Seeing as I didn't want to change the actual events of the episode that much, I figured this was the best alternative.

Chapter 43 - The Mole (Daring Don't Background)

It was just this morning that Rainbow Dash and the rest of the main six had left for the house of A.K. Yearling. None of them seemed to be back though yet the CMC and White Flame's gang were enjoying a picnic.

"Mom's really liking that I'm getting out of the house more thanks to White Flame. Seriously dude, thanks for convincing me on that." Button Mash said.

"You can still enjoy your video games if you want. Plus, I hear the Pony 64 will allow for up to four players for certain games." White Flame said.

"Mom already felt me on that one apparently: She admitted she already put in for a pre-order since the system seems to support me being able to play with many of my friends at once." Button Mash said.

"Wow. Guess having good grades really helped." Scootaloo admitted.

"Well, you all have made studying quite fun. Guess having friends can do a lot." Button Mash said.

"Told you." White flame said.

"Oh look whose hanging out with the blank flanks again." An all too familiar voice said.

"...Diamond Tiara." Apple Bloom said.

Sure enough, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon started approaching the six children when suddenly they were seperated from one another when the ground between them started being disturbed. "What the heck? What's going on now?!" Silver Spoon exclaimed.

The ground was apparently being dug through as a large amount of dirt was risen from it as something continued to borrow its way around the eight children. "What is this thing, some sort of mole?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I have a strange feeling it's something a lot more than some mole." White Flame said.

Sure enough, White Flame was right when out popped some kind of mutated mole person. "Found you, Gareth." The Mole said, pointing a claw at White Flame.

"This isn't Gareth. This is White Flame. Plus, he's our friend." Scootaloo said.

"Do you even understand what he is? What else is here if he's here?" The strange Mole said.

"We know, and we don't care. He's our friend." Rumble said.

"...Be that as it may, I have orders. I am General Johnson Molloy, but you can call me by my code name." The Mole creature said. "...The Mole." He added before he started rushing right towards White Flame.

"...Tch. Of all the lousy things..." White Flame said then parted his hair before bringing up a magic shield.

"HE'S BEEN A UNICORN THIS WHOLE TIME?!" Diamond Tiara exclaimed.

"Gee, guess White Flame REALLY hid that well didn't he?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Yeah. Heck, until you revealed it on the way to the crystal empire, I was convinced he was an earth pony this whole time." Button Mash said.

"Same here." Rumble said.

"Yeah he defiantly does not give you the impression that he's a unicorn. Even now that we know that, he really does come off more as an earth pony then a unicorn huh?" Scootaloo asked.

"You said it, not me." Sweetie Belle said.

Suddenly The Mole was hit by some sort of purple attack which skinned his body. "What the..." The Mole said after being bounced back and seeing the damage. "That's impossible. My body was genetically altered to withstand everything that could be thrown at me." He said.

"Maybe you should check who attacked you first before you go around making assumptions." A strange, very mature sounding voice said before a mysteriously strange creatured colored purple and gray appeared wearing a cape. Not only this, but this creature had some sort of wings on their butt, their head made a strange V pattern, and they were admittedly kind of tiny. They did have blood-colored eyes though.

"Wha--no. That's impossible." The Mole said.

"Been a long time, hasn't it Johnson? We haven't seen each other since the day I died after all." The strange V creature said.

"Shallor. How are you here? Your supposed to be dead." The Mole said.

"You have your orders and I have mine: I've been asked by forced far beyond you-know-who's purview to make sure White Flame isn't murdered. So, when wind of your orders to kill White Flame reached my superior's ears, I was given a pass you could say to make sure you learnt the hard way to leave White Flame alone. If absolutely necessary, that is." Shallor said.

"Tch. Why would the Creator want White Flame alive? He knows how dangarous Zanth is." The Mole questioned.

"It's not the Creator I take orders from right now. Someone witch much more authority then even that." Shallor said.

"...Tch. Fine. But I'm keeping an eye out on White Flame. The moment he does something evil though, all bets are off. Got that Shallor?" The Mole said.

"...Wouldn't have it any other way." Shallor said before vanishing into a piller of shadow and then Johnson burrowed away.

"...What just happened?" Silver Spoon asked.

Later on, there was quite the revaluation at Rainbow Dash's resident that night. "DARING DO IS YOUR WHAT?!" Scootaloo's voice could be heard all across Ponyville.

"...Guessing Rainbow Dash told Scootaloo." Twilight said.

"Yeah. I never expected that not only finding out A.K. Yearling was really Daring Do, but that Daring Do was Rainbow Dash's real mother was one hell of a shocker today." Spike said.

"Tell me about it." Smolder said.
