Their goal? To become the World Champion! The stage is set! The players are ready! It's Turbo time! Which challenger will claim the title of "The World's Best Blader"? Third Person Perspective New York City, USA "Three! Two! One! Let it... Rip!" These six words rung throughout the training center of the Raging Bulls, America's National Beyblade Team. Three boys of different heights can be seen having a Battle Royale against each other with a robot as the referee. "Time to blow 'em away, Achilles! Give 'em your Turbo Launch!", said the shortest boy. He has a light skin tone, turquoise eyes, maroon eyebrows and hair, the latter being held together by a blue rubber band. He has a red A tattooed on his left cheek, and several bandage strips on his face: a horizontal one on his right cheek, two horizontal ones placed vertically on the right temple, and a horizontal one over an "X" shaped bandage on the left temple. His attire consists of a white shirt, jet black shorts with blue-buckled suspenders, a short-sleeved burgundy Letterman's jacket with a black-striped white collar, tomato sleeves, border and pocket lining, and burgundy sneakers with a tomato border, white laces, white toe caps and a white circle with an upside-down dark-blue "A" on each inner heel. His jacket has a light-cyan circle with an upside-down dark-blue "A" on the back and three yellow buttons on the front: one on the right side with a dark-blue Beyblade symbol, and two on the left, the upper one an upside-down dark-blue "A", and the bottom a dark-blue star. He also sports a dark-blue hand brace on his left hand and wrist. This is Aiger Akabane, the current Beyblade World Champion. His Beyblade is Turbo Achilles 00 Dimension. "Alright, Valtryek, let's go! Kick it off with Rush Launch!", said the boy taller than Aiger. He has a skin tone that is slightly darker than Aiger's, has water-blue hair that's held up by a blue headband with yellow accents, fair skin and brown eyes. He also has red markings on his left cheek below his eye; the upper marking appears lightning-shaped with an extra line emerging from it, and the middle and lower markings are right triangle shaped. His attire consists of a dark-blue t-shirt with white stripes, puffed-up collar and front zipper, a dark-electric blue and light blue body warmer with a yellow "V" on the left side and a yellow Beyblade symbol on the back, black fingerless gloves with blue cuffs and blue borders around the finger sleeves, blue pants with a brown belt and black shoes with white toe caps, soles and tongue. This is Valt Aoi, the former Beyblade World Champion and the current captain of BC Sol, the legendary Beyblade team from Spain. His Beyblade is Turbo Valtryek Zenith Evolution. "Let's do this, Spryzen! Turbo Counter Break!", said the boy taller than Aiger and Valt. He has shaggy white hair and bright crimson eyes. He also has a scar over his right eye, but it is usually covered by his hair and is therefore unseen until he lifts his hair when he wins a battle. His attire consists of a long-sleeve pink dress shirt and a closed white vest with yellow borders under a black trench coat with crimson borders, navy pants, and white boots with red lines. He also sports a red fingerless glove with a square cuff on his right hand. This is Shu Kurenai, the current owner of the Raging Bulls after the previous owner, Theodore Glass, stepped down. His Beyblade is Turbo Spryzen 0Wall Zeta'. The three Beys headed towards the center with each of their Performance Tips leaving behind a trail of colored light. The Beys collided in the center, sending sparks flying before knocking each other a fair distance away. They held on, however, and it seems like their Bladers are ready to reach the climax. "You guys ready to finish this?", asked Aiger, who is clearly enjoying the battle. "You bet!", Valt answered. He then roars while surrounding himself in a blue and yellow aura. He then shouts out, "VALTRYEK!". The same aura surrounds Turbo Valtryek before Valtryek herself appears through the aura! "Let's do this!", Shu responded as well. He also surrounds himself in his aura, this one being flame orange, before roaring out and shouting out, "SPRYZEN!". Shu's aura also surrounds Turbo Spryzen before Spryzen himself appears through the aura! "Alright, here we go!", Aiger exclaimed. He then roars while surrounding himself in a mix of red and blue aura. His hair then turns crimson and breaks free from the rubber band. He then shouts out, "ACHILLES!". An aura of maroon and crimson surrounds Turbo Achilles before Achilles himself appears through the aura! The three Bladers then called out their finishing moves! "TURBO VALTRYEK WHIP!" "TURBO SPRYZEN WHIP!" "Now, strike with TURBO SWORD!" Each Bey's Turbo Blades then glow in different colors: light blue for Turbo Valtryek, flame orange for Turbo Spryzen, and golden yellow for Turbo Achilles. The three Beys collide in the center, sending more sparks flying and whipping up a powerful gust of wind. The gust of wind was so powerful, in fact, that it sent the three Beys flying out of the stadium at almost the exact same time! The three Bladers were left speechless at how the battle ended. They knew that the battle had to have a winner, however, and turned to the robot referee for the verdict. "Who won?", they asked in unison. The robot computed the ending of the battle to see which Bey landed last. This took a few seconds before the robot finally spoke. "Turbo Valtryek with a Ring-Out Finish! Valt Aoi is the winner!", the robot declared in a... well, robotic voice. Valt grinned at his victory before raising up his arms and letting out a "Booyah!". He picked up Turbo Valtryek and said, "You were awesome out there, partner! Great work!". Valtryek emitted a light blue sparkle in response, as if she's thanking her Blader. Aiger was a bit upset, but he shook it off. "Aw man, I almost had that one! Still, that was a great battle, regardless of who won!" Valt then turned to Shu. "Thanks for inviting us to train here, Shu. We appreciate it.", he said, thanking his white-haired friend. The Raging Bulls owner thought it was no big deal. "It was no problem, Valt, you and Aiger are my friends. Feel free to train here whenever you'd like to." "Will do!", Valt and Aiger said in unison. They then looked at each other and laughed whole-heartedly. Shu joined in the laughter a few seconds later. "So, you guys wanna go again?", asked Aiger. "Sure, I'm up for it.", Shu responded. "I'm always up for a battle! Let's do this!", Valt excitedly responded. When Shu and Aiger picked up Spryzen and Achilles, however, they, along with Valtryek started to glow brightly. This startled the three Bladers. "Uh, Valt, Shu, what's going on?!", Aiger asked, panic in his voice. "I-I don't know!", Valt responded, panic also in his voice. Valtryek, Spryzen, and Achilles then glowed even brighter before Valt, Shu, and Aiger disappeared in a flash of light. Song: Turbo (Opening Theme of Beyblade Burst Turbo) by Nathan Sharp aka NateWantsToBattle Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Canterlot City was your usual and ordinary modern-day city in Human Equestria. Lots of people with differing skin color, hairstyle, and hair color, tons of vehicles passing through the city's highways, and hundreds of modern-day buildings. One of those buildings is Canterlot High School. Little did the students of said school know, however, that the next few days will change their lives forever. On the courtyard, three flashes of light (in order: blue, flame orange, and red) appeared a few feet away from and above a horse statue situated in the middle. The three lights fade to reveal Valt, Shu, and Aiger who were still startled from the whole ordeal back in the Raging Bulls training center. The Bladers then looked down, realizing too little too late that they were airborne. They screamed as they fell to the ground and landed in a pile, with Shu at the bottom (and groaning as his two Blader friends landed on him), Valt in the middle (also groaning as Aiger landed on him), and Aiger at the top. Aiger then looked down at his fellow Bladers. "Are you guys okay?", he asked, worried that he might have hurt either of them. "I'm okay, Aiger.", Valt assured the maroon-haired Blader. "I'm good. Now, could you two please get off me?", Shu said, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Oh, right, sorry!" Aiger frantically said before getting off of Valt. Valt then got off of Shu's back. Shu then got up and dusted off his clothes when Aiger noticed that something is missing. "Wait a second, where are our Beys?!" The other two Bladers noticed this as well and started looking for their Beys, until Shu spotted them. He then called out to his fellow Bladers. "Over here! They're just a few feet from where we landed!" Valt and Aiger rushed up to where Shu is and spotted them as well. "Valtryek!" Valt exclaimed while picking up Turbo Valtryek and frantically examining her. "You're not hurt, are you?!" Valtryek once again emitted a light blue sparkle in response, this one being a sparkle of reassurance. Valt let out a sigh of relief and smiled. "Well, that's a relief." "How about you, Achilles? Are you okay?", asked Aiger. Achilles emitted a crimson sparkle, this one also being a sparkle of reassurance. Aiger smiled at this. "That's good." He then turned to his fellow Bladers while seeing Shu pick up Spryzen. A question was on his mind and his face warped into one of confusion. "Uh, guys?" This got the attention of said Bladers. "Where in New York City