Chapter 1 - Ponies of Starfleet, Part 1; What Remains

Load Full StoryNext Chapter

Prologue:

The Alien Quadrant... not a very complementary name. But it was where all Sapient life was forced. Or, rather, were all non humanoids were forced.

Oh there was the occasional ghetto, within the borders of the Terran Empire, but for the most part "Aliens" were pushed into the center of the Galaxy, to be forgotten.

It's almost Ironic, that the Doctor's Quadrant, and the Synth Quadrant, were forced here as well. As if the Terran Empire didn't realize, putting all those they oppressed, in one place... would eventually result in a rival government developing.

The Alien Quadrant, was modelled after the efficiency of the Doctor's Quadrant. With 42 Star Clusters, each containing 42 "Mega Systems".

Each of these "Mega Systems" was made up of 42 Solar Systems, orbiting around a colossal sized star.

Something so perfect would be shocking, if the entire galaxy hadn't been engineered.

News Broadcast: The Master Chief.

Today marks The 100th Anniversary of the Reaper's Defeat. That's 100 Galactic Standard Cycles, more then 360 years by the Terran Calendar.

Today we honor, above all others, the Master Chief.

John, Spartan tag 117, the same Spartan that many claim to be largely responsible for the victory over the Covenant, was found after 130 Cycles. Where many had hoped to find his body, the galaxy was amazed, as he was found still alive in stasis.

Many of the species, formerly enslaved by the religious cult's ideals, were seen celebrating in the streets at the return of the Master Chief. Unfortunately that celebration left a bitter taste in many mouths, as 9 months later John Spartan, our Master Chief, was declared dead after an attack on his ship by a then unknown vessel.

However his demon luck rang true, as he appeared back on the Citadel a mere 2 years later, ALIVE and reinstated into the Spectres.

There he teamed up with the Current human Spectres, Jane and John Shepard, no relation. They worked together to investigate the disappearance of Humanoid planets.

All solar systems, with lifeforms based on the humanoid animal Kingdom, or even the potential for humanoids to evolve, were inevitably brought to the primary Citadel, at the center of the Galaxy.

A Citadel so massive, that all other Citadels orbit it. Made from hundreds of uninhabited galaxies.

A new Galaxy was spliced together inside it's rings, by none other then the Collectors. The very aliens that destroyed the Master Chief's ship.

It took us just under an Earth Year, but due to the United armies of humanity's most powerful species uniting, We were able to beat them back.

Over the course of three years, humanity prepared for the Collectors' masters, and as expected they arrived to Harvest all space fairing civilizations. We called them 'Reapers' as they symbolized the end of everything.

The Galaxy united and lured the Reapers into a trap. The final battle around the Citadel. There the three human Spectres were able to defeat them. By uploading the Master Chief's Artificial Intelligence assistant, "Cortana", into the Citadel Mainframe. She was able to take direct control of all the Reapers, reprogramming them into a more passive state. While trapping them around the Citadel. All the Mass Relays were destroyed as a result of this.

This may have trapped the Reapers but it also trapped us. Humanity, along with the various armies of aliens that came to our aid. We are now permanently sealed off from the rest of the Galaxy. Just as each Galaxy is sealed off from each other.

• USS Enterprise, Starship Carrier:

Picard sat in the Lounge, along with those who had once been the finest Senior officers he ever served with.

While most of them were Commodores, a handful had been promoted to Admiral.

Even though it had been nearly 700 Earth Years, since Picard was Captain of the Enterprise-D, most of his crew was still around.

This was thanks to Wesley Crusher, who manage to reverse engineer the transporter accident... which had turned Picard into a "little rascal".

The device was perfected, in what became known as a "Rejuve Pod". By turning the individual into energy, specific genetic markers could be removed. This turned them back into a child. From there, they would be sent to a relative, close friend, or "Daycare" Planet, to be re-raised.

Depending on the individual's career, they were usually placed on Sabbatical. So they could enjoy another childhood, until they "grew up" again.

Picard had been through the procedure a total of 5 times... and each time, he despised it. However, it was better then dying.

At least he maintained his rank of "Admiral" after getting off sabbatical, at 25 years old. However... It had quickly become increasingly difficult, to get promoted to Admiral. As nowadays, you were expected to have multiple lifetimes under your belt.

Of course, after learning to extend life, potentially indefinitely... well it became a matter of course, that it get harder to be promoted... even with the nearly 15 year long sabbaticals. If anything there were too many Admirals in Starfleet.

