Sunset Shimmer: Hero of Canterlot City

It was a musky day in Canterlot City at Havencroft, a rehab facility for criminals, as one of the doctors was talking to Surge.

"Dylan, I'm very proud of you. You've made tremendous progress. You continue therapy, but I just know you'll do great out there."

"Owe it to all to you, doc, thanks."

Sometime later Surge was a phoneline and made to someone.

"I'm out."

"Excellent, Dylan, I'm so pleased," Misstress Mayhem was on the other end.

"You're the only person who wrote to me at Havencroft, Dr. Saddles."

"I've taken a special interest in your case, an interest which should benefit both us both."

"Yeah, love the idea of double teaming you know who?"

'Double team, we can do better than that."

Later that night, Raptor who was put in charge of dinner for the convicts was headed to their cells and one to Iron Bull and one to Desert Doom

"Are kidding me?! A sandwich!? This has to be a joke, right?! Raw silicates only, Stout! I don't eat food no more!" He tossed the sandwich at the door.

"Just save room, for dessert, Solar a la mode."

Just outside of the prison island, Surge retracted his mask and began to short out the generator. Two guards took notice and ran straight to him.

"Freeze!" one of them said until Surge fired a thunderbolt at both of them knocking them out, then fire another one at the generator destroying it, causing the power to short, which the cells that were designed for Iron Bull and Desert Doom powered down.

"Do not approach wall... or..." the voice stammered until it was silent and the alarm came on.

"Finally she shuts up!" Iron Bull exclaimed rammed right through it then Desert Doom emerged on the other side.

"Back in busseniess, bady!" Both high-five each other as they made their way to other cells and free Wallace, Sassy, Regina, Tauro, and Slick and headed outside.

"Stop right there!" A prison guard said as they fired voltage lines at Iron Bull, who felt a little jolt.

"Tickles," Iron Bull exclaimed as plowed right through them then on the other side Surge blew up the wall to see them.

"Ahh, Dylann it's good to see you," Sassy said.

"No offense, doc, I go by Surge now," He pointed out.

"I understand completely if you would do the honors?"

Surge charges Sassy's power core lit up then a helicopter came down showing Tiger Claw.

"Hello, gents," Tiger Claw greeted as he and his driver handed the gear to Regina, Wallace, and Sassy. "Okay, Slicker, Tauro, you're with me. Regina, stick with these mooks for now. The last boat off the island is that way."

The villains headed for the boat and Tiger Claw's chopper took off as they made it to Canterlot City.

"Gotta love these lazy Saturday mornings," Sunset said then look at her clock seeing it was already 12:16. "Or noons. Better get up."

She went to her closet and her costume was already on her.

"Wow. This alien suit is quite a timesaver," Sunset said then put on her clothes. "How can I ever live without you?"

Moments later she calls Twilight on her phone.

"Hey, Twilight, I was wondering do want to hang out?" Sunset asked.

I'd love to but I promised Flurry Heart that we spend time together. On an unrelated note, I've just heard from Rainbow that five of Solar Eclipse's enemies have just escaped.

"Did not know that. I'll be careful out there. Same to you."

"Hey Barton," Sunset greeted him only to give him the cold shoulder. "Is something wrong?"

"Something wrong, you take pictures of Solar stealing the ooze and didn't call the cops and you wonder if I'm ticked?"

"I'm sorry..."

"Save it, I was over the whole snake thing, but this who are, a user. You do what gets you ahead, even if it hurts those that close to you. At least Rainbow Dash nor Sprint Streak would leave them hanging. What you need is a taste of your own medicine, and have something you care about taken away. The trouble is I'm not sure you actually care about anything," He said to her then left on his motorcycle.

Much later...

"Oh great. Perfect, Wonderful," Solar said to herself. "I've lost my oldest friend. Well, who needs him? I got the cool new suit,"

Then she heard police sirens.

"And something to blow some steam."

At the Canterlot Theater...

"I just heard St. John Devenaux is just hilarious as Falstaff," Flurry Heart said to Twilight then police cars showed up and created a barricade.

"Freeze, Bit!" One of them said as Iron Bull came right at them.

"It's that awful bull person that Applejack told me about," Twilight exclaimed.

"Ah, Iron Bull," Solar shouted as she showed up. "I knew there was no prison wide enough to hold you."

"Wide enough, funny," He chuckled a bit.

"I knew they talk trade jokes in the slammer but sense a humor?" then her head flash. "I usually don't get flashes when the bad guy's in plain sight."

Desert Doom surprised her with a punch.

"Sorry, Sunny. Was supposed to wait my turn?" He asked her

"Wait you two are partners again?"

"Us two?" Queen Toxic implied as Discharge walked up.

"You're not getting off that easy, sister," She said as Raptor landed, Surge slid across a panel and Mistress Mayhem jumped to ground level.

