Equestria: the lost age.
Prologue
"Look at all this stuff that aunt Lauren left me." Achenar said looking through the boxes his aunts lawyer had given him earlier that day.
Her will had stated that every thing in the attic of her mansion were to be given to her nephew Achenar. In side the boxes were an assortment of things raging from books, to story ideas for cartoons. One of them had some strange drawings of an island with the word Myst on them as well as an old journal that he guessed must have been his aunts. As he opened the last box a peace of paper fell out.
"Hmmm, what's this." He said picking it up and looking it over. "OH MY GOD! MOM, DAD GET IN HERE! YOUR NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT AUNT LAUREN LEFT ME!" Upon farther inspection the peace of paper turned out to be the deed to Lauren Fausts mansion.
"Well I don't know what to say." The lawyer said looking at the will and the deed then back to Achenar. "Her will doesn't say who gets the mansion, and you say you found this deed in one of the boxes your aunt left you?"
"Yes sir, I did." Achenar replied.
"Well this would seem to be the real deed to the mansion, so I guess it's yours son." The lawyer said handing the deed back to him.
"Really, you mean it?" He asked excitedly.
"Yep. You are now own the mansion and everything in it. Your aunt even payed all the bills for the heat, power, gas, water, the staff, internet and such for the next 12 years before she died so you don't have to worry about that for awhile." The lawyer said handing over the keys to the mansion.
"Kick ass." Achenar said as he shook hands with the lawyer before leaving and driving away to his new mansion.
"Welcome. Master Achenar I presume?" The butler said opening the door to the mansion.
"Yes it's me." Achenar said stepping into the main hall.
"Vary good then. shall i give you the tour or would you like something to eat first?" The butler asked polity.
"A tour would be great, thanks." He said looking a round.
"right this way then."
The butler proceeded showing Achenar all around the mansion from the kitchens, to his room, to the water-park sized swimming pool and ending the tour at the entrance to the study.
"And here we are at the study." The butler said opening the double doors.
Inside the large room were many books on different subjects as well as a couple of big chairs, a liquor cabinet, a fire place, an old grandfather clock and a desk with a couple of pens, pencils and pieces of paper.
"Wow, this is nice." Achenar said looking around the room.
"Yes, Madam Lauren spent a lot of time in here, some times she wouldn't come out for days when she was writing one of her ideas for a cartoon. Why I remember she was in here for almost two whole months when she wrote the first two seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic."
"Really? Wow! So this is where it all started." Achenar said a little surprised. "I know a lot of people who would kill to be standing here right know. Anyway when's dinner?" He ask turning to the butler.
"Dinner will be served in about an hour, now if that is all then I bid you good evening." He then bowed and walked out of the room closing the doors be hind him.
Achenar sat down in one of the chairs, pulled out a 3DS and played it untill he hears the dinner bell.
After dinner Achenar decided to go back to the study and have a look at some of the books in it. There was a lot of them, some classic fiction books, others were books on different subjects ranging from the multiverse theory and other sciences, to different medical books.
"Wow, Aunt Lauren has a really good collection here." Achenar said poring himself a drink from the liquor cabinet. "Hey I have been meaning to read that one. Oops." He says as he accidentally hits a small statue of some guys head while reaching for the book.
*Click*
The head of the statue turned and one of the bookshelves swong in to the wall.
"Huh? What's in there?" He asked himself grabbing the bag he left in there earlier and walked over to the bookshelf pushing it open more to revel a staircase leading down.
He then followed it down and when he reached the bottom he found himself in a dimly lit room. He quickly found the light switch and flicked it on to revile a huge library.
"Wow! What is this place?" looking around he spoted a table with two books on it next to a chair and fireplace.
He reaches in to his bag and pulled out a match, lite it and through it in the fireplace. Almost instantly the fire started and it's worm glow heated up the cold library. Achenar sat down in the chair with his bag on his lap and looked at the books on the table. The first is an old green leather bound book with the word "MYST" on it.
"MYST? isn't that what was written on these drawing in on of the boxes my aunt left me? What ever I'll check it out later." He said putting it back down on the table and picked up the second one.
The second book was bigger and slightly newer then the first one. It was a brown, leather bound book with a picture of the sun and moon on the cover and had the word "Equestria" on it.
"Equestria? That's the name of the kingdom My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic takes place in!" He sayed opening it and skimming through. "Wow, this book seems to describe Equestria in full detail including some of neighboring kingdoms." He said as he reached the last page. "Why is it that the last page of every book is blank? I mean do the expect you to right a one page last chapter to the book or something?" As he places his hand on that blank page he starts to feel weird.
He tries to move and take his hand off the page but finds that he's stuck.
"Hey what's going on? Why can't I move?" Everything around him started to go black as he started to fell himself fade into the book.
Chapter 1: An unexpected guest
Equestria: the lost age
Chapter 1: An unexpected guest
Twilight Sparkle was in her room looking out at the marvelous night that Princess Luna had laid out.
"How long has it been? A month? A year? " She thought to herself.
It has been so long that she had lost count. She would leave for long periods at a time before but only for a day or two. The last time she say her, she said that she would be gone longer than usual but she would return one day. Princess Celestia said that she had returned to her own world were she belonged but Twilight still felt bad that she might not see her friend again. Her thoughts were interrupted when Spike let out a great big snore. He was getting bigger and would need his own room soon. She decided she should get some sleep, she had a long day a head of her.
Princess Luna walk through the halls of canterlot castle. She made her way to the Star Swirl the Bearded section of royal archives. She new knew what she was looking for and that she didn't have much time to find it.
"Where is it." She said in frustration.
She knew it had to be here, she had checked every where else. The only place left other then here was Princess Celestia room.
"Could she have moved it before I got here?" She thought to her self. "But why? Could it be that even after all these years she still doesn't fully trust me?"
