Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Ichigo's POV*

Twilight and I were in Morioh as we met up with the Stand Users we knew with Reimi, looking at a picture of Shigechi.

Reimi spoke "There’s no doubt about it. This boy has passed. *Leaving us shocked* Shigekiyo must’ve had a run in with the killer. One that cost him his life. The whole thing is sickening. I know what you must be thinking, how did they meet and how was he murdered, but I have no idea. I’m positive it was his doing. I’d recognize the handiwork of that murderer anywhere, trust me."

Josuke spoke "*As Twilight secretly called Zane* We just looked for Shigechi, but couldn’t find him anywhere. I still don’t get how this could’ve happened, we only let him out of our sights for five minutes. His books and school supplies are in the same place he left them, and his parents have filled a missing person report. Though I doubt anything useful will turn up at this point. I have to wonder…"

Koichi asks "Wait, what’re you saying, Josuke? You don’t think a Stand User did this, do you?"

Josuke spoke "You guys couldn’t possibly know this, but Shigechi’s Stand, Harvest, was, well in a word, the thing was near invincible. So what the heck? This guy killed Shigechi in five minutes, then he hid his body off campus without anyone noticing."

Joseph spoke "Well, there you have it, Midnight. It’s pretty obvious that we’re dealing with a murderous Stand User. We can’t just sit by and watch like spectators."

Midnight asks "Anyway, you said you found a button, right, Josuke?"

Josuke spoke "Oh yeah, Harvest brought it to me before falling to pieces. *Brings out a button and gives it to Midnight* Here you go."

Midnight asks "The clue Shigechi left behind for us. More likely taken from the murderer, so it could be important. Gonna have to investigate the button since it doesn’t have a scent. So no problems about me holding onto it?"

Josuke asks "Be my guess, but how much information can you really get from some run-of-the-mill button?"

Midnight spoke "You can ask Rarity that you could find the clothes’ brand or manufacturer."

Koichi spoke "Good idea."

Okuyasu spoke "*Sweating a bit* Hey, if we’re done with this little meeting, I think I’m gonna go home. Talking about all this is putting me in a weird mood. I’m really angry. *Starts walking away* Come on, dad, big bro. Let’s go."

Keicho spoke "Very well."

Okuyasu, Keicho and their father then left.

Koichi spoke "What’s up with him? This isn’t like him at all."

Josuke spoke "Yeah, but I know how he feels. Shigechi may have come off as an annoying, greedy brat, but there was something undeniably lovable about him. I still haven’t wrapped my head around the fact that he’s gone. Honestly, I’m not sure how to feel… I don’t know whether to rage at the world or cry my eyes out. It’s one of the most irritating things you can imagine. I’m sure he feels it too. But it’s probably way worse for him."

Yukako asks "How can something so horrific be happening in Morioh right under my nose?"

Tonio spoke "I’ll make sure all my customers know to keep an eye out for this madman."

Aya spoke "*Sigh* I can’t imagine he would pay me a visit, but I’ll take some precautions."

Toshikazu spoke "Keep in mind that Stand Users have a nasty habit of finding each other. That said, I hope we never meet. *Starts leaving too*"

Rohan spoke "So the time has come for us all to take action."

Twilight spoke "*Finishes call* Zane’s gonna go to work on a project, he said it’ll be done in a week, tops."

I ask "Shouldn't we get Danyelle involved in this situation?"

Twilight spoke "At the lab, probably, but in Morioh? That could put her in danger."

At that moment, Twilight's comm device goes off.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I have a gut feeling that the person who caused this to happen has a stand called Killer Queen. Whatever you guys do, don't look at its eyes! That's probably how Shigechi died. I saw it in my dimensional scream after touching the vial that contained Shigechi's blood."

Twilight asks "So Faust gave you the green light?"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "She did say the way Shigechi died was unnatural."

I spoke "But we should be careful. Going off what Danyelle just said, we can't look this particular stand in the face or we get blown up."

The others still here nodded before we all split up.

