Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Novo’s POV*

We were with everyone who could fight and the combat healers as Johnny spied the battlefield with a flying drone that was in stealth mode, getting a good view of the situation.

Johnny chuckles "*Seeing Cam 01 Feed* Hehe. My ex was so wrong. The 30K I spent on this seems like a steal right now."

OC-verse Crosswind was busy working on sharpening swords so that the sword wielders were ready for battle.

Dren spoke "I just got off the phone with Asuma, they're sending some fighters to help us out."

Mileena spoke "This… magic is incredible."

Johnny spoke "Not magic, Your Loveliness. Technology."

Raiden asks "Either way, it’s clear what must happen next. The gateways and the Dragon Army have to be destroyed. Scorpion, you have a plan?"

Kuai Liang spoke "We must divide our forces. You, Luna, Elia, Shang Tsung, Novo, Chrysalis, Quan Chi, Gilda and Tirek will use your magic and abilities to attack the portals. As you do, Kenshi and Jerrod and some volunteers will grind down the Dragon Army. The rest of us will attack our dark doubles. If they’re defeated, it will hopefully throw the dragon warriors into disarray."

Twirama spoke "I think the Fluttershys should help the medical team at least."

Yellowfang spoke "Ah agree wit the nine tailed fuzzball."

Kuai Liang spoke "That's fair enough."

Quan Chi spoke "An astute strategy."

Shang Tsung spoke "Truly. I could not have devised a better one."

Kuai Liang spoke "Enough with the empty flattery. If you want our trust, give us actions, not words."

Vince, Warrior-verse Lan and Warrior-verse Danyelle were on lookout in case the Allied Forces and Alicorn Alliance got attacked.

Twirama spoke "We're lucky that this sort of threat hasn't reached the Legendverse yet but we can't drag them into our problems."

Meanwhile, OC-verse Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped, seeing her Redux and Warrior-verse counterparts.

Warrior-verse Rainbow asks "What's the matter?"

Rainbow snickers "Jealous?"

OC-verse Rainbow stammered in anger, definitely jealous.

OC-verse Sonic chuckles "Oh wow, Skittles is definitely jealous."

Sonic asks "*Ahem!* Didn't you notice?"

Azure spoke "You're one to talk hedgehog, you have more wives than I do! I only have two!"

OC-verse Sonic spoke "I only have one though."

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "Guys, we gotta focus here."

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "Agreed, we don't know when those things will attack next."

OC-verse Sonic spoke "I think we should call in more backup just in case."

Rarity spoke "You mean..."

OC-verse Rainbow spoke "The Heartsverse gang."

Warrior-verse Twilight asks "But what about the Neoverse and MegaMewverse?"

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "We can worry about that later. We gotta get ready."

A warning yowl was heard from Warrior-verse Featherwhisker.

Dark Shao spoke "It is time. Our venom will spread. It will be the end of all things. Armageddon."

Everyone got into their position as Kenshi, Jerrod and those with telekinesis and psychic powers threw boulders at the stone soldiers, with Kuai Liang throwing fireballs and Tomas throwing smoke bombs at some more while the fighters charged, attacking the army while Raiden, Luna, Elia, Quan Chi, Gilda, Tirek, Shang Tsung, Chrysalis and myself approached one of the portals and started to bring it down before something started holding it back up as we saw Dark Ermac, Dark Kenshi, Dark Chrysalis, Dark Tirek, Dark Twilight and Dark Silver doing the deed, sending us back a bit.

Shang Tsung spoke "That is unfortunate."

The two dark doubles started approaching us.

Quan Chi spoke "The battle continues, everyone."

Shang Tsung spoke "Quan Chi, Chrysalis, Tirek, Novo, Gilda, with me. *As the five of us backed him up* I, for one, am not pleased we were double-crossed."

Quan Chi spoke "It is an ire I share."