Her time was almost up so she quickly did one last sweep of all the books and scrolls before heading back to lower the moon so her sister could raise the sun.
Twilight woke up to the smell of Spike cooking breakfast. She got out of bed and went down to the kitchen to see what he had made.
"Morning Twilight." Spike greated.
"Morning Spike, what's for breakfast?"
"Hay-bacon and I also made some toast if you'd like some." He said putting the food down on the table.
"No thanks Spike, I'll just have the hay-bacon, then I have to go. I promised Applejack that I would help her with the apple harvest today, then I have to go help Fluttershy with her bunny census." She said eating her breakfast.
"Wow Twilight, where do you find the time to do all this?" Spike asked sitting down.
"You know I'd do any thing for my friends Spike, now if you excuse me I must be off." Twilight then gets up and goes to the door. "Oh. and Spike," she said turning to the teen dragon. "I moved some stuff from the basement so if you want you can have it as your room."
"You mean it Twilight? Thanks." he said happily.
Twilight smiled and then left to help Applejack.
"133...134...and..135. I think that's it Fluttershy." Twilight said to the shy Pegasus mare.
"Oh thank you Twilight, I just don't know what i would do with out your help." Fluttershy said in her usual soft quiet voice.
"No problem. I'll just go put this list in your shed and be on my wa-"
"STAY OUT OF MY SHED! Um...I mean don't go in there please." Fluttershy yelled before going back to her usual way of talking.
"Um..ok, here then." Twilight said handing her the list of bunnies. "Well I got to go back to the library and help Spike move his stuff to his new room." She said tuning to leave.
"Oh that's nice of you, here give him this." Fluttershy said handing Twilight a small feather. "It's one Philomenas feathers. she dropped it last time Princess Celestia asked me to look after her."
"Thanks Fluttershy, I know he'll love it." She said putting the phoenix feather in her saddle bag. She then left and walked back to her house.
By the time she got back it was nearly dark. She opened the door to the library and walked in.
"Spike." She called.
"Down here." Came a replay from the basement.
Twilight walked down the stars to the basement to find Spike on a bed reading a book on gems and other precious stones.
"Hey Spike, you've definitely been busy." She said looking around seeing all the stuff he had brought down.
"Yeah, well I was excited to finally have my own room so I started to bring stuff down after you left." he said.
"Well anyway, Fluttershy wanted me to give you this." She said handing him the phoenix feather.
"Cool, a phoenix feather." He said excitedly. When he got up to thank her a magazine fell out of the book he was reading and fell to the floor.
"What's that?" Twilight asked with a confused look on her face.
"Uh...nothing" he said trying to hid it under the bed.
Before Twilight could say anything a loud familiar sound was herd from up stairs.
"Did you hear that?" Spike asked. Twilight nodded with a smile.
"That sound can only mean one thing." Twilight said as she raced up stairs. "She's back."
"Oh thank Celestia." Spike said when twilight was all the way up. He then put the magazine under his mattress and went up stairs.
Princess Celestia was preparing to go to bed after lowering the sun when she felt a great disturbance in the flow of Harmony.
"What was that?" she said looking out her balcony. "It felt like it came from Ponyville. Well im sure that what ever it is It's nothing my faithful student and her friends can't handle untill morning." She said turning back into her room. She then got into bed and went to sleep.
"I don't under stand." Twilight said looking at the figure passed out on the floor. "When I herd that sound I was sure she had come back."
"Well he dose share a resemblance to her." Spike said looking at him.
"Well we can't just leave him there." Twilight said. "Put him on the couch, I'm going to him get a blanket and pillow. Maybe he can explain what's going on when he walks up." Twilight said going to a closet pulling out a blanket and pillow.
"I hope so." Spike said putting him down softly on the couch. "Well I'm going to bed, night Twilight, see you in the morning."
"Night." She said before he headed back down to his room. "Who are you?" Twilight said looking at him well putting the bag he had with him next to the couch. She then went to her room and went sleep.

Chapter 2: A new world
Darkness surrounded Achenar. How long he had been here? A few minutes? An hour? A Day? He did not know, It was like the Darkness had just swallowed everything when he touched that page. All he could feel was cold all around him. There was no sound, no heat, no light. No wait, there was a light! It was faint but it was there. A small light had formed in front of him seeming to be calling to him. Achenar tried moving toward the light and it started to get brighter. He could hear a voice coming from the light. As he got closer to the light he could make it out more, it was a voice he had heard before when he was younger. The light was getting big and brighter as it started to erase the Darkness. he still couldn't fully make out what the voice was saying but he could tell who's it was, it was his aunts.
"Twilight, I think he's coming too." a new voice said as the light faded way to revel a library vary different then the one he had been in what felt like hours ago.
"Whe..where am I?" Achenar asked. He then looks over to where the voice had come from to find a dragon standing over him. "Who are you?" He asked backing up on the couch.
"Now just calm down and relax, we aren't going to hurt you." Said a purple mare coming out from behind the dragon. "I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is Spike." She said introducing herself and her assistant.
"I'm... I'm Achenar." He said calming down a bit as his memory started to come back from the Darkness a bit.
"Hi Achenar, we would like to ask you a few questions." Twilight said in a calm voice.
"That makes two of us." Achenar said now sitting properly on the coach.
"Well then, why don't you go first then." She said.
"Ok, Where am I?" He asked looking around.
"Well, you are in my house in Ponyville, here in the magical land of Equestria." Twilight said proudly.
"Wait, Ponyville? Equestria? And you you said your name was Twilight Sparkle?" Achenar asked with a bit of a confused look on his face as more of his memory returned.
"Yeah, why?" She ask just as confused.
"That's imposable, unless.." He said putting his hand to his head like he was trying to remember something.
"Unless what?" Spike asked.
"That book...no...but that would mean..." He was interrupted when Spike burped some green flames and a letter appeared.
