Author's Note

This is my first time making a story. I'm not particularly good at personality identification so I hope you'll forgive me if I get a characters personality wrong. Lemme know what you think. If its at all confusing, let me know in the comments what it is. Also. the timeline might be all over the place.
Edit: The "---" lines indicate pov changes and I chaged a few things. Let me know if its better or worse.

The Assault

"ha...ha...ha..." I'm outa breath...what the hell. Are they even hum- I barely have time to finish that thought when I'm rushed by another Chara. I barely dodge and use my scythe to take their head. This normally wouldn't be a problem if they reloaded right. But they aren't. Instead of the standard time rewind, they just appear and my stamina doesn't have a chance to recover. One wouldn't be a problem normally but... I Look back up at the sea of red eyes and smiles staring me down. Even with though I can move faster than light, they can somehow keep up with me.

"You can't run from us." They all say in Unison.

It sends a chill down my spine. "Welp. Better alive than dead." I snap my fingers and summon a shit ton of Gaster blasters. All the color drained from my fur. Before the Chara's had time to react, I fired. The ground in front of me turned to a giant crater. I fell down onto my knees drained. My heart stopped as I saw a figure out the corner of my eye. I covered my side with all my tails barely able to block the attack. "W-wai-" As I turned around, the last Chara hit me with a devastating slash. To be frank, I don't even know why I tried to ask them to wait. I forced them back with my telekinesis as much as possible. I was barely able to open a portal and fell inside, the portal closing behind me. I tried to make a destination, but I didn't have the strength to as I was blacking out and just chose something random

"Good Morning Mr. Bird. Today seems li-" The yellow mare suddenly notices a bright beam of light jetting out in the everfree forest. Her ears fold as a high pitched ring makes its way throughout the land as it widens. The ringing suddenly stops. When she looks in the direction, the widen beam narrows quickly and once it fades, a large explosion occurs in what she assumes is where the light was touching down. She has a nagging feeling like somepony needs help there. She flies off towards the explosion.

I wake up in the center of a crater. It HURTS. "FUCKING DAMMIT!!" I yell in agony as my entire body yells at me with pain signals. I claw at the dirt with my paw...PAWS?! Suddenly jolted by this new form, I manage to get up for a few seconds before utterly collapsing back into the dirt. I grit my teeth. Fuck...I think I opened the wound...dammit...I'm gonna bleed out... I manage to crawl towards what I believe to be the exit of the forest leaving a rather long trail of blood. After a few minutes I lose my energy. I twist my tails to look like one and move it under my chin as a pillow. At least I'll be comfortable... I lose consciousness.

"Oh dear!" The mare exclaims as she sees the large creature laying in a pool of its own blood. She flies over to check on them. When she gets close, she examines it. "Thank goodness, They're still breathing..." She's surprised that the creature managed to drag itself so far. She was able to move it into a clearing and began doing what she can to help them. She struggled to turn the thing onto its side to get a better look but when she did, she gasped at the large gash that went from its upper shoulder to its belly. After a few hours she managed to clean and patch them up for the most part. The creatures fur was mostly snow white with fiery red markings on its body and it was absolutely huge.

"Fluttershy?" the mare turns to see her friends coming towards her. "We heard a large explosion and we came...to see..." Their speech slowing as the saw the massive mass of fur "What in the name of Celestia is that!?" they asked frightened but concerned.

"I would think it's a rare kind of wolf except for the fact that it's head is triangular with a fox like tail. It was seriously injured when I found it." Fluttershy says.

I managed to regain consciousness when I heard the sound of talking. I noticed that I had some bandages on me. It was most likely the ones that are here that patched me up. I managed to sit up and turn to thank my rescuers when I noticed they were ponies. Oh, they were also scared as hell. Except for the yellow one with wings. So a Unicorn, regular horse, and a Pegasus? Where the hell am I?

"Um, hello. What are you?" Fluttershy asks.

