Trade Ya! AU

The trade fair was underway in Canterlot, and Fluttershy, and Scootaloo were attending.

"Thanks for agreeing to help me find a wedding present to give to mom." Scootaloo said.

"Well, I was hoping to obtain a bird whistle anyways, and I do hope I can find one." Fluttershy said. The pair found a pony who had a first edition copy of Daring Do and the Sapphire Stone, signed by the author.

"Oh wow. A first edition copy of the first Daring Do book signed by the author." Scootaloo said.

"Uh...that's the thing that caught your eye? I'm not sure what could ever convince me to part with this." The pony said.

"Oh dear, we may have to look--" Fluttershy said.

Scootaloo soon produced a mint copy of the daring do book that Rainbow Dash appeared in, Daring Do and the Ring of Destiny. Also signed by the author. "Perhaps this would be a fair trade?" Scootaloo said.

"Isn't this the most recent book by the author? How in the world did you manage to hold onto a mint copy signed by the author for all this time?!" The pony exclaimed.

"My mom has a non-mint copy back at home. And she knows the author." Scootaloo said.

The pony was flabbergasted. "...I'll trade for that, no questions asked." The pony said and traded for the book. There was a bit of ferociousness going on behind her. "Oh not again. That darn animal of mine is out of control again." The pony said.

"Um, not to brag, but I am really good with animals. But this is a trade fair." Fluttershy said.

"Ugh. What could I possibly offer you--" The pony said.

"Got a bird call?" Scootaloo asked. "She's looking for one. Also, before you ask, no, this pegasus is not my mother. She's a friend of my mom." She added.

"I actually do happen to have a bird call. Done deal." The Pony said.

Inspiration Manifestation AU

"Oh why thank you so much." Rarity said. Fancy Pants, Smolder, and even Spike had all helped Rarity create an amazing puppet box for a puppetter that was there for the Ponyville Carnival.

"It was nothing Rarity. I'm always willing to help out where needed. Besides, I was going to be here for the Ponyville Carnival anyways." Fancy Pants said.

"Plus, I believe the Puppeteer is going to LOVE this thing." Smolder stated.

"Here he comes now." Spike said.

"Oh my..." The Puppeteer said. "This is simply the best Puppeteer stand I've ever seen." He added.

"Well I didn't do it alone." Rarity said.

"I don't care. This is way beyond my expectations. I'll pay double." The Puppeteer said and gladly paid for the trouble and then took off with the Puppet Stand.

"...Wow. And I thought sis could be generous to a fault." Smolder said.

"Some ponies just need the right desire sometimes." Spike said.

Equestria Games AU

Thanks to some help from Smolder, Spike was feeling very confident in lighting the torch to kickstart the Equestria Games.

Ponies from all over had come to view these events. However, what no one realized was that they were all being watched by none other than Zanth.

"There is far too much positivity going around right now. I need to change that and soon or I may be forced to alter my plans." Zanth said. "Gareth is here. I'd bet my powers on it, but he is clever in having somehow hidden his own power from the likes of me." He added before suddenly chuckling. "Not that it matters one little bit. I don't know what he did, but he made it so we can no longer become one being again. He has severed our connected link. That mutant mole believes killing Gareth would kill me too, but he would instead only be killing Gareth as a result." Zanth explained. "Not that I need to become one with Gareth anymore. I have found a way to become powerful without his assistance." He added. Zanth turned his attention to Soarin. "First thing is first though; it's time to make these ponies fall into despair. I won't kill any of them, but I'll make something just as despairing happen." Zanth said before laughing hauntingly.

Author's Note

...AUs abound. And I probably don't have to explain much for two of these AUs, and I explain the third one within this chapter. If anyone doesn't understand how I don't have to explain much with two of these AUs, then you obviously haven't been paying much attention lately.

Honestly, I think I'm starting to get to the point where there's not much I can change or write about without resorting to back-to-back O & O chapters which again, I'm trying my best to avoid.

...And on that note, since not many have voiced their opinion about it, next chapter is going to feature something that at least on my end, has been a LONG time coming. It should help make up for the some-what short chapter. I bet I'm easily going to break 2K next chapter.