"Now then, Solar, any last words?" The hairy villain asked.

"Homina, homina, homina, comes to mind." Solar said as the six approached her then Twilight and Flurry Heart stopped them.

"Ladies, you may want to step aside," Mistress Mayhem said.

"So you can attack her, I think not," Twilight said.

"I'll be fine ma'am to get to safety," Solar said to her.

"Plow through them, already!" Iron Bull shouted only for Mistress Mayhem to stop him.

"Show's stating," Solar grabs both of them and headed into the theater. "Are you okay?"

"I think so," Twilight said.

Then a hair tentacle grabs her by the waist.

"Don't worry about me, get as far away as you can!"

"Yes, run along now, ladies," Mistrees Mayhem said then both of them headed further into theater.

"Pull," Discharge said.

Mistress Mayhem tossed her into the air then Discharge blasted a shockwave at her making her crash upon a car then Surge fired a bolt at her but she dodged. only Iron Bull ram right at her but missed and hit the wall.

"Only six, huh? What happened Fang and Elf had Knicks tickets?" Solar asked. "Gotta get some altitude and deal with one at time."

"Alright, time for you to get grounded!" Solar exclaimed as she launched Raptor's back and punch his engine but only to hurt.

"Nice try, I already picked up on your tricks, my tech protect by reinforced steel!" Raptor said then got grabbed by Misterss Mayhem.

"In fact, none of your former methods will work on us, a second time!" She exclaimed then threw her right at Desert Doom who then created bat and send her right into a jumbotron.

"And the Yankees win the pennant!"

"I hate admit it," Solar said as she gets up. "I can't beat them if they're working together, time to bail!"

Solar did magic blast on the ground blinding the six and escape through the sewers.

"Uh, where she'd go?" Surge asked.

"There. in the sewers," Discharge said then Surge, Desert Doom, and Mistress Mayhem made it in,

"Uh, guys, I don't I can fit, and I don't do good in tunnels," Iron Bull said.

"You and Raptor keep the police occupied, we handle the wet work," She replied.

"And how are we supposed to spot her?" Discharge asked.

"With this!" Surge said then fire bolt down the tunnel.

"Surge, I'm pleased you've learned to conduct your power underwater but down here you present a danger to the group. Head back up."

"But the sun freak..."

"Dylan."

"Whatever you say, doc," Surge put on her mask then headed back.

"Hey, I'm turning to mudman here. Can I go too?" Desert Doom asked.

"Amateur," Discharge groaned.

"Who you calling an amateur?"

None of them realized that Solar was in invisible.

Then at Canterlot Weekly bulidng...

"The whole thing is Solar's fault! Canterlot never saw supervillains till the superhero showed up. Where's Shimmer?!" Platium Writer asked.

"Got an update from Canterlot Square," Thunder Prism said. "Plenety of property damage. No serouis injures. But one girl just collapsed."

"Well, give me a name, Prism. The people want to know who to pity."

"Twilight Sparkle."

"Twilight's my classmate, I have to call her."

"No, Gabby, I'll call her myself.

Solar reached her apartment then receveied a voicemail from her boss.

Great, Platium Writer is probably calling to yell at me for not getting pics of those bozos beating me up. That we don't need.

Sunset headed her bed while the ooze went underneath.

"Hopefully, Twilight went back home. That's the last thing we need. I wish I could wake up tomorrow with Mayhem and her goons behind bars."

Later the criminals were at a fancy restaurant that they broke into and had dinner.

"A toast to Solar's ignominious defeat," Raptor said as he hold up a glass.

"Defeat?" Discharge asked. "Seems a job ain't done till it's done."

"I was topside, you yahoos, lost the creep. Next I'll smash her myself!" Iron Bull exclaimed.

"What's with you and revenge? I all want is a big score!" Desert Doom said.

"This obsession with any of them is a mere annoyance. It's Merecer who truly earned my wrath."

"I'm calling TC see if he'll give okay to ditch you sorry..."

"What are doing!?" Surge stopped all of them. "I need a cure but the only way to get what we want is to trust the doc."

"Thank you, Surge, yes gentlemen and lady we are all angry but she will be crushed."

"How? She's long gone!"

"We simply force a situation where she has to play the hero. She'll come. She can't help herself. Check, please."

"It's on house," The waiter said.

"How kind of you. And wise."

Solar headed out where she heard the the escape criminals are holding hostages at the Horseshoe in Canterlot City. Little did know they expected her to come.

Raptor came down and punched her.

"She's back!"

Solar landed around a pile of sand then Desert Doom emerged from it then toss her in the air, to get shock by Surge, then punched by Iron Bull then was held by Mayhem.

"Well, you call it, doc," Discharge exclaimed seeing her. "Guess some folk is are dumb to live."

...

"Iron Bull, you won the coin toss. Will you crush her skull or implare her threat on your horn?"

