Chapters Let's get started...
It was a normal day, like every other day: boring, repetitive and without colors.
Every hour that passes I turn my phone on to see If there's a message, but nothing...
I think I have bipolar disorder, because there are days that I'm really happy, feeling like the best thing ever... And there's days that I feel pain... Empty... Wanting to disappear and never come back.
I'm seeking for reasons to stay fighting.
Of course, there are times that good things happen, like talking with my best friend or finding something to do. Sometimes I try to create music with my old keyboard and acoustic guitar, and it's really fun! The notes, the gorgeous melody... Everything makes me smile.
Some months ago, I started to watch My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, and it helps a lot making me stay... You know, alive inside. The ponies are happy and colorful... Everything makes sense... And they don't need to be afraid of anything, cause together, they are kinda... Invincible.
I just want to touch the vivid colors and live in a peaceful place... as if it were ever possible...
I don't know why, but I don't like to see twilight with wings, grown up and being the princess, so I only watch seasons 1 to 3, because in my opinion they are the best ones. I don't know if I can call myself a "full brony" cause I didn't watch season 4 to 9, but who cares. My best friend David is a brony too. It's a perfect match, because he likes the same things that I like.
Unfortunately, he moved to another city. I don't know if visiting him is possible, because it's really far from here.
So at evening, there's me: watching My Little Pony, getting deluded in every minute that I watch... Lying to myself like a kid, saying that one day... I'll visit Equestria and meet mane 6.
That's why I learned some things in after effects, to make mlp in real life videos. I'm not a professional, but that worked! Yes, I still have only 5 subscribers in one of my YouTube channels called "Am I a Furry?"... but in my point of view, it worked very well!
One of my biggest wishes is to wake up in Equestria as a pony and live a normal pony life, being able to be one of Rainbow Dash's friends.
Since last 3 nights I'm trying to have lucid dreams, cause I want to meet them, hug them, run around Equestria and have fun with all ponies... At least for a second... It would be the best day ever...
I want to live in the world of lucid dreams... A dimension where everything is magical... without worrying about death. With fictional beings who truly love and accept me.
I put my notebook on the table and lay down on the bed, mentally repeating phrases.
"I'm in Equestria. I'm going to meet everypony..."
"I want to live in a dimension where anything can be possible"
"I want my life to make sense"
"I want all ponies to be in my side"
An extremely loud sound happens, literally making me almost have a heart attack.
Silence dominates everything, then I hear voices.
"look guys! there's somepony on the ground!"
"who in tarnation is this?"
"I don't know darling, but I'm not going to step in this dirty ground he's in"
"Is he hurt? did he fall?"
"do we know him? Is he one of our friends?"
"I don't know, but he doesn't look so cool to me"
Wait a second, "somepony"? "darling"? "cool"? Something inside says to me that I listened to that voices before, but... when? where? I can't remember!
"Am I in a... desert?"
Silence keeps for some seconds and a pink face shows up.
"Hey! Are you where?" (Another time, almost an heart attack).
I scream as loud as I can and then I see more 5 pony-like creatures (there's purple, orange, white, yellow and blue), screaming right after me. The orange one kicks me right into my face. That hurt a LOT.
After a moment, I can listen to that first voice I heard before, when I was... dead on the floor, I think?
I open my eyes and I see that I'm on a bed.
"oh, you're finally awake! Are you feeling better?"
She's very familiar, so I stare at her, without knowing why.
"Uhh, is there something wrong?"
"No... I don't remember anything, but I think I know you... You're so familiar... What is your name?"
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship!"
"I heard that before... But when?"
I try to remember, failing.
"I see you have a notebook, so do you like to write?"
"Uhh... Yes!"
"Anyways, it's normal to be confused after falling in the floor and... * Giggles * being kicked in the face"
"Oh, of course, I remember that kick... I almost died!"
Both of us laugh.
"I'm sorry about my friend Applejack, she acts fast... But not as fast as Rai-"
"Rainbow Dash?"
"Yes! Do you know her?"
"I don't know why I said that... I think I don't know any Rainbow Dash..."
"That's ok, you need to rest. If you need me, I'm going to be downstairs"
"Oh! My friend Spike wants to see you! He is a baby dragon, and he was very curious when you got here. I think you're going to like him"
"Come on, Spike! He's awake!"
