Chapter 1: To Hurt The Ones you Love

A month after the arrival

I laid on the couch with S’mores. She was laying in my lap enjoying me playing with her mane. My fingers ran through her mane. While my other hand caressed her back. Her ears flicked listening to the sound of the move we were watching.

The part of the movie had a song playing in the background that fitted this moment with me and S’mores laying down on the sofa together. I believe the song was by Kool and the Gang.

Alex currently wasn’t home since he was out getting all of us something to eat since we were all getting hungry and also the fact that neither of us was in the mood to cook anything.

He had called a nearby Casey’s gas station earlier to order a couple of pizzas for us and left not too long ago to pick them up.

So it was just me and S’mores together on the sofa with not much to do besides just watching a movie and me petting her.

While I was doing so, she looked up and started to ask a question.

“Hey Quinn, when you and Alex get the chance,” she asked, “could you two show me around the town where Alex had gone out to?”

That was a question that I hadn’t expected her to ask me.

I wasn’t against the idea but I was still worried about it. S’mores I a pony one that is not from this world if word gets out either she’d be taken from us or we’d have the whole world trying to get to her.

But if we did decide to show S’mores around town, we could have her hide underneath something with a little opening so that she could look outside into the human world.

Alex did take her out for a drive out by the lake in his truck two days ago which she enjoyed not only for the view of the snowy forest and lake but also because of how she was interested in how Alex controlled his automobile.

I decided to answer S’mores questions.

“We’ll see about that sweetie since we are gonna have some precautions so that both Alex and I will have to take when we take you out to show you around town.” S’mores nodded with agreement.

“I understand Quinn. Alex told me about what might happen and if I do happen to get caught, he told me that you and he will protect me the best you two can.”

I smiled at the filly's current mood. She was feeling very secure being with me and Alex and was simply fascinated with some of our technology here on earth.

“Sweetie this world is a corrupt place, It’s not all about friendship here. This life is full of problems, this life is full of pain. Especially if you don’t follow the right path. And if you don’t know how to get back up when you’ve fallen. I don’t always get what I want but I have you and I don’t want to lose that.” Quinn said nearly in tears.

“Thanks, Quinn that means a lot to me, I may not have told you much about me, but my family wasn’t perfect, My dad was an abusive prick as you’d say it. I loved the hell out of him but he was a drunkard, My mom was killed in an accident in Canterlot. Let’s Just say Equestria isn’t as perfect as the TV show Represents.

“I worry about you S’mores, This world has broken me and I don’t want that to happen to you.” He said as another song starts playing somehow switched on his phone.

Summer has come and passed. The innocent can never last. Wake me up when September ends. Like my Fathers Come to pass. Seven years has gone so fast…

“Wow, I guess this was the day my dad died… this song was meant to play, seven years after his death…”

My pets started to become more agitated, S’mores noticed this and started to nuzzle me.

“It’s ok Quinn you now have me and Alex, and I am sure he’d do about anything for you.”

Just as S’mores started to nuzzle my chest, the two of us heard the doorknob rattle with it being unlocked which meant that Alex had come back from picking up our lunch.

He was carrying two boxes of pizza and a plastic bag with two bottles of water, apple juice, and a two-liter of Dr. Pepper.

“Hey S’mores, I hope you like one of the pizzas that I had ordered earlier,” Alex said to S’mores as he shut the door behind him with his foot.

Both S’mores and I sat up on the sofa as Alex put everything on the coffee table in front of the sofa.

S’mores, being the curious filly she was, leaned towards the pizza to inspect it.

Before she opened up the top box with her muzzle, she looked up at Alex who gave her the okay with a nod of his head.

She opened up the box to reveal one of the pizzas that Alex had bought for all of us. S’mores made an ‘o’ with her mouth and her eyes went wide when her gaze fell upon the taco pizza in front of her.

Alex grabbed a slice and offered it to S’mores who took it in her front hooves right before she took a bite.