Shang Tsung spoke "May I suggest we harness our anger… and use it to obliterate my doppelgänger’s minions."

Shang Tsung, Chrysalis and I started fighting Dark Kenshi, Dark Chrysalis and Dark Twilight while those three were helped by dark Ermac, Dark Tirek and Dark Silver with Quan Chi, Tirek and Gilda assisting the three of us before we soon knocked the three down.

Shang Tsung spoke "*As the three got back up* Effective, but insufficient. You cannot thwart me."

We fought the dark doubles again as Shang Tsung took Dark Kenshi’s form with Chrysalis taking Dark Twilight’s as the other three dark counterparts helped the enemy while our two friends and Quan Chi assisted us before we later managed to defeat the six.

Shang Tsung spoke "This lot will trouble us no more."

Twirama spat out flames to push the other dark clones back.

The six of us went back to helping Raiden, Luna and Elia as we managed to bring down the portal gateway before moving onto the next before I sensed some enemies incoming.

Shang Tsung spoke "There are more who require our attention.

Raiden, Luna and Elia started working on the next gateway as the rest of our small group faced an approaching Dark Rain, Dark Tomas, Dark Juvia, Dark Lucy, Dark Aqua and Dark Riptide before the hydromancer chanted, surrounded us with walls of water before the tide receded as the six attacked us, knocking us back as they were about to finish us before Raiden, Luna and Aria knocked them back with their abilities, saving us as we got up.

Raiden spoke "You’re welcome, sorcerers."

Shang Tsung asks "Is it me, or is that Raiden becoming insufferable?"

Quan Chi spoke "*As the six dark counterparts got back up* You are not wrong, but it is tomorrow’s problem. *As Shang Tsung, Chrysalis and I faced Dark Rain, Dark Juvia and Dark Aqua* Let us first solve today’s."

The three of us started fighting the three water-users with Quan Chi, Tirek and Gilda’s help as Dark Tomas, Dark Lucy and Dark Riptide assisted the three enemies before we soon knocked them down.

Shang Tsung spoke "*As the three got back hp* Still wish to fight? I will send you to a watery grave."

We fought the three enemies again as our two friends and Quan Chi assisted us while the three dark water users had Dark Tomas, Dark Lucy and Dark Riptide’s help before we later managed to defeat the six.

Shang Tsung spoke "Problem solved."

Twirama growls "They just keep coming!!"

A sudden divine blast destroys all of the stone soldiers.

Danyelle spoke "Thought you guys would need the extra help after all!"

The available Smashers showed up.

Sonic spoke "Whoa, didn’t see that coming, but awesome."

The nine of us went back to attacking the gateway and brought down before moving to the next.

Quan Chi spoke "Two out of five."

Gilda spoke "Almost past halfway."

Shang Tsung spoke "It’s progress. Now on to the next."

But Dark Shao roared as he jumped down and attacked before we started fighting him, soon gaining the upper hand when we noticed the portals distorting and fading.

Raiden asks "Did you see that?"

Quan Chi spoke "His life force is feeding the portals’ energy."

Shang Tsung spoke "We kill him, we close them permanently."

We kept attacking Dark Shao before Raiden, Luna and Elia were knocked away by fireballs as the six of us saw Dark Scorpion, Dark Sub-Zero, Dark Natsu, Dark Gray, Dark Pixie and Dark Miyuki approaching us.

Quan Chi spoke "These meddlesome minions grow tiresome."

Shang Tsung spoke "Let’s finish them."

Shang Tsung, Chrysalis and I started fighting the three dark fire users while they were helped by the ice users with Quan Chi, Tirek and Gilda assisting us before we soon knocked them down.

Shang Tsung spoke "*As the three got back up* Your flames will be snuffed out."

We fought the three again with the ice-wielded assisting them as our two friends and Quan Chi helped us before we later managed to defeat them.

Shang Tsung scoffs "So much for fire and ice."

