It's been a few years since the incident of Cadence's 'wedding', and the love around the castle is still going strong. The Commander sent multiple assassins to the castle to try and finish off Celestia and Ash, but all of those attempts were futile. Everyone still doesn't know about Celestia and Ash's relationship. The two of them were actually really surprised after about the first year. What surprised them though was when Connor started a herd with Cadence and Chrysalis. Yeah, that was a real shocker. Cadence being in a herd with her enemy, but even so, the both of them loved Ash's brother a lot more than anyone would realize.

Back to the point, it was heat season, and all the colts in Canterlot were ducking and hiding. All except for a certain human with wings.

Ash was assigned to guard the doors of Celestia's chambers, alongside him was Gold Streak. The hallways were relatively quiet, apart from the rustle of metal when other castle guards walk down the corridor. During his shift another guard walked up to Ash and relieved him of his duties, telling him his presence was requested by the princess, "But be careful though, it's heat season." Hearing this Ash gulped but also became a little aroused. He's dealt with Celestia multiple times during her estrus. Though depending on her mood, she could be dominant and rough or she could a desperate and submissive pony. With her, it was a gamble, and Ash loved taking risks when it came to her.

Nodding and saluting to the other soldier, he made his way to her chambers with anticipation. Later, he knocked on her door and a golden aura encased it, allowing him entrance inside. "After you do what?" Orion snapped his fingers and Ash felt himself grow slightly taller, as well as growing a horn. Realizing he was an alicorn, Ash grew more confused by the second. In the blink of an eye, Orion was gone and Celestia was making her way towards Ash with a loving and sultry glint in her eyes.

She placed her hands on his chest and stared up at him with a trusting gaze "Ash, I'm ready."

"Ready... for.... wha-" the realization was planted. That's why Orion transformed into his alicorn form, because Celestia and his normal form wouldn't have been compatible.

Celestia laughed at his excitement and told him to put her down with a smile. "My love, we still have to tell everypony." Ash rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed smile.

"Of course, we'll do that too." Celestia just playfully rolled her eyes at him.

The both them walked down the corridor to the dining hall, everyone was already waiting for them. When all of them were situated, Ash was the one who started off "Me and Celestia have some important news that we wanted to share."

Though before he could continued Chrysalis was the one who blurted out, "The both of them are dating and Sun Princess here is pregnant with triplets." The room was dead silent and Ash glared daggers at Chrysalis. He wasn't surprised she knew, she feeds off love, so could most likely sense it from the two of them and he is honestly surprised that she kept it a secret for this long. If everyone's expressions were anything to go by.

"She's what?!"

"You were dating someone!?"

"She's having triplets!?"

Orion was kinda just floating off to the side, uninterested in the conversation. To be honest, his surprise was used up years ago, when he first found them kissing in the kitchen. Connor turned and saw him not having a care in the world "Orion, why aren't you surprised?"

Said shadow shrugged "I already knew, for awhile actually."

Luna looked at him incredulously "How much is awhile?"

"Multiple years, awhile. I mean, how do you think they figured out she pregnant. They came to me for a test." Again, the whole room went quiet and Luna was the first to yell.

"You knew and didn't come and tell me?!"

Orion leaned and closer and whispered into her ear, her face then becoming a crimson red. "W-w-who told her that?" Orion simply pointed at Ash. And he whispered a few more things into her ear.

Connor soon pointed out "Does that mean, the two of you would have to get married? Cause, you k'now, the baby thing?"

To be honest, the topic wasn't tossed around as much but it was something Ash would love to do later on. They've came out to them, but next was the nobles and then Equestria. The process would be harder with the nobles, but it would be worth the effort and then they wouldn't have to hide anymore. And Celestia wouldn't have to continuously watch other mares flirt with her coltfriend or try and sexually harass him either.

After that was said and said and done, Ash told his friends about his relationship with the sun goddess. They didn't take it as well as the others. They yelled at him and told he broke the protocol and that they didn't tell them in the first place. He apologized, but said it was the only thing he could do, the love they had was currently forbidden. Their love wasn't exactly allowed, considering she was a princess and he was just an alien commoner.

But, none of that was going to stop them, she loved him and he loved her. Nothing was going to change that, and God could strike Ash down, but not even Ash would let that keep him apart from one and only.

Sadly, no matter how hard someone could try to keep what they have, there would always be something or someone to try and take that away.

And the current battle with Commander was far from over.
