The CMC, WFG, Spike, and Smolder were all staying over at Rumble's place for a sleep over while Rarity prepares for a fundraiser happening tomorrow. The group was setting things up to play Ogres & Oubliettes.

"Hey Sweetie Belle, didn't your sister show around Trenderhoof the other day?" White Flame asked.

"She did. Ah know because Trenderhoof got bucked by my sister." Apple Bloom said.

"Heh. Well if you ask me, he deserved it." White Flame said.

"Really? Why's that?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Because Trenderhoof is a Womanizer. Or whatever term you ponies use." White Flame said.

"What's a womanizer?" Rumble asked.

"How's the best way to put this? You by now how Thunderlane cheated on Rainbow Dash right?" White Flame asked.

"I think we all know that by heart at this point with how often it gets brought up." Scootaloo said, rolling her eyes at this old news.

"Well think of a womanizer in this case as a stallion who goes around cheating on mares on a regular basis." White Flame said.

"Yeah that's way worse then my brother." Rumble said.

"Yeah no kidding. I did it once, and I'm going to go to great length not to do it again." Thunderlane said. "Once was enough." He added.

"By the way, why are you being forced to retire Thunderlane?" Apple Bloom asked.

"...My little affair with Rainbow Dash has been made public. Spitfire's forcing me to retire so that the Higher Ups can't completely can me." Thunderlane said.

"Oof. That's got to SUCK." Scootaloo winced.

"At least this way, I can still get retirement money, but I'm basically going to be forced to be a stay-at-home kind of stallion from here on out. Unless somepony wants to hire a public cheater that is." Thunderlane said.

"Maybe you should talk with my mom? She trusts you enough to look after me whenever she's out of town, so maybe she'll also hire you on as part of the weather crew for Ponyville." Scootaloo said.

"...And how in the world would your mom be able to hire me?" Thunderlane asked.

"What? You mean you don't know? Rainbow Dash is the manager of the Ponyville Weather Team. At least for the time being." Scootaloo said.

"...What?" White Flame asked, stunned. He wasn't the only one.

"Does no pony else know this? I thought it was public knowledge by now." Scootaloo said.

"...I cheated on the Ponyville Weather Team Manager?" Thunderlane asked.

"Yeah. Well, she wasn't the manager at the time when that went down though. She was on her way to becoming the manager though." Scootaloo said.

"Oh. Still, maybe now Spitfire forcing me into retirement before the brass can cut me off of my retirement checks makes more sense." Thunderlane said.

"Is there a reason why that would look bad?" Scootaloo asked. "I don't get adult stuff." She added.

"The Wonderbolts are meant to have a good trustworthy relationship with all the various weather managers. So, if a Wonderbolt is caught cheating on one..." Thunderlane started.

"...Then it would hurt the entire organization, causing cut-backs." Spike finished. The foals, Smolder, and Thunderlane looked at the purple dragon at that. "...What can I say? I learnt politics from hanging around Twilight so much since she became an Alicorn Princess." Spike argued.

"...No comment." Smolder said.

"Same." Thunderlane said.

"Yeah, even I've got nothing." White Flame said.

"How about we just start playing this game?" Button Mash asked.

"I can get behind that." Sweetie Belle said.

The session has lasted for a bit.

"Uh oh. I just realized; my character's low on health." Button Mash said.

"You're JUST now noticing you're low on health? You've been low on health for the past NINE rooms of this dungeon." Spike said.

"Yeah. How is the half-asleep never been Dungeon Master to a game like this before paying more attention than you?" Smolder asked.

"Smolder be nice." Sweetie Belle said.

"...Yeah, that was unintentionally rude. Sorry Button Mash." Smolder said.

"Honestly I deserved that jab." Button Mash said.

"The better question is how have you managed to roll just enough every time to not take any more damage?" Scootaloo asked, glancing at White Flame.

"For the last time, my magic doesn't influence luck, and it's purely defensive based." White Flame countered.

"...Just making sure." Scootaloo said.

"You've argued that for like the past five rolls of White Flame though, Scootaloo." Smolder said.

"Can you blame me? Who on Eques rolls five perfect twenties in a row? No pony is that lucky." Scootaloo said.

"Says the filly who rolled a perfect 20 when they wanted to save their coltfriend from a booby trap that would've killed them in our last session." Spike said.

Scootaloo raised a hoof, and then lowered it. "...Okay fair enough point." Scootaloo said.

"That gives me an idea." Sweetie Belle said. "We may be out of potions, but I do know a heal spell." She added.

"And you've got plenty of MP too. Go for it Sweetie." Apple Bloom said.

"Right. Here's goes. Rolling to see if I'm able to heal Button Mash or accidently kill him with a backfire'd spell." Sweetie Belle said before rolling her dice.

The group had to spend an extra few days over at Thunderlane's place due to unforseen circumstances involving a requested performance and Fluttershy, but all in all, the group had fun.

...Though probably the biggest take away from this session, was the kiss Button Mash gave Sweetie Belle when her heal spell ended up restoring him to full health just before a boss monster would've killed him in the next room otherwise. All from Sweetie Belle rolling a perfect twenty.

Author's Note

Thanks to the way I've been writing things, and because I much prefer writing an asexual Applejack she would be unable to be affected by Trenderhoof's attempts at flirting her. Add in Rarity having Fancy Pants as her special somepony in this universe, she too wouldn't let Trenderhoof's flirts get to her. So as a result, I performed an outright episode skip in this in this chapter.

Oh, and if anyone knows what the pony version of the term "womanizer" would be, do leave a comment down below and I'll make sure to use that in a later chapter at some point.
