The Urchin

Hearth's Warming Eve was supposed to be a time of celebration, but for Dodger and her sister it was a reminder of the day their parents died. Dodger at this moment was with her boss and Lilac had left to work the bustling streets. "Talon.....boss....you both have your word of honor not to touch my sister!" Dodger hissed in anger as she saw her smug boss smirking.

Talon spoke up now and commented how there was no honor amongst thieves. "Talon.....you and our boss know she's only fifteen! When this operation goes down in flames I'd make sure they know that you are nothing but filly foolers!"

"Dodger you've done your share of crimes as well."

"I'm a thief nothing more!" Dodger stormed from the office and went to the streets to clear her head at her favorite sweet shop.

When she arrived there, she saw her sister which saddened her more and she froze as she saw who her patron was! It was the captain of the Royal Guard, Shining Armor. She knew who he was married to, but seeing him be unfaithful was sickening. Then she saw her sister slide a folder over, was Lilac the snitch of the gang? Shining Armor looked at her and froze as did Lilac. The pair soon walked over to her.

"Lilac are you the snitch?"

"I am and Shining Armor isn't doing anything to me. He is trying to sway the royals to slam down on our boss and his gang of thugs."

"What Lilac says is true.....I need you to do me a favor however; I need you to get your boss Kraven's book of records from his office."

"Are you fucking insane!! If he catches me in there stealing his records he'd kill me! Hell he'd kill me after he forces me to have sex with him and every other dude in the gang. I may be the best thief, at least here in Canterlot."

"I'll protect your sister and I will do my best to get you a pardon for your thefts."

"I'll do the job......if I don't make it.....find her a good home. Furthermore, I want you to give these bits back to one called Rarity; I stole them a few months ago."

Dodger crept into the dimly lit office of Kraven and was just opening the safe when she heard Talon hiss behind her, "You're the fucking snitch! Once I'm done with you I'll turn you in!" Dodger stuffed the booked into her saddlebag and spun around as a claw barely missed her throat. Using her weight to push the gryphon to the floor she ran like a crazy mare for the nearest exit. "All creatures on deck! Dodger is the snitch!"

Dodger bailed through a window and ran! Angry voices swore and threatened to do horrible things to her when she was caught. She hit a dead end alley and she froze when a cyan pegasus dropped beside her, the messy rainbow mane was disheveled. "Hey kid give me the book and give me your forelegs I'll get you outta here!"

"Take the book and give your Daring Do one instead! I'll fight the bastards!" The pegasus took flight and leaving a rainbow trail. Dodger turned to face her fate.

Meanwhile

"Dodger is a thief not a fighter!"

"Look Lilac I'll send Rainbow Dash to get her." Shining Armor turned toward Zipp and Hitch, "You two head toward the docks that'll be where Dodger will hide out if she evades Dashie, Lilac says there's a burger joint there where she likes to hide during rough times. Pharynx you and Chrysalis scower the skies and see if you can find Dodger!"