“I haven't had something like this since the last time I went out to eat with Lyra and Bon Bon.’ She said

Right as she took a bite of her lunch and tasted for a moment, she gave a satisfied sigh alongside a smile.

Several seconds passed before she took another bite which gave her the same amount of satisfaction as the first bite.

“Wow, that was… that was very delicious Alex,” S’ mores said as she finished off her first slice of pizza.

Right as she was about to grab another slice, Alex picked up a packet of taco sauce and motioned it towards her.

“I think you might enjoy some of this stuff on your next one,” Alex said to the filly sitting in front of me.

S’mores cocked her head as she inspected the white sauce packet before her.

She asked what kind of sauce it was to which my best friend replied, “It's taco sauce, let me put some on top of your piece of pizza and try it.”

S’mores nodded and held out her food for Alex to apply the taco sauce onto it.

Afterward, she took a big bite and her eyes immediately lit up in surprise.

“Sweet Celestia that was amazing,” she blurted out with her mouth full of food. Alex and I both smiled as S’mores enjoyed her lunch.

We both got ourselves a helping and our drinks to go with it and started to eat as I put on a movie for each of us to enjoy.

(A Couple Hours Later)

While S’mores was in the bathroom to try and relieve herself of diarrhea from the pizza, Alex and I were discussing what to do in case of an emergency involving S’mores.

She had the shits pretty bad so the two of us had plenty of time to talk about the plans to help her out in case of something bad happening to her.

Alex started out by bringing up about her wanting to see what is beyond our place and the area around the house. This was something that we definitely wanted to discuss since she really wants to see what the nearby town is like and other places as well.

I talked about putting some blankets and pillows in the back of our vehicles whenever we bring S’mores with us whenever we need to go out to get something like gas or something else.

Alex also brought up what to do in case someone finds out about her and yaps about what they saw and we get the authorities after us.

I told him that may not be a problem like it is in Video games. But he still seemed worried.

None of us knew what could happen to her or even us if someone found out. And it got us thinking about the portal that S’mores had to of arrived threw could it still be out there. He said that may be the best option to get out of here fast.

I also wanted to see if any of my other Brony friends could help us.

Alex nodded and said that he would try to get ahold of him within a week or so.

Our conversation continued on for a bit about where to go in case we need to skip town in order to protect S’mores whenever that time comes and about some other stuff that we also wanted to discuss up until S’mores finished up with using the bathroom and came into the kitchen in the middle of Alex and I talking.

“Hey Quinn I'm finished going potty,” she said as she trotted into the kitchen. Both I and Alex stopped talking and directed our gaze towards the filly. She asked if both of us could play a game with her to which we agreed to do so.

Even more time later…. (Can You Move Along I'm Running All Out of Time Cards)

Alex and I were cleaning up, after a little accident that S’mores had while we were playing around with her. The two of us wrote down a mental note since S’mores got a little too excited during our tickle fight and wet herself on the rug.

“I guess tickle fights with a pony isn’t a bright idea, ay Quinn,” Alex cracked with a smile.

“Probably, depending on how ticklish they are and for how long you do it for,” I replied.

S’mores was in the bath getting cleaned up after her accident since she pissed on herself herself along with a bit on the carpet that she was being tickled on. Alex told me that the next time we have a tickle fight with S’mores to make sure that we don’t go overboard to the point where she has another accident as she did earlier.

Afterward, I got up from my hands and knees to stretch out and asked him if he could finish up with cleaning the piss stain from the carpet while I go to check up on S’mores to make sure that she was doing alright in the bath and if she needed my help with anything.

“Sure, I can take over with cleaning out the stain from the rug,” Alex said with a shrug of his shoulders as I turned to head towards the bathroom.

When I got to the door of the bathroom, it came open and hit me square in the face without causing any pain whatsoever.

S’mores walked out from behind the door with a look of worry on her face meaning that she knew that she accidentally hit me in the face with the door as she went to open it from inside the bathroom.

“Oh my gosh Quinn, are you alright?” She asked worryingly.