Regardless, the big wigs had decided to reunite Picard with his famous Senior staff, and even many members of his crew, for the tricky task which lay ahead.

Picard had parked the newest ship, to bear the name "Enterprise", within the center of the Equuleus Star Cluster.

The plan was, once the ponies offer was formalized, many of the Equuleus guards would board Picard's vessel. From there, they would be assigned to one of the many Star Ships, that was docked in the Carrier. Then return to the Alien Quadrant, to assist in the development of those worlds.

Be it pirate hunting, to diplomatic missions.

Unfortunately, Exploration... was near out of the Question. Given a Starfleet ship couldn't enter humanoid space, without triggering a war.

That was the last thing anyone wanted. But they could help the developing alien worlds.

Picard felt sufficiently prepared for his meeting with the Equuleus military leaders, tomorrow afternoon. But there wasn't any harm in brushing up on this Civilization.

After all, they were of high priority.

If all went well, they would have yet another species joining their new "Alien Alliance". After the fall of the Federation, and the rise of the Terran Empire. Most ships of Starfleet joined forces, and are in the process of uniting the aliens.

Unfortunately, because of these creatures Humanoid transformation, they were also of interest to the Terran Empire. Yet it was the Alliance the Equuleus reached out to.

Picard smiled, if this exchange program went well, which had been the Equuleus's own suggestion, surely the next step would be physically joining the Alliance.

Right now, the Senior Staff of the Enterprise, were meeting with a representative of The Equuleus Quadrant's "Interplanetary" Fleet.

Which was mostly responsible for guarding against pirates, and escorting diplomats to other worlds.

She was "helping" the staff get acquainted with Equuleus culture, and etiquette. Picard got the vast majority of the files he'd been studying, from her...

Although Picard found her brash nature rather... offputting.

Her species had evolved from an Equine-like species. With Picard learning the hard way that comparing them to a "Horse" was considered extremely derogatory.

They considered it along the lines of calling a humanoid an "Ape" or "Monkey". However, the universal translator insisted on naming their species "Ponies". Which they strangely saw no issue with.

Well these quadrupeds were about head high to humans, so they certainly were small enough to be called "Ponies". Still it seemed a bit demeaning. Which wasn't helped by their chosen naming conventions.

For example, this pony was called "Rainbow Dash". She was a bright blue, with multi coloured hair... actually looking like a Rainbow. With her coat, and her mane, being in bright pastels... as were her wings.

"Celestia do you humans suck," Rainbow Dash spoke with her usual bluntness. "I mean, obviously not all of you are horses, but look at that!" She pointed at the screen near the bar. "They're actually patting themselves on the back, for forcing all non humans into the center of the Galaxy!!!"

Riker sighed, as Data tried to be diplomatic. "This 'Terran Empire' is indeed a lesser replacement to the Federation."

Rainbow Dash, high ranking Admiral in her military, scoffed. Holding herself with a lack of dignity, not fitting her station. "As if! I know you guys are always going on about the good old days, but I never met your 'Federation of Allied Planets'. It couldn't have been that different from the Terran Empire."

"It really was," Riker insisted. "Truthfully, it wasn't that different then the Alien Alliance. Species from all over our Galaxy, joined together in a utopian union. Not only respecting, but fully embracing our differences."

"And humans didn't screw that up?" Dash took a gulp of her Cider.

Riker explained, "Humanoids help found this union, and had strict laws about not interfering in other cultures."

Dash scoffed, "Sure."

Picard had had enough. "If you recall, Lady Dash, it was Humanoids from Terra Prime, which helped build The Alien Alliance.

"We did not agree with what the other Humanoids were doing, and came to help the other lifeforms. We negotiated for control of the 42 Star Clusters, that make up the Alien Alliance, and shared Federation Technologies. The current Starfleet model, is based off our own ideals."

Admiral Dash shrugged, "I said not all of you were horses." Then pointed at the Television, "But they are."

The Terrans sighed, not knowing how to refute that.

Riker spoke up, "You should have seen The Federation, our Federation, at it's height. We had a whole fleet of ships, as big as countries, and technologies that could compete with the most powerful Magic Users... Most of that has been lost."

"Why don't you lot build stuff like that anymore?" A blue Pegasus colt, looking much like a copy of Dash, suddenly appeared.

The little Pegasus only came up to Picard's Knees, and Riker had to resist the urge to reach out, and pet the child.

