Chapters Married to a Goddess 2: The New Goddess
Spike Drake stood in front of his bed, confused. The one thing he knew about her was that her name was Luna; the other thing he knew about her. She claimed to be a goddess. She sat there smiling at him for a brief minute on his bed in the old, nearly worn-down hotel room.
"Wait, you're a goddess?" He asked, finding himself shocked by such a sight as she began undoing the covers. It was there Spike got a better look at her. Long silver hair fell her back. Long luscious locked that seemed to cover her breasts pointing out at him, with nipples that looked hard to the touch. Spike found himself looking at them a second longer than he needed to. In comparison, he looked over her more, noticing her muscular frame than his body. Luna was a supermodel and far out of his league.
"Like what you see there, Honey?" Luna, the supposed Goddess, said with a light giggle, her voice sounding like that of an angel.
"I mean, yeah, your pretty and all… Are you a goddess?"
She smirked almost mischievously. At the same time, she was pulling herself out of bed. Her body looked more like a statue, an idol more by the seconds. Like it was not created by biology but carved from the stone itself. As she walked over.
"I can very much promise you, and I am a Goddess; I'm your Goddess wife." She said, leaning in, trying to look more exotic as she leaned in to kiss him. Her lips perched against his for a second as they would hold it for a good second. Then without warning, she pulled away, coughing hard.
"Holy crap, your breath stinks! Go brush your teeth." She groaned hard as she coughed with a light gag. Spike, pulled back somewhat shocked as he said,
"Oh um, sorry, let me go fix that up." He quickly turned around, headed to the bathroom, and proceeded to brush his teeth. Not sure what to think about the whole situation. He began brushing his teeth, staring at himself in the mirror. Spike was just a normal-looking guy, long unruly hair standing wild. He blames his bed head. With the stubble on his chin from a five o'clock shadow, Spike figured he'd shave in a bit as Spike began brushing. He looked over at his stomach. Spike had meant to go to the gym for a while. Though never finding the time as he popped his neck.
"Get a grip, man. Come on, What the hell happened last night? Ok, we're in Pegasus. You and a few pals came down here for a bachelor party with Jim and the guy's; we went out to drink and gamble way too much. So what the hell happened." He groaned while hitting his head. A rush of pain went straight through him as he let out a long groan.
He remembered sitting in the Casino, winning off a storm Lady luck on his side, while drinks were sent to him. He could remember himself getting overly drunk. Though after that, it was all a blur. His head felt like it was swimming in a fishbowl. While looking down at his hand, he saw the ring on his third index finger.
"What the heck," Spike reached over, trying to pull it off. Though found, the ring refused to bulge. The thing was stuck on him, like a bad tattoo. He grabbed some of the soap the Hotel had given him and tried rubbing it on there, getting it nice and soapy. However, it did nothing to help.
"That's not coming off, sweetie." He heard the woman's voice. Her head popped in through the door. Spike's eyes were unsure if he believed what he saw, but her head was going through the closed door with a small smile.
"So, do you want some breakfast, honey, or should we order room service?" Her head pulled right back out as he walked over to the door, a surprised look on his face as he touched the door, Wondering if he was losing his mind.
He stood there for a good minute, not sure how to react. A long deep breath as he resisted any urge to scream while he slowly creaked the door open.
"Hey, um, how about we go out and get some breakfast." His heart skipped a beat for a second as he felt his throat dry out. He wasn't sure what to say though Luna called out.
"Sure thing, I hear there's this place called a wafflehouse; I want to try waffles out. Are they good!" Luna called out, while Spike nodded,
"Yeah, great, you should try, um, how about you head to the restaurant, and I'll meet you there." He bit his lip some as he looked at her and noticed the incredible ass she was strutting; it was a shame, though he imagined she was crazy. A woman claiming to be a goddess, and Spike wasn't sure if he was going crazy, or she was crazy, and sticking your dick in it was contagious.
"Sure thing, honey, now please be good and get dressed; I'll meet you there." She smiled, winking that almost glowing smile growing wider as she began walking out the door. The difference was she was utterly butt-ass naked. Spike wasn't sure how to feel about his eyes twitching as he started running over towards his luggage case. Soon pulling off clothes, not caring if they matched. He just threw on whatever he could. While dialing his phone quickly, he almost imagined that his fingers were turning to smoke.
The phone rang as he grunted, "Come on, come on, answer the damn phone, you son of a bitch!" He groaned, hoping Big Mac would answer it, while he looked around, making sure that Luna wasn't nearby to hear him. The last thing he needed was for her to hear where he was going. Running down the stairs, His luggage in hand while Spike looked abound. No one was near him as he felt his heart racing quickly.
"Spike, what do you want? It's like noon, man, and I've got a hangover." He heard his friend and soon-to-be groom groaning hard while Spike imagined his head face deep into a pillow.
"Yeah, listen, do you remember what happened last night cause I have no damn clue!"
"Well, we were at the Casino, man, and you had a hell of a good night; I think you make twenty grand or something, really beat the house, then we started drinking. I think you left with a chick. Why, what's wrong?" It sounded like Big Mac was waking up while telling Spike what had happened. Spike groaned, feeling a pain in his head,
"Yeah, well, the girl seems to be crazy, Like seriously it's fricken insane, she's claiming she's a Goddess, and we're married. Sorry man, But I'm heading out early. Getting the quickest flight, cause I ain't taking a risk with someone like this." He bounced into the rental car and was driving off, a loud squeaking as he began heading straight to the airport.
"Dude, come on, it can't be that bad; she was a heck of a looker; what was it. She some hooker who stole your clothes."
"I don't know, man, all I know is I'm getting the hell out of dodge, and I'm getting a cat scan. Just trust me, man, But I'll see you when I get home. I swear I'll make it up to you."
"Dude, I, fuck it fine, but you be safe alright, and good luck with the airfare man, see you when I get home."
"No problem, man. Have a fun weekend, man, and stuff a buck in the strippers g-string for me."
"No matter what, man, I will do that, be free, my wild man," Big Mac smirked while the phone hung up. His hand looked down at the ring and muttered to himself. Spike nodded with a sigh as he started to drive out, leaving Pegasus, figuring that it would be far better to get out of Pegasus than deal with the Goddess, who claimed that she was his wife. He just groaned as he headed out.
"If I have to, I'll get it off, and I'll just find some pliers if I got to." He felt his heart racing. He knew that his situation was strange. Is he overreacting? Well, he knew he did, but he remembered what his uncle Mortan once told him.
If you ever stick your dick in crazy and they claim you married run, run hard, run fast, and don't look back cause she will try and find you, and you don't need a stalker to trust me, your Aunt Susy was going to be the death of me, and I loved the crazy woman. His uncle told him that his Aunt had tracked him down and killed him three days before. To say it didn't take scar Spike was an understatement, and he wasn't going to take a chance with any crazy woman.
He was speeding like the devil was behind him. Spike didn't care if he got a ticket; it would be far cheaper in the long run as he began making a turn and going straight to the closest Nevada airport. He couldn't remember the name of the place at that moment, but he sure as hell wasn't going to be picky. Heck, he'd take spirit airlines if he needed to.
Moving to the front desk, he tried being careful looking around. His heart was pounding though he imagined that he would be ok. His eyes on the ring for a second, thought of guilt as he left the girl.
"Are we married? Jesus, I can't even remember. No, it doesn't matter. I'll get on the first plane and get divorced; I'm sure I could do that, right?" he wasn't sure, but Spike knew he just needed to get right out of here right then and there.
The old man just in front of him smiled with a slight cackle. A scar over his eye that made Spike think of a lightning bolt smirked; "Good sir, it looks like you're trying to run from a woman? Am I wrong?"
"Well, in a way, I guess, it's kind of a weird story," Spike added while trying not to look freaked out.
"Oh, trust me, I know, been married for a long time myself. My wife is never happy with me. I like pretty girls. Though we keep ourselves together." He chuckled while patting Spike's arm.