are we?" "Huh. Good question." Valt answered, pondering about the situation. Shu looked around and spotted... a person with blue skin? "Uh, guys, I don't think we're in New York City anymore, or in America for that matter." Aiger arched an eyebrow at his friend's statement. "What do you mean by that?" Shu just gestured his head towards the person he saw. Valt and Aiger turned their heads to the direction the white-haired Blader gestured to and widened their eyes when they saw that same person with blue skin! "Wait, what?" The two asked simultaneously, surprised at what they saw. They blinked three times and rubbed their eyes to make sure they are not hallucinating. They blinked three more times, only to see that the person still had blue skin. "What the..." Valt let out, completely breathless. "How is that even possible?" Aiger added. "My guess is that we were warped to a world that's not our own. A world that is similar yet different to our own world." Shu answered after a few seconds. "You really think so, Shu?" Aiger asked. Shu nodded to the maroon-haired Blader. "Okay, I'll take your word for it." "If we're not in America or even Earth, then, where do you think could we be?" Valt asked. "Well, we won't be able to get some answers if we just stand here chatting away. I suggest we start looking for clues." Shu answered. "How about that building over there?" Aiger said, pointing at the building whose courtyard they landed in. Shu took notice of this. "Looks like a school building. This will definitely tell us where we are. Good eye, Aiger!" Aiger just rubbed his hand behind his head and chuckled to Shu's compliment. The three Bladers then started heading towards the school building's entrance. They soon reached the entrance roof that has the words "Canterlot High School" on the front. "'Canterlot High School', huh?" Aiger remarked. "That means we're in someplace called Canterlot, most likely a city. Hmm... I'm pretty sure Canterlot's not on our world map when I last checked it." Valt pondered. "That further supports my point that we're not in our world anymore." Shu responded. Aiger felt like a wave of nostalgia washed over him. "Is anyone feeling nostalgic right now, or is it just me?" "Nope, not just you." Valt answered. "You're not the only one, Aiger." Shu responded. Suddenly, one of the sides of the horse statue's base started rippling which made the Bladers curious. Suddenly, a girl and a dog came through said rippling statue base side, taking the Bladers by surprise! 'What just happened?', the Bladers thought simultaneously. The girl has (oddly enough) pale light grayish orchid skin, moderate violet eyes, and dark sapphire blue hair with moderate purple and brilliant raspberry-colored streaks. Her attire consists of a bluish gray polo shirt with a raspberry-colored bowtie, a purple skirt with a brilliant raspberry-colored six-pointed star over a pale light grayish orchid four-pointed star surrounded by five smaller white six-pointed stars, raspberry and violet leg warmers, black leather shoes, and a cerulean blue backpack with white stripes on the bottom and the stars on her skirt on its back. The dog, on the other hand, has light mulberry fur with a light spring budish gray underbelly and light lime green ears, moderate harlequin head fur styled like a mohawk, a purple dog collar with silver spikes and a golden name tag with a pink heart inside. As the Bladers continued to watch on in curiosity, they suddenly heard a groan coming from the girl. And, to their surprise, the dog spoke actual Human words! "Uh, Twilight?", the dog, in a high-pitched male voice, said worriedly to the girl who the Bladers now know is named Twilight. They deduced that Twilight is the dog's owner since they saw that he was worried about her. "Huh? Spike!" Twilight said to the dog who the Bladers now know is named Spike. 'Twilight and Spike, huh? Those are some nice names, not gonna lie.' Aiger thought, smiling about the duo's names. "You're not supposed to– Spike? Are you a... dog?" Twilight continued. Spike then inspected himself by walking in a small circle. "I... think so. But I have no idea what you are!" Spike's statement surprised the Bladers once more, causing their eyes to widen for the second time. 'Wait, he doesn't know what a Human is?!', the Bladers thought simultaneously in shock. Then, what the Bladers saw next became the strangest scene they have ever seen in their lives. Twilight screamed at the top of her lungs (this caused the Bladers to cover their ears, shut their eyes, and grit their teeth in pain) before she covered her mouth with her hands and began checking out every inch of herself while panting (and Spike cleaning himself midway through): her body parts, her clothes, everything. The Bladers just sweatdropped anime-style at this. That's when another surprising thought crossed their minds: 'She doesn't know what a Human is, either?!' "Twilight, you have to get it together!" Spike said, with Twilight doing some heavy breathing. She took a deep breath and sighed. "What... does the rest of me look like?" Twilight asked, her voice a blend of fear and worry. "Um, like you. Only not you. Your muzzle's really small." Spike answered. This confused the Bladers. ''Muzzle'? What does he think she is, an animal?' Aiger thought. "My muzzle?!" Twilight shouted. She was going to have another panic attack when Spike covered her mouth with his paws. 'Great save, Spike. We didn't need to see a second panic attack.' Aiger thought, smiling at the dog's quick thinking. "Are you gonna scream again?" Spike asked. Twilight shook her head side-to-side in response. "Where are we?" "I don't know." Twilight put her left arm on the side of the statue's base that they went through which went through the base in a ripple, surprising the Bladers again. "But that must serve as the gateway back to Equestria." She then pulled her left arm from the base, rippling it once more. ''Gateway'? 'Equestria'? What is she talking about?' Aiger thought. Twilight closed her eyes, clenched her hands into fists, and shook her head before opening her eyes and speaking in a determined tone, "We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there. I suggest we start searching the castle first." She and Spike looked towards the building, making the Bladers face it as well. However, what Twilight said struck Valt's mind. ''Crown'? 'Castle'? Is this girl from the Middle Ages or something?' "Works for me." Spike agreed... before jumping on Twilight's back, the latter now being in a quadruped position and running off on all fours. This highly confused the Bladers... except for Aiger. 'Okay, something's definitely up with Twilight. Humans don't run all fours, we run on two legs!' Shu thought, sensing that something was off about the girl. 'Alright, that crosses the line!' Aiger thought, fed up by what's happening. He then cups his hands around his mouth and shouts, "Hey, miss, are you okay?!" Twilight and Spike flinched at Aiger's voice not being familiar to them. He lowers his hands and thought, 'Uh oh, was that too much?' The duo turned around and, to their surprise, saw Valt, Shu, and Aiger standing a few feet away from them with bewildered expressions on their faces before seeing the trio approach the duo. Twilight took a quick look at the trio's stances and shot up to her feet in a bipedal stance (poor Spike got flung off of her back, but he landed on the ground on all fours without any problems). "Whooaaa... Whoa! Ooh..." Twilight said in surprise once the trio reached them, before laughing nervously. "You... you three didn't see that, right?", she asked with a nervous tone. She then decided to introduce herself and and her canine companion. "Hi, my name is Twilight, and this is my... dog, Spike." Valt spoke up, "Sorry if we startled you. My name's Valt Aoi. These are my friends, Shu Kurenai and Aiger Akabane." "Hiya!" Aiger greeted. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Shu greeted. He then shook his head before saying, "And to answer your question... Hate to break it to you and I hate to break the mood, but we saw and heard everything." The duo gasped at this new information as they turned to Valt and Aiger for confirmation. "It's true." Valt bluntly said. Aiger just nodded while crossing his arms. Twilight groaned at this and turned to Shu to listen to what else he has to say. "From you and Spike coming through that statue's base," He pointed to the statue. "To you running on all fours for some reason, the three of us saw it all." Twilight and Spike were slackjawed as they had no idea the trio were watching them the entire time. "That's not all, though." Valt said calmly. This got the duo's attention. "When we saw you two coming through the statue's base, we thought of it as a little weird. When we heard Spike speak actual words, however, that's when we knew something was up about you two." The duo became very nervous about Valt's statement. "So, do you mind if you two answer a few questions for us?" The duo looked at each other in hesitation before Twilight answered for the both of them. "Can you give us a few moments to decide?" Valt smiled and nodded. "That's okay. Take as much time as you'd like." "Thank you." Twilight said. She and Spike turned away from the Bladers. "What are we gonna do, Spike? We can't just tell them that we're trying to get my crown! They would think that we're insane." Twilight whispered to Spike. Spike thought about it for a few seconds before responding. "... We're gonna have to tell them the truth." "What?!" Twilight hissed in surprise. "Think about it, Twilight. They saw us come through the portal and everything else that happened after that, so there's really no point in hiding the truth from them. Plus, these guys look like they're pretty nice. I think we can trust them." Spike reasoned out. Twilight thought about what Spike said and finally decided on what she was going to do. "You know what, Spike? You're right. I think these three can help us with our task." Spike smiled at this. Twilight picked him up and said, "Thanks for coming here with me." She hugged him afterwards. "You're welcome, Twilight." Spike hugged back. He and Twilight then turned back to the Bladers. "Alright, we'll answer your questions." Twilight said to the Bladers. The trio smiled at this. Valt went ahead and asked the first question. "Okay, first question. You mentioned something about 'finding your crown'. What did you mean by that? Was it lost, or stolen, or something like that?" Twilight opened her mouth to answer, but Spike beat her to it. "Well, believe it or not, but Twilight here became Equestria's newest Alicorn Princess!" Twilight blushed lightly to Spike's statement. Spike noticed this and responded with, "What? It's true!" 