It was late in the day, at Canterlot High, as students went around their day a certain buzz was going on.

"What going on?" Sunset asked Flash Sentry.

"Didn't hear the news from last night, a monster-sized lizard had attacked the City, luckily The Masked Matterhorn, Zapp, Radiance, Fill-Second, Mistress Mareveouls along with Saddle Rager stop it, but it also turned the Doctor was somehow connected to it," Flash said to her.

"That's something unexpected," Sunset said. "That's nice but I need to get going to the band room we had practice today."

"Sure, no problem."

"Hey, Sunset, how it's hanging?" Rainbow asked as she walks in.

"Nothing much except that the fact you, Rarity, and Pinkie along Mareveouls and Saddle Rager fought off a giant lizard," Sunset said as she grabs her guitar.

"Well it's a bit more complicated than that," Rarity said.

"What do you mean?"

"That Fluttershy is Saddle Rager, and Applejack is Mistress Mareveouls is Applejack," Pinkie blurted.

"You're kidding me, right?"

"She's right," Both Applejack and Fluttershy nodded.

"How did it even happen?"

"That's a long story...." As Applejack explained.

Later that night, The Masked Matterhorn flew over to the Simon Tech Tower.

"The Simon Tech Tower, one of the most responsible buildings in the city. Too bad the people don't know what's really going on inside. Still can't believe Caleb framed David for that Nightcrawler attack on the city only to hire him as a teacher at Simon Academy. Eh, who I am kidding? That's what'd I expect from Caleb Simon. Specially tinted windows."

"Nice try, Caleb, but I can see alright through them," As she actives her thermal vision on her goggles. "Just like I can see right through you. You might be able to pro-Matterhorn but the truth is you told me my days are numbered. So I'm here to find out what you've got in store for me."

She listens to the video of Willam being furious for not accepting him at Simon Academy after framing her daughter to be kicked out.

"Was Caleb the one who Monica canned from Nexus? But why? Looks like no one's safe from that jackass. Not even his own daughter. But if I'm going to take Simon down, I'll need someone on the inside. And if Monica knows the truth, maybe she'll willing to help. I need to get my hands on that footage."

Then Caleb sends it to the recycle bin.

"Great, there's the old Sparkle luck for you, but there has to be the main server the footage was uploaded to. And since Monica knows the building better than anyone, might as well enlist her services immediately, besides, I think Monica's starting to warm up to me."

"Matterhorn? You do realize you are trespassing and I'll call this Active security."

"So much for my positive outlook!"

Matterhorn got on a drone forcing the other two to fire she stand on, then started to descend.

"Picking up way too much velocity, active wings!" As wings sprouted on her back and landed right on one and fired an ice beam up close destroying it.

"Nice aim! You win a series of official Matterhorn Sparkle Stars."

Matterhorn threw two six-pointed stars at its turrrents and it exploded when it fired.

"I keep underestimating how much Monica dislikes The Masked Matterhorn. Good thing she wants to meet me as Twilight for breakfast. The request I need to make is better off coming from her best friend."

"Monica, if I had a secret, but I knew it would really upset you, would you still wanna hear it?" Twilight asked.

"Of course, Twi were best friends, there should be no secrets between us," Monica replied.

"Well, what if you told your dad couldn't be trusted?"

"Why would you say that?"

"There's has been some talk on Facebook that he's out to destroy The Masked Matterhorn."

"Where are you getting at?"

"I think your dad who framed you and got you kicked out of Nexus High."

"That's ridiculous, what proof do you have?"

"I don't, not at the moment, but the answers lie somewhere in Simon Tech, and I want you to help me find them."

"You mean spy? No. Not because I don't want to, it's because there's nothing to see."

"People aren't always who they seem to be, Monica."

"Well, my dad is, and I'll prove it to you," As she picks up the newspaper. "Look, you have the week off from school, while they fixed the damage Nightcrawler caused to Nexus, right? Well, come spend a day at Simon Academy with me."

"A day at Simon Academy, huh?"

Maybe this was a bad idea. Twilight thought to herself as they walked into Simon Academy seeing some familiar faces. Gunther Anderson. Spencer Rhodes. Caleb Simon. "Wow. Talk about a Matterhorn Nightmare."

"You said something?"

"Nothing, I just need a drink of water."