"Yeah, well, I barely know this girl."
"Heh, those make the best kind. A challenge and something you never forget. Cause they'll always know how to surprise you, I always say, if you marry a girl you don't know, you'll always have an adventure cause you never know what's next." He smirked with a wink as he gave a small chuckle.
"Yeah, well, I don't think it's going to be like that."
"Trust me, the old gods, and I should know they are cruel; some have a sick sense of humor, and others just here for a good time. Trust me, and it's nothing to worry about." He laughed while shaking Spike on the hand, a bit more forceful though Spike couldn't help but feel a shock running through his hand at that.
"I guess, but…."
"No buts, your young; have an adventure in life. It's what I've done with my kids. When they were old enough, I sent them out, had fun seeing the world, and made friends. Heck, adventure is everywhere." He chuckled more as a woman bounded over; walking by, he snuck a glance checking out her finely shaped ass.
"Hmm, adventure comes by when you least see it, that's right." He admired the exterior.
"Watch it, old man; you said you were married."
"Married, but not dead. As I said, adventure calls us all. Besides, Juno knows me too well, and I love the gal, even if I've got a gypsy soul. Hint, I keep it in my back pocket."
"I don't think people like being called Gypsy's."
"Eh, fuck em, I'm too old and set in my ways besides, ever spent a night with a gypsy, best fuck you'd ever had, they can do things that would make your toes curl. Then when you make them moan, it's like angels, though fewer wings. Never bound to one place traveling and living their life to the fullest." He gave him another pat while a voice called out.
"Mr. Thursday, you're flight should be ready soon."
"Hmm, thank you, ma'am, and please call me Jup; all my friends do." He smirked while looking back at Spike. Who wasn't sure what to say with the conversation.
"Never say no to adventure even when the moment calls; embrace it, cause you never know when the end arrives. Also, never deny a chance to lay with a woman, cause the next one might be your last." He smirked while heading off, following the flight attendant.
Spike went to the front desk. Seeing that the line had cleared away, he headed over to the Attendant while feeling his heart racing even further.
"Sir, is there something you'd like." The older black woman said, clearly looking like she'd been at the desk longer than she'd like to be, but knew she needed to make a paycheck.
"Um, ma'am, I'm going to need to catch an early flight back to Ohio, specifically anything that can get me there close by tomorrow night." He turned his head, clearly trying not to look suspicious at all, as the older woman watched him.
"May I see your ticket."
"Oh here," he reached over, pulling it out of his back pocket, handing it over. The Attendant looked at it for a long minute, Too long if Spike had anything to say about it.
"You're not due to leave on Monday."
"I know, but, well, it's an emergency, and I need to get out of— I just need to get home, ok." He muttered while trying to keep a smile though he felt as though someone was watching him. Like at any moment, someone was going to stick a knife right into his back. There was an extended sense of dread coming back to him that would not change. The Attendant nodded.
"Fine, since it's an emergency, I'll let it pass, we've got a plan heading off to Ohio in about an hour, but it'll cost you. The ticket exchange will cover it, but you're going to need about five hundred dollars." She let out a long sigh as she moved over, clicking on the computer at a speed that told Spike not to waste his time; otherwise, she might try and screw you over just for shits and giggles.
"No problem, up, let me grab my wallet." He reached over, pulling the cash out, seeing there was a few extra bills there, and found himself giving a slight thank you as he muttered,
"Pegasus, you are the weirdest place on earth."
"Don't I know it comes, on before whatever the heck is happening gets worst." She handed him the ticket.
"Your plane will arrive at terminal 12, be there, and tickets are nonrefundable."
"Got it, and I won't fuck up."
"Watch your language; there are kids around here, smartass." She pointed over towards the direction he needed to go, and Spike was off.
The plane was crowded, but hanging in couch class was never fun. It smelled the noise was going off, children screaming. It was beyond the norm for a plane ride. While leaning back, Spike's side imagined he'd watch a movie get some sleep, and forget about Pegasus. Just go back to work. Head to Big Mac's wedding and get drunk. Strike that, and Spike imagined he would never drink for as long as he lived.
He sat on the plan leaning back, his eyes closed, and maybe he'd ask the stuartist to get him a pillow, perhaps a drink: A nice coke while he got ready for his trip home. Imagining he would never see that mysterious Luna again who claimed she was a god, and he could go back to everyday life. Being single, working, and just enjoying his simple life.
He was ready to get some sleep, even grabbing some earplugs and a blindfold when he leaned back for the eight-hour flight to be over. That was when he heard a whisper against his ear, with hot fainted breath.
"Honey, I thought we were going to meet at Waffle's house?"
His eyes widened, ripping the blindfold off as he turned his head around, Seeing Luna sitting right next to him wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans. The smile plastered on his face. He found himself doing the only thing he could do and was let out a scream.

Well here's an idea originally it wasn't going to exist, but I was so unable to come up with something for the original Married for a Goddess 2, then I thought what if I take the premise and do it with new characters have a random joe, wake up to a married to a goddess and what shenanigans with the only rule being the goddess had to be different and new personality. So well here's the result.

Chapter 2: How I met your Goddess
Spike sat there screaming for a good minute while looking over at Luna, who sat there with a goofy relaxed smile on her face. Spike wasn't sure how to even react to watching her for a second while the flight attendant who just rolled her eyes came over.
"Sir, you need to be quiet. Is there something going on?" She looked like she was about to snap at him, which only caused Spike to quiet down as he looked back at Luna, who gave a gentle wave for a minute.
"Ma'am? Can you see her?" He was pointing over towards Luna; the Flight attendant looked down at the seat, though she managed to see nothing for her case instead of seeing the Woman.
"There’s no one there? Is there something wrong? Do you need a doctor?” The flight attendant, who Spike realized the name was Jenny from her name tag, eyed someone in the back and let out a light smile.
“No, it’s fine. I am so sorry, um, could I get some scotch? I think I’m getting a little air scared.” His pun only earned a light groan from Jenny, who handed him a small plastic cup; at this point, Spike imagined she would have a few glasses herself when she was done. Spike looked back towards Luna, who just smiled more as she leaned around the seat pulled back gently. The plane bounced for a second from turbulence as She began leaving, heading off to another passenger.
“What are you doing here? No How did you get in here?” He quickly asked, watching Luna, who exclaimed,
“Well, When you didn’t arrive at Waffle house, I figured I’d pop up right next to you. So, where are we going? Is this our Honeymoon?” She looked excited while looking around the plane.
“No, I’m heading home; you’re getting off the plane. What is this? Are you stalking me?” Spike asked, trying to find an excuse.
“I’m a goddess, and it wasn’t hard to find you, honey.” She leaned in, a slight smile on her face as her hands caressed his chest. “It’s so nice to meet you, babe.” She giggled as she thought of it. Spike wasn’t sure how to react to this at all while he leaned in.
“Fine, you’re a goddess, but if that’s true? I mean, What the heck are you? Cause I’ve never met a god before. What are you a goddess of?”
Luna smirked while she stood up and exclaimed,
“I’m the Goddess of Love and life. That’s what I am, and I roam the world to give life to others and let those find the Love that they need.” Luna giggled more as she gave a slight spin. No one seemed even to pay attention to the Woman, while Spike found himself hardly believing this.
“Really? Prove it show me that you are a god right now.”
“I mean, I did just appear on a plane around people, darling but fine, I’m sure I can issue you some proof.” She smiled more as she tilted her head and started looking around. At the same time, she got up, standing before everyone. She began walking. Her t-shirt and loose shorts began to transform as a beautiful white dress melded around her body. The cloth was seethrough as Spike began to rub his eyes, unsure why no one else was even seeing this. A fantastic sight as he watched her stand before a woman.
“This woman here’s name is Harshwinny, she’s heading home to give birth, She’s three weeks from giving birth, and Harshwinny wants to be around her family when she does but now.”