'An alicorn? As in a horse with feathered wings and the horn of a unicorn? Huh, suddenly, her freakout from earlier makes sense. She's been a horse her entire life, so being a human is new to her.' Valt thought, taking the new information in. At that moment, Aiger realized that he might've done something wrong and frantically blabbered out, "W-Wait, P-Princess?! I'm sorry for shouting at you!" He then quickly bowed to her. "Please forgive me!" Twilight and Spike blinked at the maroon-haired Blader's actions, but the former dismissed it. "It's okay, you don't need to bow to me." Twilight's response confused Aiger, however, as he rose back to his normal stance. "Huh? But, you just said you're a Princess." He said before he shrugged. "To me, it just seemed like the right thing to do." Twilight bit her lip as she rubbed her hand behind her head. "That may be the case, but I'm still getting used to being a princess and ponies (or whatever we are right now) bowing to me. Which, quick question, what am I?" Aiger stared at her for a bit before he smiled and nodded. "I hear ya. Again, I'm sorry if I did something wrong." He then bowed and rose once more, this one being more relaxed than the last one. "Also, you're a two-legged creature called a human, just like the three of us." Twilight giggled at this. "It's okay, Aiger, you're forgiven. And thanks for the info." Aiger smiled. "You're welcome." Twilight then cleared her throat. "Anyways, the reason Spike and I are here is because my crown was stolen by a unicorn named Sunset Shimmer," The Bladers gasped anime-style in shock. "And ran off with it into a mirror portal that leads to here." "Who's Sunset Shimmer? And what does she look like?" Aiger asked. "She's a former student of Princess Celestia, my former mentor. She used to be a good pony, but she soon turned cruel and dishonest." Twilight explained. The Bladers looked at each other in pity, as Shu and Aiger once treaded down the same path Sunset Shimmer took before being freed from the darkness. "As for her appearance, she has yellow fur, red mane and tail with yellow stripes, and blue eyes. You three got all that?" The Bladers nodded. "Good. Anyways, after Princess Celestia and the princesses (that includes my sister-in-law) gathered me and my friends up, they tasked me to find my crown before the gateway to this world closes in three days and for 30 moons!" "30 moons?! That's a super long time!" Aiger exclaimed in shock. He then became confused about something. "But, aside from the three-day time limit, why are you in a hurry to find your crown? Isn't it supposed to be just something to help people- I mean ponies tell that you're a princess?" Twilight sighed, her face becoming serious as she spoke in a serious tone. "My crown isn't just a crown, Aiger. The crown has the Element of Magic, my Element of Harmony, on it." Upon seeing the Bladers' confused faces, she explained further. "The Elements of Harmony are the most powerful magical artifacts in all of Equestria. There are six of them: Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, and Magic, my Element of Harmony. If even one of them is stolen or missing, Equestria will lose its most valuable means of defense. That's why I have to retrieve my crown as soon as possible!" Aiger nodded in understanding. "It's that bad, huh?" Twilight nodded. "Don't worry, we'll help you get your crown back!" he turned to his Blader friends. "Right, guys?" "Of course." Shu responded. "Count me in!" Valt excitedly answered. "Really? You three will help us?" Twilight asked, she and Spike brimming with excitement over the possibility of three new allies, maybe even friends. "Anything for a friend in need." Twilight and Spike were touched at Aiger's statement. "Plus, we can help you adjust to being a human." Twilight smiled at this and lunged at the maroon-haired Blader while quickly and repeatedly thanking him. "Whoa, calm down!" Twilight promptly calmed down and let go of Aiger who breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, what's the plan?" "Well, I suggest we search that castle first." Twilight pointed to the school building. The Bladers turned to said school building and turned back to Twilight with perplexed looks on their faces. "Uh, Twilight, that's a school, not a castle." Valt said before chuckling lightly. "Wait, really?" Twilight asked. The Bladers nodded in response before pointing to the entrance roof. "Oh." Twilight said in realization before she chuckled in embarrassment. "Oops." Aiger shook it off. "Nah, it's okay. You didn't know. Now, let's go!" Aiger, Valt, and Spike walked towards the school entrance. Shu was gonna walk with them as well until he remembered that Twilight doesn't know how to walk as a human. He watched as Twilight struggled in walking on two legs until she tripped and landed on him, taking him with her as they landed on the pavement with an audible "Thud!". This got the attention of the three males as they saw Twilight and Shu lying down on the pavement, the former on top of the latter. "That's gonna leave a mark..." Shu whispered. "Are you guys okay? What happened?" Valt asked in concern. "We're okay. Twilight tripped on her feet and I caught her, but she took me down with her." Shu answered before looking at the passenger on his chest. "Speaking of which, Twilight, you can get off me now." Twilight quickly got off of Shu and onto her feet. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to land on you!" Shu got up, not minding their accident at all. "It's okay, Twilight. You're still getting used to being a human." He started thinking of a way to prevent Twilight from tripping. After a few seconds, he finally thought of a way. "I've got an idea. Hold on to my shoulder so you don't trip." Shu lent his right shoulder to Twilight's left hand. "Alright, let's go." Shu and Twilight started to walk forwards slowly as to not let Twilight slip and cause another accident. Twilight soon got used to walking on two legs and broke off from Shu as soon as they reached the top of the stairs. As soon as they reached the entrance doors, the Bladers watched Twilight sway her body upwards as if she was using an external force of some kind (most likely magic as she said before)... before they cringed as she slammed into the doors and reeled back with a pained expression on her face. 'Ooh, that's gotta hurt.' She shook it off, however, and tried again (grunting in the process), to no avail. That's when she realized something and gasped. "My magic! It isn't working!" Twilight exclaimed. "That figures. Humans don't have a horn... or wings." Aiger said. This caused Twilight to freak out. "What?!" She exclaimed once more while grabbing her hair's bangs. "Twilight, calm down!" Aiger said before putting his hands on her shoulders and giving her a calm look. "You'll get the hang of this, I promise. Now, take a deep breath and calm down." Twilight did as she was told and calmed down. "Thanks, Aiger." Twilight said. "No problem." Aiger turned to the door. "Now, let's find that crown!" He said with determination. "Right!" "Let's do this!" The quintet entered the school, ready for, by far, their biggest adventure yet. TO BE CONTINUED... POV: Aiger Akabane Next time, on Beyblade Burst Turbo: Element of Kindness! Enter Fluttershy!Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Picking up where we last left off, Valt, Shu, Aiger, Twilight, and Spike cautiously enter the school's main lobby, which was surprisingly empty. 'Hmm, that's weird. A school's lobby should be crowded with students. Either school's out, or classes are still in session,' Aiger thought. The Bladers noted that the main lobby definitely looks like a typical school; horse-related banners, doors, stairs, lockers, trophy cases... the list goes on. One particular trophy case near the doors in front of them get Twilight and Spike's attention. They rushed over to said trophy case (which prompted the Bladers to walk over) and checked for Twilight's crown. "What do you think, guys?" Twilight asked, looking back to the boys. The boys reached the trophy case (with Spike on its sill), getting a good look at its contents as Twilight scrutinized the case for her crown. "Other artifacts she's stolen from Equestria?" Aiger looked harder before caving in. "Looks like the school's trophy case to me." Twilight pulled away from the case to look at her reflection and herself. "I'll have to admit, I don't look too shabby." "I know, right?" Valt chimed in. Suddenly, the school's bell rang, and the lobby was immediately filled with students! 