*Four Days later…*

I met up with Twilight as she got a call from Zane and Nightmare Danyelle, telling us that the body cloning was going smoothly so far.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I wasn't able to get any more information from the vision I had and Tia has gone missing... I last sensed her in Morioh two days ago and then... Poof! She disappeared..."

But then on Nightmare Danyelle’s side of the phone, we heard a door open with Danyelle giving a gasp.

Nightmare Danyelle gasps "What the-Tia?!"

Tia spoke "*Panting heavily* I-I don’t know what happened. Something on me exploded, but I at least managed to survive."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Please, just stay still and let me heal you!"

Tia spoke "Okay."

Tia winces in pain due to a bullet wound which was bleeding.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Please, just don’t move."

Zane spoke "That bullet wound looks bad... If we don't get that bullet out before we stitch the wound shut, it will lead to major problems later on."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Right. So we better be thorough."

Nightmare Danyelle uses a sleep spell on Tia, putting the injured Latias to sleep so that the process went smoothly.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "With her now sleeping, it'll be safer for us to remove the bullet."

Nightmare Danyelle then brought out a pair of tweezers.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I just realized something though Zane... Even if we create a new clone of Shigechi, he won't have a Stand."

Zane asks "Listen, you told me a Stand’s the manifestation of the soul, right?"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Yeah."

Zane spoke "That means where Shigechi’s soul goes, Harvest goes too."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Good thing I nabbed Shigechi's soul before it vanished. This way, we can create a new body for him! And the soul will stay the same."

Zane spoke "Phew, close call. If you didn’t make it, that soul could’ve crumbled on the way up there."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Since we got three other bodies in stasis... A Vulpix body, cloned from Myra... A Squirtle body, cloned from the original body which is now incinerated.... And a gray tabby Abyssinian body, cloned from Chummer's fur.... I wonder how long it will take before the new Trapinch body is ready."

Zane spoke "Like I said, a week tops, which is 3 more days."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Right."

Zane asks "Do you have Chaos Barrier up just in case Ein or some other imbecile tries to break in and disrupt the process?"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Yeah, I put it up after Tia showed up."

Zane spoke "Good, I don't want any interruptions."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I've also got it tuned to hostile Stands as well. I can't risk anything bad happening."

Zane spoke "Now THAT’S what I call thorough."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Only drawback is that I have to remain inside the barrier for it to work properly."

Zane spoke "Oh, good to know."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "And this way, you're also protected from attacks too."

Zane spoke "I know. But for sake of conversation, how long would the barrier last if you teleported outside of it? Just making sure."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "If I leave the barrier... it would shatter instantly unless another person knows Chaos Barrier."

Zane spoke "Drat…!"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Plus it was a divine skill I got from High Goddess Faust."

A ping went off in Nightmare Danyelle's mind since a monster from the Everfree Forest was trying to get at the blood vials.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "And that's another perk that only works when I'm inside the barrier, it keeps hostile monsters out."

Zane spoke "Alright."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I do believe Jayfeather is close to waking up soon since I already put his soul into his new body."

Jayfeather spoke "Ugh…"

Sunset suddenly pops up inside the barrier.

Sunset spoke "Jaytwo!"

Jayfeather asks via telepathy "*Sees Sunset* Sunny? Is that you?"

Sunset spoke "It's really me... And before you say something, you're not blind anymore."

Jayfeather spoke "*via telepathy* Wait, I can see? *Looks at his hand before smiling* I can see!"

Zane spoke "Alright, draining the fluid now."

Nightmare Danyelle was on standby to help Jayfeather out of the test tube after it was drained.

After the tube was fully drained, it then opened.

Nightmare Danyelle helps Jayfeather out, stabilizing him since he was wobbly.

Soon, Jayfeather managed to stand up straight. “Thanks, Dany. And of…”

Jayfeather walked over to Sunset and picked up her while hugging Sunset, making her gasp a bit.

Jayfeather spoke "I have a ton of time to make up with my lovely mate."

Jayfeather then nibbled Sunset’s neck, making her gasp again with a deep blush.

A portal from New Yoke opened before a male Foxicle about the same age as Myra tumbles out, getting his head stuck in a wall while going splay legged.