Luna quickly snapped her finger with a long moment of pause. Then without warning, the Woman began screaming, a loud moan as she let out a hard.
“Oh god, I think my water just broke!” there was a moment of pause as they watched everything happen. Spike is suddenly taken aback. In contrast, they watched as the Woman on the other side of the room screamed. The passengers being their usual selves, Children were crying. Men are running away. The flight attending asked if there was a doctor around.
Luna’s smile reached far and wide as she said,
“Do you believe me now that I’m a goddess, honey?” Her hands reached over, caressing his pants gently. Spike wasn’t sure what to say, his heart racing as he watched everyone running over to the screaming Woman giving birth.
“I mean, it could be a coincidence, that's all. I mean, it's.”
“Honey, do you want me to do something else cause I’m willing to. Maybe I could make two people suddenly want to screw after they fall in Love.” She leaned in, kissing his neck as she smiled more; Spike found himself shivering as he shook his head.
“No, never mind, I believe you; you’re a goddess.” He gave off a light chuckle as Luna smiled more,
“I’m so glad you understood, honey.” She leaned in, hugging him. Her dress turned back to a plain white t-shirt and jeans as she leaned back.
The attendant looked back at her. Slightly confused as she realized Luna was there.
“Oh miss, is there anything you’d like me to get you?”
“Oh, nothing much could you give my handsome husband and me some peanuts?” she giggled more, though Spike sat there laughing nervously, not sure what he had gotten himself into.
“Ahh, I’m sure I can do that, and congratulations.” The small bags were handed over while the attendant headed off. Oddly, it seemed as though the flight attendent was in a better mood even though a woman not far from them was giving birth, letting out a blood-curdling scream.
“She seems nice, and It’s too bad the woman she loves is currently cheating on her.”
“Wait, what? How do you even know?”
“Honeybuns, I’m a goddess; these are things I know when you in my department. My job is to see into the love lives of others and find who they’re meant to be with.”
“Well, I guess there’s someone out there for everyone, huh?” He asked, looking somewhat curious and wondering how it might be like looking through her eyes.
“Sadly no, some people… Some people just don’t get that and end up alone. It’s the sad truth. But people can go their whole life and never find their true Love. It leaves them bitter, but it happens. But I help them find it. It’s up to them to put the effort to try and find the right person.”
“That's rough.”
“It can be, but that's life. It’s sad, but that's what I was taught while working for Cupid.”
“Cupid, but you said you’re a goddess of Love. Doesn’t that mean your over well, the little angel in a diaper?” Spike asked, causing Luna to laugh more,
“Oh wow, that still goes on; I swear he hates how you humans depict him. But no, Cupid is higher, well was a higher rank god, we’re now equal rank. But I was a simple minor love goddess, pretty much his assistant. But after some events, well, I got a promotion to a living goddess, and the love goddess part stuck on.”
“Well, I guess that's. Wait, ok, and please explain how did you get a promotion to be a new god?” Spike shook his head while wondering more,
“Well, simply, the last God of life was killed, and Someone has to take his place; as per tradition, one god dies, another one takes their place.” Luna giggled more as Spike sighed, unsure about all this but somewhat understanding it.
“God is, one god kicked the bucket, and you took over. But I have to ask… Why me? Why did you marry me? How did that happen?”
“Oh, I can answer that; it’s a funny story.” There was a bubbly tone in her voice at this, like she’d wanted to tell him this entire time, as she raised her hand. Her fingers glowed as she started making a circle. The small tv for his inflight movie began turning on flickering as it began to show… Well himself.
“Wait, how you are… Never mind goddess.” Spike pushed the questions off, as he figured it would lead to more questions he wasn’t ready to ask. Spike turned, watching himself on the screen.
Spike was drinking, a cocky grin on his face as he watched the cards turn, the crowd around him cheering more.
“How damn I’m a roll, lady luck must be on my side.” The moment he saw himself hitting twenty-one. He turned around, pulling his chips in as he took another swig of his drink. He cracked his neck as Big Mac patted him on the side.
“Dude, I say we get out of here; we’re up like ten grand. We don’t need to get kicked out.”
“But come on, dude, we’re on a roll. We’ve got plenty of time. Beat the house.” Spike responded, sounding beyond cocky. That shit-eaten grin on his face while his best friend shook his head.
“Yeah, well, it takes one bad roll, and we’re out on our asses.”
“Maybe, but hey, doesn’t Elvis always say If I wind up broke, Oh well, cause I had a heck of a time.”
“It’s swinging time, and yeah, say that when we need to call Fluttershy to pick our broke butts up,” Big Mac added while Spike puffed it off.
“Fine, but let's get some drinks. I gotta get you one of them, fancy strippers.” He chuckled while patting his oldest pal on the back.
“Dude, you think that would be a good idea? I mean, I’m getting married.”
“Big Mac, it’s a stripper, and you're not going to be sleeping with the girl, just a lap dance, Besides what the worst that could happen.” Spike and Big Mac walk off while heading out of the casino a pocket full of cash and ready for more fun on this night. After all, it’s their last night of pure freedom for one of them.
The television soon showed a flash of static before turning over to a bar, someplace Spike couldn’t recognize through the inside of the video. Spike saw him and Big Mac drinking. The girls walk around wearing little to no clothes and a little too much make-up. Some dancing and hanging around older men. A wide smile while Spike watched the rest of them.
“Woah boy, you don’t see girls like this around.” Spike chuckled more, clearly taking another shot, Drinking off a storm, a smirk on his face while.
“Yeah, well, maybe you should cut back on the drinking man. You’ve had a good bit.”
“Nah, nothing wrong with a few. Besides, someone got to celebrate my best friend getting hitched. Finding the one you’d love.” He smirked with a laugh as he looked around.
“Yeah, though still, we should cool it down some. I don’t want you getting into any trouble.”
“I’ll be fine, besides. I just want to live one more day.” He looked off for a second though Spike wasn’t smiling there.
“You know I’m gonna miss you, man.” There was a sadness in Spike’s voice for a second, though. He wasn’t sure if it was from the drinking or purely genuine for the longest time.
“What the heck do you mean, man? I’m just getting married; I’m not moving off?”
“Yeah, though I guess it won’t be the same, your off getting married. Moving on, while me… I’m still here if that makes sense. You’re like a brother, more than my brother. Doing everything together. Like remember when we were in high school, and we got that cow on the roof of Principal Morris house.”
“Damn, how could I forget. The old fart was pissed for like a month, and I think he’s still trying to figure out how it got up there.” Big Mac laughed more while hitting his shoulder.
“Yeah, though you’ll be heading off moving on with your life, and I don’t think we’ll ever have wild tales like that. You’re moving on. I just feel like I’m being left behind.”
“Hey, doesn’t mean you’re going to be forgotten. Your my best man, and not like you’ll forget where I live.”
“I guess your right. But still, I’m going to miss these nights. Us hanging out drinking, flirting with girls, you’re probably one of my best wingmen.”
“Thanks, You know it’s not the end, and besides, I’m sure you’ll find someone out there that's meant for you.”
“Nah, I’m not special; who would want to be with some dick like me. Besides, In some cases, I feel better being single… I think.” More dought in the Past Spike’s voice as he took another drink. Big Mac shook his head and took the glass from him.
“I think you’ve had way too much, man. So get yourself some water.”
“Fine, though only if you get a lap dance from the pretty girl over there.” Pointing off to a pale-skinned Raven hared Woman who danced her glasses flashing against them.
“Fine, give me a few bucks to pay the girl then, and get some damn water partner.” Big Mac patted his shoulder, more worried about his friend than anything.
“Fine, but I swear I’m not drunk. I could still take anyone under the table.”
Big Mac took a few singles and twenties, his eyes on the Pale woman; while Spike sat back, he turned towards the bartender, a fine-looking girl with a bit of a plump face wearing all leather and red hair.
