Dull was walking inside the Recycling Plant, looking for more resources along with the plastic. He stopped to see enormous pits of another resource other than plastic “Glass…” He said Honey and Ryo appeared with Honey’s summons; 5 of her wolf pups and 5 of her Kitty summons.

“Hey, what did you find?” Asked Ryo as she and Honey were curious about it.

“Glass.” He said as they both looked to see tons and tons of glass shards. They both backed away.

“Yikes… I know how dangerous glass shards are, but with your powers, I can see many things being made from them.” Said Honey.

“Yeah, like bottles, decorations, dildos.” She said happily. Both Dull and Honey turned to her with glares. “WHAT?! It’s my little kink since with the destruction of our city, my collection of sex toys might be gone if those flying lizards of death destroy our apartment.” She said while looking at Dull and Honey.

“I don’t think Dull will make you one out of glass.” Said Honey, “You have the thighs of a wrestler. It will shatter inside you.” She explained as Kyo paused and gulped in fear.

“Shards in me… cutting me from the inside until I bleed to death… fuck my sexy thighs of death.” She said, looking at Dull, “I guess having the real thing is better than a fake.” She said as Dull narrowed his eyes on her.

“Tell me; how long did you realize that?” Asked Dull.

“After screwing with you 6 times.” She said with a grin.

“Keep that lust-filled mind of yours away from the kids. I mean Tony may be the only kid we saved, but if I remember correctly, there’s an orphanage at least 30 miles away from here.” Said Dull as they both looked at each other.

“Those orphans…” Said Honey as Kyo looked worried.

“They won’t survive within a week or at worst, 5 hours.” She said as Dull swung his mallet on the shards as they all turned into glass cubes as he collected the resources. “We need to save the survivors.” They all ran out as they went back to their base.

Back at Base
Dull told his friends and the other survivors about going to an orphanage to rescue any children. “Dull… We’re with you.” Said Bloody as they looked at Tony, who was sleeping on his mother’s lap. “We can’t let Tony be alone and the only kid.” She said as Vizin walked up.

“I’m not a mother, but children are the future and given this hell, which is now our world. Saving them is a must.” She said and turned to everyone. “Besides, I don’t like the idea of children being forced to fight to live. We’ll have to make it easier for them by capturing monsters for them and have them practice on those Iron Scarecrows Dull made. Goblins at best, but we got nothing to use as nets.” She said as Dull pulled out some chains.

“I got chains but nothing to make nets out of. I doubt chain nets let them be alive.” He said as when to their car. “Are there any auto stores nearby the orphanage?” He asked as they all shrugged their shoulders.

“Why do you need to know about any Auto shops nearby?” Asked Cookie as Green walked up to her.

“Because Dull can make more caravans.” He said as Dull looked at them.

“We can’t depend on only one for the rest of this hellhole.” Explained Dull as he looked at the sky. “Especially from threats from above.” He said as they remember the wyverns and fear what they can do.

“We better go in a group. Whoever wants to stay, protect the base.” Said Green as they all prepared.

10 Minutes Later
Dull started the caravan as his party joined him; Green, Bloody, Max, Specter, Honey & Kyo, as those who join him are Wimpy, Gourd, Suzie & Song Note. Wimpy joined to protect as defense as Gourd and Suzie joined in to give aid to any of the injured as Song Note will give some stat boost to anyone who is willing to fight. “We’ll be back with survivors. Do not let anyone in! We can’t be sure if they’re friend or foe.” He said as Vizin gave him the thumbs up.

“Be sure to plan any fights.” Said Bloody “We can’t risk anyone dying.” They left as the people in the base decided to plan an expedition to gather anything salvageable.

20 Minute Drive
The group had to stop to let the Wyverns pass above them and ambush a pack of orcs and goblins that were at war with each other Honey unleashed 2 of her Butterfly summons to place them asleep and they went to kill them in their sleep.

Bloody used her [Butcher] skill on the corpses and collected their meat and bones as Dull helped place them in the trash bags. They looked around to find any buildings they could salvage anything from it as Dull saw a mattress store. “I found some beds we can take.” He said as they saw a mattress store and smiled. “Gather the biggest beds.” Said Dull “We don’t know how many kids will be there?” He said as they all march towards the mattress store and be on a watch for monsters hiding as Honey sends her mouse summons to examine for hidden enemies. They returned to her to let her know it’s safe as they each help each other take the King-, Queen- and Full-size beds to an improved cart Dull made and more to add.

“Medical supplies!” He said, “Sleeping medicine, bandages, and laxatives!” He yelled as everyone looked at him with confused looks. “Uh… to poison some monsters with the runs.” He said. Dull laughed at that idea as they looked at him.