The Foxicle groans "Ouch...."

Sunset moans "*Starting to pant with while sweating* J-Jay-jay…"

Nightmare Danyelle sends the two straight to the chuddle hotel.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Now, we wait until Ursula and Flaria wake up."

Zane spoke"Yikes, no time at all and Jayfeather wanted to take his new body for a test drive."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Even though Sunset is still a Mew...."

But then Nightmare Danyelle smirked at Zane.

Zane asks "Uh, why are you looking at me like that?"

Nightmare Danyelle teases "Oh, nothing just thinking about you and Moeka together."

A very flustered Zane spoke "DANYELLE!!!!"

Nightmare Danyelle mischievously stuck her tongue out.

Zane spoke "Cheeky alicorn..."

On our side, we saw Josuke and Okuyasu running past us, and it seemed like they were in a hurry before Josuke stopped at a road corner.

Josuke spoke "That’s the wrong way!"

Okuyasu spoke "But the shoe store is this way."

Josuke spoke "This path will get us there faster. *Heads right*"

Okuyasu asks "Huh?"

Josuke spoke "*As Okuyasu followed him* Hurry!"

Shizue gets a bad feeling that the stand, Killer Queen, was about to strike.

I spoke "Josuke, no!"

I grab Josuke and Okuyasu with magic, pulling them back towards me.

Josuke elbowed me, making me let go of him and Okuyasu.

Josuke spoke "Sorry, but we don’t have time to waste! *Runs off with Okuyasu*"

Twilight and I followed after the two until we arrived at the back of a store.

Josuke spoke "Hey, Koichi! Koichi!"

We stopped, seeing something.

Okuyasu asks "Oh, no! Did we get here too late? What happened?!"

Okuyasu gasped as we saw a bloodied Midnight, Koichi and a male blonde cat in a purple suit.

Josuke spoke "Hey! Koichi, Midnight, hang on! Eyes open, everyone!"

Okuyasu asks "Yeah, sure! But what the heck?! How’d they get so messed up?!"

Josuke spoke "Calm down. We have to find out if they’re still alive. If they are, I can heal them with Shining Diamond."

We started checking Midnight and Koichi, who had a hole through his chest.

Josuke spoke "Yes! Midnight’s alive, but he’s barely clinging to life."

Okuyasu spoke "Koichi is, too, but he’s not breathing! You gotta hurry up and heal him, Josuke! *As Josuke used Shining Diamond to fully heal Midnight* He’s not gonna make it at this rate!"

Josuke spoke "I know! I’m doing it as fast as I can! *Finishes healing Midnight* Alright! Onto Koichi! *Fully heals Koichi with Shining Diamond*"

Twilight checked Midnight and he had a healthy pulse, telling us that he was alive as Josuke finished healing Koichi. I then checked on Koichi.

I spoke "Koichi’s alright, he’s gonna make it!"

But then Shizue yowls, pointing towards the blonde cat Mobian, who regained consciousness and was crawling away.

Josuke asks "Where are you going?"

Okuyasu spoke "Look at him. He got beat up bad."

Josuke growls "Turn around and don’t try anything funny. You got it?"

Okuyasu spoke "What’s wrong? Didn’t you hear what he said? Show us your face."

The Mobian turned around, showing us his face with a fearful expression and shriek. “Be careful, everyone! You have to stay far away from Mukadeya Shoes! Another crazy explosion might go off! Get to safety! The first one came out of nowhere and blew the owner to pieces! They were caught up in it, too! *Wails*"

Okuyasu asks "An explosion?"

Josuke asks "Hey, just calm down. Were you also in the blast?"

A male asks "I’m an office worker who was nearby, but now I’m going to die! *With tears* I’m losing way too much blood! *Gasps in pain* Why me?!"

Josuke: Hey, come on, man. Calm down. It’s gonna be all right. I can heal you lickety-split. All right, now tell me where it hurts most."

The male spoke "*As Shizue hissed* My midsection. I think one of my ribs might have punctured my lung. *As Midnight started coming to with a groan* Please! Hurry and save me!"