“Mind if I get a shot of Big Mac.” He imagined it wouldn’t hurt him getting another shot.
“Sure thing, sweetheart.” She moved over, pouring him another drink.
There, a familiar figure came over, Luna, who was wearing a white blouse and a top that gave away too much cleavage but hid enough that no one would mistake her as a stripper there. Who sat next to Spike.
“Something wrong there, sweetheart?” Luna seemed giddy as she looked at the young man. Her eyes seemed to turn away, looking back somewhere. However, he turned back towards Spike as he sighed.
“Well, best friends are getting married, and I feel a bit lonely. Though hey, I’m here and might be over there.” His voice sounded a bit more slurred while taking another long swig.
“Oh dear, that sounds horrible. No one should be feeling lonely.” She moved in closer, and a hand raised as she asked the bartender.
“Ma’am, could I possibly get something sweet?” The bartender nodded, handing over a fizzy drink that bubbled without much of a thought while Luna took a drink. Her eyes were on it almost nervously as she poked and prodded it before finally taking a sip.
“Ohh, this is so good, what's it called?” but before Luna could get the answer, the bartender had left, taking care of another patron.
“It’s fine, and I think she just got you a sugary drink. So it’s not much.” Spike chuckled, taking another drink. “So what's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this.” He flirted more though his body was swaying more than anything.
“Oh, It’s my first time here, and I wanted to see what you people are like.” She gave a more broad smile as she took another drink.
“Wow, this doesn’t taste like anything from home, and it's amazing.”
“Heh, well, it’s good to know. By the way, I’m Spike, Spike Drake.”

“Crap, nothing but crap. Oh well.” He erased what was written, finding it wasn’t even worth keeping. Spike decided to get something to drink as he left the room. He looked around, seeing everything was back to normal—a sigh of relief as he walked back into the kitchen.
He grabbed a drink and turned around to see Luna sitting in the living room with the television on as her eyes were glued to the screen. He chuckled, watching what was being played, seeing her watching an Anime.
“Like what you are seeing?” He asked with a slight chuckle.
“Yeah, it’s great; I swear you humans come up with some of the most interesting things,” Luna said, watching the show with much delight.
“I can imagine. I think it’s one of my favorite.” Spike chuckled while bouncing onto the chair while falling. Luna bounced in delight, squeaking with a smirk as she lifted her legs. Spike smirked more.
“But yeah, It’s rather interesting. What your gods don’t have them up there in heaven?”
“No, we mainly work, help keep the balance around you mortals. If we need entertainment well, a lot of us watch you. I guess you could consider it as our reality shows.”
“Some of you come down and marry mortals?” Spike chuckled lightly, finding himself getting used to such a strange situation.
“Yap, that’s some though others like to screw with mortals. I know there was this one God. He led his pantheon; he would come down and screw a bunch of mortals.”
“So, Zeus exists, all the other gods?”
“It’s complicated. I might have to explain more about it someday if you ask.” She smiled more while leaning back, her fingers hovering in the air as she looked around.
“So, how does one become a god? You said you were a minor god before a love goddess? How do you gain a position?”
“Well, when one God dies, another ends up taking their place; call it a promotion; when this one god of Life was killed, I got lucky and was chosen as a replacement, which allowed me to become the goddess of Love and Life. I think I was chosen cause of who my sister was.”
“Your sister? Wait, how does a god get killed? Aren’t you guys like eternal?”
Lucy giggled more as she shook her head; “We’re immortal; it’s just a secret. Sometimes it happens like an accident; Pan’s considered a famous case back in heaven. Though it’s rare, we die, and yeah, my sister… You might meet her one day; her name is Cadence. She’s the goddess of Death and Lust. She’s popular right now cause she’s one of the first goddesses to marry a mortal in the last thousand years.”
There was a twinge of annoyance on her face when she said that. Like the thought of her sister had caused the young goddess pain. Spike wasn’t sure what to say about that.
“Well, you’re going to be considered one of the greats, I bet; heck, you’ve got some pretty cool abilities, like causing that woman on the plane to give birth.” Spike smiled, which only caused Luna to smile with much delight.
“You think so? Cause I didn’t know if It was fully going to work since I hadn’t accessed ability like this before.” Luna chuckled. Spike couldn’t help but eye her for a second, almost wondering for a second.
“So all that was just you trying out?” Spike said, more surprised than anything, while Luna nodded,
“Yeah, I better get going don’t want to be late on my first day.” Luna pulled herself off the couch, blowing Spike a quick kiss as she made her way out. Walking off, Spike couldn’t help but find himself more confused than anything and shook his head.
“Well, have a good day at work then!” Spike wasn’t sure how that would go, but the better chance to get her out of his hair, the better; besides, he needed to prepare the house and get dinner ready, especially if his parents were coming over. He suddenly found himself stopping as he called out.
“Hey, try to be back around. I don’t know eight; my parents are coming over.” Luna stopped in her tracks.
“You’re having me meet your parents. Oh my god, this will be amazing woot, Don’t worry, Hubby, I’ll be back home by then. I don’t think it’ll be any problem.” There was a flash of light as Luna suddenly wore fine white robes, the kind that only a goddess or even a princess could wear, as she circled. As she vanished into thin air. Spike shook his head, unsure if he would ever get used to something like that.
“Well, Better get to work.” He turned around and began cleaning up some of the bags laid around. Spike sighed, wondering how Luna’s day at work would turn out.
Luna began going forth through the portal. A hand over a simple staff provided to her and a bag in the other hand while she looked around at the others. It was indeed something as she was giddy with excitement as she realized she was finally achieving her first day as the goddess of Life. Sure she had her duties as a love goddess, but now she could help bring life and balance to the world.
She moved through the ether, trying to find where she needed to go when she landed in a hospital. Looking around, she saw she was in the Maternity ward. She gave a long smile as she knew what was in store.
“Oh, it’s time to give a soul to some newborns.” She saw the many young children as she smiled with utter joy. Her hand reached over as she prepared to hand out the very souls of the newborn. Her eyes were on each of them as she pulled out the first soul, a boy’s to be specific, as she started To hold out the glowing orb. She looked towards it, seeing the basics of its life,
“Hmm, you’ll grow up to be such a playboy.” She giggled, placing the young soul into the child who slept soundly. Once it was put into the child, his eyes woke up and began letting out a scream as if wanting something. Luna ignored it, giving a broad smile, knowing that soon someone would arrive to check on the young ones.
Luna would continue handing over more souls as she passed over them when one thing came up. As she was about to place a soul into a tiny baby girl, she was about to put it when a voice came out that stopped her.
“Sorry, sister, but I don’t think you’ll want to do that.” Luna turned around to see where the voice came from. When she saw her, she was a tall, voluptuous woman with black-rimmed glasses and Short hair wearing a suit. She looked at Luna with a warm smile and held out a scythe.
“Cadence, it’s you… and what are you doing here?” Luna said while her shoulders slumped.
“Same as you, my job, little sis. Sadly this little pretty isn’t long for this world, sadly,” Cadence said, her smile slipping as she looked over the minor child, her fingers grazing it, as the child who was tossing and turning slowly went limp as if it had never lived before.
“What the heck? Why did you take her life? She hadn’t even had a chance to gain a soul. She didn’t get to live.” Luna said, irritated as she looked back at the Goddess of Death.
“It was my orders, like yours. I’ve got a few appointments here; I’m sorry, though I heard you got married, sis, Congrats.” Cadence said as she suddenly pulled Luna into a hug. Luna, in turn, found herself frozen for a second as the incarnation of death held on her.
“Yeah, he’s an adorable guy. We just went clothes shopping. Um, how’s your husband? I mean that Shining armor guy, since he can’t visit the gods.” Luna said while still in the hug, patting Cadence right on the back.
Cadence pulled back with a long smile. Her ruby red lips curled into a bright smile.
