"I can't believe what just happened. The paper says what happened Crystal Prep Academy collapsed in an explosion. But they don't know that Vargas's HQ was underneath it. We destroyed it before he could create his meta-human army, but not with a casualty. Caleb Simon. Monica was devasted so much that's she not even talking to me because she blames The Masked Matterhorn. Seeing what these powers can do firsthand. I don't think a whole army with rouge metas is a good idea," As she sneaked inside. "That would mean hundreds or even thousands will random powers, new suits, new abilities, and new threats. Which is why I need new ways to find Vargas."

As Matterhorn grabbed the suitcase, Ocellus tackled her.

"Got you!" She exclaimed.

"Damn it! I was so close. What gave it away?" She asked.

"Well, the mirage reflectors in your new stealth suit seem to have a short in them. But to be honest, I heard your chatter a mile away. No offense, you really stop talking to yourself, its weird."

"I didn't come this close, to claim my prize," As Matterhorn grabbed the cupcake.

"Wait I also..." Ocellus tries to stop her but it was too late.

"You rigged the cupcake!?"

Securty activated. As Ocellus drones came on.

"Good thing, you programmed your bots to recognize me, right?"

"THe Masked Matterhorn, yes. Stealth Matterhorn, no."

Prepare to be destroyed.

Before the robot had the chance, Matterhorn got on its back and pulled the wires out of it.

"No, I lost my appetite for the day," Matterhorn said.

"At least we now know, the suit is flawed before we field test it."

"Yeah, I thought if added a thermal compressor tech it would cover my body temperature, never took the thought that it also created extra heat the suit creates. Small words, my sweat short-circuited it. So much for the Stealth Matterhorn," Matterhorn throws it in the trash. "Thanks for helping me out, Ocellus."

"No problem."

At Topanga's

"And she still won't answer," Twilight tried calling her but it went to voicemail. "Why am I always paying the price for Matterhorn's actions."

"You were at school pretty for a Saturday," As Moondancer took a seat.

"Hi, Moondancer, how do you know?"

"I was working in my lab. Thought I heard your voice."

"Really? What did you hear?"

"Not much, I had to leave to help Potion Nova with some of her samples."

"Hey, Moondancer," Ocellus came in.

"Hey," She replied back. "Uh, Twilight have you been feeling different in any way since our time at Vargas' lair?"

"Different? Uh, no. Why?"

"No reason... I gotta go," Then Moondancer walked out.

"That was weird. I wonder if she knows what we were doing this morning.

...

...

"So what happened again?" Zapp asked as flew on a lightning bolt.

"I was testing on a new stealth suit, but it was flawed so I decided to scrap it, but I realized it went missing," Twilight explained.

"So it's like, really gone. As in somebody stole it?"

"Yes, but it was a beta version, I never tested outside. I ran a search program to find it, but so far no luck."

"I'll keep looking and let the others know what happened. The last we need a someone running around in a stealth suit causing trouble with Vargas and Mayhem on the loose." Zapp went silent.

"Okay, Twi, think, the suit was made out of the garden center spider, which gives off a distinct electric charge. So if I limit the search to that polarity, I might get something."

She did just that and heard something making her go outside.

"Is anyone out there? Sandbar, Starlight, Nova, Silverstream?" Twilight said their names but heard nothing but not before someone punch her and froze both her arms. "Why does every ambush have to involve ice powers? Whoever you are, I see you fixed the deflectors on the suit. But are smart enough to defeat my cupcake!"

Twilight kicked a canister to activate the trap the Ocellus set up.

Intrunder, prepared to be destroyed! The security bot came on and chased after it which allowed Twilight to break free of the ice. Meanwhile, the bot brings forth his infrared scanners and fires an energy bolt at the Stealth Matterhorn.

"Let's hope you didn't repair all the suit's problems," Matterhorn said as set her goggles to thermal mode and got the body heat of it. "Perfect the increased body heat is giving me heat reading. Not only that, you copied my powers."

Matterhorn fired an ice bolt only for it to dodge it.

"So, who are you?"

Stealth Matterhorn grabbed her by the leg and tossed her aside and walked into the vault.

"Looking for me," Matterhorn surprised it then punched right at the face, disabling the stealth function but not it had the invention that one of the students made and left but not before Matterhorn put a tracker on it.

"You came in here to steal The Micro-minimizer?" She asked. "That's what you been looking for? Well, you're gonna have to deal with me and the patent office."

As she followed, she saw Moondacner's lab open.

"That's odd, I didn't know that Moondancer was conducting meta-expermients. Wait a minute, she asked if I was different since our time at Vargas' headquarters. What if Moondancer was exposed to the one vial that day? But there's no way that she became the Stealth Matterhorn. Why break into Nexus when you have access as a student? And why head to Simon Academy?"

"Guys, I've found the suit," Matterhorn called the others.

"You did, where is it?" Saddle Rager asked.

"On someone heading for Simon Academy?"

"Could be Monica?" Zapp asked.

"Let's not jump to conclusions, darling." Radiance said.

"Just meet there."

