Sunset Shimmer: Hero of Canterlot City

It was a crisp evening in the city of Canterlot, where a Solar Eclipse was thrown out of Canterlot Tower.

"This is not how my night was supposed to go," Solar said and popped back in. "Okay, where's the dude with nasty tude."

Solar dodged two laser shots there she faced someone who wearing an elf costume with diamond gear and was on a glider.

"Present and accounted for!" He said as threw an emerald bomb at her but she dodged it just explodes and then threw two emerald shards but only to tear a part of her suit.

"Hey, did tear your suit...whatever name is, leave the threads, that's an order!"

"Ah, but the Emerland Elf doesn't take orders from insects, he swats them with style!"

"First of all, I dress like the sun-Oh horseapples!"

Emerland Elf threw a bomb at her only for Solar to use her magic and hoisted her into the air. Then she hurled everything at him only to be blasted down.

"Do you have an invitation, Eclipse? Otherwise, I'm afraid I'm going to ask to leave."

"Why, leave now, not when Table 7 needs more appetizers," Solar replied. "How can everything go from sweet to sour in one night?"

Couple of hours before...

"Party time!" Pinkie screamed as she fired her party cannon that blasted off confetti.

"How much energy is inside of her?" Twilight asked.

"Most of us, have known not to question her," Flash said.

"Point taken, who got winning for King and Queen of the Formal."

"Not sure, but where's Travis?"

"Over there with Duke and the others," Twilight said while seeing him. "I'm glad he decides to play football, but there's that part of me that something can go wrong."

"No way," Flash Sentry gasped as he saw something.

"Is everything okay...holy mackerel!" Twilight exclaimed as she and Flash saw Sunset with Devon Daniels.

"Ahh, I win, Dynamite!" Rainbow exclaimed. "I can't wait to see you and the guys dressed as cheerleaders."

"Not that's odd?" Jade came in.

"What's odd?"

"Has anyone seen Travis? I haven't seen him."

"Last I checked he went to his locker."

Meanwhile at Mercer Corp

"Uh, is anyone there?" Sassy Saddles asked then got started by her looking at the mirror. "Oh, look at yourself, Sassy. You're afraid of your own reflection. The next thing you know you'll be seeing gremlins in the machinery."

Suddenly, The Emerland Elf had stolen the glider.

"Stop, whatever you are, that is Mercer technology," Sassy exclaimed as a duck from Elf's pursued and crashed through the window.

At broken down house...

"Why did we have to bring the safe here? I could have cracked it open?" A thug said.

"The cops we would have cracked you open. Cops or Solar Eclipse," Another thug told. "Look, Tiger Claw's waiting for Mr.X's cut. Screw the crowbar, blow it up."

"Oh, blow yourself up."

The door was blasted showing the Emerland Elf.

"Did someone mention explosives?" He asked.

"Get the freak!"

One thug jumped right at him, but he finger blasted her, then another tried to punch him but grabbed him and tossed him aside. The remainder was about to use his crowbar but Elf pulled his sword at pointed it right at him.

"I meant, get the freak anything he wants."

"What I want is your undying loyalty. Or the dying kind. The Emerland Elf is nothing but flexible."

Elf planted a miniature bomb on the safe that exploded and he tossed the sack to one of them.

"Thanks for the help, but we work for Mr. X. We switch sides and we might as well tie the toe tags ourselves."

"I'm good with knots, too. As for Mr. X, this party is over."

Much Later at the Canterlot Tower.

"May I have your attention," Xavier was on stage. "As most of you know, I am your host, Xavier Hansen. Thank you all for coming to support the Hansen Dynamic Youth Center."

Then the people clapped as well Plantuim Writer and his son Galatic Star.

"Some shindig, huh, Galatic," Platutim said.

"It's great, dad, but to be honest, I was looking forward to it just being you, me, and a rare steak."

"Oh the heck, Xavier's got enough of the newspaper's money. We can be at Edward's in 88 seconds."

Just as were going into the elevator, they were by a goon in an elf mask.

"Sorry's elevator is out of order," He armed his gun at them then two more came from the stairs.

"Stairs, too, of course, you could try a window."

Then the Emerland Elf crashed through a window.

"Oops, too late."

"Hello. Good evening. Bonjour. I am the Emerland Elf, and I am looking for Mr.X." '

"Sir, I don't know who are, but..."

"Of course, you don't. That's the whole point of the mask, genius. But I know who you are, crime lord. So step down, or I start sharing secrets."

"You're making a big mistake. Security, this man is obviously troubled. Take care of him."

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, still hiding behind a group of thugs, are we?"

Two of them fire their taserline at him but instead, Emerald Elf grabbed and reverse the charge and shock them instead.

Oh, he swings through the air, dishing all kinds of fear. This daring Elf on the big chandelier.

As Elf was singing, Galatic quickly disarmed Elf goon's gun at aimed at him.

"Dad, move! We have to get these people...AHH!" He got zapped by Elf's fingerblast.

"Now, now. Stay put or else," He threatened him.

"There's no need to threaten my guests."

"There is if I want witnesses."

"Kid, are alright?" Plantium Writer asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay."

Plantium Writer reached for his earpiece and called Thunder Prism.

