Chapter 1: The Memories Of A Prisoner

I've been in this world during centuries, perhaps thousands of years, before anyone else, but I'm still trapped in this cartoon world.

I still remember the cookies my mom made before I left home, trying to get to the school on time to not get other tardy for not being puntual.

I wish I just had let her hugged me one last time, before vanishing away forever. I was late that day, but... Man, I wished for more than a thousand of years of having one last kiss and hug from my mother.

Why did this happen to me? Why not other guy?

Why me?

I never said bye to them… Mom, sis, brother… I'm sorry.

"Soooo… what you are saying is that Discord was out of himself, for just listening to Twilight's story?" The earth pony asked, trying to put everything together, without even trying to think of the reasons behind Discord's actions.

"Hmm, this is weird."Twilight said meanwhile started to think about why Discord would have been so serious and even aggressive with everyone.

Celestia and Luna looked at each other, they did not know what was happening on Discord's mind, but they were sure that it might be related to what they knew about Discord. Even if it was not much, they might have some clue about what was happening.

After all, even if he was still not being a friend, he was a powerful and worthy ally that bestowed great power and knowledge, even if most of the creatures did not know it.

Trying to not let others in the room know about her uncomfortable feelings about having to release this information to others that are not in the royal class, Celestia interfered before anyone could have started talking again.

"I think I should show you something, Twilight."Celestia said with her normally gentle and calming voice meanwhile made a trunk appear through a spell that was quickly casted due to decades of practice.

The trunk, even when it was rotten and fragile due to the years and the incansable power of time. Everypony in the room stayed in their position, lifting one eyebrow for what was summoned into the room.

The only one who never stop smiling was Pinkie Pie, who was looking at the trunk with an interest that could be easily confused with her usual and totally normal happiness, but that this time was something more similar to the relief of knowing that they could know a little bit more about what is happening to Discord.

With a single movement of her hand, Celestia opened the rotten trunk, showing to the world objects that were not seen since one thousand years ago.

There were three things that Twilight recognized in less than a second; A cell phone, clothes, and… A journal? Wait, what?

Looking at Twilight's confusion, Celestia quickly started the new conversation."This is something no one knows, but… These are things that Discord recently said to us that belonged to him, we suspected it for a long time since we turned him into stone, but we agreed to give it back to him when we considere it properly, but… With this, we discovered that there is more on Discord's story and the records given in the books, because Luna and I kept it out of any register."She said, waiting for Twilight's reaction, which was almost in less than a single moment.

Everypony in the room saw how the factions of Twilight changed from confusion to surprise, from surprise to shock, and finally to anger.

"Bu-But why would you keep this objects out of the records?"Twilight said trying to keep her emotions to herself, after all, there should be a good reason behind Celestia's actions, right?

"Young Twilight Sparkle, we didst not keep it as a secret for no reason, we kept it as a secret from everypony because we never wot about what is inside the journal, e'en with the most powerful magic translator, we just were able to translate a part of the transcript" Luna said in her usually old and antique Equestrian language.

Twilight, without believing the words that came from Luna's mouth, she took for a moment the journal, and tried to read it. It just took her a moment before putting her look on Luna. She breathed before saying anything.

"But… I see it as regular Equus."It was said with a shy rumor, but that was strong enough to make the two regents to look at her on surprise for this revelation.

"But… How?" Celestia talked meanwhile took the journal from Twilight, she looked at the journal before putting her look back on Twilight."This is not a language know by anyone, it does not seem even similar to Equish!"

"Well, the humans on the other side of the mirror… They called Equish as English."The purple one said before having a new thought that was scratching her mind. She quickly took the journal to start reading, she started to open her eyes widely, meanwhile started to open her jaw, not believing what she was reading at that very moment.

"Di-Discord… Is he a human?" She said before started to quickly read everything in that journal, boot even when she was trying her best to read it as fast as she can, she was not even reaching a visible end…"He…"This was a shock for her, after all, how was this even possible?

"Discord is what!?"Everypony in the room exclaimed as they saw how Twilight's horsehair started to become more rebel.

"This are his… His memories."She said as she just looked at the journal with admiration, after all, she never thought that Discord could have this kind of stuff, after all, he was the God of Chaos, but…"This changes everything… This answers many questions like:Where is Discord from? Why is he the only Draconequus? But… This also makes a lot more."

Rarity, who was listening everything carefully, got into the conversation with just one question."Could you stop reading it?"She said with the feeling of anger getting deeper in her thoughts and soul."One thing is wanting to know what is happening to Discord, but what you are reading might be the closest thoughts of Discord! We should not be reading it without his permission!"She said as she looked at everypony in the room with disappointment. They might be desperate to know what happened to their friend, but that did not give them the right to read what is equivalent to Discord's heart.

Fluttershy, who was too shy to even stand up to say all the things that Rarity said, couldn't stop the little smile that was emerging in her face after seeing how Rarity defended Discord's privacy. Standing up, she went to Twilight."Twi-Twilight, can I have it…? I'll give it to Discord once he gets back, just…"She stopped at that moment when she saw some of the words written in the journal… Why was she…?"H-How?"She said as she felt a chill run down her spine.

"What happen sweetheart?"Rarity asked as she got closer to Fluttershy to know what was happening.

Fluttershy just looked at her before turning her head to the journal, and with a deep breath, she exclaimed. "W-Why can I read it?"