'So they were in their classes. Good to know.' Aiger remarked in his head. Shu realized that they would be completely floored if they don't do something. He then saw Twilight being smacked to the ground by a smartphone in the hands of a light heliotropeish gray girl with pale light grayish violet and white hair, and light cerulean eyes. She wears a yellow jacket with a white neck collar under a black V-neck shirt, a white skirt under black leggings, and yellow boots with white cuffs. She also sports a silver bracelet on her right wrist, earrings and a necklace with a dark pink diamond, and a tiara hairclip at the right side of her hair. Luckily, Shu was able to grab Twilight's hand in time and pulled her back up to her feet. "You okay?" "Y-Yeah, I am," Twilight stuttered. "Good. Now, let's get moving," Shu said before moving through the crowd with Twilight in hand. Valt picked Spike up and held him in his arms before he and Aiger followed the duo. Eventually, the quintet were able to get out of the crowd without any issues and let out a sigh of relief. "Finally... we made it..." Valt breathed as Spike jumped out of his arms. "And in one piece, too..." Aiger added. The quintet walked down the halls before... hearing music? 'What the... are we getting into a song number?' Aiger thought confusedly. Song: This Strange World by Rebecca Shoichet (Twilight Sparkle) (Twilight) I've never seen a place That's quite like this Everything is turned around This crazy world is upside-down Getting on my feet It's the hand that I was dealt But I don't have much time with them Got to learn all that I can They don't use any magic or fly with any wings I don't get these funny clothes, skinny legs or tiny nose Everything's confusing when it seems so new But I look a little closer and it starts to feel familiar too What a strange new world Valt, Shu, and Aiger [Twilight] I'm trying to make heads or tails of this strange new world Valt, Shu, and Aiger [Twilight] Sorting through the small details of this strange new world What a strange new world 'Huh, who knew Twilight was a talented singer? I wouldn't mind hearing her sing again,' Valt thought. The quintet continued walking through the hallway while passing some students on the way, when suddenly, they heard a meek voice. "Oh, I'm really sorry. I-I just found it, and-and I thought I should give it to her." They peeked out of the nearest corner to find two teenage girls. The source of the voice has pale, light grayish olive skin, pale, wavy light grayish rose hair, moderate opal eyes, and light magenta-ish gray eyeshadow. She wears a white tank top, a light green skirt with a light pink trim and three differently sized and colored butterflies, pink knee-length socks, light green boots with white soles and borders, and a yellow backpack with three blue-bodied, pink-winged butterflies. She also has a light green-bodied, white-winged butterfly hairclip on the left side of her hair. "I didn't know you had dropped it," the pink-haired girl said. 'Wow, she reminds me of Ken before he met Ben,' Valt thought, reminiscing about his friend, Ken Midori's time in Beigoma Academy. "Well, I did, and I was about to get it before you swooped in and ruined everything! You shouldn't pick up things that don't belong to you," the second girl said in a much harsher tone. She has light amber skin, moderate cyan eyes, and vivid crimson hair with brilliant yellow stripes. She wears a purple shirt with a yellow and red sun under a black leather jacket with five silver buttons on each collar, an orange skirt with a yellow and purple vertical stripe, and black boots with a purple flame-like design on the tongue and toe caps. This was Sunset Shimmer. 'So that's Sunset Shimmer. Sounds like she's as bad as Twilight makes her out to be,' Aiger (as well as Valt and Shu) mentally remarked. "It... doesn't really belong to you, either," The pink-haired girl said in a hushed manner. Sunset did not seem happy at the pink-haired girl's comment as she slammed her hands onto the lockers, startling the pink-haired girl. "Excuse me?!" The pink-haired girl slid down the locker door in what seems to be fear. "N-n-nothing..." The quintet were infuriated by Sunset's actions, Aiger even more so. 'A bully and a thief is a double red flag for me. That's just not cool!' "That's what I thought. It's as good as mine, and you know it. You really are pathetic. It's no wonder your best friends are all stray animals," Sunset insulted. Aiger decided that enough is enough. He and Twilight got out into the corridor and exclaimed in unison, "How dare you speak to her that way!" Valt and Shu got out into the corridor as well with disapproving glares on their faces. Sunset turned to the newcomers. "What did you say?" Aiger and Twilight repeated their statement as they, Valt, Shu, and Sunset walked towards each other. "I said, 'How dare you speak to her that way!'" The six just glared at each other until Sunset flashed a nasty smirk. "You must be new here," She flicked Twilight's head upwards before walking off. "I can speak to anyone any way I want." Aiger noticed that the students had scared looks on their faces as Sunset walked down the hallway. It's almost as if they were afraid of Sunset's presence. He even saw one student hide in a locker. The quintet stared down the direction they came from before the pink-haired girl spoke up. "I can't believe you two did that!" Aiger shrugged it off, feeling that it's natural to stand up to a bully. "Well, we couldn't just stand there and watch you get bullied." "Well, it's just that nobody ever stands up to Sunset Shimmer," the pink haired-girl said. This was a shocker to the quintet. 'Wait, no one's ever thought of standing up to her?!' Aiger mentally exclaimed. He already knew who Sunset was, but he decided to act like he doesn't know her. "Sunset who?" The pink-haired girl decided to fill him in. "Sunset Shimmer. She popped up a couple of years ago. She was nice at first, but she got meaner as time went on. She even made us believe that she was gonna rule us all with an iron fist until we graduate." Aiger looked upset. "That sounds horrible..." The pink-haired girl nodded. "It is..." She then realized something. "I don't think I've seen you four around before. Did you all just transfer to Canterlot High from another school?" Aiger nodded. "Yeah, we came from Beigoma, Japan. The name's Aiger, Aiger Akabane." He gestured to his friends. "And these are my friends, Valt, Shu, and Twilight. What's your name?" "I'm... Fluttershy," the pink-haired girl, now known as Fluttershy, said quietly, but not quietly enough for Aiger to hear. "Nice to meet you, Fluttershy!" Aiger said, holding out his hand. Fluttershy reluctantly took Aiger's hand and shook it. They let go and the hallway became silent... until Spike came into Fluttershy's view. "Oh, my goodness!" Fluttershy rushed toward Spike like a speeding car, nearly knocking over Aiger and Twilight. Fortunately, they were able to regain their balance before they could fall over. "Who's this sweet little guy?" Twilight answered as Aiger walked over. "That's Spike, my dog!" Fluttershy continued to fawn over Spike. "Oh, he's so cute!" She then brought out a dog treat and held it out to Spike. "Go on, eat up, little pup!" Spike took a bite out of the treat before devouring it! "Oh, wouldn't you just give anything to know what they're really thinking?" "He usually just tells me," Twilight nonchalantly said. This caused the Bladers' eyes to shrink to pinpricks and Fluttershy to become curious. "Twilight, what are you doing?! You're gonna get our cover blown!" Aiger hissed into Twilight's ear. "Oh, w-what do you mean?" she asked Twilight just dismissed the question. "Oh, uh, nothing!" She chuckled nervously. "Never mind. Sunset Shimmer said you picked something up. Something that belonged to her. It wasn't a crown, was it?" Fluttershy shot straight up. "How did you know?" "Uh, lucky guess?" Twilight answered nervously. "Do you still have it?" Fluttershy shook her head. "Mm-mm." "But you know what happened to it." This time, Fluttershy nodded. "Mm-hmm. This morning, I was passing out fliers for the animal shelter like I do every Wednesday." Earlier... The scene shifts to the school's courtyard which is full of students. Fluttershy is shown holding a lot of fliers. "Canterlot's animal shelter needs more volunteers. Won't you help an animal that can't help itself?" she said in a voice so quiet that no one heard her. When no one heard her, she looked disappointed before plopping to the ground, disheartened, dropping all of her fliers, and burying her head in her face, whimpering. That was until Twilight's crown smacked her behind her head. "Ow!" she rubbed the spot where the crown hit her before spotting the crown and picking it up. Present Time The scene shifts back to present time as Fluttershy pets Spike and finishes telling her story. "I have no idea how it got there, but I didn't want anything to happen to it, so I decided to give it to Principal Celestia." Twilight was confused at Fluttershy's terms. "Principal Celestia? She's the ruler here?" "Makes sense," Shu commented. "The principal is usually the first person you want to give the lost item to in school." "You could say that. Technically, I guess she and Vice Principal Luna do make