Chapter Thirteen

Previous Chapter

Celestia was sitting on her throne in the middle of the court room with more than a hundred nobles staring questionably at the sudden call from the sun princess. Ash stood next to her as well as all the others. To say they were nervous would be an understatement, the two were a wreck.

Celestia gave a cough to signal everyone's attention to her. Blueblood was the first one to speak out, "Auntie, why did you call everypony so suddenly, I have a spa appointment in twenty minutes."

Chrysalis responded with a small hint of malice, because she wasn't about to allow some lowlife talk to her future step-sister-in-law. "Quiet you wench, she's about to explain if you would just shut your maw and listen!" This got everyone to be quiet, as well as a few comforting rubs, that made her shiver, from Cadence and Connor.

"Thank you Chrysalis, anyways, my little ponies, I would like to give an announcement that involves me and the human Ash." She gave a deep sigh and comforting smile from her lover, to which she deeply appreciated. "The news is that I'm-"

She was interrupted by the sound of windows being broken. Ponies looked around and saw fawns swinging into the room from pieces of rope. Guards came crashing into the room, magic and spears at the ready.

Celestia and the others watched more and more come crashing into the room. Connor was the first one to move, running over to a stone structure and smashing in onto the ground. The sound catching everyone's attention. He picked up a large shard of the stone and banged it into the head of a fawn approaching his two girlfriends from behind.

Ash powered up his magic as well as Orion and Artemis. The three princesses and queen powered up their horns for any attack. Ash gave a grunt catching the attention of his lover. His vision starting to become a blur, and the power in his hands were fading. Soon falling to the ground to the horror of Celestia. "Ash!" She dropped to her unconscious coltfriend with tears in the brim of her eyes.

Connor looked over and panicked, but saw something lodged in his lower back. A blow dart. He reassured Celestia telling her he was just in a deep sleep.

Smoke then emitted from the air as ruined their vision. When it cleared, Ash's body was gone and being carried by multiple fawns out of the window. Celestia immediately took after him but let out a shrill of pain when an arrow went through her left wing. But that wasn't going to stop her.

She crashed through the window herself and searched desperately to find you. Her breathing became heavier when she couldn't spot you anywhere.

As the same with Ash, Celestia's vision began to blur and go black. The cries from the others were the last thing she heard before she could feel her body beginning to fall to the ground below her.

Ash was eyesight was still terrible but he could make out that he was tied to a chair was chains and shackles around his hands. He tried to break them with fire or lightning, but nothing happened. He was stuck.

He tried to yell, but something was currently covering his mouth.

A rustling sound could be heard from beside him, he looked over to see Celestia, now waking up. Ash called her name but it was muffled.

The clank of the door caught Ash's attention and he turned his head to see multiple fawn looking soldiers enter the room with stern expressions. The sound of door roused Celestia completely and she gave a sigh of relief to see that you unharmed, but she let out a moan of pain, remembering the arrow in her wing. Ash snapped his head to her at the hurtful sound and gasped seeing the root of the problem. His blood boiled at the sight of her bloodied wing.

He faced his head to the door, his eyes full of rage. But it was soon filled with confusion, when a fawn pulled out a horn and blew it loudly inside the room. "Our Commander will be with you two shortly, but she'll be here to deal with you both thoroughly." With that, most of the fawn soldiers left the room except for about four of them.

Two of them moved to the back of the room while the other two stayed in front of Ash and Celestia, near the the door.

Celestia was about to try and blast a ray of magic to help get them out of here but it was immediately cut off by a magic canceling ring on her horn, this caused her to let out a groan and depressing sigh.

Ash knew he wouldn't be able to as well, but he tried anyways, ending in failure though.

The sound of the door was heard and the fawns in the room stood at attention. And one of them called out "Presenting! Our Commander."

The door swung open and a gasp from the figure as well as a soft voice.

"Ash, you're the Sun Mage?"

Ash's eyes widened and tears began to well inside. He recognized that sweet and angelic voice from anywhere.

"Alexis..."
