Only Friend
A Friend
Load Full StoryNext ChapterYou sat alone in a dark, and gloomy cave. All you could hear was the howling of the wind from outside, along with the dripping of water from the ceiling. It was pitch black here. You could not see anything. Not to mention it was freezing cold. You sat down on the cold stone floor, your arms were gyrating over your torso, trying to generate heat. However, it was futile, you were going to die here, cold and alone. Your clothing was insufficient and thin to protect you from the elements.
Tears streamed down your face. You regretted ever coming here. You thought you could escape from your old life on Earth. But it seemed to have followed you here in some way. In the dead of night, Princess Celestia herself had come and offered you the chance to go to Equestria. You said ‘yes’ without question and left everything behind.
When you thought back on it, Celestia did not have the usual magenta eyes, they were a strange emerald green colour, nor did her voice sound as angelic. Her voice seemed a little deeper in tone. You ignored the warning signs that something was not quite right. You could only assume this Celestia was some sort of demonic doppelganger merely wearing the face of Celestia to trick you.
Indeed, this did not turn out to be the Equestria you knew and loved. On the surface, everything looked normal. However, you did find yourself reanimated into a cartoon character of a human. Thankfully, without the freakishly large eyes of Equestria Girls.
To cut a long story short, you appeared at the outskirts of Ponyville in the eves of the Everfree Forest. You rushed into town, it was freezing cold, the land was blanketed in a thick layer of snow. But instead of a welcome, they simply attacked you by pelting you with rocks and told you to leave.
In fear for your life, you had no choice but to flee. You were forced to try to find shelter from the cold eating away at you. It was late in the evening when you came here, the sun was setting. You were not able to stay in Ponyville within the warmth of Twilight’s Golden Oaks Library to protect you. For she was one of the many other ponies who threw rocks at you.
Thankfully, they did not give chase, otherwise, you could be dead. Not that it mattered, you were soon to die of exposure soon enough. The bruises inflicted on you by the rocks only added to the pain of the freezing cold eating into you.
It appeared… you spoke too soon. You could hear the sound of clopping hooves approaching. In the distance, you could see a pair of large blue eyes glowing in the dark. “There you are, I was looking for you!” spoke a pony in a familiar bubbly voice. You knew it to be Pinkie Pie.
“Brrahrrr… p-please… p-please..-l-leave me alone… and let me-me…. die in… peace,” you said in a low-energy drained voice.
“No!” she shouted, rushing toward you with her hooves clopping hard upon the stone.
You closed your eyes and awaited death. You were too weak to fight back. However, something totally unexpected happened. In one quick motion, you could feel a thick, fluffy blanket thrown over you, along with a soft mattress seemingly spawning into existence underneath you, the cold stone floor becoming a distant memory. Before you knew it Pinkie Pie dived under the blanket and wrapped all four of her legs around you in a gentle embrace. Immediately, your body was blasted by soothing waves of heat-emitting off her body.
“No! Don’t die! I want to be your friend! I’m not like the others!” she said in a stern voice. Her warm tears dripped down on your chest. You could see her large blue eyes looking at you through the darkness under the blanket. They glowed in the darkness like that of a cat’s.
Her tears seemed to have a magical effect, they quite literally healed your bruises and cleared up your frostbite. You can only guess Pinkie Pie is distantly related to a phoenix, or something. You could see this happening in real-time with strange images being projected into your mind. You hoped against hope that this wasn’t some sort of trick, or you weren't just suffering delirium during your final moments alive.
“Pi-pi-pi… Pinkie is-is that… you?” you said in a low voice, you could not believe this was happening.
“Hehe! Of course, it’s me, who else would it be, silly?”
“Oh, Pinkie Pie!” you cried, summoning the strength to hug her with both of your arms wrapping around her barrel. You made sure to take hold of her upper back, you didn't want to be inappropriate. Nonetheless, you, without reservation began to cry like a baby, wailing into her shoulder. Your whole body shook erratically. You could no longer speak, you were emotionally broken.