"Rainbow Blitz!!!" Rainbow Dash glared. "What have I told you about eavesdropping on these meetings." She wagged a disapproving wing, as if fingers.

The colt just looked at her, with the biggest, saddest eyes, Picard ever saw. And it seemed not even ponies had a defense against it.

Rainbow Dash sighed, before picking the colt up and setting him on the stool next to her. Then ordering him a juice box.

Picard seemed rather uncomfortable. Still not knowing how to act around children. If anything, after being regressed so many times, he had gotten even worse at relating to kids.

"I heard about how you guys had a whole fleet of these Starship Carriers." Rainbow Blitz stomped one of his front hooves on the counter. "Now there are only a handful left. How come?"

Data indifferently informed. "Most had their warp cores removed, and parked on planets. For our new allies to use as cities, as the planets were terraformed. Once they were finished, it was determined they should remain with the newly developed civilizations."

Picard sighed, "Technologies are always lost, as Empires fall. I've always enjoyed studying archaeology. Although it is more a hobby, in practice.

"The point is, I long since noticed that, older civilizations, would create technologies that were simply beyond us, but inevitably, they lost the resources to continue making them. Either through a change in government, war, plague, or some unknown element. For us, it was the reintroduction of an Economy."

"Eh?" Blitz blinked.

Riker elaborated, "Money. Without access to the majority of our Federation's 'alien' worlds. We lacked resources. Over the past 100 Cylces, we have been forced to focus more on Trade, with both the Humanoids and the Aliens.

"But we found that bartering wasn't enough. You all wanted actual currency. So we were forced to adopt it. Then it began to get used more commonly, even between ourselves... until we no longer had the funds to maintain our lifestyle.

"Within 40 Cycles, we lost most of our greatest achievements. Due to them not being 'Cost Effective' to run.

"10 Cycles later, and the Federation abandoned all it's principles. As they joined the Terran Empire. Which caused starfleet to officially break ties, and begin forming the Alliance. Which was later dubbed the 'Alien Alliance' by the developing council. As they wished to reclaim that word.

"Only a few technologies were prioritized. Replicators, Rejuve Pods, AIs for starships. Transporters were one of the things that got abandoned. There was simply no way to make that cost effective." Riker got his lecturing voice. Similar to what he used whenever Picard became his ward again... Riker had always been good with children.

He continued, while Blitz listened intently. "But the technologies we did manage to preserve came with more drawbacks then they used to have.

"Replicators got the biggest shaft, as people realized what money making machines they were. Different models were designed. Each capable of turning raw matter into something else.

"Like the Military Grade Replicator, to build weapons and ammunition. It's illegal for those to be anywhere but on a Military Base or Starship.

"Then the Industrial Replicator, to create construction materials. Those things are as big as a house, and can cost billions. We only got three of them on this whole ship. And we're the largest vessel in the fleet."

"Then engineers had to cut out some features of the standard model. In order to make it cost effective. They needed tanks of raw matter, to be turned into other items. And... unfortunately, they could no longer be used to make food. As the material that came out was always toxic when ingested.

"Thankfully, the 'Children of the Doctor' chose to share their farms with the rest of the Galaxy. With their plants growing not only produce, but various kinds of meat. Which require shipping freighters, and made way for new jobs."

"Regardless, with all of those Replicator models being far too expensive to be common household appliances. Especially with the power needed to use them. A single Business Level Replicator needs a Grandmaster Dilithium Crystal, just to run the thing for a month."

"However, it was more cost effective for stores to use Replicators. As opposed to factories. Companies would sell licenses, to be uploaded into a business' Replicator. Then the store would sell the items to the customers...

"This made it harder to start a small business. As the cost of the licenses, the raw matter, and the Grandmaster Lyrium Crystals, not to mention the Replicator itself and it's maintenance... well all that can add up.

"So mom and pop shops became less common... especially after the factories went out of business. So no help there. They couldn't even buy products to sell, without a Replicator."

"Rejuve Pods were probably the only thing that got upgraded. As it was considered a high priority, to make the key to immortality, cost effective. One of the last Benevolent acts, of the Federation, was to make the pods available to all space fairing civilizations, regardless of species, on the condition they made it a free medical procedure.

"Better safeties were installed, and memory blocks were set up. Oh the kids, remember the gist of their lives. All the key moments are preserved. We even insure their personality remains intact. But kids aren't meant to deal with adult traumas, so we tweek those into a more vague Awareness."

