My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers Plus

Several days have passed since the flag carrying contest. And what's more, Silver Spoon had taken a trip away from Ponyville for spring break.

"A whole week without school. And what's more, Silver Platter isn't around to try and get on our bad side." Apple Bloom said.

"We should really take this time to see if we can find out cutie marks before school resumes." Diamond Tiara said.

"I'm liking this idea. Plus, if we all get them during the week, combined with my flying, we'll REALLY impress Silver Spoon. I really want to show her that the psychotic colt once known as Silver Platter couldn't even keep us down." Scootaloo said.

"You think that'll stop her from being our rival though?" Nyx asked.

"Probably not, to be honest with you, but I think that would allow her to be our friend despite being our rival." Sweetie Belle said.

"That'th a great idea. I'll help where I can." Twist said.

"Hmm...actually, I was hoping that, maybe one of us is also good at making candy. Twist, do you know of any other candies besides candy canes?" Diamond Tiara said.

"Ooooo, I'm liking where this line of thinking is going. That would be something. What if all of us end up with confectionary cutie marks of some kind? With our combined talents, we could rule the candy world." Scootaloo said, a little maliciously.

"...You scare me sometimes Scootaloo, and that worries me." Nyx said.

Five hours later at sugar cube corner the only two fillies who weren't covered in dough were Nyx who didn't even participate to begin with and Twist who had ended up making lots of candy canes.

Still, there was one thing that was going on: Diamond Tiara had gently asked Nyx if the alicorn filly would like to help her which the alicorn filly did so happily.

"I still had fun, even if I didn't bake anything. Was nice helping out a version of Diamond Tiara whose actually nice." Nyx said.

"I really want to know...was the other me THAT bad?" Diamond Tiara asked.

"You have no idea." Nyx said.

"Well I don't want that for myself. What I want for myself is help others, to lead them to be their best selves. And I want to do the same with my friends as they did stick up for me against the psychotic colt. Helping them get their cutie marks, that's the way I want to help them. Won't matter if I get a cutie mark before they do, I'll never stop being their friend and helping them find their special talents." Diamond Tiara said. "Because that's the kind of leader I want to be: The one that helps her friends and her peers out no matter what." She added. Suddenly there was a brief flash causing Nyx to gasp.

"D-diamond Tiara...your cutie mark..." Nyx said. Diamond Tiara looked and gasped. Nyx knew that Diamond Tiara normally had a diamond tiara for a cutie mark, only this one was also surrounded by some kind of shield.

"Oh my gosh...it's my cutie mark..." Diamond Tiara said.

"I think...it came about because you want to help others out as both a friend and a leader at the same time. You want to help others find their special talents, and you wish to do it by being a leader." Nyx said.

"This...this is so cool! Now I know I can help my friends find their special talents; now more than ever before!" Diamond Tiara she added.

The next day after some talking with Spoiled Rich and even Filthy Rich, there was one thing to be agreed on: No cutecenera until all of them earned their cutie marks, and permission to use her special talent of wanting to help others find their special talents to help her friends find theirs.

"I'm glad your mother wants you to help us." Scootaloo said.

"And you're still a cutie mark crusader Diamond Tiara as far as we're concerned." Sweetie Belle said.

"You girls are my friends. I won't stop hanging out with you just because I got my cutie mark first." Diamond Tiara said.

"You should never have doubted yerself Deets. But don't worry, we're sure we're not too far behind you." Apple Bloom said.

"I know your not. I can't be much longer now." Diamond Tiara said.

Dear Princess Celestia...

I know it's been a while since you've gotten a friendship report, but we as the Cutie Mark Crusaders felt that this was something you'd love to know.

Despite Diamond Tiara being the first of us to receive a cutie mark, she wants to remain as our friend, so she can help us discover our cutie marks.

It goes to show that just because one friend has something the others don't yet, doesn't mean that the friendship is over.

If anything, it has only just begun.