Raiden, Luna and Elia got back up before dodging attacks from Dark Shao as they were soon knocked down and were about to get hammered before we knocked him away.

Dark Reiko asks "*Helps Dark Shao up as Dark Sonic, Dark Shadow, Dark Fluttershy and Dark Rarity showed up* Are you hurt?"

Dark Shao laughs "I’ve never been better. Fools. Your spell worked before only because you surprised me. It won’t happen again."

Dark Sonic spoke "Hehe, get ready to have your skin peeled off."

Dark Rarity spoke "I’ll give you a KILLER makeover, one to DIE for."

Shang Tsung, Chrysalis and I started fighting the three as Dark Reiko, Dark Shadow and Dark Fluttershy assisted them while Quan Chi, Tirek and Gilda helped us before we soon knocked them down.

Shang Tsung spoke "*As the three got back up* Size isn’t all that matters."

Chrysalis spoke "It takes skills as well."

“Prepare for defeat.” I declared as we fought them again as their three allies helped them while our two friends and Quan Chi assisted us before we later managed to beat them.

Shang Tsung spoke "His soul is ours."

Shang Tsung brought out his right tekko-kagi before heading for Dark Reiko and pierced him in He neck.

Dark Reiko screams "Nooo!"

Shang Tsung continued stabbing Dark Reiko as he screamed in pain before he was done, followed by extracting and absorbing Dark Shao’s soul, killing him, causing the portals to fade away completely.

Raiden spoke "You’ve done it! The army’s trapped."

Quan Chi spoke "All of the other realms in this timeline are safe."

Shang Tsung spoke "Never forget, all of you… that we risked our lives to perform this service."

Raiden spoke "One that wouldn’t have been needed, if you hadn’t conspired with the other Shang Tsung. They will fight to the last man. Come. We must help the others."

“Right.” I agreed as we went back to the others to help them fight against the army.

Twirama roars loud, knocking away many dark pegasi.

Sonic and OC-verse Sonic zipped throughout the battlefield, knocking down many ground enemies.

Azure whips up a nasty tornado with his wings, sending several dark clones flying.

*Rei's POV*

We were at the Hourglass as the Jade Jaguar was inside it before dissolving into energy as Liu Kang absorbing it through his blue and red flames, having now regained his powers as Keeper of Time.

Megaman.exe spoke "Whoa.

OC-Verse Danyelle spoke "*As Geras appeared* Whoa is right bro."

Geras asks "Are you ready to begin the search?"

Liu Kang spoke "Ready enough. May there be other timelines and titans to find."

Liu Kang then used his powers again, beginning his search before someone soon appeared, revealed to be Kitana, but in a different outfit.

Titan Kitana asks "Geras?! Liu Kang?! Danyelle?! Vince?! Rei?!"

Liu Kang spoke "Easy, Kitana. You are among friends."

Titan Kitana asks "What's happened?! Where am I?!"

Liu Kang spoke "A long way from home. In a different timeline, to be precise."

Titan Kitana asks "What? Are you also a-"

Liu Kang spoke "A Keeper of Time? Yes."

Titan Kitana asks "Both of us? How is that possible?"

Liu Kang spoke "The battle for Kronika's Hourglass ripped apart time's fabric. Where there was once one timeline, there are now many. Each new timeline represents a different possible outcome of that battle. In mine, I became time's keeper. In yours, it was you. In others it could be Jade, Sindel, even Kano. The possibilities are endless."

Titan Kitana spoke "If many timelines sprung from one, and we were both part of it, then you are... you are my Liu Kang."

Liu Kang spoke "The same who battled you in Shang Tsung's courtyard. Who fought at your side at the Koliseum. *Grabs her left hand with both* Who beamed with pride when you became Outworld's Kahn."

Titan Kitana held the back of Liu Kang's head before the two kissed while embracing each other, leaving OC-Verse Danyelle and MegaMan.EXE completely speechless.

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "Awkward...."