“I love it.” He said, “We’ll use it on the boss if he knows magic.” Dull marched to the door, opened it to enter as he went to grab some medicine for the base. Gourd and the others catch up as they collect all types of medicine, even sleeping medicine as Honey grabbed some… tampons and birth control. They all placed the medicine in a cart as they climbed in the caravan as they drove off to the orphanage. Dull drove around as they made some stops to salvage a thrift store. They collected some rugs, blankets, furniture, toys, old clothes, and movies old by a few years and decades of VHS & DVD. They even collected some old smart TVs for the movie players. They covered the stuff with drapes from the store to them up.

“Who would steal a bunch of junk?” Asked Kyo.

“It depends on how they are used.” Said Green. “People could use them to lure people for their deaths in this apocalypse.”

“Temptation is one of the obsessions people want.” Said Bloody as Dull and the others used hooks to hold the drapes on the carts.

“If people know a location with electricity, food and housing, they’ll be drawn like flies and parasites.” Said Dull as they climbed back in the caravan and drove off. Dull stopped at an orphanage as it was a bit damaged and had blood stains on the walls and steps with some corpses of monsters and people.

“Shit.” Said Honey as they all climbed off as Dull gave everyone the Tire Shields.

“Be careful. We don’t know if there are any monsters inside.” Said Dull. Wimpy walked with 2 shields in his arms as a screen appeared before everyone.

“Hold your fire!” yelled a female voice as Wimpy backed away. The group saw a 50-year-old nun appear from the door holding a clutch under her left arm and a musket in right.

“Is that a gun?!” Yelled Dull. The nun aimed it at Dull, but her eyes widened.

“Dusk Sparkle?” She said, Dull groaned hearing that name, but some were shocked to hear that.

“You’re related to Twilight Sparkle?!” Yelled Wimpy. Dull glared at the group of people who didn’t know Dull’s real name.

“I’ve severed my ties with that toxic family, and that’s no longer my name.” Said Dull. He looked at the nun. “Mother Daycare. That is no longer my name, but it is good to see that you’re still alive.” He said as Mother Daycare looked around to see no monsters.

“Quickly, enter now!” She said as the group entered the orphanage. As they entered, they saw some damages and worse bloodstains. “Don’t worry. That’s monster’s blood, not human’s blood. I refuse to allow those monsters to hurt my children.” She said, She took them to a large room where they saw at least 10 children between the ages of 8 and 12 with staff and bows & arrows and a 15-year-old girl who had bandages on her hands. “I’m very grateful that you’re here, Dull. I thought we were doomed to how the people are now acting. They lose their minds and care for only power. It’s such a disgust to witness.” She said as the 15-year-old walked up.

“I saw some people were given threats and killed people other than the monsters.” She said, “I heard them saying something about killing people is worth more gold.” Dull’s party, but he was horrified and disgusted.

“Hmmm…” They looked at Dull.

“What do you mean, ‘Hmmm…’?” Asked Max as Dull looked at them.

“I had a dark feeling about how people would find a darker way to level up.” He said, which made everyone look frightened. “I mean, one day we’ll have to fight psychopaths and killers.” He said, which made sense in an apocalypse. “Also Mother Daycare, we came to aid you and the kids.” He said as the girl crossed her arms.

“How can we trust him?” She said “I mean he could be-”

“I hate friendship when those cultists get too arrogant because of how powerful the Magic of Crapship has gotten.” He said, which baffled the girl.

“Never thought I would hear a family member from the Rainbooms say that.” She said Mother Daycare placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder.

“Knux. This is the man I told you about. The Sparkle that left his toxic family.” She said,

“HIM?!” Yelled Knux “The Sparkle that rebels against that magic? I fail to see how?” Said Knux as Dull snarled.

“I never thought I would have to show this to anyone.” He said which confused them as he revealed his grandmother’s geode from around his neck. All were shocked as Mother Daycare smiled.

“I’m happy to see Miss Sparkle chose to give her geode to the right wielder.” She said, Dull’s eyes widened as he looked at the geode.

“Did grandma tell you to give it to me?” He asked.

“No… I told her about giving her geode to someone who truly deserves it. That sister of yours isn’t someone who I refuse to see to have that geode.” She said, Dull snarled hearing about his sister.

“Like the cold hands of death I’ll let her get it, but I don’t know if she’ll be able to use it.” He said as they looked at him.

“Wait… if you had that, does that mean you have telekinesis?” Asked Green.

“Hell no. I need friendship for that, and you know how anti I am about it.” Explained Dull. “Also this geode won’t work for her. It said the effects only work for the true bearer.” He said as his eyes widened. “Damn it…” He said.

