Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Blaze’s POV*

I’m glad that Yuki reunited with Lune and their daughters.

Danyelle spoke "It was not easy tracking Yuki down."

Luna spoke "*Carrying the two wooden statues* Well, we should get back to the others."

Haru spoke "Agreed."

We soon returned to Equestria as Luna looked at Baron and Luisa.

Haru ran off to be alone.

I ask "What's wrong with her?"

Luna spoke "A long story."

Danyelle spoke "It's obvious... Haru still has a crush on Baron but she knows it won't work out. He's a statue, she's an EeveeTwo."

Luna spoke "It’ll take some time for her head to clear."

Danyelle spoke "And explaining it to Jericho isn't gonna be easy."

“Let’s focus on the now, since the others are still getting ready for Ying Fortress.” I pointed out.

Jericho pops up suddenly.

Jericho asks "You girls seen my mate?"

Danyelle spoke "She’s uh… having a moment."

A random Houndoom got set flying since Myth had snapped.

Myth shouts "TOUCH MY KIT AGAIN AND I'LL LAY THE HURT ON YOU!"

Luna spoke "Yikes."

Jericho spoke "I do recall that either Orion or Asuna mentioned something about Myth's PTSD being connected to Houndooms."

"Um... Can we get going?" I asked.

Pigment had phased through Jericho, causing him to shudder.

Jericho spoke "Probably for the best."

Danyelle spoke "I just hope we don't end up with a Poison-type Mewtwo in the future."

"Don't jinx it." I pointed out as we returned to Ponyville, meeting back up with the others.

Danyelle spoke "Oh shut up Blaze."

Percival's stomach growled as she was eager for some food.

Danyelle giggles "Guess she's hungry."

Percival started nibbling on my tail.

Danyelle gives Percival a bowl of Oran Berries.

Michelle spoke "*Shows up* I can look after her while you help out, Blaze."

"How did you know I was gonna-?" I was about to ask.

Michelle spoke "*Shrug* Lucky guess."

I spoke "If it matters, I would feel better if Percival was looked after by my cousin."

Danyelle asks "Really?"

I spoke "Of course, you have plenty of experience with kids since you have 16 of your own."

Michelle spoke "And you look like you got triplets on the way, Dany."

Danyelle spoke "Remember those Nightlight Mewtwo? Well, they're going to be reborn as Nightlight Mews."

Michelle spoke "Whoa."

Percival started hugging Danyelle, helping me smile.

Danyelle started to growl since she smelled hamster alien.

Danyelle stalks over to where she had picked up the scent before pouncing on Hämsterveil, ripping the alien to shreds and eating him.

I spoke "*covering Percival's eyes* Holy cuss Danyelle, you are savage!"

Danyelle spoke "*Belches out the skeleton clean* And I didn’t leave a mess."

I spoke "With him now dead, the galaxy is a lot safer."

Michelle spoke "Given how small, weak and pathetic he is, a bit at least."

Danyelle giggles "Good thing cats are a rodent's natural enemy."

Michelle asks "Hmm… Remember Rena?"

I ask "Michelle, could you get the the rest of our herd sisters?"

Michelle asks "On it. Sonic too?"

Danyelle giggles "Yeah, I want to see the look on his face when he finds out!"

Soon, Sonic and the rest of my herd sisters were gathered.

Danyelle spoke "Sonic, there's something I should have told you. Blaze and I are cousins."

Sonic asks "*Shocked* …Huh?"

Danyelle spoke "It's all true, my birth name is Danyelle Alishia Marrie Felis."

Sonic asks "*Shocked more* Huh?!"

I spoke "She's not lying Sonic... If she was then Applejack and Shirou would know right away."

Danyelle gets a crazy idea before she started howling, causing Renee to start howling.

Riley spoke "Renee, quit it. You're gonna start a howl!"

Renee spoke "I didn't start it!"

Danyelle howls again, setting both of the wolves and a bunch of other wolves off.

Due to Holo's howl, Shirou had been set off by the sound.

Sonic asks "*Facepalm!* Was that really necessary, Dany?"

Danyelle giggles "I can't help it Sonic."

Luna spoke "I heard that, you know."