the rules," Fluttershy replied. "Can you tell us where her office is, Fluttershy? We need to get enrolled for school," Valt requested. "Sure thing. It's the third door on your left," Fluttershy answered. Valt turned to his friends. "You heard her, guys, third door on our left!" He turned back to Fluttershy. "Thanks for the help, Fluttershy, appreciate it!" He turned back to his friends. "Alright, let's go!" The quintet took off, but Fluttershy stopped them before they could go any further. "Oh, wait!" she said, the quintet peeking out the corner. "You're not really supposed to have pets on school grounds. Might wanna tuck him into your backpack. That's what I do." Her bag opened up to reveal a white rabbit, a white cat and a red bird. The animals jumped out of the bag and calmly surround Fluttershy. "They just get so lonely when I'm in school all day." Aiger nodded. "Yeah, I can imagine," he said. He then mentally said, 'Hah, I knew camping near the animals in Beigoma Academy wasn't a crazy idea!' Twilight accepted the advice. "Oh, okay! Thank you!" The school bell then rung, signifying that the next class was about to start! This worried Fluttershy. "Oh no, I'm late for class!" She scooped up the animals into her bag, put it back on, and ran off to her next class. "Now it's our turn. We've gotta see Principal Celestia if we wanna get Twilight's crown," Shu said. "Right!" The others said in unison. After getting Spike in Twilight's bag, they walked towards Principal Celestia's office, ready to get Twilight's crown back. TO BE CONTINUED... POV: Aiger Akabane Next time, on Beyblade Burst Turbo: Elements of Laughter and Honesty! Pinkie Pie and Applejack! Author's Note Ending theme: Credits - Beyblade Burst Turbo Aaand that wraps up Chapter 2! The quintet has met Fluttershy, but who else will they run into? Tune in to Chapter 3 to find out! Elements of Laughter and Honesty! Pinkie Pie and Applejack!Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Picking up where we last left off, Twilight, Spike (who is in Twilight's bag), Aiger, Valt, and Shu have arrived at the door of Principal Celestia's office. "Well, here it is, Principal Celestia's office," Shu commented before facing his friends. "Let's make a good first impression, okay?" "Right," Aiger replied. "Got it," Twilight answered. Shu faced the door and knocked on it, waiting for a response. "Come in," a mellow and somewhat disinterested female voice said through the door. "Here we go," Shu said to himself before opening the door, letting the five of them enter the the office. Twilight, for some reason, went into a bowing position. Shu closed the door as he was the last person to go in. Sitting in the office chair and reading what looks to be a folder with a school file in it is a woman with light magentaish gray skin, moderate heliotrope eyes, and hair with gradients of pale light grayish cyan to light arctic blue, pale light grayish harlequin to light aquamarine, pale light grayish cornflower blue to light sapphire blue, and pale light grayish mulberry to darker mulberry. She wears a marzipan uniform coat with a golden sun on the left collar over a white v-neck shirt with a purple top half, purple pants that reach the feet, cherokee heels with sunset pearl fleur-de-lis like designs on the toes going to the heels, and a watch with a yellow rim and a purple strap. This is Principal Celestia, the principal of Canterlot High School. "How may I help you?" Principal Celestia asked, still reading the school file. Twilight, who had risen back to a standing position, and Spike, who had his head poke out of Twilight's bag, gave each other a confused glance. He hid back into her bag as she put it down on the floor and approached Principal Celestia. "Um, uh... whew." Principal Celestia set the folder down and gave an unamused look. Twilight quickly shook her head before continuing. "My name's Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends, Aiger Akabane, Valt Aoi and Shu Kurenai. W-We're new here, and... well, I understand that Fluttershy found a crown this morning and gave it to you." "Yes," Principal Celestia said as she got out of her chair, holding the folder in her hands. "I've had Vice Principal Luna put it somewhere for safekeeping," She approached an open drawer behind her and placed the folder in it. "No idea how it ended up in the front lawn," She then closed the open drawer. "Were you interested in running for Princess of the Fall Formal this year?" ''Fall Formal'? Is that some sort of big event here?' Aiger mentally asked. Twilight didn't expect that question, so she rambled a bit. "Uh, no. Not exactly. The truth is... Well, the truth is I... You see, the crown is actually..." The quartet perked up at the name given as Principal Celestia approached a calendar behind them. "Princess of the Fall Formal?" "It's Canterlot High's big Fall dance," Principal Celestia said as she marked a date on the calendar. 'Eh, my guess was close enough,' Aiger mentally remarked. "Like the Grand Galloping Gala," Twilight compared. Principal Celestia was confused at the name, as were the Bladers. "Uh, Grand Galloping Gala?" 'Huh, must be an Equestrian thing,' Valt mentally commented. Spike was peeking out of Twilight's bag before poking his head out as Twilight noticed her slip-up and tried to correct it. "Oh, uh, it was a..." Twilight trailed off as she shoved Spike's head back into her bag before continuing. "...big deal at my old school." "And was there a princess?" Principal Celestia asked. "Yes, but she wasn't exactly a student," Twilight responded. "Here at Canterlot High, the students select one of their peers to represent them. She receives her crown at the Fall Formal." Principal Celestia said as Twilight sees three increasingly fearsome photos of Sunset Shimmer wearing three different dresses and crowns, which makes the latter ponder. 'Okaaay, these three photos of Sunset are... increasingly creepy,' Shu thought. Twilight put her bag back on as the quartet exited Principal Celestia's office with the latter standing at the doorway. "You asked me if I was interested in running for Princess. Can anyone run?" Twilight asked. "Yes. You just need to let the head of the Fall Formal planning committee know you'd like to be on the ballot. Was there anything else?" Principal Celestia responded. "Um, nope! That was it!" Twilight said as she flashed a smile at Principal Celestia and the Bladers shook their heads. "Well, if you do need anything else, my door is always open," Principal Celestia said as she, ironically, closed her office's door, startling Twilight and causing Spike to poke his head out. "Twilight, why didn't you just tell her the crown was yours and ask for it back?" Spike asked as the quintet headed to the main lobby. "Oh, I was going to, but imagine if a human here showed up in Equestria saying they came from a place filled with tall, fleshy, two-legged creatures with these?" Twilight replied as she held out her hands. "We'd think they were crazy!" This made the Bladers feel slightly insulted. "Hmm... you make a good point." Spike replied. "Looks like if I want my crown back, I'll have to become Princess of the Canterlot High Fall Formal. So that's what I'm gonna do!" Twilight exclaimed. "And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" Spike asked. "I have no idea!" Twilight answered, causing the Bladers to sweatdrop anime-style. The school bell rang for probably the third time, taking the quintet by surprise, and the lobby was once again flooded with the students from earlier. Canterlot High School Cafeteria, Canterlot City, Human Equestria It was lunchtime at the school cafeteria. Students were chatting away or doing other stuff besides eating their lunches. The scene cuts to Fluttershy getting her lunch, a veggie burger, a glass of water, and a bowl of fruit salad. "I know we've just met, but I was wondering if you might be able to help me with something," Twilight said while getting the same lunch as Fluttershy. The Bladers got the same thing with the exception that they chose a hamburger instead of a veggie burger. "Of course!" Fluttershy replied. "I've decided to run for Princess of the Fall Formal, and-" Twilight's statement was cut short by Fluttershy gasping and spilling her fruit salad onto Twilight's shirt. "Oh! Oh, gosh! Sorry," Fluttershy exclaims as she cleans up the spill she made with almost all of the table napkins. "It's just, oh, running for Fall Formal Princess is a really bad idea." "Oh? And why's that?" Shu asked. "Sunset Shimmer wants to be Fall Formal Princess, and when she wants something, she gets it! She'll make life awful for anyone who stands in her way," Fluttershy said as an elderly woman with light lime green skin, light gray hair with a few strands sticking out wearing a pale yellow blouse, an orange bandana with apples printed all over it, and apple earrings on each ear placed a red apple on Fluttershy's tray from behind a counter. "Just ask the girl who ran against her for Princess of the Spring Fling." The elderly woman placed a red apple on the quartet's trays as well before catching up to Fluttershy. "I have to try!" Twilight exclaimed as she caught up. "Oh, I don't think you understand. You'd have to convince everyone here to vote for you instead of her: the athletes, the fashionistas, the dramas, the eco-kids, the techies, the rockers..." The quartet was legitimately confused. "Why is everypony-" Twilight's statement was cut short once more as Spike popped out of her bag and gave her a good smack to the