"Like when Wisp reincarnate themselves?" Blitz blinked.

"Sorta," Riker thought on it. "Only ours is artificially blocked. With a side effect being most of our lives... also become pretty vague. Including our education. We'll remember everything, eventually, but the memory block lifts slowly, as we age. So we don't get overwhelmed.

"Picard was quite traumatized, the first time he rejuved. That had been a result of a Transporter Accident. So we were still learning the best way to raise Rejuved children."

Rainbow Blitz frowned, looking as if in deep thought.

Beverly Crusher, who had been sitting quietly until now, added, "A lot of medical technologies were preserved, and even improved on. But besides medicine, we don't have a lot of stuff we used to.

Data, hoping to impart something on the youth, explained. "There were restrictions placed on the manufacturing of artificial lifeforms. Though I actually agree with that.

"Now, only Synthetics can build synthetics. Along with labor laws, and equal rights. A gift, for our efforts against the Reapers. Although we were mostly given, our own Quadrant, to contain us.

"We were given an assortment of gas giants, and used nanobots, to convert the raw matter into our own Dyson Spheres. Much like the Spheres the I'Borg inhabit, in their own nearby quadrant. The Cooperative is actually responsible, for building us these artificial worlds.

Geordi decided to speak up, "The humanoids might have a united Empire, but it has a 'humanoids first' mindset. The other races, trapped in this Sector of space with us, are typically neglected, and at worst oppressed. Those Countless alien ships, sealed into this Galaxy, were all military vessels. So it was fairly easy for them to get organized."

Riker added, "We Terrans managed to talk the rest of the humanoids into giving the Aliens most of their Black Rocks. Those are hostile worlds that can, supposedly, never support life.

"Some of the more advanced species, moved those worlds out of their solar systems, and brought them closer to this center of the Galaxy...

"That was at the Humanoids insistence. As they didn't want aliens living near them. In fact, the only reason they agreed, was because 'aliens' started colonizing worlds outside of what was being Terraformed for them.

"Treaties were written up, so they can't do that, but let them keep the worlds they settled... provided they were moved with the Black Rocks.

"The other humanoids only allowed this, as a means of containing the aliens into this Sector of space. That way, when your populations grow, you wouldn't be forced to expand out of your territory. The founders of this new Empire, had been bigots from the start, and that shaped the culture."

Picard added, "While this was what we wanted, the motivations behind it resulted in Starfleet splitting off from the Federation. Which was all in favor of bending to the bigotry of the other humanoids.

"50 Cycles Ago, Starfleet decided to organize the 'aliens' into our own alliance... and here we are. Trying to get all the groups to join us.

"We realize you 'Children of the Doctor'." As they were apparently united by religious beliefs. Stating they were either created, saved, or descended from a diety. Who ruled over time as it's "Lord". "Well... we realize you already have your own united government, but we are hoping to merge forces."

The Reapers, through trying to contain the Doctor, had captured entire Star Clusters, made up of nothing but Mega Systems. Much like the Alien Quadrant, nearby. Which had been modelled after the Doctor's own.

Regardless, The Doctor had used these original Star Clusters (made of Mega Systems) as Refugee Worlds, and kept a close eye on them. These were intended for the survivors, of the Last Great Time War, to rebuild. A gift from the Doctor, for those that lost their worlds in that horrible conflict.

Species that's very planets were wiped from existence, yet a handful of survivors remained, despite having no planet of origin.

After the Doctor brought the Refugees to these worlds, the Fates had worked overtime to re-establish their history. While the Doctor popped in and out, protecting the planets. Although he refused to interfere with their development... or at least... he tried.

The Reapers had taken the various Mega Systems hostage. Bringing them into the Humanoid Galaxy, and placing them at the very center, for better defence. They threatened to destroy the worlds, should the Doctor interfere... unaware the Doctor already made plans for this.

"The Children of the Doctor" or rather, the descendants of his granddaughter, Susan, had made a bit of a Splash throughout history. The Doctor ended up having to give them guidelines, to stop them from accidentally destroying the universe.

Not through any malicious intent... but they wanted to be Heroes, like the Doctor... and could wind up doing more harm then good.

They made their own TARDISes. Which stood for "Teleportation and Relative Dimension Interior Space". Based on the Doctor's own Time Machine... although far more limited.