Yeah? Okay, slow down, A emerald what now?

"Elf. Emerald Elf. No reporter, I'll cover the story myself, but get me Shimmer, this is right up her alley, and also call the police."

At Canterlot High most of the students were on the dance floor Sunset and Rarity were talking.

"I still can believe you manage to get Devon Daniels to companies you to the Formal."

"Well, Rainbow suggested that and of course worked the courage to ask him to dance with me," Sunset replied as her phone rang. "Just when I thought I can have a night to myself, I get a call from work. Sorry, Rarity I have to go."

Back at the Canterlot Tower.

"What do you hope to accomplish tonight?" Hansen asked.

"So the whole wanting to kill you and take over empire thing was not clear? Well, duh," Elf said with a remark.

"Uh, excuse me," Solar came through the window that Elf crashed through. "Can I come this way or do break my own window."

"Solar Eclipse!"

"Your timing is impeccable."

"So, your latest super jerk pulled a fast one on you, Graves?"

"I don't know who he is yet, but he's not in my employ."

"That's okay, I can pretend that he's yours while trouncing him. I still feel warm inside."

"I'm standing right here!" Elf spoke. "Talk about rude much."

"Oh, were my manners? Here you come to terrorize the Grave and I didn't say thank you. The only excuse I have is your holding innocent people hostage. It's confusing to my solarized brian."

Then Elf flew up to her.

"Yes, quite the puzzler, but I hold the solution. You and I join forces. We could accomplish a lot with our powers. We could rule Canterot City!"

"No can do, I made it clear not to align with anyone who wears green. Or completely psychotic."

"Your loss. Of Life!"

Elf's finger blasted her, but Solar dodged it, then used her magic and send two chairs right at him only to be blasted to bits then Elf lunged kick out of the window.

"The moment you all been waiting for," Principal Celestia was on stage. "The time has come to announce this year's king and queen of the formal. Ms.Luna would you take it away."

"This year's king of the Formal is...Flash Sentry! And for our queen is...Twilight Sparkle!"

Both Twilight and Flash got on stage and were given their crowns then at moment they kissed each other.

"Aww." Everyone cooed at them.

Emerland Elf threw everything at Solar, then the sun-themed hero got on his glider then tighten her grip on him.

"On want to ride share? Keep our guest's comfy boys. I'll be back in a quick minute."

He flew out and started to a barrel roll.

"Seriously, Elfy, do you have a license for this thing?" Solar asked then pushed off not before alleviating herself. "Take that, gravity! Yeah haw!"

Then Elf bashed her with his gilder.

"You know the old saying, if you can't join'em, beat'em."

"Took the words right out of my mouth!"

Solar shot them all down with her magic.

"Is that felony so?"

"I certainly hope so, this little elf wouldn't caught dead committing a misdemeanor," then he threw a bomb at her.

"Nice banter," Solar doged it. "But the aim needs works."

"Well practice makes perfect."

"Keep telling yourself that!"

Emerland Elf fired a bomb from his glider that Solar caught with her magic and send it back only for him to avoid it then Solar punched him right off it.

"And that's for making me protect Gravestone."

Elf backed straight into a building, he then did a backflip over top of it, then landed on his gilder.

"Okay, I have to admit that was epic, but playtime's over!"

Just as Elf draws his sword, Solar kick him right at the face then grabbed him slammed to the ground then trap him in a bubble just as Elf was laughing.

"Now what's so funny?"

"Just the special brimstone emerland mine I left behind as a present for Mr. Hansen. Any moment now, the creme de la creme of Canterlot City is going to paint the town red. Well the ballroom anyway."'

After hearing him said, Solar teleported herself back there.

....

"Uh, what are we supposed to do?"

"Keep everyone in here until the Elf gets back."

"Or maybe clear out before his bomb goes off," Solar appears in the ballroom. "Move!"

Then the Elf goons fired there their lasers at her then Solar used her magic and swatted them.

"What are you doing? You have to get going. Bad guys as well."

"We work for the Elf."

"Every single blasted fragment of you."

"Your bluffing."

"Is that a risk you're willing to take? Especially when you've already taken so many," Hansen implied the Elf goons escape.

"Everyone takes the stairs! If the bomb goes off, the elevators won't be safe," Galatic took charge then everyone headed out.

"Okay, if I was evil emerald, where would I be?" Solar asked then saw Gravestone searching the place. "I'm surprised you're sticking around?"

"MY party, my mess."

"Solar, the chandelier!" Galactic came back and told her.

"Thanks, now go!" Solar headed to the chandelier grabbed the bomb and tossed it out of the window just as it exploded.

Much later...

"Congrats, Twilight on you and Flash on becoming King and Queen of the Formal," Sunset said over the phone.

"Sorry you had to miss it, I didn't know what came over me when I kissed Flash on the lip, I mean the whole school knew that were a couple, but that was breathtaking."

"It's called being in a moment, listen I got to get some sleep to see you tomorrow," Sunset ended the call. "From Raptor, Surge, Discharge, Desert Doom, Iron Bull, and now added the Emerland Elf. Man, I have a lot of bad guys who want me dead. I need to find out who he is before someone gets really hurt by that manic."