face. "Uh, everybody separated this way?" "Yeah, shouldn't people mix and match at tables?" Valt curiously asked. "Maybe it was different at Beigoma Academy," Fluttershy started as she sat down at a nearby table with Twilight and the Bladers following suit. "But at CHS, everybody sticks to their own kind. One thing that they do have in common is that they know Sunset Shimmer is gonna rule the school until we graduate." She finished as she started eating her fruit salad. "Not if I can help it!" Twilight said, determined to change the school for the better... before proceeding to grab the apple with her mouth and chewing on it, causing Fluttershy to look confusedly at her. The former felt someone tap her on her right shoulder. She turned to find that Valt was the one who tapped her on the shoulder. He gestured to his left hand and grabbed his apple with it. She realized what she was doing and grabbed the apple out of her mouth with her right hand. "So, uh..." She continued before chuckling. "Where would I find the head of the party planning committee?" Canterlot High School Gym, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Lunch had finished, and Twilight, Spike, and the Bladers had arrived at the school's gym, which had been decorated with streamers, ribbons, balloons, and other decorations fit for a party. "Fluttershy said she'd probably be in here," Twilight stated. "Well, whoever they are, they know how to deck this place out!" Aiger complimented. Suddenly, a shrill voice is heard. "Incoming!" The group looked up and saw a squall of streamers headed down towards them. They ducked for cover, but they were covered in streamers in a matter of seconds. They got out of their streamer wraps and back up on their feet to see who tossed the streamers. It turned out to be a teenage girl with light ceriseish gray skin, poofy brilliant rose hair, and pale, light grayish cerulean eyes. She wears a white strapless shirt with a pink heart and a purple top border over a light blue overcoat, a pink skirt with three balloons (two blue with yellow string and one yellow with blue string), a purple ribbon tying both of them together, a wristband on each wrist, and blue boots with white lace-like designs and a pink bow on the tongue. The girl tossed a few ribbons and some confetti before literally peeling off a blue balloon from her skirt (much to the Bladers' bewilderment) and blowing into it. Twilight decided to introduce herself. "Hi, my name's Twilight Sparkle and... Pinkie Pie?" This shocked the Bladers once more. ''Pinkie Pie'? Hmm... she's probably one of Twilight's friends,' Valt thought. The balloon of the girl now known as Pinkie Pie suddenly deflates as she gasps, grabs Twilight from behind, turns her around to face her, and grabs the collars of Twilight's shirt as the latter comes face-to-face with the former. "Are you psychic?!" "Uh, no. I don't think so. Unless of course that's something you can do here." Twilight denies as she felt very uncomfortable from Pinkie being in her face (not literally, of course). Pinkie drops Twilight and sighs. "Not usually." She then grabs a yellow balloon and starts blowing into it. "Fluttershy said this is where I'd find the head of the Fall Formal planning committee," Twilight said, but it looks like Pinkie doesn't like the mention of the word 'Fluttershy'. "Fluttershy, huh? Don't let the whole "shy" thing fool you. She can be a real meanie." This caused the Bladers to raise an eyebrow. 'You sure about that, Pinkie?' Aiger mentally remarked. 'She seems genuinely shy to me.' Twilight was surprised, however. "You two aren't friends?" Instead of answering the question, Pinkie moved to another subject. "Waited a bit to get your name on the ballot, huh? Dance is day after tomorrow." "I'm brand new here," Twilight stated. "Ooh!" Pinkie said, then paused and adopted a skeptical look on her face. "I thought you didn't look familiar," She then zoomed to Twilight and started looking at her at all sorts of angles, which left the Bladers even more bewildered. "Though, now that I'm really lookin' at you..." Pinkie backed up a few steps, then pointed a finger at Twilight. "Do you have a twin sister who lives in the city," She then pointed at Spike, who was tugging on a purple balloon. "Has a pet dog named Spike that looks just like that one?" "Uh, maybe?" Twilight nervously responded. "Thought so," Pinkie replied, then, much like what she did with Twilight, she took a look at the Bladers from many different angles. "But I haven't seen you three anywhere in the city!" She then got up in their faces and asked, "Are you three new here?" Valt nodded. "We sure are! We just transferred here from Beigoma Academy in Japan. Name's Valt Aoi! Nice to meet you!" "I'm Shu Kurenai. Pleasure to meet you." "My name's Aiger Akabane, and can I say that I really like what you did with the place? This place looks like it's ready for a party!" "Aww, thanks, Aiger!" At that moment, Pinkie realized that they went off-track and turned to Twilight... "Anyhoo," ...and brought out a clipboard from her hair. "Just need to fill this out and you are officially up for the coveted Princess of the Fall Formal crown." Pinkie finished as she brought out a pen and handed it to Twilight. The Bladers were just dumbfounded at this point. First a clipboard, and now a pen? How on Earth is she storing those in her hair?' Shu wondered. He then noticed that Twilight hasn't taken the pen yet and decided to step in before things got awkward. "Hey, Pinkie?" "Yes?" Pinkie asked. "Can I do it for Twilight? She can't write that well," He then mouthed, "Sorry, Twi." "Sure thing!" Pinkie allowed. "Thanks." Shu replied, took the pen from Pinkie's hand, and wrote Twilight's name on the ballot in her stead. "Aaand done." Pinkie took a look at the clipboard. "Yup, looks good! You're good to go, Twilight!" Twilight perked up and mouthed "Thank you" to Shu, who just nodded. Suddenly, a voice with a Southern accent was heard. "Somebody order a dozen cases of fizzy apple cider?" Twilight, Spike, Pinkie, and the Bladers turned to see a silhouette wearing a Stetson hat carrying a case of apple cider. "Oh! Oh! Me, me-me-me, me, yeah, ha-ha, me!" Pinkie said without stopping. The silhouette put the case of apple cider on a nearby table and was revealed to be a teenage girl with moderate sap green eyes, pale light grayish olive hair with the end tied into a ponytail by a red rubber band, and pale light grayish gamboge skin. She wears a polo shirt with rolled up sleeves with a green upper chest, neck, shoulders, and back, a brown belt with a red apple buckle, a light blue denim skirt with two front pockets, brown leather boots with two red apples with green stems printed on the tongue, and a brown Stetson hat on her head. As soon as Twilight saw who the silhouette was, a recognizing look was immediately plastered on her face, which did not go unnoticed by the Bladers. 'Huh, looks like Twilight knows this girl. Probably another friend of hers or something,' Shu mentally remarked. The girl then called out to someone. "Can ya bring in the rest?" "Eeyup," a deep male voice said in response. He has light gamboge hair and pale, light grayish amaranth skin (to the Bladers, this was the first and probably the only person here that has a skin color that looked like their own skin tone). He wears a red polo shirt with rolled up sleeves and a brown upper chest, neck, shoulders, and back over a white T-shirt, a brown belt with a silver buckle, blue denim pants that are ripped near the feet, red shoes with white toecaps, tongues, and soles, and a brown wristband on his right wrist. Pinkie bounced to the boy while the girl walked up to him and took away a case of apple cider, revealing moderate sap green eyes, much like the girl. Before the girl could get the table with the other case of apple cider, she seemed to recognize Twilight and Aiger. "Hey, Ah know you." "You do?" Twilight and Aiger asked in unison. They glanced at each other, then let out a chuckle. 'Oh man, that's the second time that happened today!' Aiger recalled. "Sure." The girl said as she put the case of apple cider on the table with the other case of apple cider. "You're the new fellers who gave Sunset Shimmer the what for today." She grabbed a bottle of apple cider, popped the cap off with her teeth, spit out said cap, and proceeded to drink the cider. Aiger nodded as he introduced himself. "Yep, that sure was us. The name's Aiger Akabane," He said, gesturing to his friends as he introduced them. "And these are my friends: Valt Aoi," Valt gave a friendly smile. "Shu Kurenai," Shu gave a greeting smile and nod. "And Twilight Sparkle." Twilight gave a wave (wow, that rhymed). "Twilight Sparkle here is gonna run against Sunset Shimmer for Princess of the Fall Formal," Pinkie stated as she inflated a heart-shaped balloon and floated upwards. The girl's irises shrunk to pinpricks as she did a spit take. After the girl cleaned her mouth, she stated: "Ah'd think twice about that. Oh, sure, she'll probably approach you all friendly like..." She noticed Pinkie was floating around, grabbed the latter down to the ground, her pen and heart-shaped balloon (No worries, Pinkie just grabbed a yellow balloon and blew into it) and drew onto it using the pen. The girl raised the heart-shaped balloon to reveal Sunset's face with a seemingly happy expression and started mimicking the bacon-haired girl's voice. "I sure am lookin' forward to some friendly competition." The girl then raised the yellow balloon that Pinkie was holding which