"Okay, but hurry up. We don't wanna be late for mechanical engineering."

"Sparkle, you're late," Crawford was behind her. "And I will not- wait you don't go to this school."

"Dr. Crawford! No, I'm visiting for the day. And the bell hasn't rung so therefore I'm not late."

Then the bell ringed.

"Ha, now you are late. Please take your seat."

Much Later...

"Twi, this is Clayton Dagger," Monica introduce to him. "Clayton, Twilight Sparkle. Twi's sitting in for the day."

"Nice to meet you, Clayton. Nice laptop."

"Thanks, my expertise is in the manipulation of metal alloys, with a focus on steel. I crafted this baby, along with these steel hover discs. It's what got me into this awesome school. And now I'm lucky enough to study under the great David Crawford. He's my hero."

"Yeah, I can relate."

"All right class. Enough chatter. Open your book to chapter-"

"David, A word." Caleb came in.

"To chapter 11, read the first ten paragraphs."

"Uh, I need to use the restroom," Twilight got up.

"You just sat down."

"Monica, the proper level of hydration is eight eight-ounce glasses of water a day which means lots of trips to the bathroom."

Twilight overheard David and Caleb speaking.

"David, did you happen to have a failsafe frequency for your mechanical arms? You know, in case they don't sync properly," Caleb said.

"Normally, it was 47 gigahertz, but now being literally fused with me, there is no need for such. Why?"

"Oh, I was just looking for an area to improve. Thought a Simon contribution might raise the bar. "

"The bar has been raised as high as it can go, Caleb. I couldn't share them for corporate gain."

"You do have a point but please, keep the option open. Better get back to your class."

As they went in their respective ways, Twilight had her suit underneath her clothes and use its camouflage mode to blend in with the walls.

"Monica, already thinks I'm preoccupied for a while. So I might as well see what Caleb's up to."

Twilight watch Caleb enter a coded lab.

"A coded lab in an already super secure building, huh?"

Twilight got in there before it closed.

"Seems like the perfect place to upload sensitive footage. Nice work, Sparkle. Wonder what other goodies I'll find back here."

Twilight finds a bunch of scientists working around gear on The Power Ponies.

"There is no room for failure, Stargazer Shadow is working on a meta-human army. Evidenced by the six heroes he's already created. The Masked Matterhorn, Zapp, Radiance, Mistress Mareveulus, Filli-Second, and newest one, Saddle Rager.

"What?" Twilight questioned.

"Your job is to find a way to neutralize their powers. Or if need be, neutralize them."

"We got down of that part, sir, we called The Conductor."

"A robot designed to destroy me? That is not encouraging. Need to get out of here before I become Crash Test Matterhorn."

...

"Is everything okay? You were gone for a long time."

"I'm okay, I need to show you something,"

"Hello, Twilight," Stoner came by while he secretly place a transmitter on her shoulder.

"It looks like a needle with a micro-transmitter but why put it on me?"

"Better question, what's Stoner doing at Simon Academy?" Monica asked as Stoner became the Bull.

"Crap, no chance to get away and change, unless," Twilight ran straight to it.

"Twilight!"

Twilight jumped on the Bulldozer only to be thrown into another room.

"What's going on?" Caleb said.

"We need to get you safe, sir," A security guard exclaimed.

"I am safe, you fool. Release the Clawbots!"

Several Claw-type bots surrounded him.

"Clawbots? Did you take my tech? Without my permission?" David asked furiously.

"Be happy I did. Who else could stop that Bull?"

"Someone needed a Bull tamer?" Matterhorn asked while arriving.

"Matterhorn?" Monica asked.

Bulldozer had no trouble dealing with the Clawbots.

"If I can get him to shock himself, maybe I can introduce the phrase 'Dumb as Rhino." Hey, big guy. Recognize me?"

Bulldozer charged straight at her.

"Oh, I guess you do," As Matterhorn rolled out of the way and a Clawbot was on his head. "It's going to take more than one to stop him."

"Oh, Bulldozer, pal. you got a little Clawbot on you. Here let me get that for you."

Matterhorn pushed him back, then winced a little.

"That dude is harder than a brick wall."

Matterhorn-fired electric beam at him shocking him.

"Dumb as a Bull. Copyright: The Masked Matterhorn."

"What did you do?" Caleb asked.

