explain why you pounding on my door?”

I shoved Star away from me “ Well you see, this isn't what it look’s like!”

“Yeah right and Celestia is just a cake enthusiast” He said waving his hoof.

“Frosty! you can make fun of Blue later. Is my daughter in there?”

“Who’s your girl?”

I pulled Frosty aside “Do you remember that mare I brought to the bar last night?” I said rubbing my neck.

“Yeah so wh.... oh I got ya and no she’s not here I saw her leave with the mail mare after you ditched her.”

“Ditzy she’s with Ditzy?”

“Yeah her”

“Thanks Frosty you’re a big help” I reached out my hoof to shake his, but instead all I got was a piece of paper “ What’s this?” I looked at the paper.

“That, is the bill for you drinks last night I want my money by the end of the month” He slammed the door in my face.

I sat there with my mouth hanging open “Ah......ah.....eh...ah”

“Come on Blue.”

I sunk my head in defeat and followed behind him “That's a lot of bits, hey Star I hope you're planning on helping me pay this I see your drinks on here too!”

“Hey isn't that a lunar guard?” He pointed towards the sky completely ignoring me.

“No, it couldn't be they are ordered to protect the princess 24/7”

“Well what other ponies wear dark blue armor and have bat wings?”

“It doesn't matter come on let’s get to Ditzys and see if Meteor is still there” I headed towards the center of town.