had Twilight's face on it and started mimicking Twilight as well. "That's so good to hear." The girl's voice then went back to normal as she turned the heart-shaped balloon around to reveal a pin taped to the balloon. "But then, here comes the backstabbin'," The girl makes the two balloons collide, popping the yellow balloon. She then releases the heart-shaped balloon, which was grabbed by Pinkie. "About the only girl in this school you can trust less than Sunset Shimmer is Rainbow Dash." "Rainbow Dash?" Twilight questioned. "She's the captain of, like, every team at Canterlot High," Pinkie answered while bouncing behind and past Twilight and the Bladers on an inflated yellow balloon, which pops on the fourth bounce. "She's also the captain of sayin' she's gonna do somethin' for ya, and then turnin' around and not even botherin' to show up," Applejack added, sounding clearly annoyed. "Thanks for the advice, Applejack, but this is something I really need to do," Twilight said, not knowing that she carelessly dropped a name. The Bladers face palmed at Twilight's slip-up, but at least they now know that the country girl was named Applejack. "Huh, suit yourself." Applejack said, then realized that Twilight somehow knew her name. "Hey, how'd you know my name is Applejack?" She asked with a bit of suspicion. Twilight finally realized her slip-up and tried to justify it. "Um, I uh..." She laughed nervously. "Didn't you say?" "Nnnope," The boy confirmed as he brought in another case of apple cider. Pinkie grabbed a bottle, popped the cap off, and started chugging it down. "Well, it sure was nice meeting you both," Twilight said as she shook Applejack's hand. "I'm sure I'll be seeing you around!" She and Spike proceeded to leave the gym via the west exit. The Bladers followed suit, leaving behind a very confused Pinkie Pie and Applejack. Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria "What happened back there? You were name-dropping, almost as if you knew them!" Aiger asked the question that was bugging him and his Blader friends, breaking the silence. "...Remember when we first met Fluttershy and was surprised when I first heard her name?" Twilight answered with a question. The Bladers nodded. "Well, I know a friend from Equestria who looks just like her." "What's her name?" Valt asked, curious about the pony's identity. "...It's Fluttershy." The Bladers were shocked at Twilight's answer. "Seriously?!" They exclaimed in unison. Twilight nodded. "Back in Equestria, she's a Pegasus and her Element of Harmony is the Element of Kindness." Shu pondered about this for a few moments. "What about Pinkie and Applejack? Are they your friends too?" "Yeah, they are. They're both Earth Ponies back in Equestria and the Elements of Laughter and Honesty respectively." Now it was Valt's turn to ask a question. "What about Rainbow Dash? What's her Element?" "Rainbow Dash is a cyan-furred Pegasus with magenta eyes and a scruffy rainbow-colored mane and tail. She's the Element of Loyalty." Aiger listed off the Elements of Harmony in his head, then realized something was missing. "Wait, you said that there are six Elements, right?" Twilight nodded to Aiger's question. "Who's Generosity, then?" "That would be Rarity," Spike immediately perked up at the mention of the word 'Rarity'. "She's a white unicorn with blue eyes and a curly violet mane and tail. Any more questions?" The Bladers declined as their questions had been answered. They may have gotten their questions answered, but now Twilight was the one with questions in her head, the most prominent one being 'How in Equestria are they not friends?' TO BE CONTINUED... Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Picking up where we last left off, Twilight, Spike (who is still in Twilight's bag), and the Bladers walked down the hallways of the school with students chatting away after meeting Pinkie Pie and Applejack in the school's gym and the Bladers finding out that the girls they just met are the human counterparts of Twilight's friends who are the bearers of the Elements of Harmony. They took a left turn and found themselves in a dimly-lit dead-end hallway as Spike popped his head out of Twilight's bag. "This hallway's giving me the creeps," Aiger was the first to comment, shuddering as he saw an open locker door creak as it opened a bit more. "Tell me about it," Spike agreed. There was a brief silence before a familiar and not-so-friendly voice chimed in. "Can't believe I didn't recognize you earlier." The group looked back to see Sunset leaning on a locker door with a rather nasty smirk on her face, and the Bladers weren't too happy to see her. 'Oh great, it's Sunset,' Aiger thought and groaned inwardly. "Shoulda known Princess Celestia would send her prized pupil here after my crown, and her little dog, too." "It's my crown!" Twilight retorted, but Sunset just waved it off. "Whatever. This is just a minor setback for me. You don't know the first thing about this place, and I already rule it." "If that's so, why do you even need my crown? You went to an awful lot of trouble to switch it with the one that belongs here," Twilight countered. "Pop quiz: what happens when you bring an Element of Harmony into an alternate world?" Sunset asked. "I think I know what would happen," Aiger answered, getting Sunset's attention. "The Elements of Harmony are powerful magic artifacts, right?" He asked, earning a nod from her. "If it falls into the wrong hands (namely you)," This earned a glower from her, but he continued. "And no one knows how to stop it, then everyone there is probably doomed." Sunset was honestly a bit stunned, but she snapped out of it and turned to Twilight. "Seriously? You let a kid answer for you?" The bacon-haired girl laughed mockingly as Aiger crossed his arms with a disapproving look on his face, a bit offended at her comment. He created his first Bey, Z Achilles, all by himself! ...Well, almost. His little sister, Naru, took the photos needed to finalize its design. "And you're supposed to be Princess Celestia's star student? Then again, what were the chances she'd find somepony as bright as me to take under her wing after I decided to leave Equestria? Bit embarrassing that you were the best she could do." Spike then bark-growled, as if protesting against Sunset's insult. "Oh, and I'd keep an eye on your mutt. Hate for him to be... taken away from you." "Is that a threat?" Spike asked as he curled his paw into a fist. "Oh, of course not," Sunset replied in mock denial before Spike barks then growls at her. She puts a finger on Spike's mouth as she said, "But I'd cut down on the chatter if I were you. Don't want everyone to know you two don't belong here, now would you? You wanna be a princess here? Please," she then started to walk away. "You don't know the first thing about fitting in." After ensuring Sunset was out of sight and out of earshot and as Valt, Shu and Spike comforted Twilight, Aiger muttered what the group was thinking: "That girl is getting on my nerves." After walking for a while, Twilight felt hungry, so she and the Bladers decided to find something for her to eat. Fortunately, they found a vending machine at the end of a hallway with a left and right turn and approached it. The vending machine was green with swirls of a lighter green, purple, and pink. The buttons ranged from A1 to F5. Twilight looked for something to eat, when two items caught her eye (which didn't go unnoticed by the Bladers since they weren't doing anything): a plastic container with crackers and a peanut butter dip, and a steelish blue carton with a strawberry and an orange slice over a white upside-down trapezoid on the front. Twilight smiled at the prospect of having some food in her stomach, but that faded when she realized that she didn't know how to get them. The Bladers then saw the weirdest attempts in getting a snack from a vending machine: trying to rip it open, trying to push it open, and the weirdest of all, trying to literally kick it open in a quadruped stance. Before she could make any headway in her third attempt, Shu grabbed her arm and pulled her back to her feet. "Why did you stop me? I was about to kick those snacks down," Twilight asked, confused on why the white-haired Blader stopped her. "First off, kicking a vending machine might break it. Second off, you have to pay money for it to give you the items you want," Shu answered before reaching inside his trench coat. He then brings out a coin purse that matches his coat. "Here, allow me to demonstrate," He reached into his coin purse and pulled out two U.S. quarters as Twilight watched in curiosity. He then inserted a quarter into the coin slot. He looked at the code for the crackers with peanut butter dip which is C2 (No, it's not the drink brand C2). He pressed the button with the same code and the crackers moved forward and dropped from its slot. He repeated this with the other quarter in his hand, albeit using it for the carton next to the crackers whose code was C3. He opened the door below the display, fished out the items the machine dispensed, and handed them to Twilight. "Here you go." "Thank you," Twilight said as she accepted the snacks and started eating them. Shu just nodded in response. Twilight's expression then morphed into a worried one as Spike popped out of her bag once more. "Sunset Shimmer is right," Her worried expression then became a downcast one. "I don't know the first thing about this place," She then walked down the left side of the split hallway, the Bladers following