Foaly in Equestria
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryNext ChapterFoaly stood up, and wiped the sweat from his brow. He then took a step back, and marveled at his finished invention in all of it's glory. It looked like something taken straight out of a human sci-fi movie. It was a large circular tube with many pipes and wires sticking out of it. It's appearance wasn't what was important though, what was what it was supposed to do.
"It's finally finished." said Foaly, "My teleporter." It took him 3 years to finish this project, but he had finally done it. And though he would never admit it, Artemis Fowl had helped fine tune some of his calculations. He looked up, and saw that it was time he went home to his wife Cabaline.
He looked back at his machine, and got an idea. "Well, I guess it's time to test you out." he said, fondly patting the machine. Normally he would never test one of his inventions out himself, but he was reluctant to let anyone else touch the machine he had worked on for so long.
He walked to the machine, and pressed a complex set of buttons. He had to make sure he got it just right. After all, he didn't want to be half underground when he appeared. When he was satisfied with his calculations he stepped into the machine. He cleared his throat nervously, and spoke, "Activate. Authorization code:Foaly1041."
"Activation code authorized. Activating." his own voice said back. There was a hiss as the door sealed shut in front of him. He clopped his hooves nervously. This was the moment of truth. As the seconds passed by the pressure grew greater, and greater, and Foaly could feel his neck hair stand on end.
He could feel the immense amount of energy needed for a teleportation building up. Soon jagged bolts of electricity started shooting around the edges of the machine. It was then that things went wrong. A light started to flash red, and a bolt of electricity broke off, and rammed straight into Foaly's chest.
A huge wave of pain engulfed him, and the last thin he heard before passing out was the alarm siren.

Fluttershy was inside of her cottage feeding her animals. She was just pouring the chipmunks' food when there was a loud boom. She jumped up in fright, sending the food flying everywhere. She stood back up, and looked at the mess. She let out a sigh, and muttered, "Oh Fluttershy, you're such a klutz."
She sighed, and used her wing to sweep it into a pile, and then into the bowl. With that done she decided to see what had made the noise. She cautiously opened the door, and peeked out. What she saw made her inhale sharply. Not too far away was a strange quadrupedal creature with a weird upper body like that of a minotaur.
It was lying next to a pile of metal. She quickly ran over to it, and gasped at the state it was in. Upon closer inspection she could tell it was a he. He had many cuts, and bruises. He also had a burn mark on his chest, but that wasn't the worst of it. The worst was a large shard of metal sticking out of his left hind leg.
"Oh my! I need to get him inside right away!" she said. She stood next to him, and lifted him. To her surprise, even though he was only a foot taller than her, he weighed almost twice as much as her. That didn't stop her though. With a burst of adrenaline she walked back towards her home, the unconscious centaur on her back, not knowing what was in store for her.