Josuke spoke "Hurry, huh? That’s weird. Last time I checked, I looked like I was just an ordinary high school student, yet you believed I could treat your wounds."

That made us gasp as Shizue kept hissing.

Josuke spoke "I still have trouble getting people to let me in to Pachinko Parlors, but somehow I strike you as a high-school graduate ready and willing to fix your little boo-boos? Huh?! You totally took the bait, which means you have the ability to see my Shining Diamond. That must make you the killer we’re after, and they are your would-be victims."

The cat Mobian stammered at that.

Okuyasu asks "Wait! Are you serious? He’s the killer?!"

I spoke "Sounds like it."

The male spoke "It seems you’ve finally hunted down your culprit. You’re right. I’m the one you’ve been looking for, Morioh’s resident killer. You know my identity, the true nature of my Stand. You even know my real name. I suppose sleeping like a baby isn’t really in the cards for me, but it’s just a temporary setback. Deadly Queen!"

A Stand appeared and severed the mobian’s left hand, destroying the watch on there too, making us gasp in shock.

Midnight asks "*Gets up* Huh?"

Koichi, having woken up gasped as the hand landed on the ground.

Josuke snarls "The heck do you think you’re doing?!"

The male spoke "*Covering wound with tie while having tears from the pain* What does it look like? I severed my hand. It’s so excruciating, it’s a wonder I’m still conscious. There’s so much blood. Look at me. I’m a sobbing mess. Victory and defeat mean absolutely nothing to me, kiddos. I assure you I’ll survive. I’ll live on in peaceful tranquility. It’s true I’ll have to live out the rest of my days with the insatiable desire to kill, but make no mistake. I’ll have my happy ending."

A damaged and cracked miniature tank emerged from the back of the severed hand.

The male spoke "I hereby free you, Heart Attack. You may act as you see fit. Your final duty is to protect me!"

The Mobian then ran away.

Josuke asks "You’re kidding me! What is this toy gonna do?"

Midnight spoke "Don’t let it touch you, Josuke! That is the second bomb, a remote bomb Stand designed to home in on heat and thermal energy! It cannot be destroyed! One touch and your body temperature will make it blow!"

Shining Diamond appeared and attacked the bomb, doing no damage.

Okuyasu asks "Shining Diamond can’t break that thing?"

But then the bomb tank gained a yellow aura as it suddenly repaired itself.

Josuke spoke "Break it? Why the heck would I do that when I can fix it instead? *As Heart Attack withdrew into the severed hand* He was kind enough to leave his hand behind."

The hand then gained the aura and started floating as the blood on it vanished.

“Huh?” The rest of us asked, caught off guard.

Josuke spoke "*As the hand flew off* It’s not the prettiest sight to look at, but that hand is leading us to our murderer. Let’s go!"

Okuyasu spoke "Yeah!"

“No time to waste then!” I said as all of us followed the flying hand.

Josuke spoke "You’re not getting away from us that easily, you freakin’ psycho!"

As we ran, I was carrying the soul container Danyelle gave me just in case as Koichi told us the whole story.

Koichi spoke "The murderer’s name is Yoshikage Kira. His address is Morioh Kotodai 1-128. He’s 33 years old. Also, he wields a short-range bomb Stand called Killer Queen!"

Okuyasu asks "Just look at it go! Where is this guy running to?"

Josuke spoke "It doesn’t matter where he’s going! When we find him, he’s dead!"

The hand soon pressed against a door.

Josuke spoke "He’s holed up in this building."

Okuyasu asks "Guys, wait a second. Isn’t this… Beauty Institute Cinderella?!"

Josuke asks "Why the heck would he come to a place like this?"

Koichi asks "*See the hand push the door open and go inside* Uh, oh, no! Dr. Aya! *As we all went inside* Aya, are you in here?!"

We saw blood, discarded clothes and identification as the hand pushed another door open and went inside, allowing us to see what was inside, making us gasp.

Koichi spoke "D-Dr. Aya, she’s-"

We saw Dr. Aya on the floor with a hole in her throat.

