A couple of days ago, Flim & Flam had visited again with another scheme, this time marketing water as some cure-all tonic. Eventually Applejack told the truth about the tonic and was given a single bit from the stallion who was with Flim & Flam known as Silver Shill. Though just before leaving, Silver Shill had admitted to some random mare that tried to flirt with him that he was asexual.

"Hey Applejack, was that a glance you just gave Silver Shill as he left?" White Flame asked.

"Ah don't know what you're talking about. I'm asexual remember." Applejack said.

"Being asexual has got nothing to do with romantic feelings. Something that has occurred to me is that love will always find a way." White Flame said and then went off.

"...Love will always find a way huh..." Applejack muttered to herself and then went off to contemplate things.

However, that was all two days ago. And today, Flash Sentry was out and about around Ponyville when Spike & Smolder spotted him.

"What on earth is Flash doing?" Smolder asked.

"I don't know. He's been all over the place for the past two days. I think he's up to something. Shall we see what he's up to? I'm worried that this could be really, really bad. Or it could also be really, really important." Spike said.

"I'm in." Smolder said, shaking claws with Spike.

Unique Episode: A Flash Proposal

The two dragons started to follow Flash around. "Wonder what he's up to? He's been to Bon Bon's candy store and the local Pizza place in the past three hours." Smolder said.

"Wait, that building he just went into just now is the Jewelry store. It's actually ran by none other than Silver Spoon's mother." Spike said.

"How do you know that?" Smolder asked.

"Because it's the same place I went to when so you could have that." Spike said, pointing to Smolder's Fire Ruby necklace that she's been wearing ever since it was made.

"Oh." Smolder said. Then suddenly gasped. "Oh..." Smolder added.

"What? What is it?" Spike asked.

"I just realized what Flash is planning to do, and it's one heck of a surprise for Twilight." Smolder said.

"...You mean he's going to you-know-what?" Spike asked.

"Ponies are really big on that sort of thing after all. And I think I'll be having you sleep over at Rarity's place tonight." Smolder said. But then she got out a camera. "...Though first, I need a picture." Smolder added.

"What's with the camera?" Spike asked.

"I hoard pictures, okay?" Smolder said.

"Hey, I'm not one to judge. I hoard comic books." Spike said. "I just never pictured you as the picture hoarding type." He added.

"Hey, I have to hoard SOMETHING." Smolder said.

Flash soon arrived back at the Ponyville Library, just as Twilight finished with her latest book.

"Wow Flash, you never have this good timing." Twilight said.

"I guess I got lucky." Flash said, smiling.

"A stay-at-home pizza night. You never cease to surprise me with your small little gestures Flash." Twilight said.

"Heh, I try. Gotta keep things fresh because I like our dynamic, even if me being in ponyville has allowed us to get that much closer with each other." Flash said.

"Part of me wonders if you did that for more than just to live in the same town as me." Twilight said.

"Well, that was a part of it, but it was mostly because I was honestly fed up with the long-distance thing. Hard to believe that's almost been a full year since we ran back into each other when Discord got loose." Flash said.

"The anniversary of that happening is in two more weeks. I'm sure Pinkie Pie's going to be more prepared this time. Especially if it gives her an excuse to call over Cheese Sandwhich." Twilight said.

"Yeah those two were made for each other. As are Soarin and Rainbow." Flash said.

"That one's putting in midely. Rainbow told me that shortly after Luna has her tests done for the Shadowbolts, the two are planning on getting married." Twilight said.

"Huh. I wonder if you'd convince her to have a double wedding event." Flash said.

"Oh yeah, Rainbow Dash would SO go for something like that. But, who else could possibly get married on that same day?" Twilight asked.

"I was honestly thinking it could be us..." Flash said before producing a horn ring. "I know you're an Alicorn now and all, but we got together while you were still a Unicorn, and I figured that ran deeper for you than your recent flight." He added.

"Flash, are you..." Twilight started.

"Yeah. I'm proposing to you." Flash said.

"...THAT IS ALL OF MY YES!" Twilight said before tackling Flash and kissing him.

Just at the two kissed though, a flash went off. "Yep, that's totally going in my hoard." Smolder said.

"Smolder? Spike?" Twilight noticed the two dragons.

"Hey it was either her take a photo, or risk some photogopher who didn't care about helping you get revenge on Shining Armor." Spike said.

"...You'd actually help her do that?" Flash asked.

"Shining Armor could use being delt a hand of sweet, sweet payback." Smolder said.

"Well then I'm glad it's you two who found out first." Twilight said.

"Yeah. Spike's staying over at Rarity's place today, however." Smolder said before dragging Spike away.

"...Heh, dragons may not be big on the marriage thing, but I'd dare say they are more or less a couple at this point." Flash said.

"I agree. Just like us huh?" Twilight asked.

"Yep. Most certainly. And we hardly need words." Flash said.

"Between us, our actions are worth a thousand words anyways." Twilight said as the two resumed kissing each other just before the scene faded to black.

Author's Note

So, "Leap of Faith" was up next, and once again, there wasn't anything I could do for that outside of making yet another O & O chapter and I would like to once again point out that I am trying my absolute best NOT to have those be so close together like this. So once again, I am electing to outright skip an episode which makes this the third skip being done on short notice. Though if things weren't bad enough, the episode right after that would have been "Testing, Testing, 1-2-3" which due to the current narrative, is being saved for later. However, just like with "Wonderbolt Academy" a unique episode is being put in its place for the time being, and considering what happened, I doubt you all mind.

...And I'll be honest, I totally forgot Silver Shill was even a character on the show. Even though I've been writing Applejack as an Asexual character, something that was pointed out to me was that Asexual doesn't mean somebody or in this case, some pony, is asexual doesn't mean that they can't have romantic attachments towards any pony. And well...what can I say? I may have finally found SOME PONY I can hook Applejack with and still keep her Asexual. Asexual just means that some pony isn't attracted to stallions or mares, but they can still have romantic feelings for some pony else if it's written right. And while I do prefer writing an Asexual Applejack, I can still keep her Asexual and possibly have Silver Shill come back later and let him be Asexual too.

And also, just before I made these past few chapters, I finally watched all of "Bojack Horseman" on Netflix. And there is an asexual couple in that show, so I figured if that show says it's okay for two asexual people to get romantically involved with one another, then I figured I could do something similar with Applejack and Silver Shill gives me the perfect excuse.