"A letter from the Princess." Twilight said in amazement. Spike unrolled it and began to read.
"My dearest Twilight,
I thought to inform you that my sister Luna and I will be arriving soon and we ask that you and your friends could meet us at your house in about half an hour.
sincerely yours, Princess Celestia."
"Spike, can you go and get everpony well I prepare for their arrival?" Twilight asked when Spike finished reading.
"Sure thing Twi. But what about Atrenar over here?" Spike said pointing to Achenar.
"It's Achenar, A-can-are. And what a minute, your saying the Princesses are coming here? As in Luna Princess of the Moon and Celestia Princess of the Sun?" Achenar said with a shocked expression on his face as the last of his memory returned.
"Yeah, but how do you know them?" Twilight asked a little confused that some one who has never been to Equestria knew of the princesses.
"That's kind of a long story, so I think it best to wait and tell it when everyone's here." He said as Spike started to leave.
"That makes sense, I guess. I can't wait to hear it when I get back." Spike said as he left to gather Twilights friends.
"Anyway, well Spikes is out getting my friends would you like something to eat? Twilight asked. A small grumble from his stomach helped answer her question.
"Sure, I starving." Achenar said putting his hand to his Stomach.
After a quick breakfast, which consisted of toast and apple slices, Achenar decided to take a better look around Twilights house. It was just like was in the show, all the books kept neatly in alphabetical order on the shelves except for a couple that were stacked next to a desk, a few trinkets here and there, a picture of Twilight and her friends sat on a shelf.
There were a coupe of other things on that shelf caught his eye though. Things that looked like they didn't belong in this world. There was a Rolodex watch, a necklace and a picture of Twilight with-
"Knock, knock. "
There was a knock at the door and Achenar turned to see other five Elements of Harmony standing behind Spike.
"Twilight, We're here." Spike called as they entered the Library.
"Good, your all here." Twilight said coming out of the kitchen.
"So whats this all about sugarcube?" Applejack asked.
"Ya and who's this guy?" Rainbow Dash ask flying over to Achenar getting all up in his face.
"Wow, personal space, back up." Achenar said backing up a bit.
"Calm down Rainbow, he's a friend. Now earlier to day I received a from the princess and she asked for us to meet her here. She should be arriving soon so I will explain every thing when she gets here.
A few minutes latter there was another knock on the door and in steeped the two most beautiful creatures Achenar had ever seen. The show did not do them justice. First was Princess Celestia, the tall, white alicorns blue, yellow, purple, and pink-striped mane and tail that were naturally flowing around. She had an amethyst necklace and crown as well as elegantly designed hooves, magenta eyes, and a cutie mark in the shape of the sun. Everything about her exuded a sense of power and dominion, from the way she walked to the way she held her head. But nothing compared to the other alicorn behind her. Princess Luna, though smaller in stature than her sister, was just as radiant if not more. She wore mystery like a cloak, her dark mane and tail flowed behind her sparkling with the light of many stars. Her beauty was like that of the true voice of the night, a voice that the stars and moon could only echo. Her eyes were a deep blue like the night sky, she ware a small dark tiara and her cutie mark was that of a crescent moon.
"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna. It's honor to see you again." Twilight said as everyone bowed except Achenar who was still in shock from there beauty.
"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student, it's good to see you again. May we sit down it looks like we have a lot to talk about" Celestia said spotting Achenar sitting on the couch still with a shocked look on his face.
"Of course. come sit down." Twilight said offering the princesses a couple of chairs to sit on.
"Thank you Twilight." Luna said sitting down.
"Now I know some of you may be wondering why I have asked you to meet us here." Celestia said looking around. "And the answer to that is sitting here in this room." she said looking at Achenar.
It has come to my attention that not every one knows what Myst is, so her is a summery of it.
Myst is a graphic adventure video game designed and directed by the brothers Robyn and Rand Miller. It was developed by Cyan (now Cyan Worlds), a Spokane, Washington–based studio, and published and distributed by Brøderbund. The Millers began working on Myst in 1991 and released it for the Mac OS computer on September 24, 1993; it was developer Cyan's largest project to date. Remakes and ports of the game have been released for Sega Saturn, Microsoft Windows, Atari Jaguar CD, 3DO, CD-i, PlayStation, AmigaOS, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and iOS by publishers Midway Games, Sunsoft, and Mean Hamster Software.
Myst:
The game puts the you in the role of "The Stranger" who stumbles across an unusual book titled "Myst". The Stranger reads the book and discovers a detailed description of an island world called Myst. Placing his hand on the last page, the Stranger is whisked away to the world described, and is left with no choice but to explore the island. Myst contains a library where two additional books can be found, colored red and blue. These books are traps that hold Sirrus and Achenar, the sons of Atrus, who once lived on Myst island with his wife Catherine. Atrus writes special "linking books" that transport people to the worlds, or "Ages", that the books describe. From the panels of their books, Sirrus and Achenar tell the Stranger that Atrus is dead, each claiming that the other brother murdered him, and plead for the Stranger to help them escape. However, the books are missing several pages, so the sons' messages are at first unclear, and riddled with static.
As the Stranger continues to explore the island, more books linking to more Ages are discovered hidden behind complex mechanisms and puzzles. The Stranger must visit each Age, find the red and blue pages hidden there, and return to Myst Island. These pages can then be placed in the corresponding books. As the Stranger adds more pages to these books, the brothers can speak more clearly. Each brother maintains that the other brother cannot be trusted. After collecting four pages, the brothers can talk clearly enough to tell the Stranger where the fifth page is hidden. If the Stranger gives either brother their fifth page, they will be free. The Stranger is left with a choice to help Sirrus, Achenar, or neither.