The two then disconnected.

Titan Kitana asks "Why does fate seem always to conspire against us? To deny us life’s simple pleasures?"

Liu Kang spoke "I don’t know. Perhaps in one of the many timelines, they are ours."

Titan Kitana asks "I would like to think you brought me here for them, but… I know you well enough to know better. What duty beckons us?"

Liu Kang spoke "I will tell you… But first, we must gather more of our old friends."

Later, more Titan versions arrived, those being Kung Lao, Raiden, Danyelle, Sumarda, Sonic and Twilight.

Titan Kung Lao spoke "Shang Tsung a titan, wielding the power of the Hourglass…"

Titan Raiden spoke "Yes, Kung Lao. He is a threat to all timelines."

Geras spoke "He is not yet aware of any beyond his and Liu Kang’s."

Titan Kitana spoke "For now. It is only a matter of time."

Titan Danyelle spoke "I’ll admit this much, it’s kinda quaint seeing my past self like this."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "As my Redux and Warrior-verse counterparts would say.... Great StarClan..."

Titan Danyelle spoke "Believe me, I thought the same thing when I found myself Keeper of Time."

Titan Raiden spoke "I had hoped my victory over Kronika would end the endless cycle of kombat. Sadly it begins anew."

Titan Sonic spoke "Yikes, this is worse than the Time Eater."

OC-verse Danyelle teases "So T Sonic, have YOU found love yet?"

Titan Sonic spoke "*Blush* Seriously?! You’re just as bad as my Danyelle."

Titan Sumarda spoke "*Giggle* Okay, that’s enough."

Titan Twilight spoke "We have bigger problems to worry about."

Titan Kitana spoke "We have no choice. We must stop Shang Tsung."

Titan Kung Lao spoke "The millions in my White Lotus Society will aid us, if needed."

Liu Kang spoke "Thank you, my friends.

OC-verse Danyelle giggles "Cadence is worse."

A powerful roar rang loud.

OC-Verse Danyelle spoke "That sounded like Midnight. But it's not the one I know."

Warrior-verse Midnight then showed up.

Warrior-verser Opaline was on the foxcat's back.

Warrior-verse Opaline spoke "Hey."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "I have to help the others. My universe's Mobian Guard can't function without me."

But then we heard fire crackling and whooshing.

Liu Kang spoke "He is here."

The fur on OC-verse Danyelle's tails was fluffed up as she growls.

We then saw a dark fiery portal with smoky dust coming out before Titan Shang Tsung and a group of dark counterparts appeared out of it.

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "Liu Kang, you have found allies. Titan allies, in fact. How could I have been so blind? Of course our timelines aren't the only two."

Liu Kang spoke "Retreat to yours, Shang Tsung. Your attempt to merge timelines has failed."

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "Yes. Your comrades proved most resourceful."

OC-verse Danyelle asks "Wait, our friends won?"

"Sounds like it." I noted as OC-Verse Danyelle gave a sigh of relief.

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "Thus I have resigned myself to simply destroying your timeline."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "*Confused and concerned* Bigbadsaywhatnow? Tell me I didn't hear that right."

Titan Danyelle spoke "You did."

Titan Shang Tsung laughs "Knowing that others exist to conquer makes that choice much more palatable. Once I destroy your Hourglass, your timeline will cease to exist. I will take great pleasure in finishing you and your friends, one last time."

Dark Counterparts charged at us as a few stayed behind with Titan Shang Tsung before we started fighting them with Dark Nitara later giving a shriek and bit into Geras' neck as Liu Kang, Titan Kitana, OC-verse Danyelle, Titan Danyelle, Titan Sumarda and I attacked Dark Syzoth, Dark Baraka, Dark Bowser, Dark Ganondorf, Dark Manic and Dark Sonia.

Liu Kang spoke "You fight how I remember. I know what you'll do before you do it."

