A new day (Completed)

As twilight makes her way back home, she ponders how she is to tell the princess about the mysterious kitsune that has appeared. She walks in expecting spike to ask her what she did today, but to her surprise, he's asleep early. With no distractions, she decides to send a message to the princess immediately.

Dear Princess Celestia,
Today my friends and I went to Fluttershy's. Upon arriving, we found a mysterious creature that was seriously wounded and couldn't speak. When the being stood, they were huge, and I feared the worst for Fluttershy who was closest to the being. In a panicked state, I fired a random spell that seemed to nearly kill them. They survived and became cautious of everypony except Fluttershy. What should we do?
Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.
She sent the letter and said "Now all I do now is wa-" A letter appeared and it read.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
Don't worry about this. The royal guard and I shall look into this creature and confirm their intentions.

Sincerely Princess Celestia.

First thing I notice is that I'm back in my normal form. Though my tails are still curled. The hell is this place? I think to myself as I look at the environment. It takes me a few seconds to realize that this is a dream world. I check my body and the wound is still there but it doesn't seem to affect my abilities here. I summon a small bone and toss it around when I see the outline of a alicorn behind me. I don't really need to use my eyes because of a unique ability I have that outlines the surrounding environment as well as objects and the way it looks. "Heya. So what brings you to my dreams?" I ask. The dark mare takes notice of my singular tail and body shape.

"I visit everypony when I can. You are new though so I came to see you first to confirm your intentions. So first off, what's your name?" She asks.

"What's with the distance? No need to be that far. Also, names Kuro."

"I keep this distance for caution. No need to be concerned. So, why don't you tell me about yourself?"

"Why? Not planning to go on a date are we?" The mare seems slightly flustered. "Well why don't I just show you?" I make a screen appear behind me and turn to it and sit down. The mare moves slightly closer to watch the mysterious object. The screen begins playing my happy memories of the great time I had with friends and family, laughing, playing, and sparring. We watch for what seems like hours before the screen stops playing. "There ya go. Those are my memories."

"You seem like a nice pony but what about your other memories?" My facial expression darkens and she seems bothered by it. I sigh and relax.

"I'm not ready to share those. I'll tell you when I'm ready. Oh by the way, I never caught your name."

"I'm Princess Luna."

"A princess huh? Pretty cool."

The guards already have their weapons out and pointed at the being, shivering in fear at his massive size. "Rise and come closer." The being stands up and moves closer to Celestia and she sees that he is a bit bigger than her. Celestia watches with a shocked expression as a guard drives a spear into the beings chest. A upside down heart appears for a brief moment before violently shaking and shattering. The being soon falls limp onto the floor, lifeless. The Princess wakes up in her bed. "A premonition? Not good. I must prevent this from happening." When she arrives at the throne room, the creature is already awake and seems worried. He stands up and the event repeats itself. The Princess wakes up in her bed. "W-what is this? A double premonition? This must be serious." The princess thinks to herself. As dawn approaches, Celestia raises the sun as usual and heads to the throne room to make sure that everything is going alright. When she arrives, the large creature seems to be upset about something even though the guards are staying at a distance. Might be because he was transported without warning and doesn't like his new environment. "What's happened?"

"Nothing yet princess. He's stayed in that one spot and hasn't moved since he woke up." One of the guards respond.

"How odd." This is a bit different than her premonitions. Perhaps the premonitions were wrong. She sits in her throne and says, "Stand and tell me your name.". Celestia waits for a minute, but he doesn't move or speak. He then raises his head and upper body a bit and the bandages unravel a bit, revealing what seems to be a rather fresh and giant wound and the bandage tighten back. A horrifying realization comes to all the ponies. The bandages that go from his shoulders to his thighs are covering a very large wound. It takes the Princess some time, but she comes to the conclusion that the damage is so extensive that it's damaged his vocal cords.

Hopefully they will leave me alone after this. I can't defend myself in my condition.

"Do you have another form of communications by any chance?"

I nod and use some magic to create words that say 'hi'.

"So, what is your name and what are your intentions?"

I create words that say, "My name is Kuro. As for why I'm here, I have no idea." Thankfully I managed to learn how to write equestrian real fast. But my message seems to have surprised them.

"Explain please."

"I didn't come here on purpose. I was trying to escape an attacker and just happened to end up here."

"What gave you that wound?"

"It's best that you don't know. But if you're worried about them coming here, don't. They are from another world like me."

"You come from another world?"

"Yes and I don't plan to explain."

"You will answer her questions!" A random guard says to me.

"It's fine, Stand down.

The guard relaxes.

"Now then, is there a particular reason why you don't want to explain?"

"Yes. Everyone there is dead and since this just recently happened, I'd prefer not to talk about it just yet."

