Hitch and Sunny were both shocked and perplexed to hear that their son Chase has lost his magical powers all of the sudden, they looked to him and saw that he was in his original earth pony form.

"Huh? That's weird? I can't fly." Pipp said as she flapped her wings, only to she that he has lost her flying abilities.

Her sister Zipp tried to see whether she could fly as well so, she spread her wings and jumped up in the air, flapping them I'm the process to see whether or not she could fly or not. But, when she jumped into the air, she immediately fell face first onto the stage.

"Oooof!" Grunted Zipp which made the ponies cringe at her pain.

"Sunny, I cannot do any magical spells." Izzy told Suny as she walked out of the stage.

"This is odd, my earth pony magic is not responding to me as well." Hitch said as he stomped his right hoof on the stage only to receive a stomping noise.

"Is everything okay?" Luigi asked the mane five as he and Polterpup came out from the backstage.

"Wait, wait, wait." Sunny said as she looked at the audiences. "Everypony, do you have any magic?" She asked them.

The earth ponies, pegasus and unicorns all spread out to have some room to conduct their magical spells to see whether they're still functioning or not. The earth ponies stomped on the floor, the pegasus attempted to fly and the unicorns attempted to charge their horns but, they got the same result as Chase and the mane five, no response. Their magic was gone.

"What the hay?! Where did all of our magic go?" Dahlia asked with a shocked expression.

"I don't know, the just disappeared for no reason!" Posey exclaimed.

At this rate, the pony citizens all began to panic in a fearful and anxious way due to the sudden disappearance of their magical abilities just like the way it was when they were separated.

"Chase, is everything okay?" Luigi asked with a raise of his right eyebrow.

"No Luigi, our magic suddenly disappeared again for no reasonable explanations at all!" Chase exclaimed as he tried to transform into his alicorn form, but, to no avail.

"Everypony, let's head back to the Crystal Brighthouse!" Hitch told them.

The mares, and earth pony colt Chase Trailblazer all nodded before jumping off of the stage and making their way back to the Crystal Brighthouse to see what was going on with the three unity crystals. Luigi and Polterpup both decided to find out what was happening to the ponies as well so, he and Polterpup both jumped off of the stage and ran after them.

Once, the mane five, Chase, Luigi and Polterpup all made it back to the Crystal Brighthouse, the mane five and Chase found something odd with their house, that is, the rainbow emitting from the top has disappeared for no reason as well. So, the ponies, Luigi and Polterpup all entered the Crystal Bright and took an elevator located inside of the mane five's bedroom up to the watch area of the Crystal Brighthouse. When they made it up there, the mane five and Chase noticed that the three unity crystals were gone!

"Oh no! Somepony stole the unity Crystals from our house!" Chase said with a shocked expression.

"That must explain the reason why we have no magic!" Izzy said with her hooves on her head in shock.

"Who would do such a horrendous action?" Pipp exclaimed in shock.

"Grr, whoever did this will receive a beating!" Zipp exclaimed punching her hooves together.

Both Luigi and Polterpup were shocked to hear that the reason why the ponies magic has disappeared was due to someone stealing their three crystals which was the power source of their magical abilities. However, a brief second later, Polterpup's eyes widened again as if he has sniffed out something in the far distance.

"Woof! Woof!" Barked Polterpup.

"What is it boy?"

Polterpup did not reply to Luigi and jumped off of the Crystal Brighthouse, landing on the ground in the process. After that, he began to follow the scent that he has caught with the use of his nose.

"Guess we better go after him." Hitch said.

The ponies and Luigi nodded before going down the elevator.

Zephyr Heights

In the luxurious city of Zephyr Heights, the ghost King King Boo was seen hovering over the luxurious city that has already been sieged by his ghost minions judging by the sight of them being apprehended by Goobs, slammers, and Oozers. The sight made King Boo let out a satisfied smirk, his plan was going smoothly and precisely.

"Mwuahahahaha, at this rate I'll have an amazing collection of ponies on my wall as well." King Boo told himself with an execrable chuckle. "Hopefully, Hellen Gravely has already done her role that I specifically ordered her to do." He said.

