My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

The entire group was back in Ponyville a few days after the Hearth's Warming's Eve play. Smolder was allowed to attend the play as part of the audience as well as the CMC, White Flame, Button Mash, and Rumble.

When Applejack had asked Princess Celestia as to why the three fillies and three colts were allowed to attend on top of Smolder, Princess Celestia simply said "Because the play should be for every pony to enjoy" which was enough for Applejack initially but then Apple Bloom wanted to talk with White Flame for a while. So now, Scootaloo and Applejack were back in the cellar.

"Ah hate to say it sugarcube, but you were right: Something about that colt just doesn't sit right with me. I can tell he's honest about his whole story, but I can also tell he's holding something back. Must be part of my element." Applejack said.

"I'm not exactly sure if your element has anything to do with how you can sense White Flame is holding something back Applejack." Scootaloo said. "Must be what mom refers to as 'a protective instinct' when it comes to Apple Bloom. Even if you are not Apple Bloom's mom, from what mom told me, you've had to raise Apple Bloom yourself more or less. Because of what happened to your parents." She added.

"...Didn't Rainbow Dash tell you that the subject of my parents was sensitive to me?" Applejack asked. "But I can't lie to you, I guess I do want to look after Apple Bloom as I don't want something bad to ever happen to her." She added.

"EXACTLY. And as her friend, I also want to make sure she isn't being played by White Flame and this whole thing hasn't been some long con of some sort." Scootaloo said. "...Wh-whoa..." She shivered. "...I don't know why, but I just felt a chill run down my spine. Talk about freaky..."

Applejack just stared at Scootaloo. Wonder what that was about? White Flame isn't even here. Probably best to ignore it. The farmer thought to herself. "So, putting that aside, anything to add to the board of coincidences?" Applejack asked out load.

"Maybe...I'm not entirely sure yet. Would need to know why Button Mash's mom, Rumble's brother, and White Flame's uncle allowed the three to go to canterlot with us. The three of those I just mentioned were only there to take the colts to the train and pick them up after and when Apple Bloom wanted to be with White Flame, White Flame's uncle didn't hesitate to give the okay." Scootaloo said. "Best keep that information on the back burner for now." She added.

"...You sure that's a good idea? Could be important for figuring out the truth behind White Flame." Applejack brought up.

"I know it could be important." Scootaloo answered. "The problem, is that I don't see where this information could tie into things yet. But I guess that's true of everything." She added before posting a picture of White Flame's uncle on the corkboard though it had no caption on it unlike the rest of the pictures. "I guess for now, I'll pin it to the board. White Flame is super careful not to let any information that would explain everything away slip. But if there's one thing my mother did pick up from you, Applejack..." Scootaloo turned to Applejack. "...It's that secrets can't stay secret forever." The pegasus filly said.

"Heh...I honestly can't believe she remembered I told her that." Applejack said.

"That's actually another reason as to why I know I can trust you to help me out on this. Mom would trust you to want to look after your sister." Scootaloo said.

"...Funny thing is that's not wrong to think..." Applejack said.

Meanwhile, Apple Bloom and White Flame were enjoying some time together at Sugar Cube Corner, when who else would show up but Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

"Well well well, looks like the Blank Flank is dating someone clearly above her social status. Listen White Flame, your too good for her." Diamodn Tiara said.

Apple Bloom was looking ready to wilt. "Says the spoiled rich kid." White Flame countered.

"...I'm just going to ignore that comment this time. A colt like you shouldn't be wasting time on a Blank Flank like her." Diamond Tiara said.

"How about you start running?" White Flame asked.

"And pray tell, why would I do that? You really can't expect your pet snake to scare me off this time. I'm expecting it." Diamond Tiara said.

"But were you expecting this?" White Flame asked. "HEY PINKIE PIE, YOU'VE GOT TWO FILLIES INSIDE THE BAKERY WHO ARE HARRASING CUSTOMERS AND TRYING TO GIVE THEM FROWNS." He yelled out.

Diamond Tiara's eyes became pinpricks as she went wide eyed before Pinkie Pie suddenly showed up. "HOW DARE YOU COME INTO SUGARCUBE CORNER AND TRY TO GIVE FROWNS TO PONIES!" The pink mare said before suddenly throwing the two rich fillies right out of Sugarcube corner. "NOW BEAT IT, AND ONLY COME BACK WHEN YOU DECIDE TO BE NICE!" Pinkie Pie shouted at them.

"Wow White Flame. That was pretty cool." Apple Bloom said. "Thank you so much for sticking up to me like that. It means a lot." She added.

"I was only doing what any pony should do." White Flame said.

"Don't you mean will do?" Apple Bloom asked.

White Flame sweat dropped. "Yeah...yeah sorry. I guess I was thinking back to my hometown. Ponies there wouldn't go out of their way like I did." White Flame said.

"Well, you're not in your hometown anymore, White Flame; you're in Ponyville. It's natural for us to want to help one another." Pinkie Pie said before going back behind the counter.

"...Pinkie Pie took what ah was going to say out ma mouth, but ah will add that you are kind of silly sometimes, White Flame." Apple Bloom said.

White Flame blushed. "Heh...thanks for that compliment I guess?" He asked. She reminds me a little of...no...no bad White Flame. You promised yourself you wouldn't ever think of that part of your life ever again. Plus, you know she never did any flirting with you. And Apple Bloom won't do that right now. Your both still kids. White Flame thought to himself.

"By the way, ah have to say, your also very very brave." Apple Bloom said. "Ya should be proud of that." She added.

Oh...oh my...she is flittering with me...I think...I've never been flittered with before... White Flame thought to himself while his blush only got deeper.