“He’s doing amazing, watching over little shield Gardna, and he’s such an amazing dad. Hey, maybe we should have a reunion. Shining armor would love to meet you. I’ve told him so much about you.”
“Oh well, that’s great; I’ve never gotten to meet him. Um, and you have a son that’s… great.” Luna said while her shoulders slumped more, looking at Cadence for a second.
“Seriously, it’s so great; I was so shocked when you were promoted; I never expected you’d take over that Dicks job after he hit the bucket.”
“Yeah, really good,” Luna said while she looked down at the dead baby; her heart wept as she wanted to give it life, walk over and bring it back. But a part of her knew the rules as she looked over. “What’s going to happen now? I mean, the family of the little one?” she held back the urge to cry as she looked onwards towards it and felt her heart breaking even more.
“The little one. Sadly, they’ll find her and tell the father. But by then, he’ll find out his wife passed in her sleep. This is going to be a sad time for him. But You’ll probably have him later for when he’s ready to find love; it might be a year from now or maybe longer. But You’ll be called to help him out.” Cadence looked down at the little one, clearly saddened by the death, as she caressed its cheek. The stiff expression on the child’s face as it barely moved.
“Sometimes, this job can be rough. I think after work, I’ll hug little Jimmy.” Luna watched as a tear escaped her eyes. At the same time, Luna moved in, patting her shoulder. There was silence between them While Cadence looked back, giving a gentle smile.
“Now you, get going; you got a lot of work to do, Goddess of life. Please have fun, and you’ve got to tell me where you’re living. I want to meet this special guy who somehow caught my adorable sister’s heart.”
“Sis, stop your embarrassing me in front of the babies!” Luna whined as she looked over to the babies running around for the moment as some of the babies who had finally gained a soul eyes opened and began crying. Luna couldn’t help but look at them and find them more adorable by the second.
“Well, you have fun, sis; I gotta go; I got a woman with dementia over in room five minutes. I wanna give her last moments a nice one.” She headed out, almost gliding as Luna watched Cadence head out. For a second, she couldn’t help but watch her older sis head out but groaned in annoyance as a part of her was seeing green.
“Focus just focuses, Luna; we gotta get back to work; besides, I only got one more soul left.”
She leaned down and smiled, “Now, aren’t you the prettiest little boy I’ve ever seen? Well, here you go, little guy. I got a good soul for you.” She leaned down, placing a tiny boy’s soul into the child's body. There was a moment’s pause as she looked, and the baby was screaming its loud lungs.
“Well, little guy, you have a good life. Hmm, what’s your name.” She looked down at the baby’s name card and saw it right there. Alice Stone. Luna stood there; eyes widened as she looked back at the babe and realized she had put a boy’s soul into the little girl. “Uh-oh.” She looked embarrassed and looked back and forth for a second, making sure no one was around.
“Um, Sorry there. I— Oh sweet me, I screwed up.” She looked around for a second and tried reaching in to pull the soul out. Her hand passed into the child’s as she tried pulling the soul out to see if she could fix it. Her hand wrapped around the ball of blue energy as she tried pulling it out, though as she tried, she found she couldn’t. The thing was stuck in there.
“Well… This is just great, um… Cadence did it!” Luna said as she started running out of the room, leaving the babies crying for their mothers.

Luna would continue going through work as she snuck around lightly. Passing through a high school, she giggled as she would give some of the younger boys as she leaned in and grazed them, as she would see some of the girls and just edge the boys on. Have them notice the other one and bring some attraction.
“Young love,” Luna said while sighing. This was one of the things she excelled at more than anything while she kept an eye on the nervous teenager going over and asking a girl out. It was adorable as she watched how they talked before vanishing away. So far, this ran better than the soul giving, but she imagined she would get better in time. After all, It was just the beginning.
She couldn’t help admiring the world for a moment of silence as she passed the halls.
“Love, and life, youth, and feeling. It feels amazing.” She walked onwards as she suddenly passed a closet in the school. Hearing a light voice,
“Careful, Jimmy, someone might hear us!”
“I can’t help it, babe; I’m getting close, Fuck, you feel amazing!” A young man said as Luna found herself slinking her head in as she saw two young people looking to be around eighteen having some fun in the janitor’s closet, the boy’s pants hanging down between his ankles as the girl was pressed against the wall. Luna snickered, finding this completely cute, especially seeing how they acted like stupid young love, but she couldn’t help watching closer as she saw him releasing his load deep into her; Luna had an idea. A horrible idea but an idea for something that they would never forget.

Spike was standing over the stove cooking a delicious meal as he heard the door open. He looked over his shoulder, seeing That Luna had walked through the restored house with a chip in her step as she gave Spike a wide grin.
“Hey, Spike!” She said with a pitch in her step as she tossed a bag over the couch.
“Oh, Hey, Luna,” Spike said as he watched her transform her clothes from those robes to something casual. “Hey, before you try and get too comfortable, remember my parents are on their way, and I don’t want you doing anything too crazy.”
“Wait, your parents are coming over!” Luna said, her head shooting up for a minute as she realized what he said.
“Luna, relax, it’s just my parents. I mean, there’s nothing to worry about.” Spike found himself shocked by how Luna was reacting. It was nearly whiplash.
“But it’s your parents, what if they don’t like me! What if they think I’m not worthy of being their daughter-in-law!” Spike watched her for a second when he heard the door knocking.
“Oh wow, um, I think that’s them.” There was a quick headshot as Luna found herself vanishing without a trace. Spike looked at where she was standing for a second and called out,
“Hey, get back here; you wanted to marry me. Now, come on, appear.” Spike looked over, seeing the door and hearing the continuous knocking.
“No, I’ll come back when they leave!”
“Come on, Luna get back here now; I told them you would be here. Could you not make me? Well, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do? Should I just bribe you!” Spike wasn’t even sure what to say. The whole situation was strange.
“I swear to you if you don’t.” There was a momentary silence as, Without warning, Celestia was pulling Luna right out the back door, bringing her in.
“Please, Mistress, stop acting like this. It’s below you.” Celestia looked over at Luna with a gentle smile while Luna looked terrified.
“Besides, if they disrespect you or cause trouble, you can always smite them.” Celestia adjusted her glasses for a second while Spike looked back at the two, his mouth dropping as he shook his head,
“No, we are not smiting my parents No smiting. You are smiting assistant!” Spike usually called out before groaning; he could develop a better line for his book. Right now, he was losing his touch. “Seriously, I normally come up with better lines than this.” Spike shook his head,
“Never mind, Celestia, no smiting—I don’t know, do Celestia stuff; Luna, relax. It’s not going to be that bad Mom’s great.” Spike walked over as he opened the door and suddenly pulled into a giant bear hug without warning.
Spike wondered if he would regret the no-smiting rule he had just made.
“Spike, it’s so good to see you.” His mom called out, holding onto him like he was trapped in a bear trap. The short, plump woman held on with a gentle smile as she hugged him tighter,
“Mom, it’s good to see you; please, I can’t breathe.” He grunted while trying to break free from her death grip.
“So sorry, but it’s so good to see you, and you never seem to call me.”
“Hey, it’s not my fault; I just forgot, that’s all.” The quick moment as he was released.
“Careful there, Firestar. Don’t need to strangle the poor boy.” The older man who greying hair said while walking back in. The confident smile on his face, even with the heavy gut, as he headed inside, patting his son on the shoulder.
“Hey, Dad, how’s it going.”
“It’s been good, same thing day after day, besides hiding the card from your mom.” He smirked back at his wife, who flashed him a dirty look.
“I don’t spend so much.”
“I know, I know, just messing with you, ok Firestar? So what’s for dinner?” He clapped his hand, looking a bit hungrier as he looked back at Spike soon. Looking around, the older man saw Luna standing there, almost nervous.
“Ahh, and who’s this lovely lady.” He said with a slight smirk while looking back at Spike.