They couldn't travel through time... well not to any true extent. More like send who ever activated the Machine, back in time, to their previous body, by a few hours. Mostly the ships were just used to teleport around the Galaxy.

Even the internal dimension, the shrine was bound to, wasn't nearly as big as the Doctor's TARDIS... although still much bigger on the inside, then it's simple shrine like exterior.

Regardless, Picard informed. "Black rocks are normally only good for mining. But thanks to you ponies, and your 'magic', you were able to terraform every world, with whatever that race needed..."

Dash explained, incorrectly, to her son, "Our abilities are largely why they want us to join."

Picard immediately corrected, "Not your abilities, lady Dash. We have encountered beings far more impressive. We wish to gain you as allies, because of the benevolent manner you choose to wield them. You didn't have to help the aliens, but you did, without even requesting compensation. You helped because it was the right thing to do... that, is why we want you in the Alliance."

"Where the Terran Empire has their developing 'Space Forces', the Alliance will have the full support of Starfleet."

CODEXes: Equuleus.

5 Billion Years after Twilight ascended into an Alicorn:

Sub-ponies, were common in today's society.

The result of magical mutations, occurring in one of the 3 pony tribes. These mutations were more rare, in the Time of the Two Sisters. However, they did happen.

Species such as the Changelings, Hippogriffs, Sea-ponies, Crystal ponies, and many other pony based races. They were all races that manifested a third Chromosome chain. Containing vast magical mutations, that occured all at once, in a single child. Which was passed down to their offspring.

Where as Hybrids, of two pony subspecies, were often born as regular ponies. With their third chromosome chain being dormant, until a magical surge awoke one of the chains. Or, the pony gets their cutie mark. Which destroys all traces of a dormant third chain.

Dormant third Chromosome chains, require very specific circumstances, to awaken their genes. Which could trigger a magical surge, similar to cutie mark magic.

Which is why actually getting a cutie mark can overwhelm the magic. And why most subponies either don't have cutie marks, or all have similar cutie marks. Such as Zebra, and Time Ponies.

However, the trigger is different per Subpony species. And may never happen at all... so many Subponies will force the transformation.

Equuleus are what ponies evolved into, due to the destruction of the tree of Harmony.

However, this only occurred within the Equuleus star cluster. The races that settled outside of said cluster (Such as Sunny Starscout's ancestors) didn't mutate into Equuleus. Due to the disturbance of Harmony magic, being too far away to effect them.

The Equuleus are a truly unique Animal Kingdom. Coming in a variety of Equine-like races.

The majority of which were limited shapeshifters. Generally having three consistent forms. Which they could switch between at will, near instantaneously.

● Forms:

All inhabitants, of the Equuleus Star Cluster, have 3 basic forms.

Pony Form:

Humanoid Form:

Anthro Form:

● Chaos Control:

Equuleus are manifestations of both Chaos and Harmony. Well their primary three main transformations come from their Harmony magic. Their chaos magic allows them to add temporary boost to their power level. However, learning to tap into this can be painful, and even life threatening.

Transformation:

Levels:

Permanent Chaos Control:

● Biology:

Height:

Innocent:

Longevity:

Digestive System:

Any chemicals not needed by the body, or any excess fats, are atomized instead of being stored or excreted. They are channelled into an organ near the stomach, where nuclear fission occurs, and is then converted into clean chakra. Which is channelled through the body, to be used as excess energy, and can even be used to fuel their powers and magic.

Weaknesses:

All Equuleus have their own strengths and weaknesses, but there are some universal weaknesses across this animal Kingdom.

High Metabolism:
They require a large intake of food, in order to fuel their vast dependency on Chakra. As such, they are in constant danger of starving to death. They eat 7 times a day, of extremely large portions.

If they miss one meal, they become fatigued. If they go a whole week, it's likely they would have starved to death, long before the week ended.

This higher metabolism also makes it so they burn through potions quicker. Making them less effective.

It also means They can't get drunk, although being buzzed is possible if they drink enough.

● Reproduction:

4 Sexes:

Reproductive Cycle:

Males:

● Life Cycle:

● Female Dominant Society:

Females:

Males:

Intersex:

Alpha Males:

● Government:

All Equuleus are represented on a Senate, with a seat for every planetary governments. With Celestia and Luna acting as Chair-mares.

While the planets were largely independent, the Senate controlled their military, and provide funding to protect all the planets.

They have a military union, which set the budgets and passed the laws for their civilization.