*Meanwhile in Canterlot,*

Both Tama and Toga had got set off by Shirou's howl.

*Back with us*

Sonic asks "Anyway, you sure about looking after Percival, Dany?"

Danyelle spoke "I may be a Felis by birth, Ogami by adoption but Hikari by marriage... Perci's part of my family since like I said, Blaze is my cousin."

A pale cream earth filly with a rose-pink mane had tackled Rusty from behind, causing the two to tumble down a hill.

Scootaloo asks "What the?!"

Lance chuckles "Ya forget Scoots, Rusty's got Poke-Mobian blood in his veins."

Scootaloo spoke "*Angry/Jealous blush while growling* You gotta be kidding me."

Lance spoke "Jeeze Scootaloo, just look at me. I've got a brother, a sister and several half siblings. One of which is Silver."

I spoke "Sonic, we should get going."

Sonic spoke "*Nod* Right."

The two royals head off to Sindel's location via warp ring.

We were with our group, accompanied by Sindel's group, having herself, Mileena, Kitana, Tanya, Liu Kang, Geras, Kuai Liang and Tomas.

Sonic spoke "I do apologize, my cousin in-law is unable to help out since she has kittens on the way yet again."

Liu Kang spoke "No need for apologies, Prince Sonic."

Gilda spoke "Alright. *Cracks knuckles* Let's do this."

Later, Kitana stabbed a guard with a folded bladed fan before pulling him off the wall as Gilda swooped in, taking out another guard as Mileena and Tanya came up before the elder princess stabbed a guard manning a ballista before aiming and firing at another one before Kitana pushed a guard off the wall as the four snuck by. Meanwhile, Sonic took a guard out in a flash as Kuai Liang speared a guard at the top of the head before pulling him up. One by one, all of us managed to sneak in as we hid behind the tunnel archways, seeing guards protecting and patrolling soul stealers.

Mileena asks "Will they stand down, if ordered?"

Sindel spoke "No. Those are the General's most loyal lieutenants."

Tomas spoke "They must be neutralized if we are to shut down the soul stealers."

Liu Kang spoke "Yes they do. We should split up."

"Divide and conquer, huh?" I noticed.

Noe was with the group as he waited in the shadows.

Noe whispers "Be careful guys."

We then ran in as Sonic, Mileena, Tanya and I went right, finding a soul stealer and readied to attack it as we sensed something, turning around to see Ermac readying to throw debris at us.

Tanya spoke "Stay behind me, Princess."

Mileena spoke "No. We fight together."

Ermac threw the debris as the four of us jumped before Tanya got knocked down by a small one while us three leapt and were about to strike before Ermac sent us towards the ground before throwing the four of us onto the wall.

Mileena gets up and checked on Tanya. “What’s wrong?”

Tanya spoke "Guh! My ribs. They may be broken."

Zoey spoke "Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that."

But then Ermac floated towards us.

Tanya spoke "Guh! Help me up."

Mileena spoke "No, Tanya. Stay down and let Zoey heal you. This time, I protect you."

Ermac spoke "We are Ermac. It is pointless to resist us."

Mileena spoke "Come any closer and you’ll feel the points of my blades. *Brings out sais*"

“And you’ll feel the burns of my flames.” I added while igniting my hands before we heard a screech as Draven in his true Vaeternian form flew in and attacked Ermac, joining us.

Ermac spoke "We are many, you are one. Your souls will become part of our collection."

The three of us started fighting Ermac as his soul power seemed chaotic as some of his attacks showed silhouettes of some souls from in him before we knocked him down.

Mileena spoke "*As Ermac got up* You have no chance of taking our souls."

We fought Ermac again as Draven used some blood magic and some waterbending he learned while living in Equis before we later managed to defeat Ermac.

Mileena spoke "You’ll have no part of us, Ermac."

Tanya spoke "*As Zoey finished healing her* Amazing, Mileena. In another life, you could have been Umgadi."

Mileena giggles "I prefer this one, Tanya."

K’Dagon showed up. “Looks like I missed the battle, brother.”

Tanya spoke "What?! How are-"

Mileena spoke "The Vaeternian fought on our side, and if those two are family, perhaps they should prove themselves first."