Both brothers beg the Stranger not to touch the green book that is stored in the same location as their last pages. They claim that it is a book like their own that will trap the Stranger. In truth, it leads to D'ni, where Atrus is imprisoned. When the book is opened, Atrus asks the Stranger to bring him a final page that is hidden on Myst Island; without it, he cannot bring his sons to justice. The game has several endings, depending on the player's actions. Giving either Sirrus or Achenar the final page of their book causes the Stranger to switch places with the son, leaving the player trapped inside the Prison book. Linking to D'ni without the page Atrus asks for leaves the Stranger and Atrus trapped on D'ni. Linking to D'ni with the page allows Atrus to complete his Myst book and return to the island. Upon returning to the library, the player finds the red and blue books gone, and burn marks on the shelves where they used to be.
Riven:
Riven's story continues where Myst left off. The player once again assumes the role of the "Stranger" in order to help Atrus. Atrus needs the Stranger's help to free his wife, Catherine, who is held hostage on the slowly collapsing Age of Riven. Her captor is Gehn, Atrus' manipulative father and self-appointed ruler of Riven. Gehn is himself trapped on Riven, as Atrus and Catherine had previously removed all linking books from the Age; the very last book to be removed, linking to the Age of Myst, was the one they held to escape Riven. In the misbelief that it would be destroyed, they let the book fall into the Star Fissure, a rift leading out of the damaged Age of Riven into a mysterious, space-like void. Catherine was later tricked into returning to Riven by her sons, whereupon she was taken hostage by Gehn. Eventually, the Stranger discovered the unharmed Myst book, sparking the events of Myst and, some time later, Riven.
At the beginning of Riven, Atrus equips the Stranger with a trap book—a snare that functions as a one-man prison, yet looks identical to a linking book—and his personal diary. This diary summarizes the history of events leading to the Stranger's present situation; Atrus cannot explain in depth, as he is engaged in rewriting the descriptive book of Riven, in an attempt to slow its deterioration. The Stranger must enter the Age with no way of leaving, as they cannot risk sending a real linking book to Riven until Gehn is safely imprisoned, in case he should seize the book and use it to escape his confinement. Instructing the Stranger to capture Gehn in the trap book, find Catherine, and then signal him, Atrus holds out the link book that will transport the Stranger to Riven.
Once there, the Stranger explores the islands of Riven, eventually finding Catherine's prison. The Stranger also travels to the Age of the Moiety, rebellious inhabitants of Riven who, under the leadership of Catherine, are attempting to overthrow Gehn's rule. Because of the decay of Riven's structure, the only way to clearly signal Atrus is to bring about a massive disturbance in the Age's stability—accomplished by reopening the Star Fissure, which Gehn had closed. When it opens, Atrus immediately links to Riven to investigate, and meets the Stranger at the brink of the Fissure. Depending on the player's actions, the ending to Riven varies. In the winning ending, the Stranger tricks Gehn into the prison book and releases Catherine. Atrus and Catherine thank the Stranger, before linking back to the Age of Myst. The Stranger then falls into the Star Fissure, to be taken on the path back to his world. Different player actions can result in the Stranger's entrapment in the prison book, or even his death.
Myst III: Exile:
Exile begins 10 years after the events of Riven, when the Stranger arrives at the home of Atrus and his wife Catherine. Atrus is a scientist and explorer who has mastered an ancient practice known as the Art: he can create links to different worlds, called Ages, by writing special books. This ability is by an ancient civilization known as the D'ni, whose society crumbles after the D'ni city is devastated by a plague. Atrus calls the Stranger to his home to display his newest Age, Releeshahn, which Atrus has designed as a new home for the D'ni survivors.
As Atrus is preparing to leave for Releeshahn, a mysterious man appears in Atrus' study, steals the Releeshahn book and leaves behind another. Following the thief, the Stranger arrives at J'nanin, an Age that Atrus had written long before as a way to teach the Art to his sons. Because the thief has caused considerable damage to the J'nanin book, Atrus cannot accompany the Stranger.
The mysterious man is named Saavedro. Twenty years earlier, Atrus' wayward sons Sirrus and Achenar destroyed Saavedro's home Age of Narayan and trapped him on J'nanin. Saavedro believes his family is dead and swears vengeance on Atrus, unaware that Atrus has already imprisoned his sons for their crimes and that Saavedro's family is still alive. The game can end several ways depending on the player's actions. In the most ideal scenario, Saavedro returns to Narayan peacefully after giving back the book of Releeshahn. Other endings result in Saavedro destroying Releeshahn or killing the player; another option allows the player to leave Saavedro trapped forever.
Myst IV: Revelation:
Atrus calls the Stranger to his home to request his friend's assistance. Years earlier, his two sons, Sirrus and Achenar, destroyed Atrus' linking books and imprisoned their parents in order to plunder the wealth of Atrus' Ages. The Stranger's intervention saved Atrus, who had imprisoned his sons via traps intended for thieves. As it has been twenty years since their imprisonment, Atrus' wife Catherine hopes they have finally repented for their crimes. Atrus is not as sure his sons have reformed, and so wishes the Stranger to act as an impartial judge. After an explosion knocks the Stranger unconscious, the player realizes that Yeesha, Atrus' daughter, has disappeared.
The Stranger sets out to find Yeesha. Traveling to the brothers' prison Ages of Spire and Haven, the Stranger discovers both have escaped their confinement. When the Stranger finds Yeesha again, Achenar appears and tells the Stranger not to free his sister. Achenar explains that his brother kidnapped Yeesha with the intent of switching minds with her, tricking Atrus and Catherine into teaching Sirrus the Art of writing Ages. Achenar insists that he has reformed and that he only escaped so that he could protect his sister. The ending to the game depends on the player's actions; in some endings, Sirrus succeeds in transferring his mind to Yeesha's body and dispenses with both the Stranger and Achenar. In the only good ending, the Stranger trusts Achenar and helps save Yeesha. Sirrus dies from the failed mind transfer, while Achenar is fatally poisoned by toxic fumes in order to save his sister. The Stranger returns Yeesha to her parents. Though pained by his sons' deaths, Atrus resolves to continue on and rectify his past mistakes by properly raising Yeesha.