At Simon Acaamdey, Monica tried all day to get access to her's dad laptop.

"Yes, finally," Monica got in and played a video of Caleb's personal diary.

Pesonal Log #417: Stargazer Shadow is amassing a meta-human army. It's a danger to humanity that must be stopped at all costs. In here are the blueprints for a plan to neutralize that army. And for anyone who doubts the army's existence, look no further than The Masked Matterhorn including her allies, Zapp, Radiance, Filli-Second, Mistress Marevelous, and Saddle Rager. Mark my words, more of them will come. And they must be stopped.

"You were right, dad, and you did stop them. At the cost of your life. But I promise you, I'm letting Vargas try again," As Monica downloaded the files. "I'll take down all the meta down, now that I have the means."

A video camera showed The Masked Matterhorn on a helicopter pad.

"Matterhorn! You picked a bad time to trespass!"

Outside, the rest of the gang caught up.

"According to the tracker, I planted," Matterhorn said. "The Stealth Matterhorn is inside. And there's no sign of forced entry."

"Why would there be, when Monica has keys to the kingdom," Mareveouls said.

"I'm afraid, you might be right."

Later, The Power Ponies walked to the very center of the school.

"Switching to thermal vision," Matterhorn said. "We should be able to see him due to the suit body's temp issues."

"And I will show him my brand of stealth," As Radiance went invisible.

"Got a lock!" Zapp exclaimed. "The jig is up, Monica!"

"Hold right there, Zapp" Monica was on their side of the room

"If she didn't steal the suit--" Saddle Rager exclaimed before dodging ice blasts.

"No time for guessing!" Mareveouls said before throwing a horseshoe at it only realizing it was Radiance.

"Another meta-human soldier? So my dad didn't stop Vargas' army from growing," As Monica draw her flame sword.

"Well, I will! For good!" She charged right at Matterhorn.

"Monica, wait!" Matterhorn exclaimed without knowing the Stealth Matterhorn was right behind her, but Zapp kicked it.

"Can't say that came as shock," Zapp exclaimed as Monica swung her sword at Matterhorn forcing her to dodge.

"I'm taking all the metas down today! And I don't care who's first!" Then Fill-Second came by and grabbed it.

"You know kids shouldn't play with matches, let alone flame swords," She said then Stealth Matterhorn froze Monica to a wall and grabbed the sword.

"Saddle Rager, get Monica down, while the rest of us take this guy out."

"On it," Saddle Rager did just that.

The Stealth Matterhorn activated the flame sword but not someone else came from behind and disarmed it and that someone was Moondancer.

"Hey, guys! Need some backup?"

"Moondancer with meta powers!?" Zapp asked. "What the hell is happening?"

"Guys, we need to focus!" Matterhorn reminded her then saw the Stealth Matterhorn knock down Saddle Rager and grabbed Monica.

"Let go of her, you ruffian!" Radiance exclaimed the fired an energy bolt at it but for it to miss and it tossed Monica out of the building.

"Not what she meant!" Mareveouls said as she used her rope to catch her then pulled her back in.

Much Later...

"I don't care that you saved my life! You should've saved my dad at Crystal Prep!" Monica shouted at Mareveouls.

"Monica! How can you say such a thing?" Moondancer asked.

"And how long you have powers?" Monica turned to her.

"That's a good question," Filli-Second chimed.

"Is everyone around here is member of Vargas' army?!"

"Monica, just because someone has powers doesn't mean they're part of an army," Moondacncer said. "And the truth is, I don't know how I got them, but I promise you, I don't work with Vargas. You gotta trust me."

"I do trust you, Moondancer. It's these guys I don't."

"Monica, they were fighting that jerk hard I as I was. You've gotta get over this hatred of Matterhorn."

"My dad is dead because of her!"

"That's not how it happened," Saddle Rager came in. "We did everyone we could to save him and I know you're hurting right now but all of us were affected by the explosion. Moondancer lost her uncle, the city lost a school."

"Wait, Sadds right, all of us were affected by the explosion," Matterhorn said. " Moondancer, is there any chance that you got any powers by being close to the experiment when it exploded?"

"I've run a number of tests on myself, and since I didn't come in contact with magic rock the way you told me, it does make the most sense."

"Then why don't I have powers?"

"You were wearing that mask the day of the explosion, maybe it protected you somehow."

"But that doesn't explain the new guy," Zapp came in. "Where did he get ice powers?"

"Is he a member of Varags' army?"

"I don't know, but with your help, I'm sure I can find out."

"Okay," Monica complied then put on her mask. "But the mask stays on, just in case."

"Whatever works for you," Fill-Second said. "So any ideas?"

"I'm running a scan of my tracer, but it must've shorted out when the suit was fried. We'll need a new way to track him down."

"I found a piece of his suit when he attacked me," Saddle Rager held a piece of the suit.

"I'll scan it for clues," Monica said.

"The suit is made of charged spider silk that gives off an electromagnetic field. Similar to those used in cell phone towers. By trialing his energy field against various cell towers across the city. I can tell exactly where he's going.

