Author's Note

Two things before I start this up. First, for the attentive readers, you might be wondering where the hell the rest of the episodes are. Well as explained in the long description, it is important to read the original story for the full details even if the prologue chapters gave a brief summery: My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - Fimfiction

You might also notice that this is listed as "Season 3: Episode 7R". This is because the original plan was to have a Hyrule Warriors type of thing happen shortly after Nyx shows up. However, because the final battle of that was the original death to Astrotle Mondoli and plans have changed to have him die to Amiticia in "My Little Pony: The Changeling of Friendship - The Missing Episodes", the original version of "Season 3: Episode 7" is no longer canon. Which is why for this soft reboot of this story, this episode is being listed as "Season 3: Episode 7R" to signify that the episode itself is beeing rebooted and redone hence where that "R" comes form.

Season 3: Episode 7R - Nyx

The group was still in Canterlot, as Nyx was being processed.

"So if I'm correct, that medal you wear is known as the Equestria Silver Medal of Defense. Most military ponies go their whole careers without even so much as seeing one, let alone recieving it." Sunset said.

"That's because the medal is only for those who display extreme levels of willingness to defend others." Twilight said.

"Uh huh. My Celestia gave it to me after helping mommy; my Twilight; get the crystal heart. That plus the whole thing with the changelings and how I managed to stop Chrysalis's plan made me a sure in for getting this. Of course, wanting to defend other ponies is how I got my cutie mark." Nyx said.

"It's a shield. How iconic for Twilight's family, seeing as her brother's a royal guard and Flash Sentry over here has a shield thing for a Cutie Mark too." Sweetie Belle said.

"Now that you mention it..." Diamond Tiara said. At that moment, Nyx did a spit take with the orange juice she was drinking.

"What the...how the..." Nyx sputtered. She then noticed this Diamond Tiara didn't even have a cutie mark. "...What...on earth..." Nyx said.

"Yeah...I was trying not to say anything. I can't believe there's a whole version of me whose nothing but a complete bully. I have half a mind to want to punch her in the face. I get enough bullying from Silver Platter." Diamond Tiara said.

"...And Silver Spoon is male in this Equestria?" Nyx asked.

"Oh no. Silver Platter is Silver Spoon's coltfriend you could say. The two have been quite close." Scootaloo said.

"...The buck? I need your history now, asap." Nyx said.

"...This is going to take so much getting used to..." Nyx said, head on the table.

"...Well she's certainly picked up a few things from Twilight that's for sure. And I can say that what with being her surrogate big sister." Sunset said.

"That's also going to take some getting used to. But at it allows...wait...I probably shouldn't say anything..." Nyx said.

"What? What are you hiding suddenly?" Twilight asked.

"I really shouldn't say anything. In fact, I won't say anything more. Changeing the topic, so, he's from the human world huh? Chased Twilight all the way from there just because he fell in love with her personality." Nyx said. "That's cool." She added. Suddenly Celestia showed up.

"Well, I unfortunately have both good news and bad news. The bad news is, it seems to me like this Nyx was copied from the one from her original universe." Celstia said.

"So in other words, I don't have a way back. Which means I'm stuck here. Great..." Nyx said.

"...But the good news is, so long as you're wearing that medal, no ponies should attack you. Any pony who receives that medal is considered a war hero by default, even if they've never really seen any action on the frontlines." Celestia said.

"Thank goodness for that being the same. Having this medal really made my Diamond Tiara back off of me at the least, but it didn't stop her from attacking the rest of the crusaders." Nyx said.

"Really wish I could punch your version of me right now. You're making it really hard to not want to do that." Diamond Tiara said.

"Yeah, that's going to still take some getting used to." Nyx said.

"I know one thing for certain, if you were best friends with Apple Bloom and the rest of the CMC, then I'm sure you and I are going to be best friends too. After all, I'm not like the Diamond Tiara you've come to know." Diamond Tiara then put a front hoof in the air. "Up high!" Diamond Tiara said.

Nyx titled her head. "It's a thing she does when she wants to high hoof some pony." Apple Bloom explained.

"...Heh...this may take some getting used to, but I think this is a good first impression." Nyx said before high hoofing Diamond Tiara.

"Nice. Oof...I think I felt that..." Diamond Tiara said.

"Oh crap. I gotta remember, gotta cut back the strength with being an alicorn and everything." Nyx said.

"It's fine. I'll live. Plus, it was an accident. No harm no foul I always say." Diamond Tiara said, smiling.

"Diamond Tiara, are you still with your friends and that alicorn filly? The next train will be leaving soon." Spoiled Rich's voice carried from the room over.

"...Mom, I told you this already: We're going to be going by special train with Twilight and her friends." Diamond Taira yelled after her mother. "...I wonder if my mom was any different in your Equestria..." Diamond Tiara said to Nyx.

"No, her constant involvement with you was a pain to deal with. At least I know she's going to be a bit more mellow because of you not having a Cutie Mark yet." Nyx said.

Diamond Tiara smiled. "Thank you for not calling me a you-know-what just because I'm a Diamond Tiara." She said.

"You're not her. That much has already been made cleared." Nyx said.

"But your mother is right Diamond Tiara. We really should be going soon." Twilight said. "Coming with, Flash Sentry?" She asked.

"But of course. Got no where else to go." Flash Sentry said. "And by the way, this isn't a shield, it's a police badge." He informed Apple Bloom.

"Guess that's something from that human world huh?" Scootaloo asked. "Wonder if you ever met our counterparts..." She trailed off.

"The Canterlot Music Club you mean? Well you five were defiantly fairly popular with the younger students." Flash Sentry said. "But I wonder where this world's counterpart to Twist is?" He asked.

"Twist huh? It's like she's meant to hang out with us. We should probably ask at some point." Sweetie Belle said.

"Not a bad idea..." Apple Bloom said.

"Even though she's got a cutie mark now, we should still ask her." Diamond Tiara said.

"...Still going to have to get used to that." Nyx said.