“Oh um, mom, dad, this is Luna.” Spike raised his hand, introducing her to the two of them. Luna looked over, nervous, as she gave a light wave.
“Oh, hello there.” His Dad said, giving a smile. What happened next nearly freaked Luna out as Firestar Spike’s mother suddenly gave a wide smile as she held her arms out and began hugging her, as she ran over holding her tightly.
“It’s so nice to meet you. I never thought my son would ever find anyone.” Firestar spoke higher as she was almost bouncing. Spike couldn’t help but find it amusing while watching Luna being bounced. If anything, Spike imagined how his mother might react if she knew she was hugging an actual goddess. She might freak.
“It’s nice to meet you… Firestar?” Luna said while she found herself patting the woman’s back.
“No, don’t call me Firestar. Call me Mom; you’re a part of this family while dating my son.” She looked over her for a second.
“Spike, she certainly is a cutie. Where did you meet her?” Firestar asked; Spike found himself coughing while; Spike realized the two hadn’t come up with a plan to explain it. If Luna told his mom they were married, he’d be a dead man.
“Well… We met—” Luna seemed to try and find the right words when Spike suddenly said,
“We met at Fed-ex, I was printing off a manuscript, and she sent a package.” He took a deep breath in relief, figuring that would do.
“Oh, that’s lovely, Though I wish you had told me beforehand,” Firestar said while letting Luna go. Luna seemed to sigh in relief while looking back toward the other two.
“So, let’s get dinner ready.” Spike’s Dad said while clapping his hand.

The stew was great; Luke had to admit. Sure it wasn’t the best he had, yet it tasted pretty good. If he said so himself, watching his parents enjoy the meal while Luna looked at it and took slow bites.
“So, Luna, what do you do for a living?” Firestar said while taking a bite of beef.
“Oh, I help people with their relationship, help get it started.” Luna smiled lightly while trying her best to keep the fact that she was a goddess a secret.
“Oh wow, I bet that’s a lot of fun; you know I did that for a few of my friend’s kids, Some of them from my church. I helped introduce them to some lovely girls, and they’re happily married.” Firestar said while giving a smile; Spike found it somewhat infectious.
“Well, besides Jack, your mom doesn’t like to talk about that.”
“Well, how was I supposed to know Jack was gay? He was such a nice fellow.”
“Did you see what the guy wore? He was more fashionable than you.”
“We don’t talk about it; besides, he’s very much happy with that Jim fella, sad he left the church,” Firestar said, quite annoyed Luna, who couldn’t help but find herself giggling at such an idea.
“Well, what I do is a bit more complicated,” Luna said while she took another bite; her eyes lightened up as she enjoyed it.
“Well, it doesn’t matter so long as you make my little Spike happy. When can I expect grandchildren?” Firestar said; Spike couldn’t help but find himself choking on his stew,
“Mom, don’t ask that,” Spike said while pounding on his chest.
“What, I just wanna know when I can have grandchildren. Oh, You should join us for church sometime.”
“Firestar, please don’t they start dating? We don’t need to scare her.” Spike’s dad said, trying not to laugh, but he smiled like a bastard. Firestar snicked,
“Come on; I just got to mess with them, though I want to have some grandchildren when I get a chance, alright.” She eyed them more while Spike held his hand up in defense.
“Listen not going to have kids not for a while.”

Dinner turned out pretty well for the rest of the night. Nothing much happened besides Spike’s mom trying to show off baby photos. Luckily it never got to that. The group laughed and shared stories, Like the time Spike had accidentally set the kitchen on fire.
“It’s been so great to see you Spike, please call me, especially you Luna.” She pulled Luna in for a hug while Luna wasn’t even sure what to actually say as she hugged back looking a bit more comfortable. The smile on her face was quiet amusing.
“Sure thing Bet—I mean Mom.” Luna said, while they watched the two leave the house. Spike sighed in relief as he found the tension had finally subsided.
“Thank goodness, I thought they never leave. I love those two but I swear sometimes those two drive me crazy.” Spike said while relaxing.
“I don’t know they weren’t as bad as I thought they were.” Luna smirked while she leaned in bumping her hips in.
“Well At least you didn’t turn her into salt.”
“I don’t know was tempted to turn her into a chicken. Especially after she hugged me so quickly.” Spike couldn’t help but laugh imagining his mother turned into a chicken. Sure he wasn’t a fan of that idea but at the same time, it would’ve been quite funny.
Spike soon notice how Luna was watching him, those piercing brown eyes, that never seemed to relent. Then without warning Luna jumped at Spike, causing him to fall back. Landing on his back.

Blueblood smacked his lips as he walked closer to the house. How long had it been since he saw his son? For most people, it was too long, but For Anderson, it wasn’t long enough. He couldn’t stand the bastard.
“So, are you ready to help me?” The voice said while Blueblood looked off. His heart pounded, disgusted that he was even going to do this.
“As you wish, M r. Liesmith.” A long pause as he stood in front of the door. He honestly didn’t even want to knock on this door. He didn’t want to be in this town or even at this particular address. Blueblood was filled with anger and wanted to run away. But he didn’t want to disappoint God. He needed to try and do what would please Liesmith. Blueblood could hear a loud ringing in his ear, more audible by the second as he tried ignoring it. His heart was pounding as he listened to the door click open.
Blueblood saw a young man opening the door wearing a rainbow shirt; its blasphemy s he looked over seeing the feminine young man with short hair.
“Dad, what are you doing here?” The man said-- The young man, whom Blueblood would’ve called a queer or even a faggot. The way he looked at them with those disgusting eyes made Blueblood sick.
“I wanted to visit you,” Blueblood paused as he tried to find the right words. But looking at his bastard son, he felt an urge to puke at his abomination. “and apologize….” He felt Liesmith tell him those words while watching over the young man, the way he paraded around.
“Oh, Um, thanks.” His son spoke, not sure what to say, his eyes flicking around.
“Is there a way I could come in?” Blueblood said while watching over him.
“I guess, but probably not for long. My Boyfriend will be coming back. Why are you here? Besides Apologizing,” His son crossed his arm, suspicious about what Blueblood was around for a while. Blueblood felt himself sweating hard as he tried to come up with something. It was one thing about planning this out but doing it talking to this fairy boy.
“Well, I realized I was wrong, and I want to reconcile with you. I was a fuck up. I’m sorry, Redblood” Blueblood tried to sound sincere, but some of him wished he could puke.
“Well, I…” While holding the door, his son found he couldn’t understand the right words. While barely looking at Blueblood in the eyes. They walked inside together. A long silence as the door closed behind them.
Redblood watched his father close the door behind him. Not I was even noticing that he closed the blin that the door was locked.
“Do you need a drunk, Dad? I mean, I’m sure we have a lot to talk about; at least see how the years have changed.” Redblood muttered while heading to the kitchen. Blueblood looked disgusted, seeing how the walls were lined, the rainbow flag hanging on the wall, and the picture of this boy with some other man wearing suits. Even the corner a little dog, something that made him disgusted more. He never raised this kid to be like this.
Blueblood blamed his mother for being too kind, too patient with the bit of Faggot; Blueblood wished he could’ve beaten the little bitch into submission; maybe he could have gone on and become the man he was supposed to be. How disgusting; if anything, he wished that there was something Blueblood could have done to fix his boy. Yet, some of him reminded himself that this demon had taken his boy. That was what Blueblood told himself.
Now do it, grab something, knock him out, and grab a knife. I don’t care, do something so that I can take his body! Liesmith’s voice grew louder. Blueblood turned around to see a giant statue; he didn’t take the time to look at it; he reached over, gripping it tightly. Blueblood ran behind Redblood as he slammed it down into his skull repeatedly. A sickening crunch as he continued bashing in the boy’s brains in.
Redblood didn’t have time to respond, falling to the ground feeling all that pain, feeling every second of it as he tried crawling away and trying to run away from this fight. But was pulled back. But the worst part for Redblood had been when Blueblood, his father, turned him around and looked into his face. That deranged hateful face as he spewed out.
