Romance a Dazzling Sunset

It’s been about two weeks after Valentine’s Day. And so far, things have been going really well for both Yabuki and Twilight, or known to her friends as Sci-Twi, considering that her friends don’t want to confuse her with Princess Twilight. Which is understandable, considering that the difference between them is one of them is wearing glasses and one of them lets her hair down and not in a ponytail. How no one can tell the difference is beyond anyone else.

Anyway…since Yabuki and Twilight went on their outing for Valentine’s Day, a spark of romance had developed between the two of them. Them being in the Ferris-wheel allowed Yabuki to confess how he felt about Twilight. The two of them had enjoyed their time on Valentine’s Day. But when he spent the night with her, Twilight and Yabuki ended up having an intimate moment. But as they did, Twilight’s magic acted up, resulting her body to experience a bit of growth, which caused the two of them to enjoy the strangest, and yet best moment between them ever.

Now the past two weeks, the two of them would enjoy each other’s company. They would spend however much time they have at school. Then after school they would go straight home and help each other with their homework before they could go out and have a time to themselves, whilst at the same time, during their study breaks, they would play chess, which both Twilight’s parents found very amusing, for there wasn’t a single person who could match Twilight in a chess game. Sometimes they would go eat at certain diners, sometimes they would go to the library, and sometimes they would go to the movies.

But during the weekends, the two of them would try to spend most times at the park or the picnic area where the two of them would spend their lunchtimes there. Sometimes they would go to Twilight’s shed to do some science experiments, which Yabuki tried his best to catch up in order to help her out, which Twilight found flattering. But the nights, when their parents think they were doing an all-night study session, they would secretly want to have sex, and whilst Twilight was able to control her magic, she would use it every now and then to help make Yabuki more aroused, which seemed to do the trick. She found it very amusing by doing so.

One day on a Sunday, after going on three dates, Twilight was at home relaxing whilst she waited for Yabuki to come over for a visit. She eagerly waited for him. Whilst Yabuki on the other hand, continued to walk down the sidewalk and made his way towards Twilight’s house whilst he was listening to his music.

Yabuki began to sing a few songs that caught his attention. But every now and then he’d listen to music that the Rainbooms sang. Thankfully he helped the girls record their songs, now each of them has their own CD’s and Albums.

As he was walking down the road, he suddenly felt like he bumped into someone, making him land on his butt on the ground.

“Ow, sorry about that.” said Yabuki as he rubbed his head after taking his earphones off.

“No, it’s alright.” said a familiar voice “I should’ve seen where I was going.”

The two looked at one another, and to Yabuki’s surprise, it was none other than Sunset.

“Sunset?” said Yabuki.

Sunset noticed Yabuki and was surprised to see him. “Oh, Yabuki.” said Sunset in an excited tone “Just who I wanted to see.”

“Really?” said Yabuki after he and Sunset stood up once they dusted themselves off “Why are you looking for me?”

“It’s really important.” said Sunset.

“What’s more important that you had to look for me?” asked Yabuki.

But then he noticed that she was blushing deeply, as if she really wanted to say something, but was too embarrassed to say anything.

“It’s best…” started Sunset “It’s best if we discuss this in private at Sugarcube Corner. Don’t feel comfortable out in the open.”

“Oh, okay then, sure.” said Yabuki “We’ll meet there at lunch time.”

“But uh…” said Sunset “We also need to bring Twilight there too.”

Now Yabuki was surprised, for if she wanted Twilight to be part of it then it must be serious.

“You sure?” said Yabuki.

“I am.,” said Sunset.

Yabuki thought about it, though he hated to drag Twilight out of her comfort zone. Sundays are her resting days and he didn’t want to take away her free time. But if Sunset wanted to see the both of them, then it’s truly important.

Yabuki sighed and said “Alright, I’ll get her. Meet us as Sugarcube Corner.”

Sunset left for the café whilst Yabuki headed back to Twilight’s place. He knew better than to interrupt her ‘twilight time” on a Sunday, but if Sunset needed to talk to both of them it must be very important.

Soon he made his way to Twilight’s house and knocked on the door. At first there was no noise, but the moment he knocked the second time, someone finally answered.

“It’s open!” said a voice.

Yabuki walked in and saw Spike sitting on the couch whilst having a few doggy treats and watching a movie called “Homeward bound”. Yabuki heard of that story, and it was surprisingly good, showing how far the pet’s loyalty would go just to be reunited with their owners.

Spike noticed Yabuki coming in after he closed the door. “Oh, hey Yabuki. What’s up?”

“All good Spike.” said Yabuki as he scratched behind the puppy’s ear, to which he enjoyed. “Have you seen Twilight around?”

“She’s back at her shed doing a science experiment.” said Spike “Why? Is something going on?”

“You could say that.” said Yabuki “Sunset wanted to talk to me and Twilight for some reason.”

“Really?” said Spike “But you know very well that Sundays are her ‘twilight time’, and she always wants to have her own thoughts to herself.”

“Convince Sunset of that.” said Yabuki “remember what happened last year?”

Spike shuddered and said “How could I forget that?”

