Power Ponies AU

The mane six, the CMC, and WFG were all at the Castle of the Two Sisters cleaning the place up. The two dragons were there too.

"So, remind me again: Why are we choosing to clean this place up?" Smolder asked Spike.

"Something Twilight thought up because she wants to see if this place can be made into some kind of hideaway." Spike said.

"Maybe she got the idea from the 24 hours we spent in this castle~" Smolder said.

"Wouldn't put it past her." Spike said.

"Speaking of, which one of you was it that had the bright idea to use this place as a shelter?" Rarity asked.

"It was Spike." Smolder said.

"...What?" Rarity was confused. "I would've expected that to be your idea, Smolder." She added.

"Nope. Totally Spike's idea. Even if I was the one who managed to scrounge up all the food we ate." Smolder said.

"...Your kidding me right? Applejack, help me." Rarity said.

"Ah ain't no lie dictator. Ah may be able to tell when some pony's lying through their teeth, but sometimes, ah just can't tell if and when some pony is lying." Applejack said.

"...Yeah, that's probably for the best. Would start to feel super overpowered after a while." Rainbow Dash said.

"Says the mare who can pull of that Sonic Rainboom like it's no pony's business." Applejack said.

"Well actually, she's not the only one who can do something like the Sonic Rainboom anymore." Scootaloo said, rubbing one of her legs.

"...Don't bucking tell me that you can do it too, Scootaloo." Applejack asked.

"And don't forget Rumble." Scootaloo said. And then Applejack fainted.

"You just broke Applejack. Congratulations Scootaloo." White Flame said sarcastically but in good fun as he snickered.

"I will wear that like a badge of honor." Scootaloo said, rolling her eyes even though went with the joke, snickering afterwards.

"Wait, is that why my animal friends were all in a tizzy yesterday when those two light explosions happened back-to-back?" Fluttershy asked. And then Rarity fainted onto her usual fainting couch.

"This has got to be some kind of record." White Flame said.

Bats! Background

A couple of days later, the CMC, WFG, and the two dragons were out and about around town hoping to find something to do to earn cutie marks. There was one place they had to stay out of.

"Sis told me that for the time being, we need to stay away from Sweet Apple Acres. We got Vampire Fruit bats muching on our crops this year." Apple Bloom said.

"Couldn't we try hearding them away from the farm for her? Who knows, one of us might get a 'Bat Chaser' cutie mark or something." Scootaloo noted.

"Sis already contacted the other adutls. Ah know it sucks that we can't help out, but with Twilight there, there will be a plan that will solve the problem so easily, none of us will have time to GET a cutie mark from wrangling the fruit bats." Apple Bloom said.

"That's a fair enough point." Rumble admitted.

"Besides, there are all sorts of other activities around ponyville we could do instead." Apple Bloom said.

Sadly, both that day and the next day that were spent, no pony got any new cutie marks. However, there was one thing that did happen the very next night when Applejack had a trap set up for any way ward vampire fruit bats and then that brought something to the forefront.

"Wait, you mean that Fluttershy is still turning into some kind of bat pony once a week?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Princess Celestia, can't you do anything?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Sadly no. But I do believe that Fluttershy has the condition under wraps now." Celestia said.

"More or less. Once Apple Bloom gave me an apple, I was more myself." Fluttershy said.

"That was a longshot Apple Bloom." White Flame said.

"Hey, it worked, didn't it? I guess Fluttershy's going to need a steady supply of apples from now on." Apple Bloom said.

"It's fine. I tend to buy apples by the bushfold from the market anyways for all the bunnies that live near my house. Guess I'll need to stockpile ahead of time." Fluttershy said.

"Way to not let what happened drag you down." Johnson said.

"Why is that mole guy here at Fluttershy's place again? Oh right, because he wants to watch White Flame." Scootaloo said.

"Yeah. That's exactly right." Johnson said. Amongst other things that go way above the station of either of these princesses. He thought to himself.

Author's Note

Yeah, when it came to "Power Ponies" because Spike would have Smolder there to basically not make him fall into a slump, he would not accidentally read any enchanted comics.
Oh, and I also just made Fluttershy a were-bat. Bet you didn't see that one coming~