● Legal Privileges:

However, Males don't gain nearly as many Privileges as the other three sexes.

● Equuleus Spell Casting:
In humanoid and Anthro Form.

• Elemental Bending:

Most Equuleus can harness their magic, to allow them to control naturally occurring elements. However, most can't create that element. Not unless they have an affinity for it, with only 2 affinities. Some species of Equuleus, such as Unicorns and Equuleus, can create elements, but can't control those naturally occurring in nature.

Different elements result in a different manifestation of powers. With those powers being similar to the children's shows "Avatar the Last Airbender" and "Naruto". These Elements Include: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Ether, Light, and Darkness. And largely work like the "Jutsus" or "bending" they are based on.

Equuleus can learn Jutsus / Spells from most of these fields of magic.

Those who can convert their Magic into Electricity, can send out shocks or lightning.

This allows them to directly tap into the most raw form of Magic (which is literally everywhere). Not the most elegant, but definitely the most destructive. It could be used to duplicate attacks from "Dragon Ball Z" and "Yu Yu Hakusho".

Can move objects, within 5 feet of themselves, with their mind. Masters of this power can levitate hundreds of items at once, and hundreds of tons. Those that specialized in this can learn to levitate things within 120 feet of themselves, but that takes a lot of Magic.

However, a few legendary Equuleus can levitate anything within their natural level of sight, no matter how far away. These Equuleus can pull star ships out of the air, from their place on the ground. Even crush them.

Can create a shield of pure telekinetic energy. From around their bodies, to small walls.

Commanding darkness, and Similar to the shadows themselves. Like the Jutsus of the Nara clan (from Naruto) or Shadow Dancers from "Dungeons and Dragons".

Which allows trained Equuleus to travel through shadows. To sink into them, into the realm of shadows, and move great distances. Spying on the real world from inside a shadow, and even able to move between them. Shadows work much like Portals to them.

The better trained in this power can sink into the floor, entering the shadow realm without need of direct access to a shadow, and can move apart from them. Moving across surfaces as a shadow, with nothing casting it.

Others can turn into a fog, made of shadows. Which can be used to make them temporarily invulnerable to anything but light and fire.

Some can train their shadow to move as if a separate limb. One they can stretch out to great distances. Although the shadows they manipulate, must be connected to their own shadow, in some way. A great weakness with this, is they can feel others touching their shadow. So it can be used to injure them.

Masters of this power, and only masters, can even control their own shadow if they aren't touching it. Say, if they are at a great height, and their shadow is being cast at the ground below.

Bending light let's them create complicated illusions. Similar to the Illusion spells from Elder Scrolls. They can be used to create light, turning invisible, or just blending into their surroundings.

• Combining Elements:

This allows for more complicated spell casting. And can even create the combined elements they share an affinity with.

grants additional ice powers. Even traveling through Ice, as well Ice mirrors (like Haku from "Naruto")

Allows for plant manipulation. Able to grow plants instantly, from a mere seed, and control their movements.

Can create or control lava based Jutsus.

Allows for something similar to "blood magic". They are able to control the bodies, and even the minds, of any creature with blood.

Allows for individuals to have Magneto, from "X-Men", level magnetism powers. As well as Toph's "Metal bending" from "Avatar the last Airbender". And even the ability to forge metals together in seconds.

This allows for minor Technomancy, the control of electronics. Although doing so requires greater focus, then a natural born Technomancer.

This also allows for momentary burst of super speed, mostly for charging forward.

This combination allows for two major abilities.

A "Henge" works very similarly to a transformation Jutsu, from Naruto. As they don't gain the abilities of the creatures, or objects, they turn into.

They can't alter their density, despite altering their weight and size. So they don't become stronger, weaker, or any more or less durable. They also maintain their level of Perception, even when in the form of something with no eyes or ears. They can also use these henges on others. Although they must initially touch what they change, their is no limit in how far away it can get.

These act near independently, although in truth they are controlled by the user's own subconscious. Through that link, the clones transfer all information they gather, back to the original. Though only upon being dispelled, or destroyed.

These constructs have no range limit, of how far they can venture from the original. This is largely based off the Naruto "Shadow Clone Jutsu".

● Wands:

Equuleus can learn wand based spells, like Harry Potter and other magics, however the style does not come naturally to them. So is far more difficult.

● Fun Facts:

What might be interesting to know, is Equuleus were not the only Sapient Lifeforms to evolve on Equus.

