Author's Note

I thought "I won't say I'm in love" from Disney's Hercules, would be a good fit for RD and this story. So please enjoy this little side trip/musical number. And let's see if RD will confess before things get out of hoof.

No chance, no way, NO

Rainbow made her way to the Wonderbolt academy where she landed and started passing in the locker room muttering to herself.

Spitfire, Fleetfoot and Misty Fly walked in calmly before freezing at the sight of their normally confident and happy teammate, agitated and seemingly lost about something.

"What's up Crash?" Spitfire called, causing Rainbow to spring to attention.

"Nothing mam. Just… eager to get some practice in." Rainbow replied.

The three moved to a bench as Spitfire looked Rainbow in the eye. "Don't lie to me. I know something is bothering you. And if you're not thinking clearly, then you'll make mistakes. And I don't want my team injured because you can't focus on the rootean."

After a few moments Rainbow sighed and slumped. "Sorry… it's just… I've been thinking about somepony… but don't worry. He won't distract me."

"He?" Spitfire remarked with a smirk.

"Pay up." Fleetfoot whispered, nudging Misty Fly.

"It's nothing." Rainbow reassured as she turned away. "Let's do some warm up laps."

"He's not Soarin." Spitfire said bluntly, causing Rainbow to stop in her tracks for a moment before flying off.

"You think she needs help?" Misty Fly asked.

"We're fellow Wonderbolts. It's a part of the job to help a pony in need." Fleetfoot pointed out.

The two looked at Spitfire who nodded. "Let's see about helping her open her eyes." With that the three took off after their teammate.

Song cue

Rainbow landed on a lone cloud that overlooked the practice field where the guys were practicing. She paused for a moment to kick a rain cloud to stop over Soarin and down pore onto him.

She turned away with a defeated expression on her face. Her wings snapped open as her teammates poked their heads out of a nearby cloud. With that she took off as the three took off after her.

Rainbow landed in a park with her coworkers close behind her.

Rainbow flew up to a ledge that overlooked a park with happy couples. She sighed looking at one that reminded her of herself. Her eyes narrowed as she turned away, tears fell from her eyes.

She huffed flying down to a statue garden.

Rainbow bumped into a statue of a stallion that looked a lot like Ray and blushed as she leaned against it for a moment before quickly pulling away.

Turning to her teammates she spat. Turning away she galloped away.

Rainbow slid to a stop at the edge of a cliff that faced Ponyville. She let out a sigh and smiled as she slumped onto a cloud Fleetfoot slipped under her.

The three sat a few feet away and hoof bumped each other. "Great… so… who is she in love with?" Misty Fly huffed as the other two face hoofed.