"He did exactly what sent Bulldozer to do," In came Vargas. "Take down your defense grid so I could enter this fortress. My meta-human army is coming, Caleb. I know you're working on something to stop it, and I intend to take it from you."

"This is a poor strategic maneuver, Vargas. You're outnumbered."

"Oh, am I?" He pressed a button and soon multiple Bulldozers showed up.

"Now that's what I call a horn section."

Matterhorn created an ice barrier.

"Stay behind the ice barriers!" As one of them broke through.

"David, you told me your tech could withstand anything!"

"It can when I'm in control. Now let me show you how it's done." As he acted his robot arms and handle them. "You will rue the day you enter this school! Science created you, but it will also bring you down!"

"Dr. Crawford is right," Clayton said. "He's protecting the school with his tech. We should do the same."

Both Spencer and Gunther nodded.

Spencer got in his Destroyer battle suit while Clayton wore a metal suit with riding on metal discs.

"In the name of Simon Acameby, attack!"

Clayton throws a metal disc at one of them, and Black Hawk did a sonic blast to follow up.

"The students and faculty are fighting back!" Matterhorn exclaimed. "Man! that's a deadly-looking group. When I woke up this morning, I did not see this team-up happening." As Matterhorn jumped on one.

"But I'll take help where I can get it."

Destroyer fired a missile only to miss.

"Destroyer, the Bulldozers are still people, remember?"

...

"Impressive!" Vargas exclaimed. "All this to stop me, it didn't have to be like this, Caleb. I came to you first. You could've created the meta army with me instead of trying to stop it."

"We can still work together, Stargazer," Caleb suggested.

"It's Vargas! And you have proven you can't be trusted."

"Then you can't leave the premises."

"Oh, I had no intention of leaving." Vargas glowed the had a bomb inside of him.

"You're artificial replibot," Caleb ran out of the room before it went off.

...

"Black Hawk, send me a sonic blast."

Black Hawk did a sonic blast and Clayton threw several discs to a Bulldozer which exploded upon contact. Then Matterhorn dodged and blasted a beam of ice on its arms.

"That looks like the transmitter Stoner tried to put on me earlier. That must be how Vargas is controlling them." As Matterhorn pulled off the transmitter.

"Everyone! Vargas's using transmitters to control the Bulldozers. Let's work as a team to remove the devices.

Crawford picked one of up and analyze it.

"Vargas's serum turned them into Bulldozers, but he used mind control to get them to do his bidding. Impressive."

Clayton tossed a disc to cracked Stoner was back to normal.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"Simon Academy."

"Well done," Caleb clapped his hands. "I am impressed with this little Simon security group. Perhaps we should give it a name. The Simon Commandos, perhaps."

"The Simon Commandos, what exactly did you conbrtiute Caleb?"

"Me? I destroyed Vargas."

"Whoa! Way to go, Dad!" Monica cheered. "Should we have security apprehend his partner."

"No. No, daughter. I think Matterhorn proven herself today. Not only by fighting alongside us, but by becoming a permennt member of the Simon Commandos, perhaps?"

"No, thanks, Caleb. I have my own teammates to fight my battles. And I'll show myself out."

Matterhorn grew her wings, and flew out of there.

"Twi. you okay?" Moinca asked as Twilight came in.

"Yeah," Twilight replied. "I figreued I'd better of staying out of sight until things calmed."

"Well, I hope you caught some of it, because it proves my dad a good guy. He even offered Matterhorn a spot in the Simon Commandos."

"I hope she took his offer on it."

"You picked a pretty eventful day, to visit Simon Acaademy, Ms. Sparkle," Crawford said. "Although, I'm not surprised. Chaos usually surrunds your business associate."

"Well I call it, the ol' Sparkle luck, anyway my mom need me home so I can help with dinner," As Twilight left out.

Later that night

"Monica, what am I doing?" Mattehorn asked herself while flying through the city. "Is it possible to be your best friend and keep secrets from you? Caleb lies to you, and I call him a villain, but is what I'm doing any different? I have to tell you the truth. I have to tell you I'm The Masked Matterhorn. But I can't can !? Not when Caleb is hellbent to destorying me, if he's willing frame you and get you kicked out Nexus High, then there no telling what he'd to you get to your best friend. But I won't give up trying to convince you who's right and who's wrong."
