My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

Twilight had her head on the Library table. "Still not finding anything?" Flash asked.

"Nope. I've been coming up with nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch." Twilight said. "And of all the times for Spike to be away with Smolder on a dare into the Everfree Forest." She added.

"...Why are they doing that again?" Flash asked.

"After Smolder's latest teasing of Rarity and Fancy Pants's relationship, Rarity decided that if Smolder and Spike can survive for 24 hours together in the Everfree Forest without ever getting scared and make it out alive, then Rarity will stop kicking Smolder out of the house every time Smolder teases Rarity." Twilight said.

"So less of a dare, and more of a deal." Flash said.

"Yep. Thing is, they've already been in there for 10 hours so far. So, I have a feeling Rarity is going to be losing that deal. Pinkie Pie even bet Rarity 10 Bits that the dragon couple will win and if there's one thing I've learnt about Pinkie Pie, it's that you don't question her. And she's been right about every bet that's happened." Twilight said.

"So your trusting Pinkie Pie's intution with that?" Flash asked.

"Yep." Twilight said. Suddenly a letter materialized. "Ah. Right. I sent a letter to Princess Celestia asking about this." The purple alicorn said.

"Really? Were you asking about the archives?" Flash asked.

"Figured they might hold a few clues." Twilight said and opened the letter. "Huh. So apperently, Celestia admits that while the archives might help, there are books at the old castle that predate the mondern equestria books. Do you know what this means? Thousands of books just waiting to be discovered!" She added.

"Maybe you'll find something new to read then. Haven't you read each of these books a thousand times or something by now?" Flash asked.

"You know me too well." Twilight said.

Quickly within the Castle of the Two Sisters, Twilight and Flash ran into Smolder and Spike.

"Oh hey Twilight." Smolder said.

"Smolder? What are you two doing here?" Twilight asked. Spike then flashed a book titled "Survival 101" at her. "...Huh. I had a feeling you were the one that took that." Twilight said.

"And one of the most important things this book states is to have a shelter. Figured neither Princess Celestia nor Princess Luna would mind if we borrowed the space for the deal." Spike said.

"Plus I found a kitchen. Makes whipping up meals quite a breeze." Smolder said. "Didn't know Spike here was an even better cook then I am." She added.

"...You cook Smolder?" Flash asked.

"I do. I kind of have to. Rarity is very busy with her work, and Sweetie's cooking is...well..." Smolder suddenly trailed off. "...Is calling it a disaster too harsh?" She asked.

"That bad huh?" Twilight asked.

"You have no idea." Smolder said. "One time, I got sick and couldn't cook; Sweetie tried and ended up burning juice. I MEAN HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU BURN JUICE?!" She exclaimed.

"I don't want to know..." Flash asked.

"That makes two of us." Twilight said.

Some time later after the rest of the main six was accounted for after some shenanigans in the castle, the group had stayed over night at the castle.

"Well this was quite the past few hours. Though I admit, things really got out of hand." Rarity said.

"Yeah. Especially with Rainbow Dash and I." Applejack said.

"Not sure how the CMC and White Flame's group got here though. Thought you six were crusading?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We were, but then White Flame wanted to explore this place." Apple Bloom said.

"Hey, you don't know. One of you might have gotten an archologist's cutie mark from this. There are a few ruins like this one scattered across equestria. Do you know what that could do for history's sake?" White Flame asked.

"Well it might be something I'll look into, but nothing that I feel concrete about." Rumble admitted.

"Yeah same. Might be something fun to work on on the side." Scootaloo said.

"That's my daughter for you." Rainbow Dash said, ruffling Scootaloo's mane. "Kind of wish I knew what dad was talking about in his letter." She added.

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

"Dad wrote me a bit ago. Seems he found out about my adoption of Scootaloo as my own daughter. And Windy Whistles just got cancer. Thing is, apparently according to him, she's not my biological mother. But he refuses to tell me who it really is. Just that my real mother's out there. Somewhere." Rainbow Dash said.

"Ooooo...I sense a doozy coming in a couple of days, and woo boy, this one is MUCH bigger then Twilight believing!" Pinkie Pie said. "Oh by the way Rarity, you owe me ten bits." She added.

"I do?" Rarity asked.

"Yep." Pinkie Pie said before an alarm clock sounded which the party pony took out of her mane and silenced. "It's been exactly twenty-four hours since the dragons left for the forest and thus, they won your little deal." Pinkie Pie added.

"Wow." Spike said.

"Time flies when you find your sister suddenly crying over a tapestry she wanted to restore." Smolder said. "And reading Princess Celestia's dairy." She added.

Rarity quietly handed over ten bits to Pinkie Pie. "So, a couple of days from now, something doozy is going to happen? Now I'm excited. Good thing I have things in place with Thunderlane just in case I have to go out of town for a bit now." Rainbow Dash said.

"You actually talked with my brother?" Rumble asked.

"I trust you more than him honestly." Rainbow Dash added.

"...Yeah, that sounds about right." Rumble noted.