I can understand them which is interesting since I've never been to this timeline and universe before. They seem to be the shy type but are showing some courage. They have a calm and low voice which is comforting. I feel like I can somewhat trust them. I try to speak but an immense pain occurs and nothing comes out except for coughs. I also end up coughing up some blood but swallow it. The yellow mare seems concerned with my coughing fit. Seems I'm going to be mute till I can heal. I got no idea why I'm in this form but it's none of my current concern.

The creature holds out it's paw and the others recoil slightly. Flutteryshy stays put.

"Fluttershy, get back!"

"No, It might be trying to tell us something." She moves closer to them and he watches her warily. An upside down heart forms above his paw. Its mostly pink with some red in the center. It's really cracked... Suddenly the pink takes up half and the red spreads to the other half.

Dammit... It's barely holding together. My Determination was saved by my Fear trait. Thankfully Hate hasn't formed. It wouldn't do anything to me but it isn't a good feeling, not to mention dangerous to those around me. I stand up swiftly and manage to stay up. I seem to dwarf the mares in size. I'm surprised that I can keep myself up. I feel something poke the side of my neck.

The yellow mare is shocked by the fact that Rarity and Twilight shot at them. But they're even more shocked at how he looks at us as if a parasprite ran into them. Fluttershy turns to scold them when the creature begins to shake and then collapse. She runs over to get a look and they're gritting their teeth like they're in serious pain. They squint as the upside-down heart reappears but... It's violently shaking and seems to be breaking apart. She doesn't know what to do. They're scratching the ground desperately and panting hard as the heart slowly breaks apart.

Fucking hell...It hurts... My soul slowly starts to separate. It fucking hurts like hell and takes all of my energy to keep it from shattering. A piece breaks off and a cough jets out some blood and paints some grass in front of me crimson red. Thankfully the Fear trait stretches into pink goo to help keep it together. Thankfully the pain stops and my soul is pulled back together. The yellow mare who they call 'Fluttershy' seems genuinely worried about me. The others don't. I'm going to stay neutral to them. The risk isn't worth it, not to mention I definitely won't survive another attack like that.

"What magic did you use on him?" Fluttershy ask as she goes to rub her hoof over his head. He recoils slightly when her hoof touches him but relaxes and allows Fluttershy to pet him. she lowers herself to match his eye level and realized that the entire time he's been here, his eyes were never open.

"I don't know. I rushed a random spell because it looked like he was going to hurt you Flutteryshy." The purple mare trailed off as she realized she was a bit rash in her judgment and nearly killed somepony.

"I would scold you but I need to care for them." She say as she goes to gather food and water for the creature.

"Can we help ya Flutteryshy?" Applejack asks.
"yes. I'm going to need the help. Please change their bandages while I get some food and water for them." She leaves and return after a short while to see them standing at a distance. Theres also a large crater near the animal next to their paw. "What happened here?" She ask as she look around.

"We dunno. We tried to get close to him but every time he would slam his tail on the ground. When we started ignoring those and got really close, he hit the ground with his paw and we thought it was best to back off." Twilight responds.

That was too big of a risk but thankfully they backed off. Definitely rash on my part but I'd rather not risk an accidental death during a bandage change. Fluttershy holds out some berries in front of me. I open my mouth and she seems frightened at first but realizes I'm asking for her to toss em in, so she does so. I chew on them and swallow, glad that got a little something to eat. She helps me drink the water by holding the glass for me. I gently rub her neck with my nose to thank her which elicits a laugh from her.

"Well, it seems to have some sapient intelligence." The purple unicorn says.

Normally I'd voice my displeasure at being called It but I can't speak so I just shot her a look. She seems to get it. After they help with the bandage change, they help Fluttershy get me onto my... paws and get me to her home. I barely fit through her door, but they manage to squeeze me inside after a few minutes of pushing. I do not wish to stand anymore because it's putting a rather large amount of strain on my body so the second I see her couch, I flop onto it which causes it to do the normal couch squeaks. Fluttershy comes over and touches my ears. After her friends say goodbye, she goes to bed. Its been a long day.
