Soaring Emotions

Rainbow wakes up to see Soarin sound asleep beside her, still nude from the previous night's escapades Rainbow smiles as she uncovers herself and gets up, picking up her bra and panties from last night she goes to the bathroom to put them on.

Once she gets her undergarments on, she comes out of the bathroom and heads downstairs. There she puts on a pot of coffee and sits at the table, waiting for it to brew.

She lets out a yawn while pondering what to make for breakfast. Her eyes are drawn to a box of Little Derby Honeybuns. "Hmm, that sounds good." Rainbow says to herself as she takes out two and places them each on a plate. She then opens the fridge to get the butter, putting a small pat of butter on each of the honeybuns. She then puts the butter up before putting the first honeybun in the microwave for thirty seconds.

Before she could hit the start button, Soarin came down, dressed in only his boxers. "Morning, Rainbow, what are you doing?" Soarin asked.

"Oh, morning Soarin, I just got a bun in the oven." Rainbow said as she hit start.

Soarin's eyes shot open and dilated. "WHAT?!?!" He shouted in surprise. "This quick, b-but I used a condom, w-was there some minuscule leak or…..?" Soarin was cut off by the microwave oven beeping.

Rainbow pulled out the first honeybun and put the other one on, she served the first one to Soarin, handing him a fork while trying to hold back laughter.

"Oh, you meant." Soarin realized his mistake as he and Rainbow burst out laughing.

The microwave went off and Rainbow got her breakfast as she sat down in front of Soarin. "Sorry if I scared ya, but it sure was a good one." Rainbow admitted as she dug into her honeybun.

"Yeah, it was. Thanks for breakfast by the way." Soarin said as he dug into his.

"You were really good last night Soarin, I'm glad we could lose our virginity to each other." Rainbow said, blushing as she opened up about her feelings.

Soarin blushed as he ate. "Me too, Rainbow. I'm honored you wanted to do it with me." Soarin replied as he finished eating.

"I hate to do it, but I better get home." Soarin said as he put his plate in the sink.

"Ok, text me when you get home." Rainbow replied as he went upstairs to get dressed.

Soarin comes down a few minutes later, dressed in the clothes he came with. "Alright, Rainbow. I'll see you around." Soarin said as he walked out the door, Rainbow waving him off as she heard the door shut.

Rainbow sat there in her kitchen, she slowly ate her honeybun, her head resting on her free hand as she thought of what to do today. Getting an idea, she picks up her phone and sends out a text. She then finishes eating and places her plate in the sink. Quickly washing the dishes, Rainbow cleaned the plates and forks before putting them in the dish rack. After doing the dishes she heads upstairs and goes into the bathroom to take a shower.

After a nice two-minute shower, Rainbow comes out to get dressed, she puts on a fresh pair of panties, a bra, a blue shirt, and some blue jeans. After putting on her shoes she gets up to get her wallet and heads downstairs. She feeds Tank and heads out the door.

Flying into Ponyville, she was greeted by a plethora of friendly faces. Ms. Cheerilee waved at her with a cheery smile as she led a class of young'uns to the train station for an out-of-town field trip.

Rainbow arrives at her destination and sees her friends waiting for her outside the door. Walking up to them, she smiles.

"Hey guys, been a while since we've hung out huh?" Rainbow says as she strikes up a conversation.

"Yeah it has, but I understand." Twilight said as she closed a book she had been reading before she arrived.

"Yeah, I probably should have told you all I had a week off, but you know." Rainbow replied as Pinkie came up to her.

"Ohhh Rainbow, did you get some new clothes, new shampoo, you're absolutely glowing today?" Pinkie asked as she examined her prismatic friend.

Rainbow blushed bright red when Pinkie said "glowing", the word practically being in slow mo as she begins to sweat a bit remembering that night. "Nah, I just got a good night's sleep." Rainbow said, not fully lying as Pinkie looked into her eyes.

"Okie Doki Loki." Pinkie said as she backed off, letting Rainbow open the door as they all headed into the bowling alley.

As everyone enters the door, they are immediately met with the sounds of pins being knocked down. Taking a deep breath, Rainbow takes in the smell of the building as she goes to the counter to pay for a lane.

Mr. Kingpin looked up and nodded, taking the bits he placed in the cash register and registers them at lane number six. "Shoe sizes?" He asks.

Before Rainbow could answer, Pinkie came in and answered. "Rarity, Rainbow, and I wear a size nine, Twilight and Fluttershy wear a size nine and a half, and Applejack wears a size ten." Pinkie said as she smiled, pleased with herself.

Rainbow looked at her in surprise. "What don't you know about us Pinkie?" Rainbow asked as Mr. Kingpin put the shoes on the counter.

"Hmm, I don't know y'alls poker faces." Pinkie said as they all grabbed their shoes and gathered at their lane.

Rainbow sat down and put on her shoes after which she put their names into the computer before selecting her ball.

Rainbow went first, rolling her ball down the lane she got a strike and smiled, pleased with herself as Pinkie took her turn.

Sitting back down, Applejack looked at Rainbow. "So how's Wonderbolt duty?" She asked as Fluttershy got up for her turn.

"It's been great, we have a show coming up soon, but this week we were off. How's the orchard?" Rainbow replied and asked her friend?

"It's been mighty fine, the apples have been getting nice and crisp." Applejack replied as their friends took their turns, ending with Twilight who got a spare.

"That's good." Rainbow replied as she went again, rolling her ball down the lane again to get a second strike.

"You girls thirsty, cider is on me?" Rainbow asked as she looked at her friends who all nodded.

As Pinkie began her role, Rainbow went up to the counter and bought six bottles of hard cider. Bringing them back to the lane, she handed each one out, one by one.

Rainbow's third turn came up and as she took a deep breath, she rolled her ball down the lane and got a turkey. She jumped up and cheered with joy as she sat back down, taking a chug of her cider.

"Easy there Rainbow, don't want to get drunk there." Applejack said, slight teasing in her voice causes Rainbow to laugh.

"Yeah I know, don't worry I don't plan to," Rainbow said as she finished her bottle and went to throw it away as her friends continued to bowl.

Rainbow and her friends bowl for a good, two hours, finally ending when Twilight takes her final roll.

They all decide not to add up the scores and they head out of the building. "So, what do you want to do now, Rainbow?" Pinkie asked excitedly as she bounced up and down.

"I think I might head home, maybe read a book or take a nap." Rainbow said as she began to hover in the air.

"Yeah, we should be gettin' home too, I'm sure we have stuff we need to do." Applejack says as she waves goodbye and walks towards the orchard.

Rainbow waves goodbye to her friends and returns home, unlocking the door she walks inside and makes her way to the couch. Plopping down on the sofa she kicks off her shoes and places her sock covered feet on the coffee table and lets out a contented sigh as she sinks down into the couch.
