Spike and Smolder were on a hill having a picnic together. "This is quite nice. You sure you don't want me to take you someplace like a resturant?" Spike asked.

"I'm quite sure of that Spike. But...it is very nice you wish to offer that." Smolder admitted. "Honestly...this whole dating thing is new to me." She added.

"Never been on a date before now, huh?" Spike asked.

"Not really. Sure I've been offered to go on dates with other dragons but, before now I've always turned them down. But that's because they just weren't the kind of dragon I was looking for. I was looking for a dragon that was more chivalrous almost knight like in nature. No dragon ever exhibitted that before you, Spike." Smolder said.

"Well, you've met Shining Armor. He had a huge impact on my life. I kind of look up to him as an example." Spike said.

"Well, he's definitely a good influence on you; that much I won't deny." Smolder said. "Of course, your ability to suddenly go Spikezilla when you want to protect something also comes in handy." She added.

"To be honest, I'm not even sure where that comes from." Spike said. "It might be something to do with how much magic Twilight pumped into me when she hatched me for her exam to enter Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns." He added.

Smolder suddenly did a spit take; making sure to aim away from spike. "THE PRINCESS DID WHAT?!" The orange dragoness exclaimed.

"At once point Twilight asked the princess about it. From what I was told, the egg was never supposed to be hatched. It was a test to see how a unicorn would handle failure." Spike said. "...But of course, you know what happened instead." He added.

"Rainbow Dash managed to perform the Sonic Rainboom and it caused Twilight's magic to spark out of control until Princess Celestia herself got things under control." Smolder said. "In the process, you were not just hatched, but turned into a giant dragon." She added.

"Yeah. Princess Celestia returned me to my proper baby dragon size from there, though it quickly became obvious that Twilight had a lot more magic in her then any other unicorn ever has had before or will ever again." Spike said. "That's what Princess Celestia told me. Princess Celestia helped Twilight control her massive amounts of magic so now there's no danger of Twilight causing mass destruction with it." Spike said.

"Your family is full of wonder." Smolder said.

"I could say the same about yours. After all, you have seamstress as one sister and a talent finding one as another." Spike said.

Speaking of Sweetie Belle, she was over at Button Mash's house (Rarity had given Sweetie Belle permission to be there, and Button Mash's mom also allowed the sleepover) and she was playing games with Button Mash. Funnily enough, Button Mash was only in a slight edge over Sweetie Belle.

"Dang...your good Sweetie Belle." Button Mash said.

"I've always wanted to play the Pony systems. My mother got me the other systems though." Sweetie Belle said.

"You're referring to the Pegasus Genesis and Pegasus Master System systems, right?" Button Mash said. "The Pegasus systems have a rivalry with the Pony Systems." He added.

"Oh, I know, I know. But if you ask me, the games for the Pony Systems are WAY cooler." Sweetie Belle said. "Not to mention I can actually play them without dying a billion times, and whenever I do lose a life, it's actually of my own fault not the game's fault1." She added.

"I've heard the games for the Pegasus systems were harder than the Pony ones." Button Mash said.

"Oh yeah, they are much harder than these are that's for sure. A lot of the times when I got hit in the Pegasus System games, it was from something I could not see coming until it was literally right on top of me." Sweetie Belle said.

"Well, if you ever want to come over and play more, I'd be super willing to do so." Button Mash said.

"Aw...that's super nice of you Button." Sweetie Belle said before kissing him on the cheek. Button Mash proceeded to essentially blue screen when he fainted, a dopy smile on his face.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Rumble was relaxing on a cloud with Scootaloo. "I really enjoy being able to fly up to one of these clouds without needing my mom to fly me up here with her." Scootaloo said.

"Well, I know that being able to fly with you Scootaloo was just as awesome as I believed it to be." Rumble said. "And...if you see your mom, could you tell her that I apologize on behalf of my brother." He added.

"Why? You don't need to apologize for Thunderlane's cheating." Scootaloo said.

"Maybe I don't, but...it just doesn't feel right if Rainbow Dash doesn't know that I'm nothing like my brother; that I'm not going to use you like he did her." Rumble said. "As far as I'm concerned, until the day we both decide that we aren't going to work out at all, you're the only one I'm keeping in my sights, Scootaloo." He said.

Scootaloo blushed. "That's...wow..." The orange pegasus started. "I really don't know what I could say to that without coming off as dismissive or insulting..." Scootaloo said.

"Then how about instead of saying anything, you let your actions do the talking for you? That's the way I always do things when I can't find the words without sounding like a total jerk." Rumble said.

Scootaloo smiled. "You know what Rumble? I think I will." Scootaloo said before giving Rumble a kiss on the cheek.

"...Oh...my...gosh..." Rumble said. "OH. MY. GOSH! SCOOTALOO JUST KISSED ME! YES! ALL MY YES!" He exclaimed.

"Wow, aren't you excited?" Scootaloo said cheekily.

"Heh...sorry. I couldn't contain myself." Rumble said.

"So I noticed." Scootaloo said, rolling her eyes but kept smiling.

"Um...I worry that we're moving a little fast though. We are just kids after all." Rumble added.

"True, but we can worry about things later." Scootaloo said.

"Heh...I suppose your right." Rumble said.