“Anyway Spike, enjoy the movie.” said Yabuki before he walked to the backyard.

“Will do.” said Spike as he continued to watch the movie.

Yabuki soon made his way to the shed. The moment he stood near the door, he could hear Twilight humming a tune and enjoying herself. He couldn’t help but smile and shake his head at her adorable dorky side. Her Adorkable side.

He gently knocked on the door in order to not startle her. At first there was nothing. He knocked a little louder, but still nothing. He rolled his eyes, and realized that she was probably wearing her earphones to listen to music whilst working with science again. Having no choice, he decided to knock really loud.

“Please don’t hate me.” muttered Yabuki as he banged the door hard.

There was a slight crash inside, which took him by surprise. He opened the door and to his surprise, he saw Twilight on the ground, rubbing her head. She looked at the door and saw Yabuki.

“Oh, hi Yabuki.” said Twilight “What’s up?”

“I could ask you the same thing.” said Yabuki.

“I was in the middle of a science experiment.” said Twilight “But I uh…got distracted.”

“By an outside intruder or your hubby?” said Yabuki with a smirk.

Twilight couldn’t help but blush whilst giggling and said “I’d prefer the second option.”

Yabuki walked over to her and stood on all fours, allowing him to kiss Twilight, which she appreciated whilst she held onto his face. They slowly parted their lips with smiles on their faces.

“So, what can I do for you?” asked Twilight.

“I was on my to you when I bumped into Sunset.” said Yabuki.

“Really, what did she want?” asked Twilight.

“She said that she wanted to talk,” said Yabuki “But she wants the two of us to go to Sugarcube Corner to talk.”

“Really? The two of us?” said a confused Twilight.

“Yeah, which is weird.”

‘should we go over to see what she wants?” asked Twilight once Yabuki helped her up.

“I think we should. It might be important.” said Yabuki.

“First let me get dressed first.” said Twilight as she was about to walk out.

“Want me to join you?” said Yabuki with a smirk.

Twilight blushed, then slowly sheepishly smiled and said “I don’t think it’s a good idea with mom and dad home.”

“Oh yeah, right.” said Yabuki when he realized that today wasn’t exactly a good time.

Shortly after getting dressed, Yabuki and Twilight met up with Sunset at Sugarcube Corner. They walked in, where Sunset was greeting them whilst waving her hand to them. They walked over to Sunset and sat near her, whilst they were having some sandwiches for lunch.

“So Sunset, what’s this about?” said Twilight.

“Well, see…” said Sunset, blushing as she didn’t want to say anything out loud “It’s about what happened during Valentine’s Day.”

Both Yabuki and Twilight looked at Sunset with flexed eyebrows, wondering where this was going.

“You know, during your…” she tried to say it, but found it harder than she thought. She then leaned over and whispered “Whenever she transforms whenever she was aroused.”

Twilight did a spit-take and was taken aback by this whilst looking at Sunset in shock, even Yabuki chocked on his French fry and spat it out when he heard Sunset talk about it.

“Why would you talk about that?!” Twilight hissed whilst whispering at the same time “And how did you know about it?”

“I uh…” said Yabuki as he rubbed the back of his head “I kinda told her.”

“You what?!” whispered Twilight loudly “Why the heck would you do that?!”

“Who did you think convinced me to spend time with you on Valentine’s Day?” said Yabuki.

Twilight was again shocked, whilst looking at Sunset and said “You convinced him?”

“I did.” said Sunset, before she cleared her throat and said “I was really worried about you after Timber broke up with you, and I only wanted to see you happy. But when he told me of how your magic acted up.”

“Which I still have no idea how that’s possible.” said Yabuki.

“I even asked Princess Twilight about it.” said Sunset “She said that your Equestrian magic was the same level as hers and very strong. And somehow, your magic has become a part of you. Now every time whenever you get aroused during your uh, ahem, fun time, your body tends to experience changes. And a partial personality.”

“But I was able to control it when Cadance suddenly came in,” said Twilight, which shocked Sunset.

“She uh, wanted to check on Twilight to see how she was doing,” said Yabuki whilst explaining everything. “And she ended up wanting to be part of it too. And uh…it turned out that she and Vice-Principle Luna, who was their babysitter back then, wanted part of the action too.”

Twilight continued and said “And during that time, I had full control of it. Sure, every now and then I keep transforming by doing that, but I still didn’t have any idea why I kept doing that. Until you mentioned what the other me said, it kind of makes sense.”

“So why do you ask?” said Yabuki.

“Well,” said Sunset as she blushed again, ‘seeing that Twilight transformed during your fun time I…well…see…?”

They could tell that she wanted to say something, but had a hard time doing it. She then took a deep breath and said “I wanted to experience it too.”

“So why not do it with Adagio?” asked Yabuki ‘seeing that she’s from Equestria too.”

“She is,” said Sunset “But I wanted to…experience with him.”

“Him who?” asked Yabuki.

As he took a sip from his drink, he noticed Sunset blushed heavily again, but this time, it was different. She was staring at him. At first, he didn’t know why. But after fifteen seconds, his head finally clicked, causing him to widen his eyes and spat his drink to the other side, then stood up and shock.