Titan Kitana spoke "Likewise. Let's hope our advantage proves decisive."

Liu Kang, OC-verse Danyelle and I started fighting Dark Baraka, Dark Ganondorf and Dark Manic while they were assisted by Dark Syzoth, Dark Bowser and Dark Sonia as Titan Kitana, Titan Danyelle and Titan Sumarda helped us before we soon knocked them down.

"How about you crawl back to your timeline?" I taunted as the three got back up before we fought them again as they were helped by the other three dark counterparts while our three friends assisted us as we later managed to defeat them.

Liu Kang spoke "How I've missed fighting by Kitana's side."

Titan Shang Tsung chanted as he, Dark Mileena, Dark Kitana, Dark Palutena, Dark Bayonetta, Dark Ness and Dark Lucas started using their abilities to fire beams that continuously hit the Hourglass. Titan Kung Lao, Titan Sonic and Warrior-Verse Midnight were fighting Dark Li Mei, Dark Tanya, Evil Dark Pit, Evil Pit, Dark Vector and Dark Zavok before the three were soon knocked out as the six faced us.

Dark Tanya spoke "Let's rip the flesh from their bones."

Evil Dark Pit cackles "Heh, I'm down with that."

Dark Zavok laughs "Hahaha, what a delightful idea."

Titan Kitana spoke "Are Tanyas of all timelines this evil? Mine is no better."

Liu Kang spoke "You should meet mine, she's a vast improvement."

Titan Danyelle spoke "I'll admit, the Deadly Six are a real piece of work."

Titan Kitana spoke "*To Liu Kang* I'd like that, should we survive this battle."

Liu Kang, OC-verse Danyelle and I started fighting Dark Li Mei, Evil Pit and Dark Vector with help from Titan Kitana, Titan Danyelle and Titan Sumarda while our enemies were assisted by Dark Tanya, Evil Dark Pit and Dark Zavok before we soon knocked them down.

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "*As the three got back up* That settles it, this timeline's Li Mei is better than you could ever be."

We fought the three again as their trio of allies helped them while our three friends assisted us before we later defeated them.

Liu Kang asks "Are you the best Shang Tsung can do?"

We then saw the Hourglass cracking.

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "It has begun!"

The seven kept on the pressure as Liu Kang suddenly kneeled in pain as I felt physically hurt too.

Titan Kitana spoke "Liu Kang!"

Liu Kang spoke "We must stop them. If the Hourglass is emptied, this timeline will be destroyed."

The six of us then went towards Dark Kitana as Liu Kang kicked her away from Geras.

Liu Kang spoke "*Helps Geras up as he rewinded, healing his wound* Heal quickly, my friend."

Titan Raiden, Titan Twilight and Warrior-Verse Opaline fought Dark Liu Kang, Dark Kung Lao, Dark Rei, Dark Lillian, Dark Kirby and Dark Meta Knight before the three were knocked out cold before the six faced us.

Dark Liu Kang spoke "This battle ends with your timeline obliterated."

Dark Kirby spoke "*Menacingly and darkly* Poyo...!"

Dark Rei cackles "We'll finish you slowly and painfully."

Liu Kang spoke "We do not fear your bravado. I have bested twins far more evil than you."

Liu Kang, OC-Verse Danyelle and I started fighting Dark Liu Kang, Dark Kirby and Dark Rei as they were assisted by Dark Kung Lao, Dark Meta Knight and Dark Lillian with Titan Kitana, Titan Danyelle and Titan Sumarda helped us before we soon knocked them down.

Liu Kang spoke "*As the three stood back up* It's time to break my mirror image."

We fought our three enemies again while their trio of allies helped them as our three friends assisted us before we later managed to beat them.

Liu Kang spoke "Go back to your timeline, Brothers."

Geras spoke "*As Liu Kang helped him stand up* We have little time. The Hourglass is failing."

Titan Kitana spoke "Then let us end this now."