"I'm coming!"
Then a small dragon gets upstairs. He is familiar too.
"Hey there, I'm spike, and I'm not a baby dragon!"
Everyone laughs.
"are you ok?"
"Uhh, yes! I think..."
"I heard that Applejack kicked you in the face... How are you even alive?"
"Hahaha I don't know"
"you're strong"
"Where did you came from? And what is your name? I've never seen you before..."
"I don't know, but I remember that I was sleeping and then I heard an extremely loud explosion..."
After this I look at my hands, and see hooves instead.
"AYY what is that!? Where are my hands!?"
"Excuse me, hands?"
I try to get up. I'm on 4 feet. Then I realize.
"Am I a PONY!? That's sick!!"
"Yea, he need to sleep. The kick was too hard"
"I was a human before, Right?"
"Uhh, what is a... "human", exactly?"
"Everything that I remember is... Uhh... a person who... Walks in 2 feet and stuff, I think"
"You mean... A type of dragon?"
"I can't explain... That's all I can remember..."
"Uhh... We have a lot of books here in the library, we must have one about what you're saying"
"Yes! Let's try to find one!"
For an hour, we tried to find a book about humans, but nothing.
"Nothing about what you're saying... I'm sorry..."
"That's ok... Like... you know, I don't know If you're going to believe me, but I think i'm in another dimension!"
"Are you sure? I think It it's pretty hard to happen"
I start to see some flashbacks, but i'm not sure If it's real.
"I don't know... I feel like I'm not from here... I'm saying the truth!"
"I believe you, I think."
"The girls are coming here to see If you're alright, but they'll be a little late because they're helping a pony who passed out. Is that ok to you?"
"Yes! Of course!"
"It's a telepathic communication spell"
"Ok then"
Some moments later...
"Hey everyone! Come on in! He's alright!"
"He says that he's a "human" that came from another dimension, but he's fine"
I hear a familiar voice saying "Ayy so I think Applejack hit him harder than usual"
"Yes, I told that to Twilight before"
I struggle to walk downstairs (cause walking on 4 feet isn't so normal to me), and I see all of them. For some reason, I feel hapiness.
"Howdy! Uhh..."
I didn't know what to say, because I was trying to process what was going on, so I stayed silent.
"Hello..."
"Sup?"
"Hi friend that I don't know!"
"Hey Darling! Are you feeling better?"
"Hey there... I'm sorry partner... I didn't want to hurt you..."
"Don't worry, the pain is leaving... and It wasn't your fault! I scared everypony in that moment"
"We're all sorry. but ok, introduce yourselves to our new friend!"
"I'm Fluttershy... I take care of the animals..."
"My name Pinkie Pie! I like to have fun!"
"I am Rarity, I am a fashion dress maker"
"I'm Applejack, I take care of the apples"
"Heya, my name is Ra-"
"Rainbow... Dash? Uhh... You take care of the climate, right?"
I don't know why, but I was pretty sure it was right, and she gets a little spooked.
"Are you a... Stalker?"
"No! Something said that to me..."
Rainbow dash makes an untrustful face.
"I'm watching you"
"Don't worry, Rainbow Dash, he's our friend."
"So... Did you remind something?"
"I'm trying to remember... My life was... Uncolorful... Boring... Repetitive... And I was searching something... But I don't know what..."
"Spike said that you're an... "Hooman"? What is it?"
"I can't explain... I've forgotten even my own name..."
"That sucks, partner"
"Don't worry friend..."
"I'm with you, stalker"
"Everything's going to be ok, darling"
"We are going to have fun together, I pinkie promise!"
"Thank you all for this... I wish I remember who and what I was before."
Two months in a half passed, and my life has changed a lot. I study with Twilight, play games with Pinkie Pie, take care of the animals with Fluttershy, test some dresses with Rarity, cook apple recipes with Applejack, watch Rainbow Dash fly, and help cutie mark crusaders to find their talents.
It's so different than what I lived before... I see some flashbacks kinda often, now I remember that before I sleep, I wanted to go to somewhere... I think I'm in the place I wanted to be! So I'm Very happy knowing that it worked.
I also remember that I stayed bored everyday... Talking with plushies... Arguing with people online... Walking around my entire house till I feel pain in the legs...