“You’re a true bearer, aren’t you?” Asked Kyo

“If that psycho of a sister knows about it, she’ll kill me for it, along with the Cult of Friendship.” Said Dull as the others walked up to him.

“Then we’ll take them all down.” Said Bloody. “They’ve been hurting people who refuse to accept friendship for far too long.” She said Mother Daycare looked mad.

“I agree.” She said, “They threaten to hurt my children unless I teach them the lessons of friendship and rat others who refuse to accept friendship.” Max looked disgusted.

“They threaten to harm children. Those sick bastards.” She said “It also explains why the chief refused to arrest them and why whenever I arrest them, they get released. He’s one of them.” Said Max as she punched the wall.

“Karma will get them.” Said Kyo. “The monsters might kill them since guns don’t work but…” She looked at Daycare’s musket. “How can that gun work?” She asked.

“I grabbed a card with a man holding a gun by accident. I was trying to grab the card with the priest but now… I’m a [Gunslinger] with 2-Stars ★ ★.” Knux clutches her hands.

“I’m a [Striker] with 3-Stars ★★★. Martial Arts are my weapons and if I use a weapon, my skills won’t work, and my strength is useless.” She said as the other kids were 3 [Archer], 2 [Mage], 2 [Priest], a [Scout], a [Blacksmith] & a [Farmer].

For the kid who was a [Scout], has a skill that lets her see 5 miles away clearly. She used her skills to see monsters on the ground, the air, and bad people to avoid or defeat. The young boy who picked the [Blacksmith] card made any new weapons to help her friends and create some arrows for his friends who are [Archer] and a pair of twins who are [Priest] can heal others, remove curses on people and become invincible for 10 seconds when they slay a monster. Mother Daycare told her that her job can allow her to use guns which made some a bit angry, mostly Max since her gun was left at her station. Dull looked at them and smiled “Mother Daycare… Please, join us at our base with defenses. We’re gathering any survivor who wants to fight to live, I know we’re sinners to your eyes and you want the kids to be with good remodels-”

“Dusk… Dull. I may be a nun but when I become one, I made a vow to protect all kids without any parents.” Said Daycare “I would be honored to join you. Kids?” She asked them as they looked a bit worried.

“We have another kid at the base with his mother but he’s the only kid there. We were hoping you’ll be his friends.” Said Dull as the kids looked at him and thought about how lonely that kid is since he doesn’t know if his friends are still alive. Kunx walked up to him.

“I hope there’s food, at least.” She said as they nodded as some went to their rooms. “Gather all the clothes we can find! We’re going to relax for the day.” She said as they all gathered their stuff as Dull helped Mother Daycare.

“Don’t worry Mother Daycare. We got a [Doctor] and a [Herbalist] that can help with that injured leg.” He said as Gourd helped her to the Caravan.

10 Minutes Later
All the kids and Mother Daycare are on the Caravan as the young [Scout] named Ginger looked around and the sky. “We’re safe for now.” She said as Dull started the vehicle as they hid as they returned to base, but what they didn’t know was someone was spying on them and smirked. Dull drove while running over some goblins as they attacked the orcs to raise their levels again.

Back at base
The gates opened as they entered. The other survivors came to greet them, as they were surprised to see a nun and children. Tony was happy to see more kids as Dull and the others brought in what they salvage as Dull, and a kid named Ricky had a synergy when they worked together, and other synergy made with other groups.

Nightfall, Main Base
They made some new changes to the base, its defenses, and resources. Dull & Ricky manage to make the cannons be able to fire much quickly with less resources, stronger walls, can increase the strength of others’ weapons with the Mana Stones from the monsters Bloody collected and managed to make a new base out of the Recycling Plant (Sub Base) for others; they made some rooms for couples and groups, a recreation room to watch movies or play games, plus a replica of the Caravan & a electric generator that can store 3 days’ worth of electricity. Tony’s mom made more meals for everyone as Dull told them not to ask where the meat came from. Green, Simply and the kid farmer, Vinny can harvest more food, grow more food, and create more kinds of seeds as Honey help them create a field for them by having one of her summons dig up a large field outside to grow more food as Dull & Ricky made a greenhouse much smaller than Green’s which he helped. Knux and other orphans played with Tony which made them happy. Even Tony’s mom was happy to see her son happy. Dull and Tony were panting as they both gave thumbs up as they got some EXP for the upgrades and new changes to the base made a lot of people happy. Dull looked at his storage as he sighed “No more metal resources.” He said as he looked at Ricky who was making something in his spare time. “Apparently [Blacksmith] can create ores while my job doesn’t.” He said as he looked at the bases and their defenses. “Ricky and I did our best. We don’t have to worry about ground attacks but for air attacks, is still a problem.” He said as he saw Mother Daycare walking without her crutch. “Mother Daycare.”