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "Be good children and kill them, won't you?"

Dark Kitana spoke "As you command, Shang Tsung."

Dark Palutena spoke "Of course, it'll be a massacre."

Dark Ness spoke "Okay."

Liu Kang spoke "Kitana, Rei, both Danyelles, Sumarda and I will fight them, You save the Hourglass!"

Gera spoke "Yes, Liu Kang."

The six of us faced the remaining dark counterparts as Geras shot beams of sand to repair the Hourglass.

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "*Laughs* Fool. You cannot save it."

Titan Shang Tsung added more pressure, gaining the advantage in the damage/heal clash.

Titan Kitana spoke "I don't know which of the two is worse. Both are cracked reflections of me."

Liu Kang spoke "They are abominations. Neither them or their allies will survive this fight."

Liu Kang, OC-verse Danyelle and I started fighting Dark Kitana, Dark Palutena and Dark Ness as they were assisted by Dark Mileena, Dark Bayonetta and Dark Lucas while Titan Kitana, Titan Danyelle and Titan Sumarda helped us before we soon knocked them down.

Liu Kang spoke "*As the trio got back up* You deserve this!"

We started fighting the three enemies again as their friends helped them while our trio of allies assisted us before we later managed to defeat them.

Liu Kang spoke "Once Shang Tsung is finished, you will be too."

Liu Kang joined in on healing the Hourglass as the rest of our Titan allies helped repair the Hourglass, healing the artifact faster than Titan Shang Tsung could damage it as we won the battle.

Titan Shang Tsung spoke "This isn't over, Liu Kang."

Titan Shang Tsung and the dark counterparts that came with him retreated back into the portal before it closed.

Liu Kang spoke "Thank you, everyone, for your aid. This battle was won together."

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "We may have won the battle but the war isn't over."

Titan Kitana spoke "She’s right. Shang Tsung is gone, but he’s not defeated. He will be back to renew his campaign."

Titan Kung Lao spoke "Not only against this timeline, but against all timelines."

Titan Raiden spoke "Our choice is clear. We must take the fight to him. Destroy any power he has to make war against us."

Titan Sonic spoke "Yep, time to wrap it up."

Titan Twilight spoke "Yeah, we don’t have time to wait."

Titan Danyelle: We’ll need the others.

Titan Sumarda: And a lot more help."

Liu Kang: Agreed. Shang Tsung is likely already gathering allies as I gathered you. We must beat his efforts. Assemble an overwhelming army from across all timelines."

Liu Kang created a fiery portal.

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "Not just from alternate timelines, other universes too! This mess doesn't involve just the Redux-verse, Warrior-verse and OC-verse. It affects ALL universes and...."

OC-verse Danyelle got a rather nasty vision concerning Singularity.

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "I have to put the call out to every universe! Singularity is close to attacking!"

“Danyelle! Calm down! Panicking about it won’t do anyone any good.” I pointed out as Titan Danyelle gave her past counterpart a slap up the back of the head.

Titan Danyelle spoke "He’s right, you know."

Danyelle pops up suddenly.

Danyelle spoke "My OC-verse counterpart has a point though, Singularity is a major threat to all universes."

Titan Danyelle spoke "Focus on the present, not the future."

Danyelle spoke "It was merely a warning of the future."

"Anywho, let's get the others while the Titans find allies from other timelines." I said.

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "I'll contact the other zones then, get them up to speed on things."

Danyelle spoke "As will I."

"Wait, Titan Shang Tsung doesn't know about the other universes since he's only after all the timelines." I pointed out as the Titans and Geras went into the portal.

Danyelle spoke "But given that the OC-verse gang and the Alicorn Alliance from the Warrior-verse are aiding us folks of the Redux-verse, there is a chance that Titan Shang Tsung might become aware of the two universes."

"Nevertheless, we gotta gather the others." I pointed out as Danyelle nodded before using a Warp Ring to take us back to the others.