But sometimes, randomly in the day, I hear some voices and a beep thing. I searched in one of Twilight's books, and this beep thing is called "multiparameter monitor". It's used to measure heart rate. But it doesn't make sense, because there's no one of this nearly. They only have it in hospitals.
Now the voices, they say I'm going to be ok, and sometimes I can hear that voices... crying? Is this a good or a bad thing? Do I have schizophrenia or something? Nothing to complain. Everything that I should do now, is be thankful.
Today, I'm going to do a drama theater play with mane 6. I'm the main character! Hope everything goes ok.
"Break a leg!"
In the end, my character would fall to the ground. So I had to jump on a trampoline, which pretended to be the floor.
When I jumped, a blinding light showed up right into my eye. Again, I feel a strong wind in my face.
About 2 minutes later, I hear a powerful female voice.
"Hello, fellow human. I'm Princess Celestia"
When she says It... I start to remember every single thing, like waking up.
"You've been in a 2 month coma"
"The explosion that day, was a missile fired by mistake"
"It was very strong, but fortunately, you survived"
"They found you in the floor, with the eyes open"
"You don't need to worry about your house, the government reformed It for you"
So... The voices!! The heartbeat machine!! Everything makes sense now... Thank God I'm alive...
"You're much stronger than I thought, fellow human"
...
"You can be free now, or stay In-"
When she says it, the same light than before shone, interrupting her voice.
But... Stay where?
For some reason, I take a deep breath and gasp... opening my eyes again.
"He's awake... HE'S AWAKE!!"
"What happened? Was I dead?"
"Oh my Gosh... Brian! You're alive! Thank you, God!!"
"Are you really here? You're the voice! I heard you crying for days... You didn't abandon me!"
"Why would I do this? You're the best thing that could happen in my life!"
"Bro, you're not going to believe, I was in Equestria! I met everypony! I know, that was only a hallucination or a dream, but It was so real!"
"This must be so cool!" "Unfortunately you needed to stay in coma for this to happen"
We both laugh.
"In the end, Celestia said that I could choose to be free or stay in somewhere... What does it mean?"
"When she said that... I woke up... I couldn't choose"
"I think you chose to be free, because you're here. If you had chosen to stay, you would keep in Equestria"
"Oh... Ok..."
"I know that Equestria is much better than here, but... At least you went to there for 2 months!"
"In Equestria, it was actually 2 weeks!"
"Wow, that's crazy! The time is very long there"
"I know!"
Now a few years have passed. I have a new job that pays much better. I'm a pharmacist. I can finally visit my friend.
If I think hard... I still like Equestria...
I'm literally trying to find a way to come back there... When I said that to David he got mad.
"CELESTIA! I CHANGE MY MIND! I WANT TO COME BACK!!"
I scream till my throat hurts.
"Rainbow dash... Twilight... Fluttershy... Applejack... Pinkie... Rarity... I need you..."
I go to my room to search for some things that I could try.
...
"You didn't have time to choose before... Which one do you choose? Be free, or stay in this world?"
Wait, my friend was wrong!
"I want to be free!"
"Are you sure?"
"YES!"
...
"You chose to be free"
After coming back here I argued with David.
He looked so angry... Of course, all the time he stayed with me while I was in a coma was in vain.
I hope he understands it.

"And he falls right into the floor!"
Am I falling again!?
Opening my eyes (now for the last time, I swear), everything is in slow motion. Every single detail of my life, from the beggining till today, is in front of my eyes.
I see a trampoline.
When the theater play ends, I hug my friends as strong as I can.
"I remember every single thing! I'll explain in home!"
When we got home, I explained everything about my life, humans, and how did I go to Equestria.
"Oh, I brought this"
I showed my photo album and some other human photos that I have printed.
"So this is you as a human!"
"Humans are kinda cute!"
"You look fabulous, darling!"
"Humans are funny!"
"I think humans are almost 20% cooler"
"Wait, where's Applejack?"
"I just made my special Apple pie, partner!"
We all ate that tasty pie while I explained more about my life.
After some minutes, Rainbow Dash said she needed to do something. So she just flew out.
Now, I became friends with almost everypony!
I prepare myself to speak to all Equestria.
"After everything, I realize how better this dimension is than the one that I came from..."
"Open your eyes, to every single opportunity"
