Applejack was wondering around the house when she discovered that the cider cellar door was open. Curious, Applejack went down it, and found quite the area separate from all the cider.

"What is this?" Applejack asked, noting all the things in the room. They seemed to be some photographs.

One Photograph was noted as "First Friends" which depicted the cult White Flame with both Button Mash and Rumble.

Another photograph had White Flame playing tag with the fillies, with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon circled face down in some mud. "Coincidence?" was labled on it.

The various things went on and on.

"Wh-what in Equestria..." Applejack heard some pony coming and hid, only to then see Scootaloo flying. Curiouser and curiouser... The farmer pony thought to herself as Scootaloo began reorganizing the small area. There was even a new photo, one labeled "Lucky Button?" which was added to a dart board with the others.

"There's got to be some kind of connection." Scootaloo said. The photo had Sweetie Belle over an unconscious Button Mash with a Selfie of Scootaloo and Rumble posted next to it noting "Lucky me?". "This whole mystery has me curious." Scootaloo said.

Applejack chose to not say anything. "First, Sweetie Belle ends up being a total Gamer Girl which makes her perfect for Button Mash, and that's not even mentioning the fact that Rumble has underdeveloped wings just like me, making him perfect for me." Scootaloo said. "And that's not even mentioning the fact that before meeting us, White Flame was perfectly fine being friends with the two of them. So why? Why introduce us properly now and bring all this information to light?" She asked. "There's got to be some kind of connection. Is White Flame really just that lucky and things played out that way? Or did he use some very slight of hand trick to make us THINK he's just lucky when he's got some kind of magic that makes him appear extremely lucky?" The orange Pegasus asked. "Either way, I'm going to get to the bottom of this mystery. Also, you can come out of hiding Applejack. I know your here." She finished.

"How'd you know I was here?" Applejack asked as she came out of hiding.

"Mom's been teaching me how to read my surroundings as I fly. And I had noticed you as you tried to hide thanks to that." Scootaloo said.

"For once...looks like RD's done something right if you were able to notice that." Applejack said.

"Exactly. And Rainbow Dash has proven to be the best mom. She could totally send me to flight camp now but chooses instead to let me study here in Ponyville while also teaching me flying basics at the same time. Plus, I got Rumble helping out too." Scootaloo said.

"That's...a lot of help." Applejack said. "What is this anyways? Why are you doing it in my cellar?" She asked.

"Because Rainbow Dash knows I'd make a mess out of my room, plus she knows that so long as I have my own area away from the cider, I'll be fine." Scootaloo said. "Actually, might need a little help. It's about White Flame. When he first showed up at school and started hanging with Apple Bloom, I had noticed he was somewhat of a lucky colt. Plus your sister is TOTALLY into him, even if she doesn't show it." She added.

"...Like you are with Rumble?" Applejack asked.

"Tch...that's a low blow and you know it. Besides, White Flame is more important because your sister is into him." Scootaloo said.

"Alright, I'll give you that." Applejack said. Having hung with Rainbow Dash, the farm pony knows how stubborn Pegasi can be, and considering the speedster Pegasus adopted Scootaloo, that stubbornness would exist with Scootaloo more so. "So, why are you gathering all this stuff?" Applejack asked.

"To see if I can spot something about White Flame. I mean, you were listening to my spill weren't you?" Scootaloo asked. Applejack nodded. "Good. Then you are mostly caught up. See, before being friends with me, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom, White Flame was friends with Button Mash and Rumble. Now Button Mash already had a crush on Sweetie Belle and her gamer girl attributes? Just made the crush THAT much stronger. And that's to say nothing about my crush on Rumble now." Scootaloo said.

"I think I see where you're going with this. It's all just a coincidence." Applejack said.

"Is it really a coincidence that the two colts who me and Sweetie Belle could possibly romance with in the future are perfect for us, and it's White Flame who made us become aware of it? He introduced us to his two original friends while you were gone after all. And I bet your sister is all over him what with him helping out her new friends." Scootaloo said.

Applejack had no argument there. "Okay, that IS a bit strange." Applejack said.

"Exactly. Look, for Apple Bloom's sake, I need some help with this, and your the only pony I can trust with this. After all, I'll need some pony like you on my side. Mom's busy with both her weather duties and training to become a stunt flier. Rarity's probably just going to do nothing but hard SHIP her sister with Button Mash. So of the three we Cutie Mark Crusader fillies are related to, the best one to find the truth would be you. And I'm not asking much. I'm sure White Flame will be around the farm sooner or later." Scootaloo said.

"For my sister Scootaloo, ah'm willing to help out." Applejack said. "Where and when I can that is." She added.

"Good. Just be careful." Scootaloo said. "White Flame's got his ways. I just know he does." She added.