Okuyasu asks "No way! It can’t be! The heck did she do to deserve this?!"

Josuke spoke "Look over there. It’s Yoshikage Kira! He’s dead!"

Koichi spoke "Aya!"

We saw a black cat Mobian sitting in a chair, lying his head away from us on a desk as Koichi ran to Aya.

Josuke spoke "This is awful."

Okuyasu asks "What the heck could have happened in here?"

But Midnight and I saw the hand still moving before we noticed the black Mobian having an unsevered left hand.

Midnight spoke "*Gasp!* Hold on. That man isn’t Yoshikage Kira. He has two attached hands."

We took a look at the male cat Mobian, making Koichi gasp.

Josuke spoke "Huh? Holy moly! His face is missing!"

I growl "Part of his scalp’s missing too!"

Koichi asks "What?!"

Okuyasu asks "His fingerprints are, too. That’s so weird. Who is this guy?"

Aya spoke "*Weakly* He has the… same height and build a-as the murderer."

That made all of us gasp.

Aya spoke "That monster brought him here and murdered the poor man right before my eyes. He’s more ghastly than I imagined. He forced me to use Cinderella to replace his face, as well as his hair, fur and fingerprints."

Josuke asks "Wait. Are you saying he’s someone else now?"

Aya spoke "That’s right. H-His new face-*Gasp!*"

Josuke spoke "Shining Diamond! *Summons his Stand*"

Aya spoke "His face…"

Midnight and I noticed the hand going out another door, making us gasp.

“Josuke! Get back!” I yelled.

Midnight spoke "Don’t touch Aya, Josuke!"

Aya spoke "*Gasp* His face…"

Okuyasu summoned the Hand as it yelled while scrapping space with a hand swipe before Aya exploded with a scream, with the space erased by the Hand closing, pulling Koichi, Josuke and I back to the others, saving them as Shizue was on me, staying away from the turned bomb.

Koichi spoke "*Gasp!* Aya!"

I saw Aya’s spirit and caught her in the soul container before we saw the hand get past the door.

Midnight spoke "Kira’s past that door!"

Josuke snarls "He won’t escape!"

We went outside, only to gasp in absolute shock.

Koichi spoke "No! You’re joking."

What we saw was a crowd of businessmen moving about their day. No way we can find Kira in all of this!

Okuyasu spoke "*Groan* Everyone’s goin’ home. There are so many."

Josuke growls "But which one is he? Which one of these guys is Yoshikage Kira?!"

Koichi growled in anger. “Yoshikage Kira, you gutless prick! Come out here and face us!"

Midnight spoke "Kira managed to escape. With his new face, he won’t hide or have fear. It’s guaranteed he’ll stay in Morioh and keep living his murderous life."

“Even though Kira has won this battle, he hasn’t won the war yet. In the meantime, I have a spirit delivery to make for Danyelle.” I noted.

Midnight spoke "We can't track him by scent since he's constantly jumping bodies."

I spoke "But he won’t be able to do that again since he blew up Aya."

Twilight spoke "I managed to slip an undetectable tracking spell onto Killer Queen so if the Stand is used, I will know. Plus the spell can't be removed."

Midnight spoke "You forget, the moment you get to where you sensed it, he’ll already be gone with no trace."

Twilight spoke "Smart bastard, he'll regret pissing off a Demon Lord..."

I opened a warp ring to the hidden lab as I walked through before closing it. “Got a delivery, Danyelle.”

Nightmare Danyelle was busy with constructing a new body for Jerrod.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Just set it on the table, I'll get to Aya's soul next."

“Okay.” I said before green spirits suddenly showed up, spooking me before they merged, revealing Ermac, since I can tell Jerrod’s face isn’t the current face right now.

Nightmare Danyelle growls "Stay back Ichigo, this could get ugly!"

Kuro leaps out of his mother's shadow before snaring Ermac with Blood Chains.

Ermac spoke "We do not intend to harm anyone."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "…Talk."