“Dad, why…”
Blueblood looks at his son bloody and on the cuffs of death, he smiled simply saying,
“Genesis 22:2”
Redblood’s vision slowly went dark as he thought for a moment he saw a woman next to his father, a busty woman with glasses on the side looking almost sad. Then he saw nothing.

Spike’s head shot up without warning, his heart pounding as he looked around. It was dark around his room as he gasped for air. He turned around, looking to see Luna lying there, naked under the bed sheet while looking to be in a deep slumber. The way the blanket wrapped around her was something.
“What the hell was that?” Spike said while pulling himself out of bed and walking out. He was still naked, but that didn’t matter to him. Spike just needed to get out of the room for a minute. The house was silent as he walked towards the kitchen, heading towards the fridge where he looked inside.
“Great just juice; I could use a beer right now,” After the dream he just had, he could have used one. “it’ll do for now.” He poured himself a glass as he turned the television on—the room filled with the television light while sitting there. A part of him couldn’t help but wonder what the dream was about. His head ached while he tried remembering everything about it. Yet all he could remember was that it was a son being murdered by his father.
“What the heck was it, the father said, Genesis 22:2? What does that even mean?” He was tempted to google it up. Yet shook his head.
“Probably just a dream. That’s all-- just a bad dream.” Yet, at the same time, Spike found that it felt almost too real, like it was happening to him. Spike wasn’t sure why? He turned the channel while trying to find something to write, yet at the same time, the thoughts were bugging him. What was so important about it?
Then there was the fact he saw that woman, that woman with glasses and wearing dark clothes. Who was she? What did she have to do with the story? That was when Spike got up and headed straight towards his writing room. Spike went to boot his computer. The Scrivener program opened as he began typing out.
Chapter one:
Michael Cormac, wasn’t sure what to say when he saw the mysterious woman in black. There was something off about her. It was like she had a glow to her, that didn’t seem human. She was shaped human. Married to a Goddess 2: The New Goddess
Three days had passed since Twilight had started living with Spike and Luna, and everything already seemed like a nightmare, at least for Spike. The moment he woke up, he had to go and write. Twilight would make sure of it.
He remembered his hand cramping the other day, and Twilight had told him to continue.
“I want this chapter done, buddy.” She said with that wild smile while Spike grunted.
“Yeah, well, you don’t need to ride my ass, the woman I’ve got to take some breaks creativity doesn’t just pop out of thin air.”
“Yeah, and you’re on a deadline,” Twilight spoke that gleeful evil in her smile as she turned around,
“I’ll be making you some coffee; keep writing.” She swayed back and forth as she looked back with a wicked grin. Spike took a deep breath and mumbled, “Why don’t you just hobble me, Annie Wilks.” He turned around, typing on the keyboard, and continued pushing his characters through the stories. People like Twilight seemed not to understand the craft of writing. She imagined it was just pumping out content nonstop. But there was more to it, and Spike thought about it.
That was when his phone rang, and Spike reached over, grabbing it as he answered,
“Spike Draco professional slave writer.”
“Hey Spike, I’m guessing Twilight got you.” Spike heard Jack's voice from the other end as he leaned back, relaxing, as he wasn’t even sure what he’d do if it were yet another robot call.
“Like you wouldn’t believe it, she’s chained me to the chair and won’t let me leave!”
“Hey, you could have fired her, and not like you two are still dating,”
“No, not at all, so what up, man?” Spike asked while putting the phone on speaker as he typed away, trying to extend the scene, but found that what he was putting down felt more like dribble.
“Well, calling to let you know that the suits should be ready for the wedding, and you might want to pick them up by today; you know how some of these places are. They want you to get them done as soon as possible.”
“I’ll see if I can escape Cerberus there, but I’ll try to get it as soon as possible.”
“Thanks, man; also, are you planning on bringing a plus one by any chance?” Jack spoke, and Spike found a heavy lump invade his chest as he thought about Luna instantly: How in the bloody hell am I going to explain her to Jack? Spike found himself shrugging,
“Yeah, put me down for an extra. I think I know someone who would love to go.” Noting that he would let Luna know, He also hoped that she didn’t do anything too crazy for the wedding,
“Thanks; it should be this weekend, so you better get ready, man,” Jack said. Spike could almost feel the smile growing on his best friend.
“No problem, I’ll just have to escape, but I’m sure I can make it over there to get the suit, no problem.” Luke turned around to see if Twilight had returned yet. Though found, she was nowhere.
“Hang in there, man; watch out for the warden. I’ll let Betty know you’re getting a plus one.”
“Thanks; now, if you excuse me, I have to make a quick jailbreak.” Spike hung up and made a run for it. He shot out of the door like a wrecking ball; while he passed Missy, nearly knocking her over as he passed over,

“Sorry, just got to run before Twilight gets me; talk later; I owe you one!” He screamed while he ran down the hallway right into the living room. His heart raced as he saw a glimpse of Twilight’s golden locks passing by as he made a quick turn. Passing Luna, who seemed immersed in the anime on a scream, Spike found himself quickly responding,
“Shouldn’t you be working or something doing goddess stuff?”
“Oh, I will be, but there isn’t going to be a birth in about ten minutes; one of my clients has twins, which takes time. No, Hanyo, you’re meant for Hinata! Don’t go for that bitch, Sakira!” Spike stopped for a minute and realized he might have accidentally turned his Goddess wife into a shipper.
“Spike, what are you doing out here? Get back to work.” Spike shook his head and called out,

Spike drove off to the mall and went straight inside, figuring he would be in and out without a problem; after all, what was the worst thing that could happen?
It should be a bit simpler, not having Luna with him, get in, and get out and head home before he felt the wrath of Twilight. “Get out. Otherwise, I might call the police, you little slut!” She spoke with a raspy voice that seemed like she smoked too many Marlboros. Though the fire in her eyes built up, Gabby looked more afraid,
“Debby, listen, I can explain. Please don’t do this. I need this job.”
“Listen, here, missy, get your ass out; I don’t want to see you in my store at all,” Debby spoke, her voice cracking as she growled. Spike watched for a second as he found he couldn’t watch this. As he moved in, and said,
“Is there a problem?” Spike asked, looking over at Gabby, hoping that she was ok. Gabby barely looked him in the eyes, almost ashamed to even see him in this state.
Debby looked at him for a minute, like she was trying to figure out who exactly this was when she blinked, and it hit her.
“You! You’re one of those fuckers. This little whore took me into my changing room to fuck. Never come into my establishment, and you’re lucky I don’t call the fucking cops!” Debby suddenly pulled her hand, slapping Spike right in the face. The harsh stinging against his face. Spike thought back the urge to yell right at her. Though seeing the crowd watching him, he kept his silence.
The woman growled more as she looked back at Gabby,
“Get the fuck out of my sight. Otherwise, I will be calling the cops.” Gabby seemed to find herself grabbing Spike’s arm as he turned around, walking with the young woman who clung to him. He could feel the tears rolling off her cheek against his shirt.
“Hey, it’ll be ok. I’m sure you’ll find a better job than working for the Karen.” He said, trying to give her a big smile,
“Maybe, but what am I going to do? Rents are coming soon, and half of it is due; I’m starting to piss my roommate off, and he’s a bit of a creep.” Gabby spoke, sniffing as they walked around the mall, Spike doing everything he could not to get weird looks from everyone else around them.
“How is he being a creep?” Spike found himself asking while looking back at the younger woman,
“He just does sometimes; I know the last time I was late cause Debby cut my hours for a month, claiming I could especially repay him since he had to pay his part of the rent.” She looked away some as Spike knew what she was insinuating by that.
“I told him no, I really should have moved out, but the rest wasn’t as bad, but now that most places are increasing, It’s getting tougher.”
“Can’t you ask your parents to help you out? Or move in with them till you can stand on your own?”