"Impale. Impale sounds good," Iron Bull said while Solar glared at him.

What's the matter, to scare to crack a joke!"

Just as Iron Bull charged at her, Solar created two tenacltes that slashed at his eyes, then did the same to Mistress Mayhem.

"I got it!" Surge fires a thunderbolt but sends her and Solar to the park.

...

"Sentry, Fenton, secure the hostages in the bank," Shinning Armor said. "Colt, with me."

As the police headed into the park, Mayhem fired a semism at Solar only to dodge, and avoid Discharge's shockwave, but that sended her underground, but not before she dragged the hairy villain with her magic, that caused Desert Doom to punch her and lost his solid form.

"I'm gonna fry for that, freak!" Surge said as he and Discharge fired their blast at her.

Solar did two magic blasts that blinded them, allowing her to use her magic and slammed both their face on the beam. Desert Doom punched her sending her back and quickly regaining her footing. Queen Toxic created a giant axe and charge forward then Raptor swooped down and charge at her as well. Solat pulled herself out of danger causing the two villains to crash into each other. Just Desert Doom gathered himself, Iron Bull hold of her and threw her only for her come right at Iron Bull knocking him off balance.

Then Discharge and Surge got back up fired at her, forcing her to dodge, just as they were doing that, Solar threw sticky orbs at them, catching them off guard, which allowed her Solar to fire a flame blast at them casung them to fall. Beatdown turned around and look at her.

"Come and get it, horn head."

"You ask for it!"

Iron Bull shouted then charged right at her making her dodge , then Solar blinded his face. Blowtorch and Plasma fired at them then Solar got behind Iron Bull and the attacks hit him instead.

"Oh, man!"

"Damn it! Keep shooting!"

Both continue to fire at her, with Solar holding Iron Bull.

"Move in, kid, i got you covered," Discharge told her to move forward allowing him to fire at her blindside but she thew Iron Bull on him.

"Crap!" He exclaimed as Iron Bull was ontop of him. "Get him off!"

Discharge fire another shockwave sending Solar to the ground of the park. Then the rest of them grouped back.

"What the heck happened to Bit?" Desert Doom asked.

"Desert Doom, help Surge."

"Get him off!" Surge said then nearing shock Desert Doom.

"I'm trying to! Turn down the juice!"

"Wait! She's trying to escape again," Raptor as Solar heaed for a manhole forcing him stop her from running.

"Raptor, move! I don't take out another of our own!" Discharge exclaimed.

Raptormove away, which gave her a clear shot, and fire a shockwave making her dodge it and got on Raptor's back. Then she pulled the headgear off Raptor's head forcing her to the ground.

"Now I got you!" Discharge charged her gauntlet only for her fire a flame orb at one of her gauntlets shorting it out. "What the boot hill!?"

Desert Doom came right at her, but Solar dodged just Discharge fired another shockwave only at Desert Doom which made a hole, then Solar used her magic and thrust her gauntlet at him losing his solid form then kick Discharge and grabbed one of them to keep Desert Doom at bay.

"Dodge this!" Discharge came right at her with a punch that cause an explosion and send him back.

"I knew you were finally getting serouis when stop cracking your jokes," Mistress Mayhem tied her up. "Just as I knew you spend your stamina fighting my allies. Leaving me to deliver the coup de grace, Now I do believe we promise Iron Bull an implement."

"Get him off!" Surge created an electric barrier that shocked her causing her to lose her grip on Solar.

"Apologies, Iron Bull. Were doing this my way!" Mistres Mayhem said to him then turn around to see Solar's suit had repair it.

"Your new suit inteerts, me, Miss Solar, I going to enjoy peeling it away for further study."

Her hair came right her then one of them grabbed at the leg and swinged her around but Solar grabbed the pole twirled around and kick her right at the face sending right into a wall, then Solar held her.

"The next time you see me, you're dead," Solar said then drop her nad heaed out.

"Well, it's like this was handle pretty well," Shinning said as the cops rounded them up.

The next day....

"Did I overslept again?" Sunset said then looked at her clock showing 9:00 am. "I've been sleep for nine hours. So why I am still exhausted?"

She looked herself in the mirror and saw scar on left arm.

"I don't remember taking this much pushiment at Canterlot Sqaure. Where did that one come from?" Sunset said then went outside and grab the newspaper.

"Sunny stops Deadly Six. Photos by Sunset Shimmer? I don't remember any of this. It's like I slept through the whole fight. This wasn't me wearing the suit. This was the suit wearing my body. This alien... It's some kind of symbiote.

Still, what do we care? The Six were put down hard. And Shimmer gets paid for the photos. What else matters?

"Sunset!" She turned around and saw Fluttershy running toward her.

"Flluttershy, is everything okay?"

"No, it with Twilgiht, Flurry Heart told me she had heart attack last night. She's hospital and she's doing okay."