Ermac spoke "General Shao, Reiko and his soldiers escaped Leo Chin prison as Shang Tsung escaped as well, but he strangely vanished. After Jerrod helped Kitana and her army route Shao, Reiko and his army, along with new recruits into hiding, we fixed the damage which had allowed Jerrod and reimposed our collective will. But the damage went further than We thought. Without Quan Chi’s aid, the spell which birthed us would fail. All of our souls would die. We freed the sorcerer from captivity. But after healing us, he betrayed us. He schemed to make us his slave once again. Kombat was fierce. Yet, We persisted, finding strength in the unique abilities of our collected souls. Quan Chi has gone into hiding, and knowing his dark magic, likely somewhere in the netherrealm. Now We must decide our future path. Reconciling our desires will be difficult, but reconcile them We must. If not, We will be consumed by civil war."

Biting back my fears, I spoke "But even with Demon Lord Twilight's help, it's going to be hard tracking that bastard down... But if Yoshikage Kira takes control of Quan Chi's body, it'll be complete chaos... For every mortal, immortal, demon, angel and god..."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "…Explain."

I told Nightmare Danyelle everything that happened.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "What happened to Kira is basically plastic surgery that he forced Aya to do. He didn’t jump bodies or took control of one. He stole an identity, therefore changing his."

Kuro asks "Say mom, don't you have access to dark magic?"

I spoke "Now that I see it clearly Dany, your use of dark magic is what's holding that mass of souls together."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Well, it’s a long story."

I ask "If that Kira jerk somehow makes it here, he won't be able to get past your Chaos Barrier right?"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Not like he’d know where this place is anyway."

Zane spoke "Plus the barrier's tuned to hostile stands."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Anyway, looks like we got a new body to make."

Zane asks "Aya Tsuji’s blood, right?"

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "We can't use my DNA or Twilight's DNA to make Aya a new body though."

Zane spoke "I know."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Last thing we need is a pseudo-Demon Lord running around."

“Right.” I nodded.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "If we were able to capture Kira with Chaos Barrier, we'd be rendering his stand useless too."

“But knowing him, he’s too smart for that.” I said.

Zane spoke "You shouldn't underestimate Danyelle though Ichigo."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "She knows, but also raises a good point."

I spoke "Even still, we have to outsmart him."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Anyway, looks like we got work to do."

Zane spoke "It'll be some time before Jerrod's new body is ready since it's currently in development."

Nightmare Danyelle searched the blood cabinets before bringing out a vial of Aya Tsuji’s. “Not to mention making Aya a new body.”

Kuro spoke "But first...."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Oh right!"

Nightmare Danyelle uses Soul Purification to cleanse away the sins of all of the trapped souls within Ermac before fusing them all into one soul, putting Jerrod's soul as the most dominant one.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Soul Rebirth!"

Jerrod's soul merges to the alicorn body since it was just an empty shell.

Nightmare Danyelle pulls up a magic screen that shows Jerrod's vitals.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Okay, brain activity is looking good so far. All other vitals are good too."

“Wait… Did you base this stallion body on…?” I was about to ask.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Yeah, I saw the picture in the great hall. Since I couldn’t get any of his original DNA, I had to make it from memory."

A portal from the Genderswap-verse opens up before an alicorn stallion steps out.

The stallion chuckles "That's where you are wrong young lady, the DNA you had used was from my mane."

Nightmare Danyelle asks "Wait-What?"

The stallion spoke "Think about it young lady, there are no alicorn stallions in your world. Just as alicorn mares are unheard of in my world."

Nightmare Danyelle facepalmed at that. “Shoulda known!”

Zane spoke "Barring Celestia's dad...."

“Right.” I noted.

The stallion spoke "I can't stay long since I have things to do."

The stallion went back to his own world.

Nightmare Danyelle asks "Hmm... Zane, should we wake Jerrod up now?"

Jasmine showed up. “Am I missing something?”

Nightmare Danyelle asks "Mind fetching Sindel?"

Jasmine spoke "Okay. *Notices Jerrod* Something tells me that body isn’t capable of shifting to human, anthro or Mobian forms. I’m drop by mom just in case. *Vanishes*"

Nightmare Danyelle contacts Sindel via comm device.