Dragons, for instance, were already classified as "Entities", and so were less affected by the chaos magic. Although they have evolved in a more unique way, on this planet, then on other worlds.

CODEX: Galactic Standard Calendar.

1 Cycle = 3.6 Earth Years = 1090 Days = 12 Seasons.

1 Season = 8 or 9 Weeks.

1 Week = 10 Days.

1 Day = 33 Hours.

1 Hour = 100 Minutes.

CODEX: Dragons.

Dragons... weren't technically "Sapient" lifeforms. They were actually above that, better then that. Dragons were categorized as "Entities", one step below Celestials.

Entities were so extremely long lived, they might as well be immortal. With most species capable of destroying planets, at the very least.

However, What truly marked Entities, had nothing to do with their power level. Some Entities couldn't even glass a city.

Where some beings, who could live for tens of thousands of years, and destroy galaxies with a thought, weren't true entities.

No, what marked an entity was their ability to survive after death. Well they could all be killed, permanently, they were a lot harder to keep dead.

Living planets were Entities, given they could just rebuild their puppet Avatars. Many breeds of Monster were Entities, given they just woke up in the underworld, when killed. Time Lords were entities, given they regenerate, as Phoenixes did.

However, another mark of an entity, was how difficult it was for them to have children... Harmony's way of not overflowing the planets they lived on.

Although "Dragons" was more a broad term, for a specific Animal-like Kingdom.

They are the living manifestation of magic itself. As a result, they prefer to settle on magically heavy worlds, and typically have an aversion to technologies.

Despite being one of the most intelligent, and magically powerful races, they are viewed by most as Monsters. Due to their large / frightening appearance, and primitive culture.

Dragons also require a great deal of food to survive, which often results in them eating "merely sapient" lifeforms. As they view them as lesser then themselves. Obviously that doesn't help other races opinion that they are "Monsters".

However, Dragons of the Equuleus Star Cluster, needn't lower themselves to eating intelligent lifeforms... or anything that was ever truly alive.

As Thousands of years, before even the Two Sisters ruled over the ponies of Equestria, the dragons discovered what would become their home.

A land of fire and brimstone, but most importantly, of sucker-like-fish. These fish spawned as Quickly as krill, but in even greater numbers, and could grow to be larger then blue whale.

These fish lived inside the lava, eating it and breeding in it.

These fish were, in reality, an evasive species. Brought to the planet Equus... for the strick purpose of feeding the dragons.

The Dragon's credited their god "Bahamut"... who was, in reality, one of the Doctor's past regenerations.

This new abundance of food, resulted in dragons having to rethink their entire culture... although dragons were stubborn things, and not quick to adapt. So far too many stuck to the old ways.

As beings of pure magic, they rarely needed to change. As their magicks made it so they could live very comfortably.

It used to be, due to limited food, dragons had to live in isolated areas. With few even choosing to raise their own children.

Most dragons chose, instead, to pull their resources.

Each species of Dragon, would lay their eggs in their own communal nest. Which was, in turn, looked after by a specific dragon, of that species. Often called a "Dragon Lord". Who acts as both Nanny, Teacher, and Ruler, to all the young dragons. Usually having an army of Kobolds, to help with this.

Adult dragons would frequently send magical gems, and other foods, to the young ones. Generally, this was unnecessary, as the nests were settled in territories with an abundance of food. However, it was the Dragons way of showing they were thinking of their children.

When dragons reach adulthood, they were expected to leave the nest, and find their own isolated patch of land to hunt in. This way they don't have to fight for resources.

Although, thanks to the abundance of food, now in each Dragon Lords' territory, more adult dragons were permanently moving into those boarders.

The ponies helped the Dragons set up a new system, for them to better adapt into their developing cities.

Each dragon clan would "elect" their own leader. Which dragons decided to do, by having a series of challenges, to weed out those not strong, or smart, enough. Then have a fighting tournament, to decide who amongst the most qualified was truly the best.

From there, these champions would not only rule over their clan, but sit on a Senate, which their Dragon Lord had to listen to. They could even veto the Lord's decisions, and were more involved in how the children were raised.

Most Dragons were even adopting the practice of raising their own children. Which they found strangely rewarding, as any Dragon Lord can attest to.

The adult dragons might have been largely isolated from each other, but even in the olden days, they still had a set of social norms, if not a few direct rules, taught to them by their Dragon Lord. Dragons even have an instinctive "hierarchy", they all subconsciously bow to.