Myst V: End of Ages:
The game begins as the player responds to a letter from a despondent Atrus. Atrus is a writer of special volumes called linking books, which serve as portals or links to worlds known as Ages. A linking book to the Age of Myst, the setting of the original game, lies sealed in the ruins of the ancient D'ni civilization. The D'ni had the ability to craft linking books, but their society crumbled from within; Atrus and his family have been trying to restore the D'ni people and created an Age for the survivors to live on, known as Releeshan.
The player encounters a strange tablet in the old D'ni caverns. Yeesha, the daughter of Atrus, appears and explains that legends state that in order to fully restore D'ni, someone known as the Grower must utilize the tablet. The artifact has the ability to fully control a mysterious enslaved race known as the Bahro. As Yeesha made the wrong decision upon unlocking the tablet, she can no longer use it; Yeesha instead charges the player with uncovering the tablet's power. After leaving Yeesha, the player meets a D'ni named Esher, who tells the player that Yeesha cannot be trusted and not to give her the Tablet.
At Yeesha and Esher's urging, the player travels across four Ages, collecting four slates that unlock the tablet's power. The player is then faced with the choice of what to do once the tablet is unlocked. Depending on the player's decisions regarding the tablet, there are several possible endings to the game. Traveling to the island of Myst without the tablet will cause Esher to angrily abandon the player on the Age with no way out. If Esher is given the tablet, he will explain he wishes to use the tablet for domination, and will also leave the player trapped. If the player gives the tablet to Yeesha, the tablet simply slips through her hands and disappears into the ground; she walks away, disappointed, leaving the player trapped in D'ni. The only good ending involves giving the Bahro the tablet, ending their enslavement. Arriving at Releeshan, the new home Age of the D'ni, Yeesha and an old Atrus thank the player and speak of a new chapter for the D'ni people; Esher is handed over to the Bahro. The game ends on a vista of Releeshan.

Chapter 3 The First Humans
Equestria: The Lost Age
Chapter 3: The First Humans
Everyone was looking at Achenar, confused to what he could have done in his short time here to have the princesses intervene. Achenar was also confused, all he did was read a book and now it seemed he was Equestria's most wanted.
"Princess, what do you mean?" Twilight asked.
"Last night I thought I felt a disturbance in the flow of Harmony coming from here in Ponyville. Later this was confirmed by my sister Luna when she reported feeling the same thing when she returned from her nightly duties." Princess Celestia said in her regal voice. "When I saw our friend here, my suspicions were confirmed." she said in a serious tone.
"Now, now Tia, Lets give the boy a chance explain himself." Luna said in a calming voice. "Now please tell us who you are and how it is you came to our world." She said sipping some tea that Spike had brought out.
"R-right, ok. My name is Achenar Faust." Achenar said introducing himself. "I come from a place called Earth and as for how I got here, I'm still not on the 100% sure on that." He said shrugging.
"Just tell us what you know Achenar." Luna said in a calm voice.
"Ok, well I guess it started a few months ago when my aunt died." Achenar began to tell the story of how he found the secret library in the mansion and the weird book, leaving out the part about who his aunt was. Everyone listened quietly taking in every detail of the story.
"And when I put my hand on the last page of the book everything around me went dark. When I woke up I was here." Achenar said finishing his story.
"Wow, that's one heck of a story you got there sugarcube." Applejack said when he had finished.
"I'll say" Rainbow Dash chimed in.
"Indeed." Celestia said in a mater of fact tone. "So you say you came here after touching the last page of a book with the word Equestria on it?" she ask.
"Yes your highness." Achenar said.
"I see." Celestia said nodding to Luna.
"There is just one thing I don't get." Achenar said. "Non of you seemed to be shocked about my appearance. I'm not the first human to come to this world am I?" He asked looking at the two princesses and Twilight.
Celestia took a deep breath before answering. "No your not." Celestia said finally. "It's a rather sad and forgotten part of Equestria's history. She said in a sad tone. "The first humans were two brothers by the names of Sirrus and Achenar. They came here many centuries ago, shortly after Luna and I defeated Discord. They came here clamming that they were here to learn about our world and to help better it. B-b-u..." Celestia said tears coming to her eyes.
"But they lied." Luna said finishing her sisters sentence. "They didn't care one bit about our world or about helping it. At first it seemed like they were helping, but as time grow on they started telling me things like: Celestia didn't care about me, they said that the ponies of Equestria rejected and shunned the night that I brought forth, that I should be the one to rule Equestria. Which unfortunately lead to my dark descent into becoming of Nightmare Moon." she explained sadly. "After which they left our world using a strange book which then fell into a fire they had started."
"A few years later their father, a man by the name of Atrus came with his wife to apologize for their sons actions. They said that their sons have been servery punished and wished to know if there was anything they could do to help undo the damage that has been done." Celestia said continuing the story. "I excepted their apology and told them what has been done has been done but thanked them for the offer. They apologized once more before retuning to their world with the use of a book similar to the one their sons used." She said sipping her tea. "1000 years later, about a week before the Summer Sun Celebration, another human came to our world clamming that she wished to learn about our world. Because of what Sirrus and Achenar did I was skeptical at first, but started to trust her when she actually asked about our history and started taking notes. Her name was Lauren Faust" Celestia said with a smile obviously knowing who Achenar's aunt was the whole time. "After Nightmare Moon was defeated and my sister returned, she decided to stay in Ponyville with Twilight and her friends so she could learn first hand about our world." She said taking another sip of tea.