Draven spoke "Fair enough."

Mileena helped Tanya up as Ermac groaned. “And we must leave. Quickly!”

Ermac? spoke "*Different voice* Mileena. Wait."

Mileena stopped at that before turning around. “Father?”

Ermac? approached us as his face changed with his eyes stopped glowing.

Mileena asks "Father? Is it truly you?!"

Ermac? spoke "Yes, Mileena. This body was created from the Living Forest’s souls. Mine was one of them. You and your friends’ attacks broke the spell that binds us. Now I am in control."

Mileena spoke "Father!"

Mileena hugged her father as he hugged her back.

Jerrod spoke "*Notices Tanya* You are Umgadi, but not Li Mei. *Notices Draven and K’Dagon* Somehow, I can tell you two are different."

Tanya spoke "I replaced her after your death, Your Majesty. She left the order rather than accept punishment."

Jerrod spoke "Punishment? It was not her fault."

Mileena spoke "A discussion for another time, Father. We must go."

A roar rang clear.

Sonic spoke "Blaze, I thought you had sealed that monster away!"

That left me confused as Ermac floated us back to everyone else with the soul stealers destroyed.

"What are you talking about?" I asked as Kitana saw Jerrod and ran towards him with a hug as he hugged her back. Jerrod then saw Sindel, who saw him and was shocked.

Sindel asks "Jerrod?!"

Jerrod spoke "*As Sindel approached him* Yes, Sindel. It's me."

Sindel spoke "Ah! How I've missed you."

Liu Kang spoke "Greetings, Jerrod. *Bows in respect*"

Jerrod spoke "Liu Kang, my friend. *Bows in respect back* We meet again."

Liu Kang spoke "It is good to have you back. We once again find ourselves in challenging circumstances."

Jerrod spoke "And once again we will prevail. *Places right hand on Sindel's left shoulder* As always, Sindel, I am yours to command."

Elia arrives via warp ring in a panic.

Elia spoke "Sonic! Blaze! We got huge trouble! Danyelle sensed that the Flames of Disaster has fused with Shang Tsung and is now destroying everything in its path! We can't let Iblis kill Danyelle and Korra because without the Avatar, the very balance of nature will crumble. And since neither Danyelle or Korra can reincarnate to the next Avatar due to the cycle being permanently severed, there will never be another Avatar if they and their kids are killed."

Liu Kang spoke "Then we must hurry."

We went into the temple, entering the tomb as we saw Shang Tsung, wearing the Dragon Crown and Quan Chi supervising the stone soldiers synchronized combat training as said soldiers were empowered by flames while we hid behind inanimate statues.

Mileena asks "How is it that they're unaware that the soul stealers are shut down?"

Tomas spoke "*As we crept a bit closer* We are deep beneath the mountain. From here, they couldn't tell."

Liu Kang spoke "Look at them conspiring. It is history we should not be repeating."

Kuai Liang spoke "We must take the crown. Without it, he can't raise more warriors."

Elia spoke"But that will definitely test Iblis' patience."

Sindel spoke"Still, we must take the risk. Our odds will improve if we can surround them."

Mileena spoke "I'll distract them while the rest of you get into position. Leave it to me, mother."

We started getting into position silently and stealthily as Mileena revealed herself.

Mileena spoke "Shang Tsung."

Shang Tsung asks "Princess Mileena?"

Mileena spoke "*Without mask* I bring news from Outworld, Sindel is deposed. General Shao now rules."

Quan Chi asks "And yet you are still free?"

Mileena spoke "To succeed, the General needed help on the inside. I provided it."

Quan Chi asks "The heir to the throne gives it up willingly?"

Mileena spoke "Ha! It's a burden I never wanted. The realm is better left in General... Emperor Shao's hands."

Shang Tsung spoke "*As we were in our surrounding positions* A most mature perspective. Outworld benefits from your wisdom."

Mileena spoke "Yes, Shang Tsung, it does... but not in the manner that you expect."

We then launched our surprise attack, fighting and defeating the stone soldiers as Shang Tsung and Quan Chi confronted Mileena while Elia, Tanya, K'Dagon, Draven and I backed her up.

