After her fight with Emerland Elf, Sunset was in the confines of her apartment thinking to herself.

"Okay, so I know that Discharge, Desert Doom, and Iron Bull are working for Gravestone, but Elf just popped out of nowhere and almost tried to kill him and several others. I need to unmask that freak before anyone else gets hurt. So the question remains who is the Elf?"

Then Sunset got her in her costume.

"Maybe some good night patrol will clear some things," Solar said before heading out.

At MercerCorp...

"But what about, Solar Eclipse?" Sassy asked Darell. "He's battled Desert Doom and Iron Bull. She could trace them back to MercerCorp. To me!"

"Enough! You whine more than my son," Darell said to her. "I can't have weak employees in my organization, Saddles. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir, I'll do what I'm told."

"That's all I ask. Now run your little experiments like a good doctor."

Darell left the room leaving her all alone.

"Okay time to test my research regrowing hair," Sassy said as her hair formula was on her then suddenly Emerland Elf was right behind her zapping her hair.

"What are you doing the formula is highly reactive to any electrical exposure!" Sassy said as the lighting also made it go directly into her brain.

Just outside, Solar saw a bright light outside of MercerCorp.

"That can't be good, I need to get over there and quick!"

...

"What the devil is going on?" Darell asked.

"It's Ms. Saddles, sir. She's down, but the doors are shut..."

"Then open it, will you!"

The workers opened it and went inside.

"Miss Saddles are you okay? Where are you?" He looked around and saw her on the ground covered in rubble. "Saddles!"

"I got it," Solar came in and use her magic to get it off allowing them to get her out of there.

"How is she?"

"She's got a pulse, sir but it looks like whatever she was working on had somehow fused with her skin."

Then Sassy regained her bearing.

"Sassy, Sassy are you there?"

"I will not be weak," Sassy slowly got up then her hair started to move.

"Sassy, please get..."

Her hair grabbed him and then slammed him to the wall.

"Quiet, you impudent moron!"

"Okay, hair girl!" Solar came in. "Mr.Mercer here helped save your life."

"You!"

Her hair grabbed her and wrapped her up.

"For the record, I helped save your life, too."

"Do not insult my intellect, hero. You tracked me down and tried to destroy me, as I knew."

"Destroy you, I don't even know you."

"Oh, but I survived. And more to the point, I have improved. I am now one with my hair. Oh, you've failed, Solar Eclipse. And your failure has given me new life!"

Then she released Darell.

"Sassy?"

"Not Sassy. Sassy Saddles was weak. Call me Mistress Mayhem!"

"Look, Mayhem. Have you thought this through? The next hero who finds you understand a pile of debris might view this a cation tale."

Then Mayhem slammed to the ground.

"Gilb doesn't equal clever, Eclipse."

"Yeah, well, the ratio of hair to sanity doesn't line up either."

"Do you ever shut up!" Sassy exclaimed the punched her.

"No, my fans expect a certain amount of jokes in every battle."

Then both engage in a tussle, Mistress Mayhem threw off Solar to wall, but Solar quickly kick her right at the ribs.

"Come on, Mayhem, can we hug it out," Solar joked.

Then the hairy villain chuck several pieces of debris at her but she dodged everyone.

"You can't dodge forever," Mayhem exclaimed. "But as much I would continue this, I have things to handle, so I bid you adieu."

Mayhem grabbed Solar's leg and threw her across the room and left the lab.

Moments later at random building.

"Mistress Mayhem is long gone, as if Elf wasn't bad enough now with villian whose hair is a weapon," Solar exclaimed.

On the other side of Canterlot City.

"I can't belive I once lived in this anemic hovel," Mayhem said looking around her house. "Well, no more! And no more Yes Mr. Mercer. I'm sorry, Mr. Mercer. Please Mr. Mercer. How grovel before that man. But soon, the whole world will grovel before Mistress Mayhem, but first, I would need a power source that won't abandon me mid-battle."

She took the power source of chest armor and inserted a new one.

"But these will have to do short term. But I need solid answer to ensure the Solar's demise."

The next day at the Equestria Fair...

"Hey, Twilight," Sunset walked over to her.

"Oh, Sunset, I'm glad you're here. Something is really weird with Travis."

"And your surprised at this?"

"Sunset," Twilight glare at her.

"Okay, I'll admit, the football has gone to his head. But look at him. He's a walking commercial for happy."

"It's not that, just the other day I found him passed out on school grounds."

Then the girls came along...

"The whole gang's here," Rainbow said. "I'm so pumped for the Halloween Bash."

"I'm pretty sure, your only exitced because you want to see Duke in a cheerleader costume," Applejack said.

"Come on, AJ, haven't we all been through enough torment from the guy," Rainbow said then something caught her eyes. "What the buck is that?"

All seven of them, look up and Mistress Mayhem leaped building to building.

"Time to act." Sunset thought to herself. "Oh crud, to much sugar I need to go the bathroom, later."

"Maybe that time of eating sugar at the Starswril Festival has really got to her," Pinkie said.

At nearby lab, Mistress Mayhem who was now wearing purple jumpsuit broke through the window.

"Ahm the old stomping grounds."

"Sassy? Is that you?" A worker asked as he saw her.