"She stayed with us for two years before returning to her own world for a couple of weeks." Twilight explained. "She would do that a lot, she would stay with us for a year or so, making notes on different things going on, then leave for a week or so."
"I guess that explains the picture of you and my aunt." Achenar said pointing to the picture on the shelf.
"indeed, and if what you said about her is true then that would explain why she didn't come back this time." Twilight said sadly. "But it doesn't explain how you knew about the princesses before you even came here." she said changing the subject.
"In away it does." Achenar said. "You see, were I come from we have this device called a T.V. which allows us to watch events happening kilometers away with out being there. It also allows us to watch these things called "Cartoons" that are like comics put into motion." He explained. "Anyway, back in my world my aunt Lauren was a writer of sorts. What she would do was come up with ideas and stories for these cartoons. One of her most popular cartoons was called My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which I guess put simply is about you and your friends Twilight." Achenar said looking at the mane six.
"So everypony in your would knows about us?" Rarity asked.
"More or less, not everyone watches though. And the Show defiantly didn't do your beauty justice." Achenar said giving a small wink to Luna who blushed.
"Well, that just leaves the matter of what you plan to do now that your here and where you're going to stay." Celestia said finishing off her tea.
"Well I wasn't really expecting to come here, so I guess I'll just play it by ear." Achenar said shrugging. "I also have no Idea where I going to stay. Where did my aunt stay when she was here?" He asked looking at Twilight.
"Well, she had her own house just outside of Ponyville that I guess you could stay in." she said.
"Well then, I do believe that covers everything." Celestia said getting up. "Now it's getting late, so Luna and I will be returning to Canterlot so you can get settled. It was nice seeing you all again." With that the two princesses got up and left the library.
The walk to the house was spent mostly in silent apart from Twilight asking Achenar a few questions about himself and his world. Achenar answered them to the best of his ability. When they finally reached the house Celestia had already lowered the sun and Luna had started to raise the moon.
"Well, here we are." Twilight said stopping in front of a two story building.
They all entered the house and turned on the lights. The interior of the house was nothing special, the walls were painted Eggshell White, there was a small couch and matching love seat in the living room with a cafe table, as well as a kitchen and dinning doom all on the first floor. Up stairs there was a bathroom and two bedrooms that had their own beds.
"Thanks for showing me to the house guys." Achenar said turning to the ponies standing in the living room. "I'm kind of exhaust from today so I think I'll call it an early night." he said stretching and letting out a small yawn.
"Um Achenar darling, I know you didn't real prepare when you came here, so do you have any clothes apart from what you're waring?" Rarity asked.
"I have an extra pair of clothes in my bag. Why?" Achenar asked looking at her.
"Then you simply must let me make you some new clothes." She said extravagantly.
"I would be honored if you were to do that for me." He said with a smile. "I'll stop by your shop tomorrow so you can take my measurements."
"OH my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! You know what this means?" Pinkie Pie asked excitedly. "A party!"
"Calm down Pinkie." Twilight said to the pink party pony.
"That's ok Twilight, I would love to go to one of pinkies fabulous parties. How dose three days from now sound?" Achenar asked turning to face Pinkie.
"That would be perfect, that gives me enough time to invite every one in town and get everything ready." She said as she bounced out of the house.
"Well, I got ta get up early tomorrow so I'll be seeing you surgecube." Applejack said turning to leave.
"Ya, i got to leave too." Rainbow Dash said before she flew out the door not really giving a reason why.
"Well, I best be off if im going to get some designs ready." Rarity said as she left.
"Um...well it was nice meeting you." Fluttershy said in her quiet voice before she to left leaving Achenar alone with Twilight.
"So..." Achenar said not really sure what to say.
"Yeah...well see you later." Twilight said leaving, closing the door behind her.
Achenar sighed and went up the stairs to one of the bedrooms. He put his bag down next to the bed and went to sleep.
A/N: If some one could help me fix up Applejack's parts by making it more southern that would be greatly appreciated.
Chapter 4: The Fourth Chapter
Equestria: The Lost Age
Chapter 4:
The flight back to Canterlot was spent mostly in silence. Luna could tell that Celestia was hiding something. There was still much Luna couldn’t remember about what happened back then and she could tell that there was something Celestia wasn't telling her. She couldn't tell what it was but she could see it in her sisters’ eyes. The whole time they were at the library, Celestias’ eyes never left Achenar.
"Could it have something to do with why I couldn’t find what I was looking for the other night? "She thought to herself.
"Luna."
"Y-yes." Luna said snapping out of her thoughts at Celestias’ words.
"We're here. It's getting late you should go raise the moon as soon as we land." Celestia said to her sister without turning around.
"Right." Luna said looking at the castle.
They landed and Celestia left for her chambers as Luna went to raise the moon.
Luna looked out at the night she had brought forth.
“You’ve really out done yourself this time.” Luna said to herself taking pride in her work.
Satisfied she decided to go to the kitchens for something to eat. On her why she overherd one of the Nocturne guards arguing with one of the regular guards. It was extremely common so Luna was just going to continue on her way when she heard one of them say something that grabbed her attention.
“I’m telling you something’s not right. The princess has been acting strange since last night.” The Nocturne guard said.
“You’re crazy, I’ve haven’t noticed anything different. Even if you’re right what do you plan to do about it?” The other guard asked.
“Whatever. I’ve got to get to my post.” The Nocturne guard said turning to leave.
“Yeah, whatever.” The other guard said turning the other way.
The Nocturne guard came around the corner and noticed the Princess standing there.
“Your majesty!” He said bowing lightly.
“As you were.” Luna said.
“As you wish.” He said continuing on his way.
Luna continued on her way to the kitchens thinking about what she had overheard.
“What’s going on? What is Celestia hiding from me and what part does that boy Achenar play in all this? " Her thoughts were interrupted when the smells from the kitchen met her nose.