Shang Tsung spoke "A bold gambit, Princess."

Quan Chi asks "It is an impressive display of guile. Who knew she was so capable?"

Mileena scoffs "You count yourselves among my doubters? I will count you among the dead."

Mileena, Draven and I fought Shang Tsung with Quan Chi assisting him as Tanya, K'Dagon and Elia helped the three of us while Shang Tsung's fire attacks were stronger before we soon knocked him down.

Mileena spoke "*As Shang Tsung stood back up* Your betrayal will be punished. Do not expect leniency."

The three of us fought Shang Tsung again as our three friends assisted us while the sorcerer had Quan Chi's help before we later managed to beat him.

Mileena spoke "There will be consequences for forsaking Outworld."

The stone soldiers were moving as the dragon crown wasn't on Shang Tsung's head as he realized that, seeing it on the ground.

Liu Kang spoke "Thanks to the Princess, this fight is ended."

Shang Tsung spoke "The fight, perhaps. Not the battle."

Liu Kang asks "True. Until your benefactor is caught, the realms remain threatened. Who is she, sorcerer?"

Noe snarls "SPILL IT SHANG TSUNG!!"

But then the dragon crown started glowing green.

Shang Tsung laughs "Speak of the devil. Liu Kang, meet Damashi."

Liu Kang asks "Damashi?!"

The dragon crown floated upwards as eight figures appeared, revealed to be… Shang Tsung, Geras, Raiden, Sindel, Danyelle, Korra, Orion and Ash? But they looked different.

Liu Kang spoke "You are a victim of deception, sorcerer."

Shang Tsung spoke "*As the Shang Tsung holding the crown approached him* You’re not Damashi… You’re me!"

Shang Tsung? spoke "More correctly, you are me. A poor facsimile, anyway, made lesser by Liu Kang’s meddling."

Most, if not all of us were completely lost of what’s going on.

Sindel asks "What’s happening here? Who is he?!"

Liu Kang spoke "This Shang Tsung is whom I battled for the Hourglass. I thought him dead."

Other Shang Tsung spoke "As I did you, Liu Kang. It turns out, our battle released mammoth energies which ripped apart Time’s fabric. The fight had two conclusions. In one, I was the victor… In the other, it was you. It was eons before I discovered this. Once I did, I knew the path forward. *Female voice while taking on the benefactor’s form* I took this form and infiltrated your timeline. I met Scourge and elevated these wretches, giving them great power. Together, they sowed discord among the realms and assembled for me the Dragon Army. I led them to believe they were aiding my conquest of the realms. But my intent is to exterminate all life in this timeline and then merge it with my own."

Shang Tsung asks "You promised us realms. Now you leave us to slaughter?"

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "*Shifts back to his form with his normal voice* You were pawns, not partners. Your purpose served, you will be sacrificed."

Quan Chi spoke "We served you loyally. Built you the dragon crown!"

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "This? It is a toy. I do not need to command the Dragon Army, only the souls contained within. As well as the flames of Iblis."

Titan Shang Tsung crushed the dragon crown, sending souls into all of the stone soldiers as he then extracted Iblis from Shang Tsung and into himself. “Goodbye, Liu Kang. Neither you, nor your timeline, will be missed.”

Titan Shang Tsung vanished with his Geras as Dark Sindel, Raiden, Danyelle, Korra, Orion and Ash confronted us.

Shang Tsung spoke "It appears our interests align… for now."

Liu Kang spoke "Know that I trust neither of you. I will finish you both at the first hint of treachery."

We started fighting the six as they had the advantage over us while Dark Raiden shot Mileena back.

Jerrod asks "*As Mileena groaned* Mileena! What’s wrong?!"

Mileena spoke "Serum… *Starting to change* Wearing off… Must stay in control…"

Mileena roared as she, Draven and I confronted Dark Raiden, Ash and Orion.

Mileena spoke "You attack my family?! I will make you suffer!"

Dark Raiden spoke "Further resistance serves no purpose. This timeline will be destroyed."

Dark Ash spoke "Give up, and it’ll be quick."

Dark Orion spoke "You have no chance of beating us."