In response, Pinkie Pie wiped away your tears by gently stroking your cheeks with her soft, spongy feeling hoof. “There-there, Pinkie’s here,” she said softly, as she leaned down to kiss your right cheek even as it lay soaked with your tears. A wet smooching sound could be heard as she kissed your cheek, her soft, lightly fuzzy feeling lips felt wonderful as they briefly kissed you.
The coldness of winter soon slipped away. The warmth and softness of Pinkie’s furry body pressed against your bare skin felt wonderful. You literally appeared in Equestria with only a short-sleeved t-shirt and your underwear. However, you soon became quite concerned, Pinkie’s rump was resting directly on your crotch, you could even feel the heat of her marehood. Naturally, you could not help but get an erection, and thus your cock rose up to poke her rump through your underwear.
“I’m sorry Pinkie!” you said, your voice ripe with panic.
Pinkie giggled before she kissed your right cheek again with a wet smooching sound. You sighed in relief. It appeared she was not mad.
“Good night, Mr. Human. I’ll protect you,” she said softly.
“G-good night, Pinkie. Thank you, for everything,” you said in a low voice.
Whatever was wrong with this Equestria, it seemed Pinkie Pie was good and true to her normal self. Still, doubt began to creep into the back of your mind, that this was some sort of sick trick. But for now, you wanted to believe that Pinkie was being genuine. A small lit candle of hope burned in your heart that Pinkie Pie was here to help you.
“Human, why have you come here?” spoke a familiar voice.
You found yourself standing before Princess Luna, high in the lavender night sky. You appeared to have stood upon a cloud. The tall and mighty alicorn towered over you, glaring down at you with a harsh gaze, her mighty wings were flared out.
“I-I…. I wanted a better life,” you said in a low voice, turning to look away from her.
“Look at me you filthy ape!” as commanded, you reluctantly turned to look at Luna. The mare coughed, bringing a hoof to her mouth before she spoke in a calm and collected voice. “Human, I want you to go kill yourself. Your kind has no place in Equestria.”
“No… no… no… leave me alone,” you said in a low voice, tears streaming down your face.
“If you don’t do so. I will have the Royal Guard hunt you down, and kill you. I am giving you the chance to die on your own terms. The Castle of the Two Sisters is within the Everfree Forest. It has a nice big cliff you can jump off to end your life. The forest also has many–”
“Stop it! Leave me alone!” you protested.
“How dare you interrupt me?! Vile ape!” her voice boomed powerfully. “I now feel like I must join the Royal Guard in hunting you down. I will enjoy impaling you on my horn.”
You shuddered in fear. “Pinkie will protect me.”
“Vile ape! You have corrupted her!”
There came a flash of pink, and Luna was subsequently blasted away out of sight. “Leave him alone!” came Pinkie’s shouting voice.
You opened your eyes to see the pair of large blue eyes of Pinkie Pie looking at you through the darkness from under the blanket. You cried and buried your head into her left shoulder. In response, Pinkie Pie affectionately nuzzled your neck. “Shh. Pinkie’s here. I will protect you,” she said softly.
She wrapped her two front legs around your shoulders, and she cuddled you with the wonderful softness of her hooves touching off them. Nonstop, Pinkie nuzzled your neck and cuddled you. From under her loving affection, you found yourself drifting off to sleep. Except for this time, Pinkie Pie was in the clouds with you. She lay next to you on a pink cloudy mattress in the sky.
A large protective pink sphere was wrapped around the two of you. This sphere kept Luna away. Luna appeared to be shouting at you, judging from the anger on her face, but her voice was muffled. You could not make out anything she was saying. It was incoherent and muffled.
“You won’t hurt him any longer,” Pinkie said in a low angry voice, glaring at Luna with a psychotic look in her eyes. She even turned a dark shade of pink. However, when she turned to face you, she became a brighter shade of pink, back to normal. “I’ll protect you, my friend.”
The small lit candle of hope that burned in your heart practically became a bonfire of hope. This only caused you to cry all the harder. You buried your head into her shoulder and cried. Pinkie in response tenderly nuzzled your neck and wrapped her two front forelegs around you in a loving embrace.
It seemed, she generally was Pinkie Pie. Whatever darkness that had fallen in this Equestria, at least Pinkie Pie had not succumbed to it.