“YOU MEAN ME?!!” said Yabuki in shock.

Everyone is silent in the shop as they looked at him, which made him sheepishly sit down whilst Twilight also looked at him in shock.

“What…but…but…why?!” said Twilight as she couldn’t believe her own friend had suggested something like that.

“Well for one thing,” started Sunset “He’s the only one we trust because he was able to keep our activities a secret.”

The two of them thought about it, with Twilight saying ‘true.”

“Plus, we all know he’d never take advantage of any of us and he’s the sweetest guy in school.” said Sunset.

“Really?” said Yabuki in disbelief.

“Trust me, you are.” said Sunset. “Look, I wouldn’t do this if this wasn’t serious, and I know that you two are an item and the last thing I want to do is steal someone else’s special someone I just…want to experience it myself and see if it’s possible.”

Yabuki didn’t know how to respond to this whilst he held his head. For he and Twilight had just started their relationship. And the last thing he ever wanted was to break her heart, or make her feel upset. He felt a hand on his shoulder, gaining his attention and saw Twilight, giving him a concerned look. She knew that he would never hurt her. And she understood why he was hesitant. But seeing that a friend had requested this, she felt obligated into trying. Yabuki reluctantly agreed, but if Twilight was okay with it, then Sunset would get the chance. But he gestured Twilight would answer for him, which she understood.

“Alright, he’ll do it.” said Twilight “But what else is the catch?”

“Uh…” said Sunset as she was about to say something really crazy whilst both Twilight and Yabuki drank their drinks “Adagio wants to be a part of it.”

That made the two of them do another spit-take again. But this time at each other. The two of them looked at Sunset in shock as Yabuki said “Are you nuts?! You know very well Adagio and I didn’t get along after what happened at the Battle of the Bands!!”

“I know, I know,” said Sunset, trying to calm him down. “After they were beaten, I tried to reach out to them. Then shortly after that incident in Equestria Land, I was able to reach out to them. I was able to help turn their lives around. Adagio and I got really close and she and the rest of the Dazzlings are working hard every day trying to make things right. And Adagio also wants to make things right with you too.”

“What did they try to do to you?” asked Twilight.

“They uh…” said Yabuki as he felt uncomfortable saying it “They used me as their personal sex toy.”

Twilight gawked at that, then said “Okay, now I see why you’re reluctant into trying.”

She looked at Sunset and said “I’ll allow it. But…”

She pointed at Sunset and said “But I’m sticking around to keep an eye on her just in case she tries anything.”

Sunset sighed and said “Alright, I understand.”

“When should we get started?” asked Yabuki.

“About next Saturday,” said Sunset “We have a free day and our schedules are cleared. Now all we need to do is to make sure nothing happens.”

“But I’ll still tag along.” said Twilight whilst slowly holding Yabuki’s hand “After what he went through…”

“I’ll be sure to tell her, don’t worry.” said Sunset before she stood up and said “I’ll see you guys again soon.”

Soon Sunset left the café and returned to her apartment. But at the same time, Yabuki walked Twilight home.

“I can’t believe she’s asking me what I think she’s asking.” said Yabuki.

“I can’t believe you told her.” said Twilight.

“Hey, first rule of friendship, no lies.” said Yabuki.

Twilight groaned, for even though she didn’t like it, he was right. It’s not right to lie to each other, especially to friends.

“But I’ll still be around.” said Twilight “I’ll be a plus one.”

“And…” said Yabuki as it was a bitter taste in his mouth “It’ll also give us a chance to know Adagio. I just hope she’s willing to listen.”

“I’m sure she’s changed.” said Twilight.

“I wouldn’t be too sure.” said Yabuki “A zebra doesn’t change its stripes; a leopard doesn’t change its spots and Snips and Snails never changes their underwear.”

Twilight looked at him with the biggest quirked eyebrow, as well as a disgusted look, with Yabuki saying “Trust me, I can tell the difference when it comes to laundry.”

Twilight shuddered for a moment as she tried to shake her thoughts, until Yabuki looked around and seeing that they were finally alone, allowed him to hold onto Twilight’s rear, taking her by surprise as she yelped whilst she blushed.

“Yabuki…” muttered Twilight “Not in public.”

‘don’t worry, we’re alone.” said Yabuki as he removed his hand and held her close. “But it still doesn’t feel right that I go out with another girl. The last thing I wanted to do is to hurt you. You mean a lot to me.”

“And you to me.” said Twilight as she leaned her head against Yabuki’s shoulder. “Between you and me, I’m not so big on the idea either. That’s why I wanna keep an eye on you.”

She then blushed and said “Plus if what she says it’s true, I’m wondering if her body will react to Equestrian Magic, even Adagio if possible.”

“For science?” said Yabuki with a smirk.

Twilight slightly bumped her hips against him, making the two chuckle.

“I appreciate you watching over me.” said Yabuki.

“Thanks.” said Twilight. “So, seeing that my Sunday was interrupted, wanna spend some time together.”

Yabuki held her close and said “I’d like nothing more.”

The two continued back to Twilight’s house, deciding to spend some time with one another before the day has ended.
