In the throne room of Zephyr Height, King Boo was seen hovering to the throne room thrones where the portraits of the mane five, Mario, Peach, E.Gadd and the Toads, Queen Haven and Alphabittle as well as many other ponies were seen emplaced on. But, he was upset and disillusioned at himself that he still couldn't capture Luigi and Chase Trailblazer, one things for sure is that he knows that they will come back and free them from their trapped state in the portrait. So, he looked at Hellen Gravely, Nikki, Ginny, Lindsey, Amadeus Wfgeist and Dr. Potter.

"Listen up all of you." King Boo called them, and the ghosts all turned to look at them. "I need you all to grab some of these portraits and hide them in separate buildings along with other ghosts because from what I know, that plumber Luigi, his pet, and that little nerdy pony colt brat are gonna come and save them all." He told them.

"You got it your highness. We'll hide these in separate buildings where they cannot find them." Hellen Gravely said with a bow.

"Oh no, I want them to find them." King Boo corrected her which made the ghosts surprise. "That way, you can create a distraction and subdue them when they are weak!" He stated.

The ghosts all let out wicked smirks from hearing this brilliant plan.

"Roger that King Boo, me and my sisters will take Queen Haven and Alphabittle's portraits." Nikki told him.

"I'll take the pegasus ones." Amadeus Wolfgeist told them.

"Them that leaves me with the unicorn ones." Dr. Potter told them.

"Splendid." King Boo said with a terrifying smirk. "Before that, let me give you these three." He told them as he charged his Crystal and summoned three keys which perplexed the ghosts.

"What do you want us to do with these keys King Boo?" Dr. Potter asked with a bewildered expression.

"Oh its simple, I'm gonna reinforce the palace doors by summoning three locks on them, thus meaning that the only way into the castle throne room is with the keys that you're holding." King Boo replied as he levitated the keys to them which the ghosts all caught with their hands. "Therefore, they will all have no choice by to hunt the three of you down to claim these salient objects if they wish to open the castle throne room doors. Thus meaning that you can catch both Luigi and Chase Trailblazer with the use of your abilities and bring them to me." He told them with a vile smirk.

The ghosts all let out wicked laughs at hearing King Boo's plan, this will be like catching fish from the pond.

In the lobby area of an apartment in Zephyr Heights, Luigi, Polterpup and Chase were all seen thinking of a plan to defeat King Boo, his minions and save everypony, including Luigi's family. At this point, the earth pony colt Chase has had enough.

"Grr, I've had it! I shouldn't be wasting any more time! I'll take on that flagitious ghost King by myself!" Chase shouted with determination as he began to walk to the apartment lobby destroyed front doors.

When Luigi heard this, his eyes widened and he immediately ran forward and stood in front of him with his arms stretched out, stopping Chase in his tracks.

"Whoa Whoa Whoa okay little buddy, I know that you desperately want to rescue everypony under the hands of King Boo but, you cannot just physically fight him with hooves by punching and kicking him." Luigi told him logically. "He's a ghost you know? Meaning that he is not susceptible to physical attack probably, and can teleporting out of your range of attacks. He's not joking around this time." He finished.

Chase took a while to comprehend what Luigi had said, although he is desperate to rescue his family and the other trapped ponies who are now in peril under the hands of King Boo and his ghost minions, but, Luigi is correct when he said that he cannot have a physical brawl against him, otherwise, he would be captured too. Letting out a defeated sigh, he back up a little.

"Y-you're right Luigi, I cannot spare with him physically with punches and kicks." Chase said.

"Correct."

"Well, what other ideas do you have in mind?" He asked. "My magic is gone meaning that I cannot transform into my alicorn form, produce earth pony magic, fly with my alicorn wings, conduct telekinesis with my magic from my horn etc. I'm simply defenceless, while you have a practical vacuum cleaner on you." He told him.

Luigi then began to think of a perfect and beneficial solution to this problem at hand, Chase was right on him being armed with something to protect himself with, while he does not have anything practical on him. Luckily, the plumber remembers the professor giving him something.

"Oh right, this!" Luigi exclaimed as he pulled out a red briefcase out of nowhere from his black pockets which made Chase nonplussed.