Celestia sat on her bed looking out at the night that her sister had brought forth.
“He is not the same person as the one that changed her,” Celestia said to herself. “So why do I feel this way?” She turned and looked at the book sitting on the bedside table. “Maybe it would easier to just let Luna remember what happened, but I must protect my younger sister even from herself.”
She then puts the book away and goes to sleep as tears begin to form in her eyes.
After she got something to eat Luna headed to the throne room to attend to her duties. Apon entering she was gretead by a rare site.
"Cadence? What are you doing here?" Luna asked the other Alicorn in the room.
“You’ve seemed over worked lately, so I thought you might like the night off.” Cadence said looking at Luna with a smile.
"Oh, well. I don’t know what to say.” Luna said a little surprised. “Thanks, but are you sure you don’t mind?”
“It’s ok, with Shining Armor busy lately training the new guards, I’ve been looking for something to do.” She said.
“Well ok, I’ll see you tomorrow then.” Luna said as she turned to leave.
“Good night Luna.” Cadence said as she started to look at some legal documents that required the royal signature.
Luna decided to go back to her room and catch up on her reading. There was a romance novel she had found during her searching that she thought would be a good read.
A/N: Sorry of the long wait, crapy title, and short chapter but I couldn't think of anything else, so what'cha gonna do about it.
Chapter 5: Achenars First Day
Equestria: The Lost Age
Chapter 5: Achenars' First Day
The suns raise filled the room. Achenar grumbled as the light hit his face.
“What a strange dream.” He said sitting up.
He slowly opened his eyes and nearly panics as he looks around the room forgetting where he was. He started to calm down as the events of last night start to return to him.
“Wait, if that wasn’t a dream then...” Achenar rushed to the window and looked outside. A smile grew on his face as he looked out at all the Ponies walking in and around Ponyville. “I’M HERE! I’M ACTUALLY HERE IN EQUESTRIA! Man the guys back home are never going to believe this.” He says as he takes his spare clothes out of his bag and goes to take a shower.
After a quick shower Achenar went to the kitchen to see what food there was, if any.
“Ok let’s see... the bread’s gone moldy... the milk’s cheese... I’m not going to trust the eggs... it’s best to avoid anything blue... the box of Caption Crunch, that I’m guessing my aunt smudged from our world, smells like a dead rat... the cheese doesn’t look to bad... but it looks like the only thing eatable is this bag of oats.” Achenar said as he looked through the cupboards and fridge making a mental note to do some shopping once he got some money. “Oatmeal it is then.”
He then filled the kettle, pleased it on the stove top and was about to turn on the element when there was a knock at the door. Achenar opened the door to see Twilight standing there with a full saddlebag.
“Morning Achenar.” The lavender mare greeted. “Mind if I come in?”
“Sure come in.” Achenar said moving aside to let her in. “So what’s in the saddlebag?” He asked closing the door behind her.
“Well, I knew that the house was short on food and that you would be hungry when you woke up, so I thought I would do a little shopping for you.” Twilight said as she made her way to the kitchen.
“Thanks Twilight, I appreciate it.” So what did you get anyway?” Achenar asked looking at the items she was levitating out of her saddlebag with her magic.
It was a bit odd and exiting at the sometime to actually see Twilight use her magic up close and personal. Achenar had seen it hundreds of times on the show but nothing compared to seeing it firsthand.
“Well, I didn’t know what you liked so I just picked up some of the thing Lauren used to get. I got some apples and other fruit, some vegetables, some cheese, some bread, and milk.” Twilight said putting everything into their proper place. It was obvious that she had done it before.
“That’s great.” He said picking up an apple from the now full fruit bowl. “So would you like to join me for breakfast?”
“Ok.” Twilight said helping him locate the toaster.
After breakfast, which consisted of toast and apple slices, Twilight asked what Achenar had planned for the day.
“Well, I was thinking of heading over to Raritys’ shop to see what she what designs has come up with and so she can take my measurements, but I don’t really know my way around Ponyville.” Achenar said putting his dishes in the sink.
“I would be more than happy to show you around if you want.” Twilight offered.
“That would be great. Thanks.” He said as he washed up and headed for the door.
As they walked through town vary few ponies seemed to notice or care that a human was walking around and the ones that took notice were more interested about who he was supposed to what he was. As some of them came up and introduced themselves, Achenar was surprised to find that the Brony community had managed to get the names of the noncanon background ponies right. After about ten minutes of walking they had finally arrived at Raritys’ store, Carousel Boutique. As they entered the bell above the door rang.
“Be with you in a moment.” Rarity called from the back. After a minute or so the white fashion unicorn came out from the back. “Sorry to keep you waiting. Now how may I help y- Oh Achenar, Twilight! Perfect timing, I just finished the designs for your new cloths.” She said leading them into the back room. “Now I have some experience making cloths of humans thanks to your aunt but not that much for males, so i hope they’re to your liking. She said handing him the drawings.
“These are really good” he said as he looks through the drawings of the cloths she had designed. Of course he would have said that even if they weren’t that good. He would just be thrilled to have clothing designed by the Rarity.
“You really mean it?” She asked excitedly. Achenar nodded as he placed the drawings back on the table. “In that case, do you mind if I take your measurements now?”
“Go ahead.” Achenar said as he stood up tall so she could take his measurements.
“I’m going to go wait out front.” Twilight said walking back to the front of the store.
“Ok” He said as Rarity began taking measurements.
A few minutes later Rarity and Achenar came out of the backroom. Twilight looked up from the catalogue she was looking through and walked over to them.
“Anyway I should have the first a few of the designs done later today and the rest by tomorrow evening.” Rarity said as she double checked he notes.
“I’ll be sure to stop by later then.” Achenar said turning to Twilight.
“Ready to go?” Twilight asked.
“Eeyup.” He said as they walked towards the door.