suit. "If I'm gonna really fit in and win votes, we need to do some research." "Research?" Spike asked, confused at Twilight's statement. "This place has a school. I have to believe it's got a..." Twilight stopped at an open pair of double doors which reveals a... "...library!" She, Spike, and the Bladers then entered the library. The Bladers were absolutely awestruck at the size of Canterlot High's library as its size makes Beigoma Academy's library insignificant by comparison! The library seems to span at least two stories. The roof here is a glass ceiling, allowing for natural lighting. Shelves are arranged in circles along the library's walls, and in the center of the first floor is a computer area for student use. After getting over their awe of the library's size, Aiger spoke up, stumped about what they're going to do next. "So... now what?" Shu opened his mouth to answer, but Valt beat him to it. "We split off in pairs." This got the group's attention as Valt turned to Shu and Twilight. "Shu, Twilight, you two go for the books." "No problem." "Got it." He then turned his attention to Aiger. "Aiger, you and I are gonna have to use the computers over there." He pointed at the computers at the center of the room. "Sure thing." "We've have until closing time to get as much information as we can, so let's make every second count, okay?" Everyone nodded, then split off to do their thing. BGM: "Where To Today?" from "Sonic Runners" What followed next was a montage of different things that the pairs did in the library: Valt and Aiger meeting the librarian, Ms. Cheerilee, and three girls by the name of Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle, Shu and Twilight carrying a differently sized stack of books each (Twilight's stack being almost double the amount of Shu's stack), Twilight falling over due to the excessive weight of the books (this earned her a cringe face from Shu and a shush from Cheerilee) leading her to pick up the books she dropped with her mouth (until Spike pointed it out), then her hands (and Shu lightening her load), and Twilight trying (and failing) to use a photocopier properly, launching her towards an organized pile of books, leaving Shu to close the lid afterwards (she hit the photocopy button without closing the lid). End of BGM and Montage In the blink of an eye, nighttime had struck in the library. While Valt and Aiger were snoozing off, a drowsy Twilight and Shu yawned as they closed their current book. It may as well been their last book for the night as a feminine voice from the PA system sounded: "The library will be closing in five minutes." Twilight gasped as she remarked, "I hadn't even thought about where we're gonna sleep tonight!" "Yeah. Researching CAN get tiring after long periods of time," Shu responded as he rubbed his left eye. This woke up the snoozing Bladers. "So, does that mean we're gonna have to sleep here at the library tonight?" Aiger asked, half-asleep. "Yeah, looks like it," Valt replied, just as drowsy as Aiger. Spike, who was reading a book under the table, however, seems to have a solution as he walked out of the table and up the stairs leading to the second floor. "Don't worry, I've got us covered." Curious, Twilight and the Bladers followed the dragon-turned-canine as he led them to a piece of tarp covering something. "It's a little [cough, cough] dusty, but it doesn't seem like anybody comes up here," Spike stated as he removed the tarp, revealing multiple stacks of books arranged to make a bed. The quartet sat down on the book bed as Twilight considered what Spike did, eventually smiling at him. "It's perfect, Spike," the teenager commended her assistant before the Bladers could make a comment. After a cute little moment, Spike asked the important question. "So, how did your research go?" "I found this book," Twilight responded, holding out a blue book with a yellow horseshoe tilted to make the letter C, obviously standing for Canterlot. "It's called a yearbook. It seems to be something they use to keep a record of things that have happened at the school. Look," she said as she flipped through the pages, eventually stopping at a page that caught her and the males' attention. The page had a photo of a younger Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and two girls the Bladers hadn't seen before. Twilight pointed out each girl in the picture. "That's Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and I'm gonna bet the girl on the far right is Rarity." Aiger eyed the rainbow-haired girl and the purple, curly-haired girl, the former giving him an athletic vibe and the latter giving him a fashionista vibe. "So the girl with the rainbow hair is Rainbow Dash and the girl with purple, curled hair is Rarity, right?" he inquired. Twilight nodded as it was true. "I see." Out of the blue, Spike swiped the book from Twilight's hands. "There's a Rarity here?!" He exclaimed excitedly. The canine noticed his excitement at the mention of the word "Rarity" and gave the book back to Twilight, a sly look on her face, a confused look on Aiger's, and a "Wait, don't tell me..." look from Valt and Shu, who seemed to know what's going on with Spike's burst of excitement. "Uh, I mean, uh... interesting photo." "It's interesting because they look like they're friends," Twilight noted. "They do look like our friends, but I thought we'd figured that out already," Spike remarked. The Bladers sweatdropped. 'I don't think that's what she meant, Spike,' Aiger thought. Twilight noticed this and decided to clarify. "No, I mean... they look like they're friends with each other, but it doesn't seem like they're friends now." "Not so much," Spike agreed. "That's a big 'No' from me," Aiger agreed as well. "I just can't help but get the feeling that Sunset Shimmer had something to do with it," Twilight commented as she lied down on the book bed, the Bladers following suit. "I wouldn't put it past her," Spike said, pulling the tarp over himself and his human companions as a makeshift blanket. "But she wanted your crown 'cause she's planning on doing something even worse! If you're gonna stop her, you have to focus on making friends here. Can't worry about why these girls aren't friends anymore. Even if they [yawn] do remind you of your Ponyville friends." 'Hmm... this Ponyville place seems to be important to them. Maybe that's where they live in Equestria right now, or something,' Aiger noticed. "You're right, Spike. [sigh] Eye on the prize," Twilight agreed. "Yeah, can't forget about why you two are here," Aiger added, the group nodding. "Welp, we've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow, so it's about time we rest. [yawn] Goodnight, you guys." "Yeah, goodnight." "You too, Aiger." "Sleep tight, everybody." "Don't let the bed bugs bite." And with that, the group began their slumber under the moon... except for Aiger. He's still wide awake and looking at the moon in the beautiful night sky. He took out his Bey and reflected on what took place in these past hours: arriving in Canterlot City with Valt and Shu, meeting Twilight, Spike, and the human counterparts of their friends in Equestria (and finding out that those same friends aren't friends anymore), repeating encounters with Sunset and having to put up with her attitude, meeting Principal Celestia and signing Twilight up for the upcoming Fall Formal, and doing some research to help Twilight blend in more. Looking back at these events, Aiger knew what his friends had to do. "Getting back home can wait. What matters right now is helping Twilight get her crown back," Aiger said to no one in particular, then proceeds to put his Bey back into one of his jacket's pockets and go back to sleep. What he didn't notice however, is that Twilight saw the entire thing. She wondered what the round object Aiger was holding in his hand (most likely a prized possession), but she set her curiosity aside at the moment for two reasons: a. She wanted to ask him the object is, but it was late at night and she should really get some rest, and b. She trusts him enough that she knows he'll tell her what the object is at some point in the future. With her curiosity set aside, she went back to sleep. Element of Kindness! Song: Turbo (Opening Theme of Beyblade Burst Turbo) by Nathan Sharp aka NateWantsToBattle Fanfare: Beyblade Burst Turbo - Episode Title Card The screen shifts to a nebula-like section in space with some words in bold, white letters. Aiger narrates the words on the screen. "Sunset's Threat and Research at the Library!" Canterlot High School, Canterlot City, Human Equestria Picking up where we last left off, Twilight, Spike (who is still in Twilight's bag), and the Bladers walked down the hallways of the school with students chatting away after meeting Pinkie Pie and Applejack in the school's gym and the Bladers finding out that the girls they just met are the human counterparts of Twilight's friends who are the bearers of the Elements of Harmony. Author's Note BGM: Credits - Beyblade Burst Turbo At last, Chapter 4 is finished! I'm so sorry for the long wait between chapters, I lost my motivation for a bit and I had a number of schoolwork and homework to go through (school time's arrived here in the Philippines), but with some people spamming comments in my story for me to make a new chapter (I'm looking at you, cjuoni0903), I decided to come back and continue this story! I think you guys know what's gonna happen next, so I'll catch you guys next time! And as Bladers 'round the world say, THREE! TWO! ONE! LET IT... RIP!