"Cell phone towers! Of course!" Matterhorn thought about it. "I could use you 12 hours ago when I first lost the suit. Where's he headed?"

"Uh he headed to Canterlot Island."

"Great," Zapp exclaimed.

"Yeah. But what's not so great is what he stole. I just ran an inventory of the chemicals in the lab, and a number of toxic Dixons are missing.

"Thanks, Monica says Stealth Matterhorn stole a bunch of poison. That would explain why he stole the Micro-minimizer."

"How come?" Filli-Second asked.

"It can convert liquid into microscopic particles that enable them to become airborne," She explained.

"Combine with the deadly toxins, he could disperse a poisonous gas over the city," Radiance exclaimed then notice something. "Has seen Matterhorn?"

Meanwhile...

"Hey, Twilight how you doing?"

"I've been doing fine, how are you?"

"Not great, to be honest. But I feel like I've been taking it out on the wrong people which is why I'm calling, I wanted to say I'm sorry. For overacting your relationship with The Masked Matterhorn. She saved my life today. And, well, Moondancer helped me realize that she or the others are not enemies. I was hoping we could be friends again."

"That makes me really happy, Monica."

"Me too. I call you later."

Then Saddle Rager caught up with her.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, dealing with personal issues.

"Moving on, does anyone have any ideas to get to the Canterlot Statue? I mean, the ferry isn't exactly the best choice for a choice sneak attack," Moondacncer explained.

"I got one!" Zapp created a lighting bolt and grabbed her, Saddle Rager, and Filli-Second and rode on it, while Radiance and Mareveluos rode on a magic carpet and Matterhorn used her wings. "Relax, Moondancer, this is perfectly safe."

"I love the fact that thinking of my concern when a crazed meta has escaped with enough chemicals to poison the city," She exclaimed.

"Well, lucky for us, that crazed meta is right up ahead at our 2:00," Fill-Second said as they made it to the island.

"If you can get me closer, I can get the first hit."

"Are you sure? I don't want you to get hurt."

"My friend Twilight has a saying. 'With great power comes great responsibility.' . I think it fits the occasion."

Moondancer dropped off the thunderbolt and deliver a kick to the Stealth Matterhorn then it when invisible.

"The tanks on a launch timer," Radiance looked at the tanks and saw a timer. "I'll work on shutting it down."

Stealth Matterhorn grabbed Mooondacner and threw her off the blinding but hanged on the statue, while Zapp tackled him to the lower part of the state only for him to throw her off as well.

"How that's timer coming along?" Marevelous asked.

"Working on it," Radiance replied. "Let's hope that time electronics class pays off."

"I've got him!" Fill-Second shouted then kicked him off the ledge where it was standing but quickly turn the stealth mode and climb back up.

"Here's electricity in your eye!" Matterhorn fired multiple electric bolts at him that shorted the suit's stealth mode.

"Is everything okay?" Moondancer asked.

"Nope, the timer has layers of encryption. We only have 45 seconds left," Radiance replied.

"45 seconds? That should leave me ten whole seconds for a curtain call," Moondancer exclaimed as she got to work.

Such as Matterhorn fought off the Stealth Matterhorn, and Radiance came in and did a backflip kick to him. Then Zapp fired an electric blast from her gauntlets but he dodged it and hit Mareveouls. Then it once again went into stealth mode but Fill-Second grabbed his arms and Zapp hit him again.

"Okay, Moondancer, all the powers in the world aren't going to help if your brain can't figure it out. Let's try a nonsequential algorithm," She did just that and launched were terminated. "Yes, with seconds to spare."

"Enough playing around!" Zapp exclaimed helping Matterhorn. "Let's show this poser who the real deal is!"

She vaulted her in the air, then Matterhorn kicked him on the chest.

"Game over, Miss Muffet," Matterhorn exclaimed as Moondancer came from behind and wrestled it down the Mareveouls tied him up.

"Now to see to who really behind this," As Matterhorn pulled off the mask as she does, it tore most of the suit to reveal a monstrous image making everyone feel grossed out.

"And that's will give me nightmares," Zapp exclaimed at the monster damaged a news copter.

"Great, my first copter rescue."

Mareveouls used her rope and caught the copter allowing Fill-Second and Moondacner to get on board.

"Hang on, folks. Help has arrived," Moondancer said as both dropped out of the copter and landed padding due to Radiance.

"Nice work, everyone, but that monster got away."

"I still can't believe you have powers," Twilight exclaimed as she, Moondancer, Sandbar, Ocellus, and Monica walked around the city. "Wish I was there to see it."

"You should've turned on the TV," Monica said. "It was all over the news."

"Really? So everyone saw Matterhorn and her friends saving the city?"

Then the people chanted Moondancer's name.

"Well, they saw someone all right," Monica said as she signed autographs.

"Careful! The grate is breaking!"

Just as the grate was breaking, Sandbar and Ocellus grabbed the people before they felled.

"How in the hell did you do that?" Monica asked.

"I don't have the slightest clue how but it looks like we're not the only ones," Sandbar said as multiple showed off various powers.

"I think the meta-virus is airborne," Twilight exclaimed.