The three of us fought the three dark versions as Dark Raiden wielded red lightning before we soon knocked them down.

Mileena spoke "*As the three got back up* You haven’t much fight left. It won’t take long to finish you."

Draven spoke "Starting to get thirsty. Might as well have my fill."

“You underestimate us, prepare to burn.” I warned as we fought the three again before we later managed to defeat them.

Mileena spoke "This new Shang Tsung should have sent more minions."

A portal from the Warrior-verse opens as at least 30 combat-ready alicorns step out, among them was Warrior-verse Danyelle and her two brothers.

A warp ring from the OC-verse opens as the Mobian Guard and Pony Guard step out.

Twirama spoke "When one universe is in danger, we of the Alicorn Alliance have to help out!"

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "I couldn't agree more! Your universe's Danyelle helped us before, its time we pay back the favor!"

Twilight and her friends arrive via warp ring, courtesy of Michelle.

Twilight spoke "Till the multiverse ends..."

Twirama and the rest of the Alliance spoke "ALICORN ALLIANCE DEFEND!!!"

The three Fluttershys worked to pull any injured from the fight as the others fought hard.

We soon had Dark Sindel, Danyelle and Korra surrounded as the three laughed.

Dark Sindel spoke "Come forward, if you dare."

Dark Danyelle spoke "We'll pick up after the boys."

Dark Korra spoke "I've been itchin' for a fight."

We started fighting the three as we deal some blows, only to find ourselves outmatched and overwhelmed, knocked down by the three dark women before Sindel stood up, wielding a sword.

Dark Sindel spoke "Your tenacity's to be admired."

Sindel spoke "Until our last breaths are taken... as long as blood flows through our veins... we are not beaten."

Dark Sindel spoke "*Chuckles as her hair brought her a sword before grabbing it with her hand* Noble sentiments, which in the end matter little. None of you will leave here alive."

The two Sindels started clashing swords, trading blows and slashes before Sindel knocked her dark counterpart down and was about to finish her before her hair whipped out, grabbing a sword and stabbing her through the stomach as Dark Sindel threw her away while some of us got up with Mileena, Draven and I confronting Dark Sindel.

Dark Sindel spoke "Oh, it's so sad to see a child lose her mother."

Dark Danyelle spoke "Don't worry, you'll join her soon enough."

Dark Korra spoke "Heh, be sure to send our regards."

Mileena spoke "If my mother dies, she won't be the only Sindel to perish."

The three of us fought the three dark counterparts as we soon knocked them down.

Mileena spoke "*As the three got back up* This ends when I rip out your heart with my hands."

We fought them again as we later managed to defeat them before Mileena fell, struggling when Tanya came over and administered the serum into her from the back of her neck.

Twirama rips Dark Orion into pieces.

OC-verse Fluttershy pulls Sindel from the fight so Warrior-verse Fluttershy could heal the injured female.

Mileena then went to Sindel. “Mother.”

Sindel spoke "*Places her left hand on Mileena’s right shoulder* After seeing your skills and what you have accomplished, Mileena, you are now Empress. Rule well."

Mileena spoke "I will, mother. Father and Kitana will help me."

Jerrod spoke "Of course.

Soon, the battle here was over as we won, without any casualties on our side.

Liu Kang spoke "Hurry, everyone! We must withdraw.

We agreed as all of us fled the tomb and Ying Fortress, soon walking on the path back while looking at the fortress and its grounds in the distance.

Sonic spoke "If the Alicorn Alliance along with the OC-verse Mobian and Pony Guard hadn't shown up when they did, we would have lost that fight and our lives."

“Don’t underestimate us and yourself, Sonic.” I pointed out.

Kitana spoke "To move an army that large among realms he’ll need a portal, yes?"

Liu Kang spoke "More than one. He will need a nexus of portal gateways."

Mileena spoke "It must be nearby. We follow them, they will lead us to it."

Liu Kang spoke "Agreed. But we cannot strike until Raiden and Kung Lao arrive."

Tomas: That the Lin Kuei won’t aid us is unforgivable. Bi-Han has corrupted them totally."

Kuai Liang: When this crisis ends, we will deal with that one."