“Just Daycare now. I’m grateful to Mr. Gourd and Suzie. I no longer feel the pain in my leg and no longer need that crutch.” She said as she bent her right leg. “I’m also happy to see that you upgrade this thing.” She said as she pulled out her musket “The reload time maybe 5 seconds less but at least this thing won’t get damaged after I used it to hit some goblins in the face.” She looked at Dull and looked concerned. “Is there any information you wish to know?” Dull nodded as she pulled her smartphone. “A blue QR Code appeared near the Train Station 60 miles from the Orphanage but there is also another one close from here.” She said as she pointed out to a radio tower on a building at least 5 blocks away from the Main Base. “Scan it with your phone, an app will be installed on your phone. A community App will be used to communicate with other survivors as all phone service and internet is down.” She explained as Dull snarled.

“So that explains why all email websites have disappeared.” Said Dull, he looked at her “Anything else I should know?”

“It takes 1000 gold to write a post.” She said as Dull nearly lost it.

“Fucking system. Nothing is free.” He said Ginger ran to Daycare and hugged her but looked scared.

“What is wrong deary?” She asked as Ginger pointed out from the base.

“Bad people are coming!” She yelled in fear, Dull & Daycare looked shocked.

“Go tell the kids to hide inside!” Order Daycare as Ginger ran to the kids as Dull and Daycare ran to their bases to warn the survivors.

“BATTLE STATIONS EVERYONE!!!” Yelled Dull as the others turned to him. “GINGER SAID A GROUP IS HEADING TOWARDS THIS BASE!!!” The survivors looked scared as he turned to the group.

“Those who wish to fight! Join us but those who wish to defend, head inside to protect the others!” Yelled Max as some went inside but some stayed, Tony summoned his Hob Goblins, but they were wearing armor to cover their bodies and faces by a request from Dull & Ricky in case some people would try to kill them. Dull handed out many Tire Shields as the synergy activated.

“Prepare to attack on my command!” Yelled Dull as Max, Specter, Green, Bloody, Honey and Ryo joined him “We’ll negotiate with them. If they’re the enemy, prepare to attack them and if they’re members of the Cult of Friendship, kill them without mercy.” He said, Bloody grabbed him by the shoulder.

“Hold off until they speak of it.” Said Bloody as all 7 of them came out to meet the group as 5 cars appeared as people came out as 20 people came out as one man walked towards Dull.

“Greeting fellow survivors.” Said an arrogant looking man as Dull didn’t like him already. “We are fellow survivors in need of shelter.” He said Dull’s expression didn’t change.

“Really? May I ask how you came across our base?” He asked which made the man stay still calm.

“One of our members saw one of your vehicles driving around, and we weren’t sure if the monsters were intelligent enough to use vehicles.” He said, Dull gripped his mallet. “We wish to join in living with your shelter as we are to work together to survive.” As he talked and talked about his and his group’s needs, some mice were running around their feet, they didn’t notice them as the mice went to inspect the vehicles.

“Are you?” Asked Dull. “I mean survival is important but…” He was holding his word as the mice went to Honey, she walked closely to Dull, whispering into his ear. “I don’t know. What do you have to offer?” He asked which made them backed away but the one speaking.

“Offer?!” He yelled “THIS IS SURVIVAL OF THE HUMAN RACE!!! What is there to offer?!” He yelled angrily as they narrowed their eyes at him, he cleared his throat. “I apologize but we are in need of help, now… what do you say?” The man reached out his hand as Dull looked at him.

“Alright.” He said, which made the survivors look at him as the group in front of him cheered “If you show me the contents of your vehicles, we’ll let you in.” He said which made the other group jump a bit “What’s wrong? Afraid we’ll judge you?” Said Dull, he narrowed his eyes. The man of the group started to twitch as he charged at Dull.

“DIE!” He yelled as Dull pulled out a spare cannon he had in storage.

“Die yourself.” He said as the cannon fired, he was sent flying to one of the cars he drove on, and crash landed on the roof as Honey screamed.

“THEY CAN’T BE TRUSTED! THERE ARE CORPSES IN THEIR TRUNKS!” She screamed as the others prepared to fight as the man got back up and killed his own ally.

“What the fuck?!” Said Green, they witness him drinking his friend’s blood as he smirked showing two long fangs.

“Vampire.” Said Dull, the vampire attacked Dull as he and he clashed.
