Spike and Smolder were keeping an eye on things over in their areas while the main six were tracking down Applejack.

But as for the Cutie Mark Crusaders...

"Wow, this place is actually neat." Button Mash said.

"No foolin. Awesome treehouse." Rumble said.

"I-it was Apple Bloom who did most of the work admittedly. I'm just the one who suggested we make it the HQ." Scootaloo said, blushing.

"A treehouse as an HQ is still awesome." Rumble said. Scootaloo's blush deepened.

"So, why are they here with White Flame again?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" White Flame asked. "They don't have their cutie marks yet either. I've been helping them out where I can but figured that with the things you girls get into to get your cutie marks, they wouldn't mind tagging along every now and again." He added.

"And White Flame just told us all kinds of activities you girls do." Button Mash said.

"Which are defiantly awesome and not at all what I was expected. Heck, it got ME interested." Rumble said. That confused Scootaloo.

"Rumble, thought you weren't into getting a cutie mark?" Scootlaoo asked.

"That used to be me yeah. But then White Flame opened my eyes." Rumble said. "White Flame is very interested in the smithing world, hence his cutie mark being that of a flame, but he doesn't want to limit himself to that and is finding out if he can have some on the side hobby. Which got me thinking when I saw him actually trying out Ziplining: Even if I get a cutie mark in something like Ziplining, what's to stop me from finding something else I'm interested in as like a hobby? And it could be ANYTHING." Rumble said.

"Wow White Flame, that was lucky of ya to do that for Rumble." Apple Bloom said.

"Heh...I guess I'm just lucky like that." White Flame said.

"But what about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon when they tried to hamper you? Was that really just a bunch of luck?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"What can I say? I'm just THAT lucky." White Flame said.

"Ah'm surprised you don't have a four-leaf clover as a cutie mark in that case." Apple Bloom said.

"I'm sure it's just a coincidence Apple Bloom. Besides, who are we to complain about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon getting EXTREME compupance and humiliation for the bullying they do around school to foals like us." Scootaloo said.

"I can agree that they do do a lot of bullying. Once, Diamond Tiara stole my Joyboy before she got caught by Miss Cheerilee. In her defense, I had accidently left my locker unlocked when she stole it. Still had to do without my Joyboy for a whole day because of it. After all, your technically NOT supposed to have Video Games in class, but because it was originally in my locker and not out in class, you could say I was allowed to get it back after just one day." Button Mash said. "Bet she was planning something." He added.

"Huh, your right. That DID happen, didn't it?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Wait a second...YOU OWN A JOYBOY?!" She exclaimed.

"Yes. I also own a PES and a Super PES. Hoping for the new Pony 64 this Heart's warming." Button Mash said.

"...I want to come over to your house like, YESTERDAY." Sweetie Belle said. "I've been wanting to play some of those PES and Super PES games." She added.

"Oh boy...Sweetie Belle's a gamer girl..." White Flame said. "Looks like you're the lucky one now Button." He added.

"Huh? Wait...Sweetie Belle's a..." Button Mash suddenly fainted.

"Lol, looks like he's crashed. I better hit L, R, A, Start!" Sweetie Belle said. Button Mash then stuck his hooves up into the air as Sweetie Belle went over to him.

"...What the buck did he do that for?" Scootaloo asked.

"Pretty sure Sweetie Belle just showed Button Mash just how much of a gamer the unicorn really is. No idea what the L, R, A, Start thing is about." Rumble said.

"It's a gamer inside joke." Sweetie Belle said.

"...Sweetie Belle really is a gamer girl...oh my gosh...oh my gosh..." Button Mash said, practically panicking.

"Slow down Button." White Flame said, stopping the gamer boy. "Chill. It's way too soon for romance, though I'm sure you'd both like to take your time with this development anyways. Trust me on this: You both know it's way too soon." He said.

"Your right White Flame." After a deep breath Button Mash calmed down. "...I'm okay now. I'm okay." Button Mash said. Still, the girl I have a crush on is a gamer girl. Didn't think I'd get that lucky. The gamer colt thought to himself.

"Now, I was thinking, that before we do anything cutie mark releated, it might be a good time for Scootaloo and Rumble to have a small session." White Flame said.

"I getcha. Your thinking I've got what it takes. Heh...alright." Rumble said.

"Huh? What's White Flame Talking about?" Scootaloo asked. Rumble smiled.

"Stop." Rumble said as he flew down to a struggling Scootaloo. "I see what you're doing wrong already." He said.

"Huh?" Scootaloo asked. "I know I've got underdeveloped wings and all, but you're telling me I'm doing something wrong?" She asked.

"It's not the wing size that matters, Scootaloo. It's how you use them. And I know I think or two about overcoming underdeveloped wings." Rumble said.

"Yeah. Believe it or not, Rumble has underdeveloped wings too, yet you've seen how he is able to fly." White Flame said.

"Wh-what?!" Scootaloo was shocked to hear this.

"It's true. Now, listen closely..." Rumble said.

Later on, after the main six got back from hunting down Applejack, Rainbow Dash was looking for Scootaloo when suddenly something orange and purple flew right into her. It was Scootaloo.

"Scootaloo? Since when could you fly?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Rumble helped me. He helped me a lot. Still had a bit of fun crusading for Cutie Marks with my friends, but the highlight HAS to be fact that Rumble helped me to fly. He's got underdeveloped wings like I do, so he was able to help me as he was able to figure it out. So yeah, I can fly now! I can SO fly now!" Scootaloo explained.

"Well I'm proud of you squirt. And I'll totally have to give thanks to Rumble the next time I see him. Brother of Thunderlane or not, he did a good thing for you Squirt." Rainbow Dash said.

"His brother is Thunderlane? Isn't Thunderlane a member of the Wonderbolts?" Scootaloo said. Would explain how Rumble was able to overcome his problem. She thought to herself.

"Yeah. I guess Thunderlane is the bad apple of the two. Hopefully anyways. I don't want to see you get hurt the way I was Scoots." Rainbow Dash said.

"What do you mean?" Scootaloo said.

"Thunderlane once cheated on me. Gave him a stern talking to about it later, though he's never really caused problems for me since. So, let's hope Rumble is learning from his brother's mistake." Rainbow Dash said.

"Huh...that's cool little bro. Can't believe you helped that filly." Thunderlane said.

"Yeah. And Scootaloo is super awesome and stuff. I'm really hoping I don't screw things up with her, you know?" Rumble asked.

"Oh that's easy: Just treat her right and don't you dare look at any alternatives. Trust me bro, you don't want to end up screwing up the only good thing in your life." Thunderlane said. "So, I heard you mentioned Scootaloo has a new adoptive mother. Do you know who it is yet?" He asked.

"Oh. Sorry bro. But I don't want to ask Scootaloo that. I'm sure I'll meet her adoptive mother eventually." Rumble said.

"Heh...playing it cool are we? That's perfectly okay by me. You just do whatever you can to not screw this up." Thunderlane said and then left for his room.

"Don't worry bro. I'm not going to. And trust me, I know how bad you screwed up. I'm not going to make that mistake. At all." Rumble said.

While looking up pictures for Rumble, I couldn't help but notice his wings were nearly identical to Scootaloo's wings. Why had no one pointed this out yet? Guess it's up to me then.