"I see. Well ho-"

My stomach growled. I'd laugh if it didn't hurt. The guards seem uncomfortable, but other than that, they seemed pretty composed.

"Would you like to eat?" Celestia asked.

"But princess he -"

"Quiet please. I see no hostile intent in him so we shall treat him as a guest."

I manage to sit up which puts the guards on alert. "No need. But you and Princess Luna should come and see me in the dream world if possible. Oh, and try to bring Fluttershy and her friends. I'd love to know them better."

A blue light envelopes Kuro and he disappears. "Teleportation that doesn't leave a magical signature? Very interesting." The princess said to herself.

"Would you like us to do anything your highness?"

"No, leave him be. I'm sure he'll be fine. Now, I'm going to visit princess Luna. You are dismissed."

10 Minutes Later
I do what I can to knock on the door to this wooden tree's door. The door opens and a small dragon is there to greet me. "Hello. Is Twilight in?"

"Um. Yeah but, what do you want with her and how did you find out she lived here? Also, what's with the magical writing?"

"I can't speak and I asked Fluttershy. She told me Twilight lives here."

"Neat. Come inside while I go get her."

Upon entering the tree, my nose is hit with the smell of book pages and ink. Most likely Twilight's books; Spike doesn't seem to be the studious type. Fluttershy wasn't kidding about him being small for a dragon. I must of been spacing out because I only notice Twilight after she shakes me. "Hm? Oh, heya Twilight."

"Um, hi. Are you feeling okay? I'm really sorry about yesterday, and why are you using magic to write?"

"Well I'd say it wasn't that bad, but that's an obvious lie. Either way, that's in the past, and I'm doing this because I can't speak."

The mares ears lower a bit, "Did I..."

"No. It's because of my current injury, so don't worry about it. Well, to the point. I'd like to know more about this world. I've never seen this one before."

""Seen this one"? There are more than world with life like this?" She asks excitedly.

"Yeah. I keep an eye on as many as possible. Thought I'd seen them all."

"We're on Equestria, in ponyville. Here, many ponies, pegasus, and unicorns live in harmony. Princess Celestia raises the sun, and Princess Luna raises the moon. Also, how can you walk without bumping into anything, and how do you know my name?"

"I sense my surroundings with a power I have. Pretty much outlines everything and I heard from Fluttershy. My name's Kuro by the way."

"Can I see your eyes?"

"You wanna see my eyes kid? Alright."

Twilight watches as Kuro opened his eyes. His eyes are beautiful. The top half of his eyes are a glimmering emerald green while the lower half are a rippling rose pink. They seem to constantly shift place. "W...Wow... Rarity would flip out..." He closes his eyes and it takes some time for the mare to regain her composure. "Um. So I have another question. Wh-"

"Hey Twilight! PinkiePie is doing her thing! Flutteryshy's the last one."

"Oh. Okay Rainbowdash, I'll be there. Uh, kuro can you get Fluttershy and bring her to sugar cube corner? Just tell Fluttershy the name."

"Sure. See ya there." Kuro is enveloped in a blue light and disappears.

Twilight seemed nervous about something. Wonder what. I teleport inside Fluttershy's house and say, "Yo, anyon- pony here?"

"Eep!"

I felt a little bad as I watched the mare jump out of fright. "Sorry about that. Twilight wants us at sugar cube corner for pinkies...plans. didn't say what they were though." She's also nervous now, a little more than Twilight was. "Something wrong?"

"Oh, not at all. Are you feeling better by any chance Kuro?"

"Yeah. I've gained a bit more of my magic." I tell her while we walk.

"May I see it?"

"Sorry, but my magic isn't really suited for...safety."

"Oh, ok..."

"Sorry."

"It's okay. I understand."

I kinda feel bad now. But as we get to the town, it's...empty. The atmosphere feels tense and the air stale. Something is wrong...but, what?

"Are you okay Kuro?"

"Huh? Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just...spaced out a little." I do what I can to get closer to Fluttershy without being obvious. I won't let something bad happen ever again. I'll defend her with everything I can use.

"Ok, this is it."

Smells and looks like a gingerbread house. She opens the door.

--Fluttershys prospective---

She watches with a bit of guilt as she watches him jump with a loud yelp as pinkiepie's confetti Cannon fires. Kuro's eyes jet open during the event. Everypony seems to become mesmerized by his eyes. He closes his eyes as he calms down.

"Hehehe! Were you surprised? Were ya, were ya!?" Pinkie asks jumping up and down.

It takes awhile for my heart to calm down. "Hehe. Definitely surprised. Got me good."

Pinkie laughs and basically teleports to the center of the room revealing a cake, practically pulling it out of thin air. "Welcome to the welcoming party!!"

This is really nice. Been awhile since I had cake. Might as well enjoy. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's party!".