Twilight continued to show Achenar around Ponyville. After awhile they decided to stop at Sugarcube Corner for lunch. Achenar sat down at one of the tables well Twilight went to place their order. She came back a little bit later with two milkshakes and two pieces of cake.
“Here you go.” Twilight said levitating the food onto the table and sitting down.
“Thanks.” Achenar said taking a sip of his milkshake. “So, is Pinkie Pie here?” He asked looking around for the pink party pony.
“Mr. Cake said that she was making a delivery today.” She said taking a bite out of her cake.
“I see.” Achenar then by force of habit pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time, forgetting that the ponies of Equestria probably weren’t use to seeing them.
“What’s that?” Twilight asked looking at the strange device.
“What this? It’s just my cell phone.” He said showing it to her. “I can use it to call people but I don’t think my plan covers other worlds.”
Twilight was about to say something but was interrupted by three familiar voices
“Hey Twilight.” The Cutie Mark Crusaders said in unison.
“Who’s your friend?” Scootaloo asked cocking her head to the side.
“Hey girls, this is Achenar, he’s Lauren’s nephew.” She said introducing him.
“Oh yeah Applejack told me about him.” Apple Bloom said excitedly.
“That’s right, my sister Rarity is making him some new clothes.” Sweetie Bell said looking at Apple Bloom. “Hi I’m Sweetie Bell, Raritys’ sister.” She said introducing herself.
“My name’s Apple Bloom, I’m Applejacks’ little sister.” Apple Bloom said doing the same.
“I’m Scootaloo, awesome speedster.” She said proudly.
“And we’re...THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS, YEAH! ” They shouted in unison.
“Nice to meet you.” Achenar said with a little chuckle. “So what are you three up to?” He asked already knowing the answer.
“We’re going to earn our cutie marks.” Sweetie Bell said.
“And how are you going to do that?” Achenar asked trying to hold back his laughter.
“Vinyl Scratch said she would teach us about DJing today.” Apple Bloom said excitedly.
“Ya it’s going to be awesome.” Scootaloo said.
“MARK CRUSADER DJS, YEAH! ” The three shouted in unison.
The three fillies continued on their way to try to earn they cutie marks as Twilight and Achenar finished their lunch.
After finishing their tour of Ponyville, Twilight and Achenar made their way back to The Carousel Boutique to pick up some of Achenars’ new clothes.
“Oh good, there you are.” Rarity said as they entered the store. “I just finished making the first of the designs. Tell me what you think.” She said as she levitated the clothes in front of him.
First was a plain blue T-shirt and matching pants, seconded was a brown long sleeve shirt and khaki pants, finally there was a green and gray striped shirt and black pants.
“These are great. I really like them.” Achenar said as Rarity folded them up neatly and put them in a bag.
“Wonderful. Now I should have the rest done, as well as some formal wear, some time tomorrow.” She said handing the bag over to Achenar.
“Alright then, I’ll see you tomorrow.” He said turning to leave.
As Achenar and Twilight exited the store they passed a depressed Sweetie Bell.
“I’m never going to get my cutie mark.” She huffed, not really noticing Achenar and Twilight.
“I guess DJing wasn’t her thing.” Achenar said as they head back to his new home in Ponyville.
When they reached the house the sun had started to set. Twilight had to get back to the library and trotted off. Achenar went inside and made himself some a sandwich for dinner and some of the tea that twilight had bought before putting his new clothes in the dresser in his bedroom and heading off to bed.

Chapter 6: On The Seconed Day part 1: A Frozen Morning
Achenar woke up the next day and got out of bed.
“My second day in Equestria. Can’t wait to see what happens.” He said stretching.
He got some of his new clothes out of the dresser and went to take a shower.
“Wow these new clothes Rarity made fit me perfectly.” Achenar said getting changed afterwards. All of a sudden something pokes him. “OW! What the- a sewing needle? I guess it must have gotten stuck while Rarity was sewing my pants together.” He said pulling out the needle and carefully putting it in his bag.
Achenar went to the kitchen to make some breakfast and found a small bag and a note sitting on the counter.
“Huh? What’s this?” He asks himself picking up the note and reading it.
"Dear Achenar,
I know you will want to buy some of your own things but don’t have any money. So please except this small gift as sign of good will.
Sincerely yours, Twilight Sparkle."
“Wow!” Achenar said as he looked inside the bag to see it was full of gold coins that he guessed were Bits. He quickly put the bits into his bag and made himself a quick cheese sandwich for breakfast.
Achenar put his bag over his sholder and walked out the door to find a newspaper covered in muffin crumbs on the front porch. He reaches down and looks at the paper.
“Huh, Equestria Daily’s a thing here.” He said with a chuckle looking at the name of the paper. All of a sudden Achenar felt a chill run through his body as the air around him got cold. “Burr. Why is it so cold all of a sudden?”
“So you’re the Human everyone has been talking about.” A cold voice said.
Achenar turned to see a cloaked teal blue Unicorn with a silvery-white mane and a Cutie Mark in the shape of a Snowflake and an Icicle standing a few feet from him.
“Uh, ya. My Names Achenar Faust. What’s your name?
“My name is Krosis Icewind. But everypony calls me Frozen. I live just up the road.” Krosis said introducing himself.
“Nice to meet you Krosis.” Achenar said “So, how can I help you?”
"Oh I was just passing by and thought I would say hello." he said.
"Well that was neighborly of you." Achenar said shivering a bit.
"Well I got to get going." Krosis said turning to leave. "By the way, I specailize in Ice Magic, so if you ever need something frozen don't hesitate to ask."
"Good to know." Achenar replied as Krosis started to walk away.
As he walked away the air started to warm up again and Ahenar noticed that a layer of frost had formed where Krosis was standing.
"Well he seemed nice." Achenar said before continuing on his way.
A/N: A short chapter do to writers block.