I nodded and said, “Yeah I'm okay sweetie, I'm not hurt or anything like that.”

S’mores gave a sigh of relief after being told that I’m alright and not hurt after she accidentally slammed the door in my face.

“In case you’re wondering why I was coming into the bathroom S’mores,” I started to say, “I was coming to check up on you and see if you need anything that requires my help.”

The filly gave a nod and said that she did need a little help with washing up a little bit. At the same time, I noticed the smell of urine was still on her a bit after what happened earlier which told me that she did indeed need some help. S’mores blushed out of embarrassment after she realized that I caught wind of the lingering smell of urine in her coat that was still there.

I picked her up to put her in the tub and as I did, she grabbed a bottle of shampoo for me to use for her coat. After I sat her down in the tub, she handed me the bottle of soap to which I put some shampoo on her back and began to rub it into her coat to rid her of the smell and to get out the dirt that she had in her coat.

I could feel small bits of dirt within her coat which felt as if they were stuck to her fur in one way or another. I also added some conditioner alongside the shampoo to see if it would help some more with removing the knots which I wanted to try and get rid of first before I started with the dirt. Removing the first few was a breeze since they weren't tangled up as much as the other ones became.

“Um sweetie what have you been doing to get so many knots in your mane and tail?” I asked confused.

“Nothing I don’t normally do she said.”

“What do you mean by that,” I asked.

She blushed so I decided not to pry

Within no time at all. I had untangled all of the knots within S'mores' coat so it was time to clean out the dirt from her fur. Pouring some water from a cup over her back, both the soap and dirt came out and ran down into the bathwater below. I repeated this process a few more times until all the soap had washed off requiring that I add some more to get the rest of the dirt off of the filly.

"Here you go Quinn," said S'mores as she gave me the bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner that she had atop her head.

"Thanks, sweetie," I replied as I took both bottles of hygiene products from atop her crown and started to apply some more to her coat to get the last bit of grim from her brown and white coat.

The little pony looked up at me and smiled, then said” Quinn There is something I have been wanting to tell you.”

“Yes sweetie, I responded with a smile of my own.

“Uh, Quinn you know how I have been following you around everywhere and asking you a lot of questions about your personal life.”

“Yeah I know you’ve been kinda clingy lately, is there a reason,” I ask already expecting the answer.

“Well I think it’s because I am falling in love with you,” she said with a hint of embarrassment in her voice.

I take another cup full of water and dump it over her head.

“Well sweetie that was kinda obvious’ even Alex knew you liked me, and more than just and he doesn’t even know he has a crush himself.

At this point, she had a huge blush on her face and she started squirming under my touch as I continued scrubbing her mane.

I decided to add some more into her mane which she wetten herself more while playing with another cup that was left here by Alex for some reason. With the soap now soaking into her mane, I grabbed the cup from S’mores and dumped it over her head, rinsing out the soap that I just put in her hair.

“So S’moresy why are you just now telling me this?, I asked

“Uh…” she said over and over again until I stopped her by saying that I was waiting for her response.

If you want the truth is I think I hit puberty this last week and I think I am going through heat… This bath is making me… kinda aroused, with you bathing me and really want you to clean my nethers…” she told me with a hint of sorrow in her voice.

“Well sweetie I am glad you're telling me instead of acting it out against me, but I really don’t want to make you any more aroused or myself aroused. It's just I really don’t want to hurt you.

"How can you hurt me by touching me?" she asked

“Well sweetie, you are too young for sex."

“No, I’m not...”

I cut her off. "S’morse just because you hit puberty doesn’t mean you are old enough for sex. Sure your body is able to produce the hormones needed but you are still not big enough let alone mature enough for it."

“Well, at least I don’t masturbate every day…” She said in a maddened tone.

“S’mores…”

“What, is there something wrong with me… that you just don’t want”?” She said now becoming even madder.

"S’mo…"

"Shut up, I don’t care what you have to say." She said as she jumped out of the tub and ran out of the bathroom, slamming the door on the way,