Then, the ghost King wasted no time and began to hover his way to the castle of Zephyr Heights where he will meet up with the hotel owner Hellen Gravely, and five of the hotel suite owners.

In the throne room of Zephyr Height, Queen Haven and her guards were all seen held captive in these magical cages summoned by the three magician sisters Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny with the use of their wands. It also seems like three other ghosts came to the throne room as well, one was wearing a musician clothing, the other was a gardener, and the last one was wearing fine clothing.

"You barbarians! Let us out this instance!" Queen Haven demanded.

"What? I can't hear you?" Ginny mocked.

"You won't win!" A mare guard exclaimed.

Then, the throne room doors were pushed open which made the ponies and the ghosts to look at who was entering. When they did, the ponies saw a giant white ball, with intimidating purple eyes in a black area of his face, a crown with a purple crystal in it, two small white hands, four sharp teeth, and a purple tongue. To the ghosts, this was their King.

"King Boo, it's relieving to see that you've returned safely." Hellen Gravely said as she bowed her head along with the other suite owners.

"Yeah yeah whatever, that stealth mission was no problem for me at all." King Boo told them as they all rised, he looked behind them to see more ponies being held captive in these magical cages. The portraits where Mario, Peach, E.Gadd and Toad as well as the one where Alphabittle were trapped in were seen emplaced on the thrones. "I see that you've all done what you were told." He said with a satisfying smirk.

Queen Haven looked to what the giant white ball was levitating and saw that it was holding the three unity crystals, the sight has made her eyes widen in horror along with the guards.

"May I ask what you're holding there with the use of your crystal King Boo?" Ginny asked with a perplexed expression.

"Oh these? These are what as known as the power source of all of the ponies magic." King Boo told them which made them 'ah' in response.

"No! You cannot do this! Give us back out crystals this instance! They're important to us!"

"In your dreams, I'll never listen to you you moronic guard!" King Boo exclaimed glaring at the pony guard. Then, he looked back at the ghosts. "Rally all of the minions here along with the ponies, therefore, I can trap them all in portraits and hang them all up on my wall." He ordered.

Queen Haven and the guards eyes all widened in shock from hearing this, they're about to be stuck in picture frames, now, there is nopony here to rescue them from this ghost King.

In the streets of Zephyr Heights, the mane five, Chase, Luigi and Polterpup have made it to the luxurious city after following Polterpup for one hour through the forest, grassy areas, and the foggy canyons. By the time they all made it, the ponies have seen a perplexing sight, that is, the ponies have all vanished without a trace which is perplexing.

"Pretty quiet around here." Luigi said scrutinising the luxurious city.

"Where is everypony?" Chase asked raising his right eyebrow. "Why is it so empty in Zephyr Heights when there should be many pony residents around this luxurious city?" He asked again in a perplexed tone.

"It shouldn't be." Zipp said. "Let's go check out the castle." She informed them.

The other ponies nodded and ran to the elevator that goes straight up to the castle. Luigi was going to follow along but suddenly, Polterpup sniffed something very sweet near him and went after it.

"Polterpup wait!" Luigi said as he chased after his friend.

Once the mane five and Chase all entered the elevator, they entered it and Zipp pressed on a button that takes the elevator up to the castle walkway floor. When they did it, the elevator doors closed and began to ascend to the castle walkway area.

"What could've caused all the ponies to disappear." Pipp asked in a perplexed tone as she scrutinized the empty city.

"I don't know little sister, but, hopefully we can receive answers when we see mom in the castle." Zipp told her little sister.

Once the elevator made it to the castle walkway floor, the doors slid open and the mane five and Chase all saw the three unity crystals hovering right in front of them.

"Huh? The unity Crystals are hovering in the air on their own over there." Chase said pointing at the three crystals with a perplexed expression.

"What trick us this?"

"It doesn't matter, let's go get them and restore our magical powers!" Izzy said with an exhilarated expression as she ran to the three crystals.

"Izzy wait!" Zipp said as she, Chase and her friends ran to catch up with her.