"Dr. Weksi, how nice to see you again. Now perhaps you will recall that when I was last employed here, I was at work on a prototype long-term power source."

"The Megalo Pack...but..."

"My work! And yet when I departed, you took possession of it. Now in hindsight, does that seem quite fair?"

"It's in R&D. Vault 8!"

"My lucky number!"

Mayhem headed straight to R&D and saw the device.

"Ah, like an old friend," She exclaimed as she try to grab it.

"Gangway! Coming through!" Solar came by and grabbed it.

"Solar!" Mayhem grumbled.

"How it's going, love the new look," Solar said.

"Hand over the device this instant."

"I'm thinking no."

"Then you invite yourself to your doom. Your enclosed space, hero," Then her hair form spinning buzzsaws.

"Where can you hide?"

Solar avoided all of them then fired a blast of magic at her stunning her eyes allowing Solar passed.

"You will pay for this indignity!"

Meanwhile Solar appeared right behind of Dr. Weski.

"Hi. In a hurry. Being chased by hairy girl who wants this. What is it?"

"The Megalo-Pack. A Power source. Holds a sizeable charge for years at a time."

"Thanks, you should hide now!" Solar thank then jumped out of the building which Mistress Mayhem right behind her.

"So Miss Hairy needs power, which explains why she took off so fast. So just play keep away until her tank is on empty. No sweat."

One of Mayhem's hair tenetalce strikes at her sending crahsing right at the middle of the fair.

"Okay, maybe a little sweat," Solar quickly got up.

"Everybody run!" Pinkie exclaimed as the people ran away just Mistress Mayhem showed up.

"And now, back to our regualry scheduled chaos." Solar headed to right to her.

As such Mistress Mayhem caused chaos, admist of all Twilight tripped over and was right in the villains path then Solar came by and grabbed her and took her to the group.

"Thanks for the company. I'd like to stay but I got a doctor's appointment."

Then Solar got strucked by Mistress Mayhem and right into the hammer game.

"Double M, your bedside manner stinks."

She led her straight to the ferrris wheel, avoiding all of her attacks.

"Hand it over or suffer the conquesces of your stupidity."

Then a candy apple was on her face.

"Oh, you sweet talker, you," As Solar used magic and hurled several candied apples on her.

The hairy villain smashed the stand forcing Solar to dodged then roded on a ice cream cart then fire a flame blast right a her sending her right on the ground. Mistress Mayhem quicky got up and grabbed the closet object around and chuck at her but Solar dodged it by blasting it.

"Don't Solar. I got your back!" Duke prepared to attack.

"No!"

Just before Mayhem had a chance, Solar grabbed him just as she was about to attack.

"Apprecaite the help, fanboy, but keep clear. You're not pretty enough to save twice."

"Right. Smack her one for me," Duke said as he ran along.

Mistress smashed her then grabbed Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy!" Rainbow and the others shouted.

"I should've seen it sooner, Solar Eclipse. You're weak," As Mistress tighten her grip on Fluttershy. "You can't bear to see anyone hurt."

"I could learn to make an exception."

Solar fired two orbs at her but she avoided her.

"And your meager thought process is so transpeanrt. Stall until the power runs out. But this one has another hour or so at the very least. And think of all the damage I can do in one hour, starting with the girl."

Mistress led her straight to the rollercoaster.

"Choose! The device or the girl?" She asked her as smashed through it and drops her at the hole but the nature girl holds on for dear life.

"No one uses my friends for a barigning chip." Solar thoughted to herself. "You want it, then fecth!"

She threw on the other side of the fair making her chase after.

"Please somebody help me!" Fluttershy cried as started to lose her grip and fall.

As she was fallen, Solar grabbed her landed her on ground. Then head out of there and straight to the villain.

"Finallly, it's mine!" Mistress Mayhem said as holded the Megalo Pack.

"But you won't get the chance to use as long I'm conscious," Solar came right at her.

"A scenario easily reminded."

One of her hair tentacles grabs her by the leg and slams her on the ground then picked her.

"As I was saying..."

She dropped her then took out the currently and was about insert the new one then Solar used her new Solar-Signal to blinded her then used her magic to grabbed both of them the kick at the chest the then use her magic and hurled right into the broken down ride knocking her out.

Moments later the police arrived and just put the handcuff on her.

"Sheesh, what happened here?" Sunset came by.

"What happened was some hairy villain came by cause trouble here and grabbed Fluttershy, then Solar Eclipse not only rescued her but also kick her butt," Rainbow exclaimed. "And where were you?"

"After I finish powered my nose, I ran and hide from whatever that thing is?" Sunset replied.

"Apart from that, we really need to talk to Travis. I'm worried about him," Twilight came in.

"Yeah but one question where is he?"

At the Mercer penthouse, Darell and Tiger Claw were talking.

"I'm talking about the Emeralnd Elf. The nutjob's attacking Mr. X's operations," Tiger Claw told him. "And far as we can tell, he's using a lot of Mercer tech."

"My tech has been stolen. I've lost my top scientist, my lab's destroyed and my projects are risk," Darell showed him the footage of the Emerland Elf breaking in. "Why would I be behind all that?"

"Okay. you got a point. But the Elf..."

"Is a common enemy to both our lines of work. And our common goal must be to unmask him before it's too late."