"Whoa! Where did you get that briefcase from?"

"The professor." Luigi replied simply before placing the briefcase on the floor and unclipped the locks. Then, he flipped it open, pulling out a smaller version of the poltergust G-00 and a glass container with green slime. The sight made Chase shocked because, the vacuum matches his size clearly. "Chase, this is a smaller version of the Poltergust G-00 invented by professor E.Gadd that is specifically reserved for my Polterpup over there in case he decides to help me. But, since this is a daunting crisis, I'll let you use it." He told him with a smile.

Chase hesitated a little before nodding in acknowledgement. After that, he grabbed the vacuum from Luigi before wearing it on his back in the process.

"Wow, I look awesome with this in me." Chase commented as he looked at the poltergust G-00 on his back with a smile. "Are you gonna edify me on how to use this contraption Luigi?" He asked.

"Of course I will." Luigi replied with a nod. Then, he looked at Polterpup. "Buddy, can you stand here please?" He asked him.

Polterpup nodded before walking up to Luigi's location and stood approximately fifteen centimetres from Chase.

"Alright Chase, this is how you use the Poltergust G-00, try pressing the button on the handle there." Luigi instructed him pointing at the red button.

Chase nodded before pressing the button on his poltergust G-00, then, the vacuum began to suck the polterpup to him which the dog absolutely enjoyed judging by the way he is sticking his tongue out. A brief second later, Chase has vacuumed Polterpup near him before stopping

"Whoa, that was the suction feature I assume."

"Correct, now try pressing that button." Luigi told him.

Chase nodded before pressing the button that Luigi was pointing at. Then, the poltergust G-00 began blowing air out of it, pushing the Polterpup backwards. Ten seconds later, Polterpup was sitting back on where he started from and Chase stopped what he was doing.

"Whoa, what feature was that?"

"That was the blow feature, it is very practical when you get something stuck in it and burst it out, thus turning the object into a weapon." Luigi stated.

"Wow, that sounds very awesome." Chase said with an astonished expression.

"Indeed. Puppy, come back here." Luigi told him.

Polterpup nodded before going to Chase again and stood up on two legs, then he gave him an up gesture which got him perplexed.

"Try aiming the vacuum downwards this time and pressing this button here."

Chase nodded and aimed his vacuum downwards, after that, he pressed the third button and suddenly, the Poltergust-G-00 let out a powerful burst of air that sent Chase and Polterpup a couple of feet in the air before landing on the floor again.

"Whoa! That was awesome! What kind of impressive feature was that Luigi?" He asked.

"That is what is called the burst feature, it let's out a powerful air that gives you a jump boost as well aspushing enemies away from you." Luigi delineated.

Chase was beyond flabbergasted by all of these unique features that are in this Poltergust-G-00 technology, no wonder why Luigi can easily capture those ghosts.

"Wow, this poltergust G-00 is amazing."

"Indeed it is Chase, anyways, that's all I can teach you for now, why don't we head to the castle and defeat King Boo?" He asked.

"You got it Luigi." Chase said with a determined expression.

Luigi nodded and he, Chase and Polterpup went to the front entrance of the apartment block.

After walking through town for five minutes, both Luigi, Polterpup and Chase have made it to the front doors of the castle throne rooms of Zephyr Heights after taking the elevator up. When they got to it, they looked in front of it and noticed something unusual with the doors, that is, there are three locks emplaced on them.

"That's odd, these locks weren't installed here before on the doors. In fact, Queen Haven doesn't have any locks on her throne room doors." Chase said with a perplexed expression.

Luigi had a hunch, this was no doubt done by King Boo.

"I think I know who did this, it was King Boo." Luigi told Chase. "He must've emplaced these locks to hamper our efforts in saving everybody including your family Chase." He finished.

"Grr, the nerves of that nefarious ghost King." Chase said bitterly. "Then, that must mean that his ghost minions must have the keys in their possessions and are concealing it somewhere in the city to prevent us from having access into the castle throne rooms, how despicable of them." He finished.

"Indeed Chase, this means that we must go back to the city and find the keys!"

"Let's go Luigi!" Chase exclaimed.