Once Izzy made it to the unity Crystals, she stopped in front of them with a pleasant smile. She then began to reach out for them right her right hoof.

"Here you three are."

But suddenly, before Izzy could touch them, the unity Crystals suddenly disappeared and came out a giant white ball with a terrifying face.

"Ahhhhhh! It's a giant white snowball with an intimidating face!" Izzy yelled as she began to back up.

The mane five and Chase all helped Izzy back up on her hooves before looking up to see what looks to be like a giant white ball, with light purple eyes in a black area, a crown with a purple crystal in it, two small white hands, four sharp teeth and a purple tongue.

"Wh-who the hay are you?" Pipp asked in a trembling tone.

"Muwahahaha, well look what we have here, we have six little ponies cowering in fear in front of me." King Boo insulted which made the ponies grit their teeth in anger. "Anyways, where are my manners? My name is King Boo, I'm a ghost King from the mushroom Kingdom." He introduced himself with an evil smirk.

The mane five and Chase's eyes all widened in surprise when they heard the name, this King Boo is the enemy of Luigi from what he had told them that he is.

"You're Luigi's arch nemesis!" Chase exclaimed which made King Boo laugh in an evil way.

"Spot on little colt! I am the arch nemesis of that aggravating plumber! He must've shared our history with you ever since we met one another in the mansion years ago." He said with an angry expression.

"What do you want?" Sunny asked.

"I'm glad that you asked little mare, I'm here to trap you all in portraits and hang you all up on my wall when I conquer this land!" King Boo yelled which made the ponies eyes widen in horror. "And there is nothing you can do that can stop me." He said.

Then, the Crystal in King Boo's crown began to grow and electricity shot through the opened doors that lead to the throne room of Zephyr Heights castle. A brief second later, King Boo brought over a terrified Queen Haven before summoning a spiralling picture frame.

"Mom!"

"Let our mother go this instance you monster!"

"Fat chance little mares!" King Boo shouted.

"My daughters, please, you've gotta run as fast as you-"

Unfortunately, Queen Haven was unable to finish her sentence as she got shoved into the picture frame by King Boo which scandalised the mane five and Chase.

"Hahaha! Take that, now it's all your turn!" King Boo said as he began to bring the spiralling portrait down to the ponies.

The mane five and Chase all stood on their grounds glaring at King Boo with a defiant expression, preparing to battle him but, they have to get out of range of the spiralling picture frame first. Then, the earth pony colt Chase Trailblazer suddenly got tackled to the right by Polterpup just in time before the portrait was brought down on the mane five. A brief second later, Polterpup licked his face before getting off of him.

"Chase! Are you okay?" Luigi asked as he ran up to him and helped him up.

"Yeah I am, thank you for saving me Luigi." He told him in a grateful tone.

Then, King Boo lifted up the portrait and looked at it where the mane five were all trapped in with terrified expressions on them. However, he noticed that someone was unaccounted for.

"Hmm? The heck?! There should be six of them! Who's missing?!" King Boo asked. The ghost King then looked down to see his enemy Luigi and Polterpup as well as Chase standing there. "What the?! Luigi?! What are you doing over here?! How did you find me?!" King Boo exclaimed, demanding an answer.

Before Luigi could reply to King Boo's inquiry, the ghost King cut him off when he let out angry noises.

"Grr, it doesn't matter, I'm gonna trap you all in a separate portrait then!"

Chase tried to rescue his parents and aunts but, was pulled back by Luigi.

"Come on Chase, we have to retreat!" Luigi exclaimed.

"No! I gotta save my family!" Chase exclaimed as he tried to reach for the portrait where his parents and aunts were trapped in.

"We'll save them later, right now we have to go!" He repeated as he lifted Chase up and carried him on his right shoulder before escaping into the elevator with Polterpup.

"Put me down! Put me down!"

By the time Luigi, Chase and Polterpup entered the elevator, the plumber pressed the 'G' button and the elevator doors closed instantly and began to take the three down to the ground floor.

"Grr, this isn't over." King Boo growled.