Liu Kang: This is but the opening battle in a longer war. “Titan” Shang Tsung has prepared his entire timeline for it… we cannot match its strength."

Shang Tsung: My counterpart said that your battle with him ripped time’s fabric, creating two timelines… But how do we know that it wasn’t torn further? If there are two timelines, can’t there be more?"

Liu Kang asks "Why the thought experiment, sorcerer?"

Shang Tsung spoke "You said we lacked strength. We might find it in other timelines."

Kuai Liang aks "How would we do that?"

Kitana spoke "We gather allies from across timelines… other Titans… to build an overwhelming force."

Liu Kang spoke "If they exist. We have no proof that they do."

Jerrod spoke "We must fight the battle in front of us. We can’t stake our survival on pure conjecture."

Mileena spoke "If Liu Kang is right, the battle in front of us is already lost. This may be our only hope."

Liu Kang asks "Geras. Your thoughts?"

Geras spoke "It is possible. But as I am only the Hourglass’ steward, such a search is beyond me. The same is for Dia. It can only be undertaken by the Keeper of Time."

Liu Kang spoke "And I no longer wield that power."

Geras spoke "You may be able to regain it."

Liu Kang asks "What? How do you mean?"

Geras spoke "When you gave up control of the Hourglass… I worried that, one day, you would find you needed it. So rather than let your power dissipate, I collected it… To this day it remains safely stored."

Liu Kang asks "Why did you never tell me this?"

Geras spoke "Because the process of restoring your power is likely irreversible. Returning to the life you have now as Earthrealm’s Protector, a life you cherish, may be impossible."

Liu Kang spoke "And you didn’t want me tempted to make that sacrifice… unless it was absolutely necessary."

Geras spoke "Correct."

Liu Kang spoke "Thank you, Geras. You have saved us with your wisdom. Now. Where have you stored my power? We must retrieve it."

Geras spoke "It is at the Fire Temple. Stored in the Jade Jaguar gifted to you by the Great Kung Lao."

Twilight spoke "You forget one thing though Sindel, you have yet to announce your retirement to the kingdom."

Sonic spoke "Twilight, that will have to wait until this whole thing's over."

Azure spoke "But she has a point though."

OC-Verse Danyelle spoke "I'll accompany Liu Kang and Geras."

Rei spoke "Same with me."

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "I sense that we may have to fight again."

*Rei's POV*

Later, OC-verse Danyelle and I arrived at the Fire Temple with Liu Kang and Geras.

Liu Kang: You could have picked no better vessel to store my power, Geras. I have always treated the Great Kung Lao's gift. It reminds me of his meticulous nature and his generous heart,"

Geras spoke "Once we retrieve the Jade Jaguar, we will proceed to the Hourglass. There we will transfer the temporal power stored within it to you."

Liu Kang asks "It now occurs to me that, all along you have had unfettered access to the power stored within. You could have taken it, become Keeper of Time, but chose not to. Why?"

Geras spoke "Because I have faith in your vision for this new era. I am content to be its guardian."

Liu Kang spoke "Thank you, Geras."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "Wow, he really is a true friend."

"Indeed." I agreed.

Liu Kang asks "Now this process you propose. You are sure it will restore my power?"

Geras spoke "As sure as I can be of one that has been neither tried nor tested. But even if successful, it is not guaranteed that you will find any other timelines or allies. They may not exist."

Liu Kang spoke "*Sigh* I pray this is not a fool's errand. I hate leaving the others behind."

Geras spoke "Your champions will bolster their strength against the Dragon Army. The rest of our allies and our newfound ones will be assisting them as well. It is sure to be the mother of all battles."

Liu Kang spoke "May the Elder Gods protect them."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "I've seen countless timelines where things had played out. Especially with the Mane Six of my universe. If the Rainboom didn't happen, things would be different. I've encountered the Sombra timeline, the Chrysalis timeline and Nightmare Moon timeline counterparts of the Mane Six of my universe. To be honest with you guys, I'm glad Warrior-verse Starlight and Redux-verse Starlight reformed early on. I heard from my Warrior-verse counterpart that a dark tortoiseshell Abyssinian-alicorn hybrid had reformed her universe's Starlight."
