Author's Note

Ironically, I realized very quickly that Sunset being involved with the episode "Daring Don't" wouldn't change much if anything at all of the actual episode since it was mostly going to focus on Rainbow Dash and Daring Do. So, instead of going full on copy and paste with maybe a reference to Sunset here and there, I decided to go a very special route instead. Prepare for a storm as what follows is based on several fanfics, but most notably a fanfic AU I saw that took place shortly after the events of "Daring Don't". More details in blog post update coming soon.

Season 4: Short Episode 1 - It's Gotta be Daring

It's been only a week since there was probably a very big revaluation: That Daring Do was a real pony, and that she and A.K. Yearling were the same pony.

"I really hope that the Daring Do series is the only time I find one of my fictional stories to be actually non-fiction." Twilight said.

"To be fair, there are some creative liberties that are being taken. Even the latest book made some creative liberties. Though, the fact that the book title includes the words 'Ring of Destiny' makes me very, very curious." Sunset said. Suddenly...

"DARING DO IS YOUR WHAT?!"

"...That sounded like Scootaloo, Night Wing, and the entire Shadowbolt Squadron all at once." Sunset said.

Indeed, outside was Scootaloo, Night Wing, Thunderlane, and the rest of the Shadowbolts all fainted upon learning that Rainbow Dash's real mother was Daring Do and that Daring Do was real at the exact same time.

What's more, Scootaloo also learned that she's still Rainbow Dash's sister, just her half-sister. They both still share the same biological father though.