“I can’t; my parents and I aren’t in the best relationship.” Gabby looked away for a minute while Spike sighed, unsure what to say but looked back at her.
“Um… would you like to stay at my place? I mean, I’ve got a few extra rooms, I know I’m a stranger, but it is kind of my fault you’re in this situation.” He let out a long sigh knowing that he needed to do something to make this right.
Gabby looked at him, the suspicious look on her face
“I’m not sure, I mean. I suppose, but what do I have to do?” She watched him for a minute as Spike remembered what they had done before back in the changing room.
“Nothing at all; as I said, I’m just going to be helping you out, that’s it.” He gave her his best smile while she sighed,
“I mean, I don’t have much choice, especially if I have to explain it to my roommate. Who knows what that creep might even say.”
“No worry, though; if he’s such a creep, why did you even take him as a roommate?” Spike found himself asking more than anything since the situation seemed off.
“He wasn’t really at the beginning; we were excellent friends and knew each other in high school. But then he started getting a bit weirder. Not sure what happened. I tried talking to him, but he wouldn’t say much. Got too into Reddit or something.” She muttered while she thought back.
“Hey, I’m willing to help if you need it. I mean, it’s my fault you got into this situation.”

“Yes, my lord!” Blueblood called out carefully as he reached in, slitting the woman's throat. Her hard cough felt blood spewing, and soon she was gone.
Apollo screamed as he watched his nightly lover slaughtered. He focused on trying to summon the very power of the Sun when he felt something stabbed into him as he screamed in pain.
“Oh Apollo, you didn’t think I’d come over here and not be prepared; besides, you healing gods have the same weakness, Mistletoe, that magic that kills Balder, the symbol of the darkest night, when Moon gods are at their most potent, and you're at your weakest.
“What do you want, Liesmith? Cause the moment I get out of here. You’re going to feel the power of the very sun itself! I’ll destroy you and feed the rest to Cerberus!” Apollo screamed, feeling his head dizzy.
“I want information, you see, I’m back, but it seems most of, if not all, my godly power has been stripped from me. Why is that?” He spoke calmly while he held the back of Apollo’s head, trying his best to keep this healing god awake.
“You know why, when one of our kind dies, we have someone take the position. It’s how it goes.” Apollo grunted, trying to fight off the effect of Mistletoe. Apollo let out a hard grunt as he felt it taking hold. His heart pounded, and Apollo wished he could summon a bow. He was a Serpent at this point, but his magic was beyond his reach.
“Though Apollo, you are an interesting god, 'cause I remember you were once mortal before Zeus had restored your godly hood; this makes me wonder. What if I took back some of my godly power.” There he pulled out a knife, and Apollo watched in shock.
“No, don’t. This won’t end well. The Greek gods will come after you, and you don’t want to do this.” Apollo felt himself trying to fight his binds but found them useless as he thought the knife pushed down into the back of his neck.
Apollo could feel his divine essence escape from him, though he couldn’t move, his eyes darting back and forth, feeling weakened by the moment.
“Now, Thank you, I’m sure using your essence, for the time being, will rejuvenate me.” Liesmith cackled as he felt a fraction of his power returning.
“Lord, should we clean up? What if someone comes by?” blueblood muttered, his head bowing to the rejuvenated god.
“Nonsense, at this moment, we celebrate, for soon we shall find who has my powers. I can feel her close by.” The God smirked, licking his lips, feeling his body rejuvenating; sure, he wasn’t as powerful as he was before, but this was the kick he needed to strengthen him even for a little while.
“What next? Are we going to find the one that stole your power,” Blueblood said, bowing his head, the deranged look on his face the longer he was exposed to Liesmith, who just smirked,
“Soon, I can feel her. We’ll be close, and I’ll return to my full power when that happens.”

Spike and Gabby were finally making it back to the house; Gabby let out a long sigh as she looked over at the man. The way he was willing to help him. She felt suspicious, but at this point, there was no turning back. Gabby let out a sigh.
“Hey, if you choose to live here, we can pick up your stuff… If you want.” Spike said while not sure how it would all work out. He wondered how Luna would react.
“Maybe we should make sure I’m welcomed here,” Gabby added while looking back at his place. The house wasn’t much, but somehow for the former retail worker, the area was intimidating.
“Hey, I’m sure it’ll be ok; Luna’s a great person.”
“She doesn’t. I know she can be a little handsy.” Gabby bit her lips, just unable to help but imagine such a thought as she found her hand sneaking down between her legs. Spike pretended not to notice.
“That she can be, but boy, Is Luna something,” Spike remarked while slipping out of the car, closing it behind him, as he watched Gabby do the same thing. Going inside, He was expecting the worst to happen.
Walking towards his house, Spike took in a long deep breath as he was about to open the door, when without warning, It was swung open revealing Twilight, who looked at him more annoyed, as she exclaimed,
“Where have you been!” Twilight spoke, standing in front of the door, and The Craze look on her face as she looked at Luke like she was about to chain him to the chair,
“Had to pick up my suit for the wedding. It’s not that far off.” He pulled up the suit showing it off even behind the plastic; Twilight sighed, annoyed,
“I swear… Who’s that?” Pointing over towards Gabby, Spike sighed, not in the mood to answer all of this, But said,
“I’ll explain. Is Luna home? Missy?”
“Missy in the kitchen, Luna, said she had to go for a few hours,” Hanna explained while she crossed her arms.
“Fine, well, I can explain it to Luna later then. Gabby comes on in; this is Twilight, my editor.”
“Editor?” Gabby asked though she shook her head, imagining she’d get that information later.
“I’m here.” Suddenly without warning, Luna popped out of nowhere, causing Gabby and Spike to almost jump out of their skins. Luna gave him a smug smile, imagining she had managed to accomplish something.
“Gabby, it’s wonderful to see you again; the bra fits amazingly.” She licked her lips, looking at Spike, “Just Ask Spike; he very much likes to tear them off.”
Gabby’s face started to blush at this, Feeling embarrassed by the Goddess’s remark.
“Oh, Luna, it’s good to see you,” Gabby spoke; the confidence from the goddess's voice was intimidating as she looked over; this had been the woman who didn’t have to say much but had gotten her in the back of the Lingerie store, for a fuck fest and then a threesome. Spike and Gabby began telling the others about what had happened. Making sure not to leave a single detail out, Twilight watched, somewhat annoyed, but there was a flash of sympathy as she looked on, especially when it came to Gabby’s roommate.
“So What I’m asking, do you guy’s think she can stay? At least till she gets back on her feet since it is mine and Luna’s fault that this happened.”
“Hey, we were just having fun; not like I knew her boss was going to pull this stunt.”
“But, aren’t you a goddess? Shouldn’t you like know this stuff?” Gabby asked as she looked over to the woman.
“Wait, how in the heck do you even know she was a goddess?” Twilight added, finding herself more annoyed by such a thing.
“When you see some of the stuff she did to me, either she is some kind of demon or an actual Goddess, and well, for my sake, I just went with a goddess,” Gabby said, looking towards Luna, who gave a wide smile,
“Though she is definitely not the kind of Goddess I would have ever imagined.”
Luna smiled at that while she crossed her arms, Clearly liking the attention. While she smirked at Spike,
“If she wants Gabby can stay here, I won’t mind at all. The more, the merrier.” She gave Gabby a sly wink, causing the customer service girl to turn bright red.
“Great, I’ll have to request more rooms; sure the heavens won’t complain,” Missy mumbled as she started jotting something down, Though Twilight watched more wildly.
“I swear this has to be the weirdest thing I’ve watched, Is she even going to be paying rent or something?”
“I’ll help where I can, Miss Twilight, I just have to find a new job, that’s all.” Though Gabby felt nervous while looking towards Twilight, somehow she had sex with a goddess, but Twilight there had managed to intimidate her far more like she was the one who was going to smite her instead.
